Goodness - Kendra better enjoy her looks while she has it because at the rate she's going in a few years she's going to be looking like she's age appropriate with Hef (that's assuming he lasts that long).

Has anyone seen the Captain Morgan ad? The show showed a brief clip of Kendra's cover, but no CM ad. Does anyone know where I can spy a copy of it?

Also, I may be in Vegas for Easter, and I am already planning to go to the Playboy club, just on the off chance that the GND might be there. Granted, I have the good grace to be ashamed of it, but still :(.

Major props to the editors for this show. Just watching Hefs b-day/Casablanca episode and the scene where Bridget and her parents are eating lunch is hysterical. All the 'oh, this is sooo good' and various noises of enjoyment are classic.

Holly looks very girl-next-door in that photo in front of the Porsche (no pun intended). She just looks very plain and I am now finding myself wondering who does their makeup because I do believe that with the right cosmetics, any one of us could actually look like we could pose for Playboy...ok, at least from the neck up!! :)

The changes must be very subtle because it seems that the big difference is hair, makeup and airbrushing in that professional photo. The actual structure of her face seems the same. Are there any older pics of Bridget out there?

It is pretty subtle but I think she had something done to her eyes - they were so round and buggy in the old photos. Her beak has been refined and her lips have been done. And those teeth are brand new, too. Of course, that frosted white eye shadow whe is wearing in the old photos isn't helping her, much. I think Hef kept her around because she must have had a lovely anus.

TV Guide is now reporting that Hef will take the plunge with Holly. Um, doesn't he need a divorce first? Why would he do it now? I hope she signs some sort of paper so she doesn't get 1/2 the fortune when he dies.

I can totally see that, too...especially during Season 2. There's always some kind of weird tension between Holly and Kendra, like when they all went to San Diego and Holly kept talking about how Kendra thinks she's so ghetto but she isn't. Bridget always seems to be in the middle, sort of wringing her hands.

The Page Six bit is interesting but I have to say, I never got any I-Hate-You vibe from from Holly or Kendra. If anything, I'd say Holly just in general would seem slightly annoyed with either K or B but to the level of hate? Who knows. She could just be putting on a pretty face for the camera but is secretly an evil witch.

I gotta disagree with the poster that said other than good hair/makeup they couldn't see any noticeable difference in Holly's face. Looks like rhinoplasty to me. I wonder how Hef brings up the subject of plastic surgery, anyway? 'Hey sweetie, I really like you and all but if you want me to bring you out in public more, first off you gotta shave off some of that schnoz and I'm really into gigantic melon breasts. Can you get to work on that? Just tell them to put it on my tab.'

I have yet to see this 'elusive' episode. My cable company lists it all the time, but they NEVER show it -- instead, it's always a repeat of another GND show I've seen a trillion times. Apparently, they need to hire new schedule/show description writers, as does MTV, since they've listed Two-A-Days several times in the past week, but instead showed 'My Sweet Sixteen', in place of it.

Crazily enough, I don't think that's too far off the mark. Holly has mentioned in the past that Hef doesn't find her particularly photogenic and thinks her nose is too big (pre-surgery, I guess?). This is why Hef strongly prefers the girls to pose together at all times as well--aside from the cachet of "three girlfriends who have a semi-popular TV show," he doesn't think that they have the Playboy look by themselves.

Seems as if The Girls Next Door don't warrant their own premiere party - Paradise City (the show Seacrest is executive-producing) is also listed on the backdrop.


doubtful - they never change the carpets and they're covered with dog and cat shit stains from the time when Carter was President. And I don't want to think what other body fluids are in the fibres within the mansion. That would make a very interesting special - going into the Playboy mansion with a black light to see just what lurks...

RE: Kendra and Holly's relationship...

I get the sense that Kendra tries the patience of Bridget, Holly and Hef, like a younger sister or granddaughter should. However, they recruited her and kept her around before the show started, so the good probably outweighs the bad. I am amazed at how well they interact with each other.

Kendra isn't "ghetto", she grew up in the Clairemont neighborhood in San Diego! She was my niece's baby daddy's first girlfriend. I wish she'd kept him, other than helping my niece produce the cutest little boy in the world, the guy is a total loss!

Just a little factoid. Clairemont High School is where Cameron Crowe went undercover as a student, to research his book 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High'... which we all know, eventually became a hit movie. That said, he used the actual student's lives in his book, just changing their surnames.

According to his THS (I think), Hef claims to have been monogamous during his marriage, until their separation. At the very least, he did not have 'girlfriends' or multiple partners like he does now.

I had never really noticed the tension between Holly and Kendra, but last night, there was an episode I'd never seen, where Holly threw the "slumber party" for Kara Monaco, and you could just see that Holly wanted to smack her, but was afraid of getting strangled with her own pearls. For the longest time, I was thinking it was a new episode that they were just showing early. But then I realized that it must have been a repeat.

They very rarely show that one in repeats, and now I think I understand why.

I hear Holly hates Kendra, and she probably just tolerates Kendra because Hef likes to have her around.

Thanks for posting that link to the photos of Holly's transformation. Usually I find the effects of famous people's plastic surgery iffy at best: Melanie Griffin's whole face, Meg Ryan's unfortunate lip job, Micky Roarke's sad transformation, etc. But these pics of Holly show how beauty can be enhanced when done right. I'll also give a shout out to Ashley Simpson who also looks far better after surgery than before.

I think it's easy to figure out why Holly hates Kendra:

a) Kendra arguably has the "Playboy" look that eludes both Bridget and Holly (well, Holly is close now, but only after four rhinoplasties and assorted other surgeries). IMO, it looks like Kendra's only surgical enhancement is the boobs: in her high school sports photos, she has the same tiny nose (which Holly admitted was a sore point for her in, I believe, the unaired pilot) and copious white-blonde hair. Day to day, Kendra is cute, but nothing special. But when the Playboy hair, make-up, and lighting staff get their hands on her, she's stunning. Plus, she's 5 years younger (eleven years younger than Bridget, I think).

b) Kendra seems to take her place as a girlfriend for granted, relative to the other two. She doesn't seem as entitled as, say, Izabella, but she also doesn't take pains to tip-toe around the Mansion like Bridget and Holly do (flying back and forth to Vegas in one day to get back in bed with Puffin?!?). She seems to feel free to stay out at the parties and drink and socialize, rather than acting like a Stepford GND. This is also mentioned several times in the first season by Holly. If you read Izabella's book, you get the sense that Holly and Bridget really worked for the positions that they have attained. Undoubtedly, they feel resentful that 18 year-old Kendra sweeps in, wearing nothing but paint and is moved in that week, with zero effort, and zero wranglings with the "Pussy Posse" of seven.

c) Hef (in the footage we see) seems delighted by Kendra, even when she's singing "Slob On My Knob" to him in Mary's office. What surprises me is that while Holly is *constantly* gazing adoringly at Hef, often he is staring blankly over her shoulder (Exhibit A: the picture from the GND Season 3 debut party, where his hand is on her ass, but his eyes are miles away). Also, Hef seems to delight in giving Kendra what she wants, such as allowing her to go to the ESPYs with Destiny, staying overnight in Vegas for her birthday, allowing her to stay as long as she wanted in the Palms basketball suite in Season 1. I'm sure it makes B & H bitter that the rules they have lived hard and fast by are relaxed for Kendra.

Wow . . . go to Holly's MySpace and someone added a comment saying "Dang Holly you look different" or something to that effect and posted a bunch of before pictures where she looks like Laura Dern's little sister. Check it out
I think Holly is gorgeous nowadays, but you can definitely see the diff in these pics.

I had a dream last night that Bridget and I were friends and she confided in me that she's pregnant by Hef. We were worried about how Holly would take it. lol! For some reason her and I were dressed in PB Bunny outfits sans camel-tow for some promotion.

Also, did something happen for Holly and Hef? There are all these congratulatory comments on her Myspace. Those fangirls that posted on there are freaky.

I think that the congratulatory statements were probably made by people who have read or heard the rumors posted upthread, that Holly and Hef were engaged.
