Another note: tonight was Fight Night on FSN. Holly got in a bunny costume to hold a round card, Bridget got in a bunny costume to do the same, Kendra...had her hair tied back, sunglasses on, and the most BORED expression I've ever seen. I get the feeling she can't WAIT to get out of there.

Already been said, but there are hideous stone gargoyles that are always (except for at Halloween) covered up with fabric because supposedly they look too scary to leave uncovered. I assume it's that.

Has anyone seen the previews for the third season where you hear the girls voice over that they just want to do everything together because its so much more fun that way?

DVR'd a couple episodes yesterday that I hadn't seen before--Lodi & Manhattan. Gotta say that I love Bridget. She just exudes sweetness. It doesn't appear to be an act--she does seem like a genuinely nice person. And her little Grandma was too cute. All the Granny tchotchkes were so apropo. You just know all those dudes in Lodi were wagging their tongues the entire day. Bridget also strikes me as the type of person who remembers every detail you ever tell her so she'd certainly be great to have as a friend when it comes to birthdays. But, on the other hand, she also appears to be quite sensitive and cries a lot so I'd be terrified of hurting her feelings. But, I'd surely accept her as a friend. There are some over the top evil bitches I have on my current roster that I should 86. All that high-maintenance me-me-me crap is tiring. Overall, it's much easier dealing with someone who is actually NICE, sweet, caring and genuine (Bridget) rather than listening to some heinous nasty skank ramble why she's better than everyone else and why all the other women in the room are so hideously ugly (re: The Bad Girls Club).

Finally saw the before/after pics of Holly. I don't know why I never assumed that she had any plastic surgery on her face but yes, it certainly looks like she had her nose done. I'm not a huge proponent of plastic surgery but the doc did a good job. Anybody know if she had her work done AFTER hooking up with Hef? From the group pics, that's what I gathered.

The weird sex... the more I think about it, yes, I do still think it's strange. I'll go ahead and say it--I think multiple partners in one night is rather derivative behavior but hey, it doesn't appear to be hurting anyone so whatever. I'm open-minded and all but it just makes you wonder what the parents think. I can take the available information (the Izabella book info--and I'm not speaking of any of the bevy of women in particular as I know none) with a grain of salt but I'd tend to think that a lot of women engage in this type of behavior simply because they feel they have to or that it's the only way to achieve a goal. I'm no Sister Immaculata here folks--I'll go out for drinks and have sex just like everybody else and I'll be the first to admit that sex is actually fun, exciting and healthy. But generally speaking, I just think it's kind of sad that women today have been programmed to have a sexually-driven mindset. It starts early on and yes, sex DOES sell. The images are everywhere--even subtle ones. It's pervasive and unavoidable. Anyway, I'm just saying that while there are always various options or routes in which to attain certain things, the 'least common denominator' wins out far too much.

I don't think Kimberely and Hef will ever legally divorce. Child support surely couldn't have been more than paying for Kimberely to live next door, if divorce was the goal it would have been done already.

This is an eighty+ year old man who has already had one heart attack and doesn't exactly live a calm lifestyle. Hef will die like a weird alternate-reality version of Spencer Tracy, still married to a woman he hasn't loved or lived with for decades.



You can clearly see Holly's face change if you look at old pictures of her from when she first joined the Pussy Posse years ago. Scroll back and you will find dozens of links. Also, many biographers and old playmate have outrighted stated that Hef's girls as a rule get work done as a perk of their relationship.

I see very little of the OLD Holly, now a days.

I, too, tivoed a few episodes this weekend and found myself feeling sad for Holly upon watching them. The episode that comes to mind is the one where the girls find out they've made the cover of Playboy and Holly states that now she finally feels validated in Hef's eyes. That is just terrible! She had said earlier that Hef told her she wasn't photogenic enough and would basically never be in the magazine. What awful information to hear from the man that you "love." Strangely enough, though, I find that this comment suggests that Holly really does love Hef and isn't sticking around just for the magazine. I'm sure that the private jets, plastic surgery, cars, etc. are nice, but at the end of the day it doesn't add up to a life.

A question: when Bridget visited Lodi with K and H, an autographed photo of her was shown in the cigar bar. What exactly was this photo for? She was never in Playboy (prior to the time that she visited the bar). Do girlfriends get publicity photos?

She had been one of Hef's girlfriends for awhile so they may have considered her "famous" from that.

It may be possible that the Lodi visit came after the playboy pictorial, but the editors moved some things around for some reason.

With regard to their sex lives, I guess I'm really vanilla, because I'm a little grossed out by the thought of anal sex, period, even if it were, like, Johnny Depp begging for it. But I'm a nurse, so my first thought about it is "God, how unhygenic." Yes, I can take the romance out of any moment. Ask my husband.

Holy scary cameltoe, indeed, Bridget! Ewww. Knowing that while she's not fat, she's not exactly the thinnest of the bunch, she really looks like she had to squeeze the ever living daylights of her body into that bunny outfit.

I always thought Kendra was the prettiest and most photogenic of the three girlfriends... oh, excuse me... "girlfriends" when she had a professional do her hair and make-up for different events. She definitely shows that in these pictures.

Holly looks 'hippy', but it's probably the angle of the photo, since she's rail thin, and barely has any hips to speak of.

Its the design of the bunny suit, more than the angle of the photo I think. I suppose its meant to give an hourglass figure that was the ideal in the 1950's, it acheives that look by making thin girls look hippy with tiny waists

The softer hair color does look much better on Kendra. But the super-white-fairy-princess stuff on Holly is just a bit EEK! for me. So a recent episode got me thinking...

The Halloween episode featured the girls going on a scary-themed tour of L.A.. Prior to this we see Bridget and Holly in Bridgets room while B researches this particular tour on her computer. This is where the query lies--since we know she HAS a computer in her room do we think that Hef Big Brothers any and all online activity? And that question goes for the others too but something tells me Kendra probably isn't too internet savvy. What about phone calls? Monitored? This leads me to another query--are the girls permitted to engage in any extended social activity that doesn't involve being AT the mansion or with the others? The 9pm curfew has been established so surely they aren't elsewhere partying all night. However, it makes me wonder if they are allowed to at least go to lunch with their girlfriends, go shopping, etc. We know Bridget has the cute red Porsche so she's not trapped 24-7. Perhaps Hef fears that if too many girls get together they might start comparing notes and wising up. Granted, they could be free to come and go as they please and activities with others could be percieved as uninteresting thus these times not being shown. I'd just love to hear some scoop from a good source on this one. Anybody? If all this has been covered in a previous episode that I haven't seen, let me know.

Kendra looks so much better with her hair a shade that actually occurs in nature. I'd like to see her with a reddish blond shade--she looks a little washed out.

I think that is the stupid bunny costumes. The cut is so awful...with unnaturally tiny waists and high legs that cause "shelf hips". It is not flattering to anyone. I thought they had new Roberto Cavalli bunny suits - but if those are the new ones, he didn't change the basic fit of the costumes at all.
