Oops, FormerOlympian, please accept my apology for the innocent question.

No need to apologize for anything. I could talk swimming all day, but would like to remain anonymous on the board, at least for now. Topic: DWtS and Kelly Monaco are two are my guilty pleasures.

While reading that Soapzone recap of the Extra interview, was anyone else mentally shouting "ok" everytime OK! Magazine was mentioned?... Just me? Ok.

Also, I saw a segment about John's cameo on General Hospital on the local L.A. ABC news (with that crazy, overtanned, botoxified, celeb-obsessed entertainment reporter). I don't have the clip anymore to do a proper recap but here's the gist:

John used to be on GH a while back and this was supposedly the first time the dancing "rivals" were reunited since the finale (but of course not: LKL? GMA?). So anyway, it showed them hugging very nicely (don't tell Alec this, but she was rubbing his back!). They showed that scene they were shooting and I don't know if this is just an outtake or whether it was being filmmed at all but Kelly winks at John. He gave the eyebrow-look-of-whatever-you-want-it-mean to Kelly afterwards. Don't know if that's going to be a part of their scene together. John was dressed in a standard cop garb who was accompanying a detective and they were talking to Kelly at her doorway.

Then some interviews with them in the waiting area: Kelly hopes that this cameo will dispel the rumors about their supposed rivalry and show that they love each other but "only as friends of course, my twu wuv will always be Alec" (yeah, that's a direct quote). John said... wait a sec. Dang, I think he said he was excited to dance again and that he's been so busy since the finale, he's practically living in a plane, but he'll make time to practice.

Just want to add this: they both looked really tired. It wasn't like they just need more sleep - they looked exhausted. But, I guess they're both just trying to take advantage of their new found opportunities.

Does anyone know which charities they're both dancing for?

I saw that bit in TV Guide about Peterman getting hosting duties for Mrs. America. What a coup! Except not. Nobody seems to give a crap's ass about Miss America, so much so that ABC dumped it, no other major network would touch it, and it was banished to the Country Music TV network. I gather the ones that care about Mrs. America is even less.

To top it all off, he has to be there with Omarosa.

His publicist really should be fired. It's nice that he's getting more recognition, but honestly, he needs to be more selective. Giant M&Ms and Mrs. America? I'd say that these are signs of a declining career, not one that is supposedly resurgent and on the rise.
barkley
Omarosa? No one deserves that, not even Trista.

They should both be put on a life boat in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and see who eats who first.

Topic: DWtS and Kelly Monaco are two are my guilty pleasures.

There are much worse guilty pleasures! I am currently enthralled with Rock Star:INXS. Honestly, I am obsessed with an obsession that’s obsessive. The show is to the point that I can see the end in sight. I hope that somehow the beauty of the Suxy! can help lessen some of my obsession so when it’s time I can move on. Why couldn’t the Dance Off (every time I think of that I instinctively do jazz hands) be a lead in to the DWTS 2.0? I think that would have been great for my little problem. I realize that ABC may not be concerned with what I need, but shouldn’t they be damn it! I watch their network and sometimes I even watch shows live and see the commercials.

FormerOlympian,

Would you participate in a show like this?

Hey, that's on topic!!

And would you wear your speedo? (Okay that wasn't on topic)

Seriously, if asked would you do something like this show?

Re: Kelly and Alec's (sigh!) lurve. After watching Artem and his partner on So You Think You Can Dance I think a lot of the nuzzling and gratuitous after-performance touching between partners may be par for the course in ballroom.

Bite your tongue annlaw78, hee-hee! Are your Suxy!colored-glasses worn out? Should I get you a new pair? :)

J/K. But really of the SYTYCD pair, only one body was producing any heat, Artem! That girl was like a young Trista, with all the inappropriate smiling during their intense piece. The Suxy! is a mutually heat generating and conductive body.

Alec, Artem... not to stereotype, but I think it's a Russian thing, and more generally European -- in that culturally, I think they are more open to expressing emotions in artistic performance. While in the US, I think there is a stigma for men expressing vulnerability and emotion in that they are labelled effeminate.

I feel the same way when I watch Russian figure skating pairs and ice dance -- they're are just so passionate, I feel like they're baring their soul when they emote and interpret music. And this is widely recognized by analysts, and the dancers themselves say it is part of their tradition and training. Coincidentally, this is why I happily cheered for them even at the peak of patriotism during the Cold War era. I was like, but their performances are just so moving... and their men are decidedly hot (I apparently swam in the shallow pool even as a wee lil' girl). Hee.

So yeah, conclusion: Alec & Artem -- both uber hot, both sweat sensuality and passion. More please!

Oooh! I love this. I wish John and Kelly get to dance together a little, that would be a good way to end the show. Even maybe a surprise, say Char & Alec teach them the same choreography separately, then they say, but now you have to dance it together!

Best idea yet.....

I'm pretty sure JOH has hosted Mrs. America before and I wouldn't be surprised if he was signed up for this latest appearance well before DWtS came into being. It's honest work, he pulls a paycheck and he does look great in a tux. Not a fan of the pagent but just saying. Let's see whether or not he agrees to return next year. Have to agree no one should be subjected to the big Zer-Oh for any reason whatsoever.

I've watched some of the clips from the Dancing With the Stars in Holland and it's the same damn show! Same theme, same live band w/live singers in the back row, same co-host type in the green room (which is painted deep red, which is a little disconcerting), same cheesy low-rent ballroom decor, four judges instead of three, and an audience that boos and cheers depending on how the judging strikes them. If they weren't speaking Dutch I'd almost think I'd wandered into some alternate universe where I just didn't recognize any of the stars. And you know? I still find it every bit as engaging as the American version. Ballroom dancing as the universal international relations equalizer. Who knew?

ClarionGrad, I had the exact same reaction to the red "green room." :D I do think the choice of music isn't quite as tacky in the Dutch version, and they actually let the pro dancers speak. Awesome... Of course, it doesn't help me much, since I don't speak Dutch. The Dutch pros also seem to have choreographed simpler dances for the first week than the American ones did.

I admit I'm looking forward to the next installment.

Where can I watch this? Or for that matter, where can I watch the other versions? I'm feeling the withdrawal so any dancing will do ;)

Also, for those who have seen the other DWTS versions, where there any couples that eminated the Suxy the way Kelly and Alec do?

Here you go, Mully:
http://www.rtl.nl/shows/dancingwiththestars/video/

The videos from the last Strictly Come Dancing are still available on the BBC site, but all I get is fuzzy images:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/strictlycomedancing/
ClarionGrad
Andreanne posted the link upthread (and now downthread from you as well, lol). Since there are eight couples and the clips are between 6.5 and 9 minutes long, it must be the better part of the show. I'm trying to get my friend's attention long enough for him to tell me who the stars are (equivalent to the C-listers on the American version?) and to try and get him to watch the clips from ours as well. I haven't tried to watch the clips from our version, but they're there as well.

I only speak a little Dutch so mostly I'm only recognizing the cognates, but the language difference really doesn't matter. The dancing is still enjoyable. I'll also be interested to see if they use music from any Dutch bands (DeKast in particular) and from Venice, an American band which is more popular in Holland than they are here in the states.

Topic? It's a long time until January and this is as good as any DWtS special ABC will put together in the meantime.

ETA: I was wondering the same thing, Andreanne, but for right now, I think it's just the two of us unless we can recruit some Nederlanders to the site.

I asked my friend if they were groot (big) famous or (kline) little famous. He'll probably just laugh at me and tell me they're C-list celebrities, just like in the American version.
Andreanne
If you speak a little Dutch, you might be able to figure out some info from the link just posted above, since it leads directly to the network broadcasting the show. I was able to confirm my suspicion that the very tall blond kid paired with one of Louis van Amstel's ex-partners (who is about Kelly Monaco height) is a former Dutch Idol contestant.

Heh, TWoP can't call me for being off-topic because I've got two DWTS US references in the last sentence. ;) I wonder if it's worth opening a DWTS Holland thread. How many of us are in withdrawal?

ETA: There are three of us already, ClarionGrad: you, me and mully. Good enough for a thread, as far as I'm concerned. I think the next show is tomorrow, so we can get started when the new videos are up. I'm already finding one guy annoyingly toothy...
mully
Thanks Andreanne! I watched the Dutch clips and the withdrawal has returned to a safe level. I even watched the rehersals even though I had no idea what they were talking about. Is this an official site? Just curious as to why they would make these clips available? I liked Joris (is this the toothy guy you're talking about Andreanne? He reminded me of Joey McEntyre but with better posture) and I liked Rudolph (he's so fun to watch). Well, I'll stop before I get in trouble.

Back to topic: I had this really funny thought about what dance style will Kelly and John do when they dance together. It seems like it would be total disaster since they are polar opposites. So I began to picture them doing Hip Hop and then I mentally slapped myself for even going there :)

ETA: I came upon this article at contactmusic.com about Swayze offering to help O'Hurley. It's kind of funny:

SWAYZE OFFERS O'HURLEY DANCE LESSONS FOR TV SHOWDOWN

DIRTY DANCING star PATRICK SWAYZE is hoping to give JOHN O'HURLEY an unfair advantage as the SEINFELD star prepares for a DANCING WITH THE STARS ballroom rematch next month (SEP05) - by training him.

Hot favourite O'Hurley lost to US soap star KELLY MONACO in the final of the TV dance show earlier this summer (05), prompting fans of the programme to cry foul and call for a dance off.

Now, Monaco has accepted the TV challenge and the two stars will hit the floor again with their partners on 20 September (05), but O'Hurley has been offered a little extra help.

Swayze only had time to briefly visit O'Hurley and show him a couple of moves before the final of the dance show, but now he's letting the actor know he's there for him if he's needed.

Swayze says, "Anything he needs, we'll be there with bells on."

Does this mean Jennifer Grey is going to help Kelly too?

ETA: Ok, I'm going to apolagize for how long this post has become, but no one has posted all day. Maybe I should take this as a cue to go outside or something. Maybe get me one them things people call a life. Well let me say this first,

How big of a dork am I to really want this to happen: A full on spoof on Dirty Dancing (sorry but I lurve that movie) with Kelly playing Baby and John as Johnny ;) They could do all the classic training scenes but with a really funny take on it. Heh.

Huskergal
I have a question. Sorry if it has been discussed before. I went back several pages and didn't see it.

Some people are saying the fans decided the finale. I thought there was no fan vote, hence the outrage.

All I can recall the the judges voting both times, the score totaled and the winners announced. Was there a fan vote for the finale? Were numbers from the previous dance added in?
blackwing
Huskergal, as throughout the series' run, they combined the viewer vote from the week before with the judges' vote from the finale night. The reason why people say the viewers decided the outcome is because there were only two competitors at that point, Kelly and John. Both the viewer vote and the judges vote had equal weight. The tiebreaker was the viewer vote.

So if whoever won the viewer vote happened to lose the judges vote, then the two competitors have equal scores. But the winner is the one who won the viewer vote. Essentially, whoever won the viewers' vote from the week before was going to win the competition regardless of what the judges said.
dr gailey
I hate this whole dance off thing for the simple fact that both parties have the potential to come off bad and this is cutting into my Sam screen time on GH. She may leave the show when her contract is up and I need to get all the Sam I can get while I can. Kelly is the only reason I still watch this shit today.

I will watch for Alec and Kelly though cause she is my girl and I loved the suxy.

Kelly will probably end up kicking his ass yet again in the viewer vote. This shit has seriously pissed off her fans and will only make us vote for her more. I didn't even vote the first time around and I just may have to cause this shit is down right stupid at this point. It was a fucking trophy. Get the fuck over it.

My girl needs a fucking vacation to catch up on some much needed sleep and a few sandwiches cause she has lost too much weight for my tastes.
mully
The Suxy is coming! The Suxy is coming!

FRIDAY, SEPT. 9 - Get ready to bop and boogie on "The View!" Barbara Walters learns to dance; U.S. hip hop champions Mix 5 perform; and Kelly Monaco ("General Hospital") and [her twu wuv] Alec Mazo, winners of ABC's hit reality series "Dancing with the Stars," strut their stuff.

Dr. Gailey,
My girl needs a fucking vacation to catch up on some much needed sleep and a few sandwiches cause she has lost too much weight for my tastes.

I am so wording this. I see clips of her before DWTS and she looks so well rested and for goodness sakes, she's so tiny to begin with, I'd like to see her with the 8 lbs. that she lost for this show.

But I will have to respectfully disagree with you on GH. That show blows so much right now and only started watching it again because of KM, but I hope she leaves asap or doesn't renew her contract. Or at least be on another show so I can watch that instead of GH.
dr gailey

I know GH blows but I do want to see as much Kelly as possible before her contract is up. There are already rumors that she disappears for a while in November and turns back up later next year. I want what is best for Kelly so I want her to leave if she wants to. She will make my GH addiction quite easy to quit.
mully
She will make my GH addiction quite easy to quit.

Fo show, Dr. Gailey! I'm hoping that the GH spoilers, or spumors, are correct. But I gots to say I will miss the Jasam somewhat.

Back on Topic: I will be ready to "recap" my heart out when the Suxy rears it's beautiful head on the View :) Did you guys hear, Alec was actually on the GH set "choreographing" the dancing scenes on GH. He said it was hard to teach someone how to "not dance"
barkley
Was there a new interview with Alec? I really miss the Suxy and yes, I have the TiVo all programmed for the View.
SleepDeprived
*raises hand* Me, too! I just programmed the TiVo to capture "The Return of The Suxy!" on the View. Hehe... Much as I hate those blabbering women on that show, I am so anxious about seeing Kelly and Alec grace my teevee once again. I'll just FF through all the useless jabber and straight to the suxy dancing. Thanks for the heads up, mully.

Oh, and I actually started watching GH after seeing Kelly in DwtS. It has since become my guilty pleasure as the show really cracks my shit up! It's hilarious, really. Better than some of the stuff those sitcoms come up with. And the acting, yeegods, the acting! Hee! I've noticed, though, that Kelly does look really tired in most to all of her scenes. And she's been losing weight. Girl so needs rest.

Then again, Alec's been coming to the GH set, right? They must really be *ahem* practicing and "working" hard. Heehee... It's twu wuv, I tell ya! Oh, and I'm twelve.
BrainyBlonde
Definitely looking forward to seeing "the suxy" on The View next week.

For all you Kelly fans, she's also scheduled to be on Tony Danza on Monday, Sep. 12. I don't think that it's a repeat, but I can't swear to it.
mtlchickie
I don't think that it's a repeat, but I can't swear to it.

It should be: most talk shows will start their seasons either this Monday or the 12th.

lol, the fancrushes here never cease to crack me up.

Does anyone have scoop on how the finale will work? Will they have to do smooth ballroom and latin?

More on Kelly M. on The Tony Danza show: Danza With The Stars
BrainyBlonde
The very fine Matthew St. Patrick (Six Feet Under, Reunion) was on The View today and one of the hosts asked him about his interest in ballroom dancing and if he would be willing to go on DWtS? He dodged the DWtS question which made me wonder if he'd been approached to be on the show and that's why it was being brought up on an ABC talk show, but he did say that he really enjoyed watching ballroom dancing and would love to give it a try and see how his "rhythm" would work with that type of dancing. I'd love to see a hottie like Matthew on the show. He's gorgeous, looks fit, and has the right level of celebrity. I don't know if Fox would let him do it since he's on one of their shows now or even if he'd have the time with starring on an hour-long drama.

Don't forget The Suxy on The View tomorrow. Joy Behar mentioned today that the whole hour would be devoted to ballroom dancing.
mully
Eeeeee! Can't wait!

But as luck would have it, I'm starting a new job tomorrow and I gotta be there in the AM. But come 10am (when the View is on) I'll be thinking of the Suxy and the Suxy Brigade :)
osculate
an entire hour dedicated to ballroom dancing? I am so there.

Mr. Osculate and I had a tango class last night. Whenever we'd flub a step he'd say "its okay, no one will notice that" but then I'd think of all the eagle-eyed TWOPpers out there and know that someone watching would catch it. But thats why I'm not dancing on tv. ;)

Just saw the View... Oh my! Such a brief glimpse of the Suxy! Enough to wet my appetite for the damn dance-off.

Kelly was so adorable. She kinda goofed a little at the end and Alec just cuddled her and she did a shimi, he-heh. And aw, Barbara was rooting for her on DwtS!

Btw, when did John do the View? Because Barbara quoted what he said in the show and that didn't sound good at all.
barkley
John did the view a couple of days or so after the show ended.

Kelly did a great job with the interview and she really gave it to John with both barrels without coming across as bitchy.

The suxy is alive and well. The little suxy look Alec gave her right before they danced? Yeah baby! If that's part of the routine, I wonder if there was some trick move they didn't want to do today in that one section where it looked like they were improvising.

Kelly really needs to think about what she's wearing if she's going to continue to dance on these shows. First the wardrobe slipping on Regis and Kelly and today with the skirt getting tangled in her arms. Of course, Alec did a great cover.
djork

Yup! It was like they were having there own little suxy moment, heh.

She's like, 'I'm not sure why I'm doing this {dance-off}', and I'm like the answer is right across sitting in the audience ;)

Anyway, it's awesome of her to donate all her proceeds from the dance-off to the hurricane relief effort.

Yup, she also needs to wear her dance shoes. I think she had a little problem moving around in her boots.

Looked like they were going to do a trick or dip at the end, but the cute cover-up made me giggle. Kelly is so darn adorable, she was like 'You didn't see anything did you?' to Barbara, lol. Though wished we saw more of Alec...
barkley
I can't believe how much I have missed the suxy! and especially Alec on my television.

That's exactly what I was thinking!!

Heh! You almost have to think the stars are aligned so that every time these two dance on a talk show somehow Kelly's clothes end up in disarray. Or maybe they're just so giddy and flustered they get carried away. Anway, as long as it adds to the suxy, it's all good.
mully
I finally got to see it ya'll!! Heh.

Quit blaming Kelly. It's Alec's fault. He can't help himself, he's always trying to rip her clothes off :P

And that was so cute when KM sheepishly asked if anyone saw anything. They stumbled a few times, which I blame the Suxy for. It's so overwhelming, you literally lose self control! :)

I was suprised about the John quote from WaWaWalters, coz she made it sound a bit nasty. Me thinks WaWa is a Suxy fan as well :)

I read somewhere that KM thinks JO'H will kick her butt and because he's doing that Broadway show thing so he's been able to keep dancing more than she has. Whether that's true or not, I hope KM isn't really going into the dance-off already thinking she's going to lose. She even talked about giving her trophy to him. I mean, it's one thing to not think you'll win, it's also another thing to think that you've lost already. Am I making sense?
lol, the fancrushes here never cease to crack me up.

Does anyone have scoop on how the finale will work? Will they have to do smooth ballroom and latin?

osculate, we are all slaves to the Suxy - resistance is futile!!

re: Dance Off. I think they will both dance Latin and smooth ballroom. And if I'm not mistaken, there is a third dance that they will do. Maybe another freestyle. But there's a good chance I totally made that last one up, lol

Lastly, did anyone catch that face/look KM made when Star Jones suggested that she could be Gabby's (Eva Longoria) sister when they talked about rumors that KM is going to be on Desperate Housewives? I interpreted that look to be: stfu you're going to spill the beans! And then Star was all, "I'm on to something..."

Heh! You almost have to think the stars are aligned so that every time these two dance on a talk show somehow Kelly's clothes end up in disarray. Or maybe they're just so giddy and flustered they get carried away.

That was exactly what I was thinking! You just know that those two can't take their hands off each other. All together now, "It's twu wuv!". Hee.

Kelly was so adorable and spunky during her interview. She's quite funny and totally not afraid to poke fun at herself. And the fact that she's even willing to give up the cheesetastic ball-on-a-stick to John O'Hurley should he win the dance-off proves to me that had she lost the first time, sourgraping (be it true that he Jo'H did that or not) would not have had been an issue afterwards.

And Alec... *sigh* I just wanted to run my hands through his hair... and, maybe, squeeze a bit of that tight backside. Heh. The white pants totally did him justice. If only he could lose the slicked back hair during performances and look as rumpled as he does when not in professional dancer mode.

I was, however, annoyed that it seemed like none of The Blabbering Heads on the View could pronounce Alec's name right. I mean, how difficult is it to pronounce, really? {A-lec(k) Ma(a)-zo}

The Suxy! is alive and well!

Kelly Monaco will be on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday, Sept. 19. Unfortunately, JK doesn't air in my area, but hopefully, someone will post the interview online.

Thanks for the heads up BrainyBlonde!

KM is also going to appear on Howard Stern (I think any day now because she is in NY promoting DWTS) but I won't be around to listen to it. Could someone recap it?

Kelly really needs to think about what she's wearing if she's going to continue to dance on these shows. First the wardrobe slipping on Regis and Kelly and today with the skirt getting tangled in her arms. Of course, Alec did a great cover.

And let's not forget the straps breaking on DWTS. Too many malfunctions. And if Alec were to dip her in that dress she wore on The View it would have went right over her head. All we would have seen were ugly boots and a thong.

Considering her sleazy Maxim photoshoot, I don't think Kelly would've minded flashing her thong for the viewers, if she was wearing one. She doesn't seem the modest type. It's pretty clear she's placing all her bets on her Playmate image and not expecting to be taken seriously as an actress or a dancer, for that matter.

I hope you don't take this the wrong way peppypen because I've always appreciated your posts (even though I disagree with most of it)... I hope you weren't suggesting that KM would actually flash her venus mound to the world :P that's a bit extreme. Obviously she's not modest - I mean she was on Playboy for the sake of Pete. I for one didn't think her Maxim photoshoot was sleazy. I think Maxim can be sleazy but I guess I draw that line between hot, sexy, and plane ol' sleaze differently than some folks (to each his own).

Anyway, maybe I'm being biased, maybe it's my attitude towards nudity, maybe its because I wouldn't hold the Playboy image against any former/current Playmate (and I'm a straight girl btw) but I for one wouldn't judge KM's talents because she was half naked in a magazine (and nude in Playboy) nor do I think that the image she's trying to put out is that of a Playmate and not as a serious actress. From what I've seen from her acting work, I think she's quite talented and has a lot of potential (and I'm not saying this because I like her personality) - jmho.

She has stated that she's not hiding from her past and isn't ashamed of it - as of late, she hasn't been appearing nude in her show nor during those various wardrobe malfunctions; none of which really showed anything (just a hint): her boobs didn't pop out during her samba (it was hardly Janet Jackson territory), nor did they make an appearance during Regis and Kelly, and no skin except for legs were visible on the View. That baby doll dress had 2 layers; the outer layer was sheer and that's the part that went up and an inner layer which covered her). To be honest though, I didn't like that dress very much either, she's small and it didn't flatter her and let's not even discuss the boots lol

Also, to me, all those wardrobe malfunctions just emphasized KM's clumsiness(sp?) and it just made me want to give her a hug and pat her on the head like WaWaWalters did on the View. And as stated on that NY Times article, I find KM's sexiness to be innate and unforced. It's just there (unless she wears an oversized sack to cover her body).

So sorry that this has veered off topic, but I had to defend KM. I promise to only talk about dancing from now own

and the Suxy! :P

I find her 'sexiness' to be crude and quite forced myself. Posing on the cover of a men's magazine tugging her panties down while greased like a pig at the County Fair is not exactly subtle, IMO, nor is it 'innate' or 'unforced'. While we've all got our own definitions of sexy, Kelly plays to the lowest common denominator, IMO, and I do think it prevents her from being taken seriously as an actress just like Pamela Anderson and others whose main claim to fame is that they'll pose nude. As for whether she'd do the full monty, so to speak, I have no idea, but she's already done it in Playboy, so I suppose she might do so in a film. She couldn't do it on network TV though, at least not here in the US. As for her various and sundry 'wardrobe malfunctions', I suspect they're meant more to remind us that she is 'suxy' or whatever rather than that she is clumsy. The thought she might accidentally pop out of her top will keep the teenage boys tuning in anyway.

Like how Charlize Theron posed naked for Playboy and now has a Best Actress Oscar? What a shame she wasn't taken seriously as an actress.

Maybe that sleazy Halle Berry who now does gratuitous nude scenes in her films and demands to be paid extra for showing her breasts? I guess she isn't taken seriously either.

Hilary Swank did the "full monty" and other nude scenes in film as have lots of other actresses who have won or been nominated for "serious" awards in the industry.

Kelly is a talented actress and it takes something to make you noticed by people in the industry she's in. I think being a soap actress would hinder her career more so than Playboy or Maxim.

Bring on the suxy!

But then why was she worried at the end of the dance and said "Could you see anything?" and kept pulling the dress down?

OMG!

A Dancing With the Stars marathon on the Family Channel on Sept18, 12-6pm!
But then why was she worried at the end of the dance and said "Could you see anything?" and kept pulling the dress down?

Because it probably felt like the whole thing went up in the air. Anyway, Alec was right there to cover her up. Ahem.

Also, I'd like to offer a truce of some sort, before the admin gets on our ass. Obviously some of us have polar views on certain issues (the real winner, John's bitterness, conspiracy, sexy/slut, etc) and I think we all know who we are and that we've made our point.

Of course this is easy for me to say since I got my 2 cents in :)

Great catch, mully. Looks like it starts at 1 pm on the west coast. It's now on my calendar.

What a relief: just realized the dance-off on the 20th is on Tuesday, not Wednesday. Looks like ABC didn't want to go head-to-head with SYTYCD as it spins into its waning hours.
