I love the idea of Rita Moreno and Megan Mullaly (sp?). If I remember correctly, both have a musical theater background.
starwannabe
Regarding Barry Williams as "former teen idol" -- I think he's made the transition into the "older actor" category.
barkley
Barry Bostwick would be fabulous as would Bruce Boxlitner. Perry King or Tom Selleck too.

Jennifer Love Hewitt as an aging starlet - PERFECT. But please no Tara Reid.

I think Sara Rue would be a good choice too.

As far as the soap star, Kelly Monaco might be getting a little too much attention for some of her costars and their enormous egos. I wouldn't be too shocked at Maurice Benard being on the next show, as long as they could find a partner short enough for him.

Sports star - there would be nothing funnier than Charles Barkley, but I don't think they could find him a partner who is tall enough. I'd go for Dieon Sanders, Jerry Rice, Steve Young, John Stockton, Mark McGwire, or Dan Marino.
sgupta4
Ooooh, I would love to see Barry Bostwick! I have been in love with him ever since he played George Washington on some tv mini-series in the 1980s.
Tunia
WhoooooHooooo...agreeance on Barry Bostwick and Dan Marino!

And now, for loads of laughs (and a hell of a lot of snark value), I submit my aging ABC star...

Why, STAR of course! Yes, watching Star Jones Reynolds attempting to traipse across the floor, boobs and backflab a-jiggling, might just about do in the famewhore. But oh, the snark, the snark!!!

ETA: Yeah, you can throw in Dr. $hill also. Maybe we can kill two birds with one tango!
Svenska Flicka
Okay, here's my list!

Former teen hearthrob: Scott Baio
Aging starlet: Ivana Trump

ABC employee: Damon Wayans
(Although, I think his show's being tanked, isn't it? In which case John Stamos might be able to take his place...unless HIS show's tanked as well!)

Older character actor: Sam Elliott (rowrrrr.....)
http://www.dougmacaulay.com/kingspud/sel_b...or_last=Elliott

Ex-Athlete/Sports Star: Terry Bradshaw or Joe Namath
Reality 'star': Naked Richard, of course!
Dana Girl
I want to play!

Former teen idol (of sorts): Wil Wheaton. Come on! That whiny brat? Would be highly entertaining.

Aging starlet: Neve Campbell. She can dance!

Soap star: Anthony Geary. You'd know you'd love it

Former sports pro: Mia Hamm

Random ABC Person: Joy whatsherface from the View. She's mean.

Older character actor: Chris Noth.
IseutLaBrune
Ooh, John Stamos would be awesome. He's a former ABC star and a former soap star and he has the nicely charming self-deprecating thing going on. And he still looks pretty darn good!

Sara Rue would be a good choice. Wasn't Will Sasso on her show for awhile? He would be fun, too.

Are you listening, ABC? No more Bachelor/ettes, please!
TrininisaScorp
Maurice Benard being on the next show, as long as they could find a partner short enough for him.

BWAH! Bitter fans of TFGH unite! I'm with ya.
foultemptress
ooo, fun game!

Former Teen Idol: Rick(y) Schroder

Aging Starlet: Brooke Shields

Sports Star: Dennis Rodman

Older character actor: John Maloney (Frasier's Dad)

ABC star: Diane Sawyer

ABC reality show person: Trashy Trish!

Thanks for the link, Random Thoughts. Being in Australia, obviously we dont get the pleasure of watching your show, but I can keep up with it now. I wont add anything because Im late to the discussion, but I will say that I really liked John's Quickstep.

My favourite from the second Australian series, Holly, did an awsome quickstep and thats where she won my heart, so I think I will be cheering for John from now on. But only so long as his Paso Doble is up to scratch ;p
secrettvjunky
Why do I watch this show? Because I like to judge and ridicule people. Even when I'm totally unqualified to do so. I would probably love an etiquette competition, or chess.

Why was Evander making funny faces the whole time? I think Mike Tyson is watching this somewhere just shaking his head in sympathetic shame.

The most pointless part of the show is the "candid" training bits. Especially the emotional outbursts during them.

Oh dear... Britney Spears' Toxic as ballroom dancing? What kind of bullshit wedding band did they get for this shit?

Rachel Hunter looks pretty damn good though, I have to say. Her outfits have been delightfully explicit to boot.

J Peterman makes some funny faces too, but his are actually kind of funny.

Does anyone else find it odd that they all have to hang around in the same room the whole time? How boring. And potentially awkward.
mtlchickie
Evander: He tries. Oh he tries. But he had to go. Though Edyta is most beautiful Tweety Bird ever.

Rachel: Those extensions are to die for. Posture rocks. But Toxic as a song? And I never thought I would miss Britney's singing but the woman who sang it was awful.

Kelly: there were some fumbles but she's getting there. Gotta to hand it to her that's giving her all on this.

John: Charlotte grabs his ass at the end. Nuff said. Seriously, there were some bumps along the way: I did see some sliding around. But it's now a question of who they will meet in the finals. Charlotte saying he'll dance in a Speedo if he loses 20 lbs? That's borderline obsession sister.

Joey: DAMN homey. Other than I have the urge to buy some khakis from the Gap (remember that ad) I loved it. There was a bit of sloppiness there but I found it a lot harder than the other 2 jive couples. But what is this nonsense about him and Ashly in the bottom two last week? Damn you GH fans! My vote goes to him tonight.

I can't get enough of this show.
KMax
For the first time, I thought Joey was cute, though his open-mouthedness was a little overdone.

Thought John and Charlotte did a nice job and got some lower marks than they should have.

And finally, for some very odd reason, I was a little sad to see gallomping Evander go.
kgoklahoma
Nooooo! I was going to vote for Evander tonight - I loved that he gave it his all. I really enjoyed his and Edyta's dance. Still love John and Charlotte, but I agree, this dance was not quite as good as last week. And at least Rachel actually danced this week, but I didn't think her dance was as good as John's.

Next week - two dances! I was wondering when they would start this. Would be hard to fill up an hour with 4 couples and only one dance each.
deimos
I'm torn on whether the band being so awful is a plus or a minus for this program.
AwNutz
I know this sounds terrible, but thank God Evander's been voted off. He seemed quite disappointed, and maybe disenchanted, as well. I don't think he really enjoyed this whole deal, and it showed in his reaction to whether or not he'd continue dancing.

I thought the judges were too harsh on John and his partner. I loved their routine, and thought it was great for having been done in a week. They had some of the same complaints with Rachel's dancing, but their noses (well, the men's) are so far up her ass, they can't see straight. I thought John and partner did a better job. That, and I can't stand Titney Spears, so anything associated with her earns my undying hatred.

I was surprised to see Joey and partner in the bottom two. I really enjoyed their performance and felt the judgement was a bit harsh, but they don't seem to like him quite as well.

Can I just say that what'shernut's (the soap star) outfits are downright nasty. Who keeps dressing that girl in bra tops with stuff hanging down? For God's sakes, pasties do not belong in ballroom dancing!
oakgal
So, let's dance...the last dance. Let's dance...the last dance. Toniiiiiiiight!!!

Oh dear, poor Evander. I actually felt bad for him. What's wrong with me? I was snarking on him the last 2 weeks. I'm such a sucker.

Rachel & Jonathan: Again, I still think she poses alot. I thought it was okay, but I wasn't blown away. Hated the hair.

Evander & Edyta: I didn't think it was all that bad, I actually think he improved. But yes, he's not exactly light on his feet.

Kelly & Alec: I didn't love it. That's about all I have to say about that.

John & Charlotte: Loved them. Although his face was even more dramatic than usual--I found it a bit funny at times. However, she looked gorgeous and they have excellent chemistry. Just say no to the speedo, John!!

Joey & Ashly: I loved it. I think the judges seem to think Joey is a professional dancer and hence they expect too much precision from him. Whatever, I loved the spirit of the dance, the flirtiness, the story and his choice of outfit. Nice.

I was quite shocked that Joey and Ashly were in the bottom 2. I might actually have to vote.

Now I expect everyone's comments to be as crisp as a pickled onion!
Devon Rose
For God's sakes, pasties do not belong in ballroom dancing!

Actually pasties aren't not that uncommon in Latin Ballroom costumes. I've been to a couple competitions and its not surprising to see at least one dancer with a costume that has pasties.
TrininisaScorp
Joey: DAMN homey.

And a t-shirt was born. Truly though, he was working those khakis.

Yeah, it was a tad sloppy, but shit, I LOVED Ashly and Joey. I can't believe they were bottom two. They did ok last week, so they must have fucked up pretty bad with the audience votes.

With that said, I GIVE! I'm going to vote this week for them. I really enjoyed watching them.

I love John and Charlotte, but they were not as good as they were previously.

I no longer feel too bad for Kelly. Why? I was a rabid GH back when it was good, so I know how they think. They'd vote for her if she and cute!dancepartner started doing the running man. The running man! For the entire routine. That couple doesn't need my help.
hendersonrocks
Yep, Evander was terrible. But I'm still sad to see him go- he's definitely the most entertaining of them to me. It was really awkward to see how down he was, even before they announced the results.

I loved, loved, loved Joey Mac's outfit.

I never thought I'd say this, but Rachel Hunter is really growing on me. She seems very sincere, and working very hard to do a good job.
Munchiewoman
I wish Joey and partner had been able to dance to a real big band song. These covers of modern songs suck!

Poor Evander. I'm going to miss his clomping feet and mush mouth.

John and Charlotta rock. I think they're my favorite. They have so much chemistry and really seem to like each other. I love her elegance and his theatricality.

Kelly leaves me cold.
AwNutz
I stand corrected on the pasties. Still, she doesn't look right in those outfits. They end up making her look trashy.
Devon Rose
Oh I completely agree Kelly didn't look good in her outfit at all tonight, I thought it looked too big on her. She reminded me of a little girl playing in her mother's clothes.
gryphon
Oh dear, poor Evander. I actually felt bad for him.

Did it seem to anyone else that his and Edyta's dance was longer than the rest?

Joey did not appeal to me; he seemed very ungainly tonight. And Kelly, say no to the pink and yes to a support bra.

I think all the women's outfits are awful--Rachel Hunter'

Saloon girl anyone?
culturevulture73
I think all the women's outfits are awful--Rachel Hunter's certainly do her no favors. That said, I still think John and Charlotta did a better tango. Of course, they actually had a tango song. I'm a pop music fan and I hate the pop music.

And I'll miss Evander. He did give it a decent try.

I really dislike Kelly and I've never seen a minute of GH. She just grates.

ETA: As much as I'd like to see Chris Noth on here, I don't think of him as "older character actor" Dana Girl. But I think he'd be quite fun.

And I'd love to see Perry King, I think he'd be a natural.
pyashun
I LOOOOOOOVE the thought of John and Charlotte doing a little "Johnny & Baby find love in the rain at camp Jerry Orbach."

That said---Okay, is Ashly pregnant? 'Cause as my boiee K-Fed would say, "She be lookin' a little wide through the biz-elly, yo." Seriously, for a dancer? Big midsection.

Evander, you stole my heart with your big ol' stompin' feet.

I like Rachel--I just don't think a gorgeous glamazon can beat out a soap twit in the public vote. (Nothing against GH babe--she's just too twitchy and boobaged for me)

Why, why, why, why-oh-lord-Jesus-why do I care about this show?

Oh yeah, the karaoke vocalists. totally. suck.
inny
Although John and Charlotte are my faves, I think I'm going to have to strategically vote for Rachel to counteract the GH madness. (I'm also a bitter bitter ex-fan) But, as someone mentioned upthread, I'd love to see Maruice Bernard take this on - if only to see him face constructive criticism. That's snark in the making...

The rest of the couples really charmed me tonight. I agree Kelly improved, but not to the point that I would want to see one of the others go. Rachel is just lovely to watch, John is too much fun, and Joey was so enthusiastic.

ETA: Because using 'charmed" twice in the same paragraph isn't charming.
jcpdiesel21
Evander & Edyta: Eh. They tried, but I didn't think it was hot. Evander's outfits have been terrible. Didn't he wear a bright green shirt a previous week to match Edyta's dress? I'm a little sad to see them go, because it was entertaining to see their performances every week and Evander was trying, but he wasn't any good.

Rachel & Jonathan: They were all right, but not nearly as good as the judges made them out to be. That rendition of "Toxic" was terrible.

Kelly & Alec: They're better at faster dances than the slower ones. But that's not saying much. I don't know why Kelly insists on wearing these showy outfits displaying so much boobage, especially when doing such a fast dance, and wearing her hair down.

John & Charlotte: It was fun, but not as good as the last two weeks. Charlotte is developing an obsession with John, methinks.

Joey & Ashly: Best of the night, hands down. They had so much energy, the routine was a lot of fun, and I like how they had a whole storyline worked out, although I would have liked to see Ashly in a costume in the same vein as Joey's, because they looked wierd and didn't match side by side. I can't believe they were in the bottom two.
Hexele
I feel truly sorry for Kelly, don't hate her a bit. I used to do ballroom some and am also on the more top heavy side. They don't make costumes for people bigger than about a size 6 and with anything beyond a B-cup. I could work around the swing but Jive? All that up and down stuff? Yeeouch.

Pasties? Oh yeah. Bejeweled damn pasties. Tops with more flesh-mesh than fabric. That too. And I agree, Rachel's dress looked like it had been stored in her aunt's attic crushed in a trunk. For 35 years.
Michelle1
My love affair with this show continues.

I felt really bad for Evander, and I do agree that he's come off a little disenchanted with the whole experience. That's too bad, because I think he could be a great partner, just not for ball room dance. I thought their routine was miles improved, but still definitely the weekest of the night, so I wasn't too unhappy with their elimination.

Rachel and Jonathon - eh, I don't know what to make of these two. Having watched the encore presentation and tonight's ep, I had to reassess my opinion of her. Of the celebs, I do think she's the most polished technically. But I'm not getting any sense of chemistry between her and Jonathon at all. I think that's why it feels like step step pose to me instead of dancing. They leave me very cold. So while I think they technically had the best performance, and therefore deserved the judges marks, as a member of the audience, I'd rank them 3rd.

Kelly and Alec -- For me, really much better. Though I do think women probably would have an easier time with the jive, because that pointy toed kick just seems a lot more natural for a woman than a man. While I'm going to resent her if her soap fans keep her here too much longer, I'm happy for them to stay this time.

John and Charlotte. I really do love them. But I loved them more last week. There were elements of this that I thought were awesome, but the individual elements felt less smoothly integrated than last week. He did definitely get the whole prowl thing, though, which I suppose is why I am left so unmoved by Jonathon in comparison. He's just so asexual. So while Rachel and Jonathon had a little more crispness, I enjoyed John and Charlotte the most tonight. And I got to amuse myself by imagining J. Peterman (the actual character) dancing the tango.

Joey and Ashley. Second best for me. He does need to work on the sloppiness, and I felt it was more apparent this week. But I think the ocassional messiness of his performances is due to the fact that they just do more than the others. I'd actually like to see them do a slow dance (as I'd like to see Rachel do a faster one) to see how that affects their relative strenghts/weaknesses. As much as I like Ashley, I think maybe Joey is slightly hampered by her. I don't know if she knows how to choreograph as well as someone like Jonathon or Charlotte seem to. But they do have a fabulous chemistry and I of course adored the outfit (Joey's that is. Ashley's was, well, let's say it was better than Kelly's and leave it at that.)

Favorite part of the night, though, was Joey calling John out. I loved how both of them mentioned the other in their candid segment.
toddthomas
The Mrs. and I have gotten so we don't snark on the dancing, as we're pretty much admiring of how everyone is putting in the effort.

Which is good, since the female host (Lisa?) deserves all the snark we have to spare. She really does come close to ruining a good show with her insipid "interviews" and stupid comments. And inability to read the teleprompter...
heebiejeebie
Gawd the music. My ears, they bleed.

I actually agreed with the judges ranking this time.

Kelly really bugged me when they showed the pre-dance interviews. There was a bit too much, not whining so much, but a bit too much entitlement. I forget the exact words, but I know my reaction was "get over yourself already". And her dancing was better. But not great.

McIntyre is fun to watch. But not the greatest dancer. Now that Trista Reyn is gone I am content to base the ousting on ability and performance. I wear my hypocrisy well, don't I?

I really want someone to just smack the audience. Its called judging you gathering of fools. I was impressed that Kelly was a bit more diplomatic about the judging this time and realized that it is advice they are offering in there. The point of the show is to hopefully see the dancers improve. Not just flash their caps and get a rousing cheer from the people who thought they were standing in line for America's Funniest Home Videos and have pictures of Ty Pennington from their latest Sears' flyer in case Ty Pennington shows up on the lot.

Loved Evander's response to one of the assiest ina long line of ass-y questions those two hosting idiots have let loose. His look said it all when asked if he would continue dancing. It was like this huge thought balloon popped up over his head "you paying me to do it bitch" ? Wonderful.

Former NKOTB fan here...glad to see Joey's doing okay. He always did seem the most well-adjusted of all of them.*

That said...bottom two? What the heck? Sure, he wasn't perfect...but I'm pretty sure I saw Kelly mess up more than he did. So now I have to vote to counteract Kelly's apparent rabid fan base and Rachel's "I'm such the underdog nobody likes me so please vote for me" pity-cakes act.

Can anyone post Joey/Ashly's vote number for me?

I just felt icky and embarrased for Evander. Kind of like when Wanda and Jonathan weren't picked for the Survivor tribes.

*The last time I saw my fave, Jonathan, he was crying on Oprah about panic attacks and stage fright. Sigh. I picked the wrong one.

lol,I noticed this as well,I was like "She's a few jive steps short of a wardrobe malfunction." She was jiggling more then a fat kid in gym class...

I am glad Evander is gone,I thought he was hilarious but I think it was a mercy voting off this week.

Loved Joey's outfit, and the dance rocked! She should've been in a dress that matched what he was wearing. She definetly stood out more they she should have, compared to his outfit.
mrsdalgleish
You know, Evander really was better tonight. Still, he's the worst of the lot and if I were voting, I would have withheld my vote to release Edyta from the prison of dancing with him. I caught her smiling at the prospect of being eliminated and I can't blame her one bit.

What confuses me about Joey is this: wasn't he in a boy band? In his boy band days, did they not do those crisp, unison dances like 'NSync? Why then are his legs so loose and floppy?

I thought the costumes and choreography for Joey and Ashly were terrific, but how ridiculous for him to be in that soldier get-up and then dance to "I'm Still Standing." The hell?

I never thought I'd say this, but Rachel Hunter is really growing on me. She seems very sincere, and working very hard to do a good job.

I said the same thing to myself tonight and I felt better about her because this really was more dancing, less posing. But hated, hated, hated the hair.

John had some trouble with the head moves part of his tango and he seemed a little too....too. Still, they're very good compared to the others.

I liked Kelly and Alec's routing. I have to agree with the female judge that she doesn't seem to be "feeling" the music, but I appreciate that (unless it was scripted this way) the judges seem to be melting a bit in the face of their obvious effort.

While NKOTB did some goofy dances in their day I really don't think they were all that complex. Just a little hopping up and down and back and forth. Maybe a few arm movements were included. Nothing on par with the shows that NSYNC would put on during their tours and videos.

When NKOTB were in their prime, the dances they did were in no way complicated or complex like today's dancing. The boy bands today are expected to do much more complex routines, with much more intricate choreography. Back then, they did more actual singing on stage, as opposed to lip-synching to the pre-recorded tracks so they could do the extremely aerobic shows they do now.

I was thinking she must have wished she could remove those implants for that one dance. It looked truly painful while she was hopping up and down. The implant thing may work on a TV soap but not for doing the jive.

I don't think his boy band was doing the crisp, unison dances that the later 'NSync-type ones did. His group just danced randomly around for most of their videos. I thought he looked extremely handsome tonight and wonder if he could have a future in movies or at least a TV show...

I can't believe that I just cast a vote for a reality show. This may be one of the signs of the Apocalypse. I felt like Joey & Ashly needed my support though. I couldn't believe that they were in the bottom two tonight. This popular vote thing scares me. Actually, it was kind of fun last week when Trista & Louis got the boot, but I'm afraid that Kelly & Alec may end up winning this damn thing because of all the GH fans.

I think that of all the celebs on this show, Rachel Hunter is the best dancer. I'm still amazed by that high kick and those splits that she did last week. And she does have great "form" as all the judges have said, as well as an innate sexiness. But I just wasn't impressed with her and Jonathan's tango tonight. Their song SUCKED and the choreography was blah. It didn't even look like much of a tango to me.

John & Charlotte looked great and they took the tango seriously, doing all of the head snaps and the long strides. But John's goofy faces have got to go. I appreciate that he's having fun out there, but there's such a thing as being too animated.

Kelly & Alec definitely showed improvement tonight and I have to give the girl credit for hanging in there even though the judges have been really hard on her. But I just don't think that this couple is in the same league as John/Charlotte, Rachel/Jonathan, and Joey/Ashly.

Hated Rachel's costume and her dancing and non-chemistry with Jonathan leaves me cold. Maybe she'll have to finally do a fast dance where she can't pose every 5 steps. I think the judges were trying their best tonight to make sure their favorite didn't fall into the bottom 2 again by giving them such high scores. I don't think that was on par with John and Charlotte's quickstep last week and they got the same score.

Joey and Ashly were fantastic to watch.

Poor Evander. I didn't think they needed to be so harsh on him - he knows that he's not the best out there, no need to beat the poor man into the ground.

What confuses me about Joey is this: wasn't he in a boy band? In his boy band days, did they not do those crisp, unison dances like 'NSync? Why then are his legs so loose and floppy?

NKOTB's choreography wasn't all that 'Nsync-y. A lot of arm waving, and the most complicated thing they did was dancing on stairs in the Step by Step video. Easy enough for an unnamed 17-year-old girl to dance along perfectly with them in thier videos. (Ah...youth.)

Thanks for the link to the numbers. Stupid me.

Which is good, since the female host (Lisa?) deserves all the snark we have to spare. She really does come close to ruining a good show with her insipid "interviews" and stupid comments. And inability to read the teleprompter...

Oh my God, I know! My mom and I roll our eyes every time she is on the screen.

Love John and Charlotte because they are just so in unison with their movements.
I'm glad that Evander is gone because he just wasn't made to be ball room dancer.

Damn, I can't believe this show has sucked me in!

I agree. This popular thing is ridiculous. I'm going to have to throw a vote somewhere (I really like them all, except for Kelly... ) just to even out the rabid GH voting.

This was the first night I actually sat down and watched this show and I gotta say I really liked it. I can't believe I actually got online and voted. I'm such a dork!

I felt bad for Evander, but he really did try. The score was a little harsh though. He and his partner looked really bummed out in the end.

I really loved Jonathan and Rachel! The song didn't bother me that much, but I definitely think she's one of the best dancers on the show. I think though that they need to work on their chemistry a little more. They need to spice it up a notch. The dance was kinda sexy once you got past the music, LOL!

I also loved John and Charlotte! What a great couple! His facial expressions were a bit distracting, but overrall, great dance.

Joey and Ashly were good too, but something was off about them. I'm not sure what it was though.

As for Kelly and Alec, what can I say. I think Kelly is a great actress, but she's an okay dancer. I felt that she wasn't in synch with her partner as much as the others were. And she seemed a little hesitant. Carrie-Anne was right when she said that Kelly needs to listen to the music more.

I thought Joey and Ashley's performance was energetic and fun, but the timing was off of f o ff. And Joey obviously thought he looked damn good in that outfit, which I find to be annoyingly cocky. But ... he was pretty cute. What can I say? I don't like him but my eyes, they have ideas of their own.

Kelly was pretty good this week, but her dress was completely inappropriate for the jive. Too much stuff swinging around. And like I've said before, her outfits would look way better (and less smutty if that makes sense) on a curvier woman.

Speaking of outfits, what was with Rachel's Hefty bag skirt? She's got beautiful form and great presence on the floor. Why is she hiding in a pile of skirt?

John & Charlotte were charming and lovely as usual and Evander? I'd get down with him anytime at a club or party, but ballroom dance is not his forte. That's not to say he shouldn't still pursue it for fun, though.

ETA: Hey, did anyone else notice that they added a dance demo to the beginning of the show? Wonder if they responded to comments here? So in case TPTB are reading here, I hereby ask that they PLEASE do something about the music. It's just haaarrrible!

KM is partially deaf...hence the boos at the judge's comment.

I liked tonight's episode, but is it becoming that the contestants are being judged against themselves and not each other? I didn't think Rachel and Jonathan did a better tango than John and Charlotte, but since John and Charlotte "were not as good as last week" they came in second. (Both couples are my favorites, but John & Charlotte were better.)

Kelly is a cold fish and still leaves me bored and wanting to hit her with a tack hammer. "What was awkward were [Carrie Ann's] comments?" Really Kelly, because while you whored it up real good last week, your dancing was awkwards, and Alec is doing all the heavy lifting because despite barely weighing 100 pounds, you're a ton of dead weight. Now shut up. (I really find her annoying.)

Joey and Ashly were good too, but something was off about them. I'm not sure what it was though.

I pointed this out last week, but they both look deranged when they dance. Too high energy and smiley. They both look like they're about to spin into orbit. It's unnerving.

As for round two celebs, Rita wouldn't qualify since she was a professional dancer. She may be in her 60s (or more) but girl could move in the day. Neve Campbell may even be pushing it, although I don't know if she ever worked professionally as a dancer.

But Ted Danson would be wonderful. If anyone remembers him from Body Heat he was the DA and was always dancing. He's quite nimble. But I think Barry Bostwick would be the best choice for men. Can they convince him to put on the fishnet and stillettos again?

As for women, I'm just lobbying for Janice Dickinson to be on every reality show. I want her to host a second season of Kept and partner with Alec on a second season of Dancing With the Stars. I just want to see her EVERYWHERE!

I wonder how much of Kelly's problem might have to do with her hearing loss.

I loved Charlotte's costume tonight, it was very elegant, but the mooning over JOH has got to stop. Was the blonde in the low cut green dress his wife?

I loved how Jonathan had to break out the belt in order to get Rachel to stop leading.
