Kelly's boobs are real.
She's said this herself - and given the natural slope, and the fact they do kinda sag, I believe it. plus she has the build for it - while quite slim, she's got some booty on her too.
I definitely enjoyed this show - it was piece of cheesy fluff, and I never expected more than that. I think all these calls of 'Fraud!' is a little melodramatic, but hey - everyone needs a drama, and something to complain about.

Some of these comments are just so good they must be repeated!
[Kelly] Stomped around the dance floor like a tiny, busty much lighter footed yet still heavy footed Evander Holyfield.
BWAH! ITA. I actually really liked Kelly as a person at the beginning of this competition, still do, but she's not the most graceful dancer. A tiny Evander...what a picture!
Trista (who's can longer convince the public she's not Satan).
I agree with the poster that thought Trista seems graceful. But if we had had to watch her pretty dance moves and hammy smiling for the camera for more than two weeks, I would have broken my TV.
Alec still skeeves me out something fierce. He looks like a seductive killer in a Lifetime movie
Hee! Yes, the man can move and has a nice body from the neck down. But he has the creepiest dead eyes and stringy hair.

It's funny last night when we first saw Kelly my mom goes "Wow that's the most clothing she's ever worn" not maybe 3 seconds later Kelly rips off her outer outifit to reveal she's wearing practically nothing and my mom was like "ok never mind game on!" I was dying of laughter!! Kelly while she has a good body just can't dance at all! I totally agree with whoever called her a tiny Evander Holyfield!

My problem with Alec is how his facial features seem to get lost with makeup- in the informal shots he looks much better. The body and moves are fine but he just comes off as too bland facially.
Do these folks do their own makeup?

Lisa, first I welcomed you back. Now I want you dismissed. Let a dancer say a word just ONCE!
OMG,
mtlchickie - that was hilarious (in an annoying, stupid sort of way)! What is the point of making the "flashback" sequences so damn long if it means they have to cut off every single dancer or judge who tries to answer a question the stupid hosts ask. It's so stupid. And annoying. This show sucks. And 3 10s after Alec dropped Kelly on her knees at the end of the dance...the hell? Those judges better give Bobby and Whitney back their "medication." I didn't like J& C's freestyle very much - what was with all of the riding around on John's waist crap?! - but no way K&A should have won.
If they do this again, they had better make some stricter rules about the judgin. I hope those judges never work in the dance world again - they are pathetic! I also think they need to come up with a better way to factor in the audience votes. There is no way that the winner should have been decided based on last week's dances. Or, if that is the case then why bother dancing again? It's all so stupid. I can't stand it! My head is going to explode.

I would have been happy with either couple winning so it was, quite literally, a win/win situation for me. I kind of got a kick out of Charlotte's frreestyle outfit... it was like 'No... I'm NOT 45!' I thought J/C's freestyle was okay... I loved K/A's freestyle. I also thought their samba was cleaner and sharper. I don't know whether it was the tempo that was slowed or the lack of 'will her dress fall down?' that slowed the energy... maybe a combination of both.
Alec in the casual shots, with his hair not slicked down and all curly and stuff... holy hell... hotness.
I know a lot of people got tired of Kelly's "Well we worked sooo hard" speeches but what else is she supposed to say? Every week Lisa asks her how she managed to come back from that miserable first week like she's going to say something like 'Well, I found the magic elixer of dance and have been bathing in it every day...' No. The answer is she worked her ass off. She's not suggesting that the rest of the couples are not working their asses off but there really isn't anything she can respond with that would be any better than 'We worked so hard and Alec is great.'
As for the tens, I agree with those who say they are a ranking score rather than a "perfect 10!" They marked J/C with 9s. If the judges thought that K/A were better then there's really only one score they can give (although the .5 stuff would have been much better in this situation.
Kelly... I really like her. She won me over in all of those rehearsal clips going as far back as the rhumba week ("Come to me... come to me... come to me... no... get AWAY from me!") She references oompa loompa's and calls herself a dork. I girlcrush on her.
Like I said, I would have been thrilled either way. And, hey, Kelly looked so happy when she got the 10s AND when she won. I couldn't help but be happy for her.
But if that fugly trophy was what you got for winning... I think I'd rather have gotten second.

I think it is fair to say that many of us are frustrated that a consistently strong couple, who brought in the viewers weekly, lost to an inconsistent couple who should have been voted "Most Improved!"
Once I saw Kelly's opening scraps of material and Charlotte's ball gown, my heart sank. By touting the show as a Dance show, with professional dancers as coaches and using professional dance steps as guidelines, one, erroneously, expected the judging to be about Dancing, not gymnastics.
That being said, I am sure that Kelly is a nice person IRL, but that doesn't mean that she deserved to win this overall.
I was sad at the results, but I, too, felt that John and Charlotte had been given the news during the break (at least) since he had a resigned look on his face before the final result was read. When I saw the craptastic "trophy", I was relieved that John wouldn't have to deal with putting that in his house. Geez. Shame on you ABC for not handing out a decent trophy given the great ratings this show has brought you.
Blackwing -- I noted, previously, that Lisa's dresses looked like they were pinned in the back -- I was gratified to see that Someone took my advice and put a decent, fitted dress on her last night. It looked good!
The nicest thing I can say about Trista -- we didn't have to hear any Baby Voice from her! Yay! She looked, again, very uncomfortable and stiff dancing last night. Almost like she thought her partner had cooties. We GET IT....you are married. Whatever. Get over yourself.
Evander, you big lug. He had such a happy look on his face when he danced away. Meanwhile, his partner looked like she was trying to Stay As Far Away As Possible from his size 14s.....heh.
Good show. Good times. Meh ending.

If they do this again, they had better make some stricter rules about the judgin. I hope those judges never work in the dance world again - they are pathetic!
While I agree that they need stricter rules for what the judges are judging, I disagree that the judges were pathetic. The show's website says, flat out, that the judges' scores are given for technical dancing
"among other things." What exactly those "other things" are isn't mentioned anywhere, but it's pretty clear that degree of improvement, appearance, and personality were among them.
I do think that they need to rework the scoring system. I don't know how, although a third-party secret tie-breaker might be a good idea. Better would be to change the scoring formula so that ties are less likely; as this one was set up, there was almost certainly going to be a tie for either first or last each week.

I really think that both of John and Charlotte's performances were better. I liked their freestyle because it played with the things they've been criticized for in the past. I also liked it because it incorporated so many forms of dance, not just what they feel comfortable with. And they used the whole floor, which was very cool. As for the straddling, it happened, what? Once? That's too much?
I recall more than one straddle and yes, once is still too much. I really think Kelly's and Alec's freestyle was better. John's and Charlotta's was bizarre and so blatantly pandered to the judges and the audience. I liked them too but was still turned off by the standing-still-and-grinding-hips production and the ripping off of the coat to reveal the "Chicago" finale dress. And what was with that coat? Looked like she was going to flash somebody or sell stolen watches.

ROTFL.
Cearbhaill I think that quote should answer your question whether they do their own makeup :) I don't think Charlotte would purposefully make herself look 10 to 15 years older, the poor gorgeous woman. ABC definitely has make-up 'artists'.
So that was
Miss Alli! I totally see her point about this:
John and Charlotte opened the freestyle portion with a routine perfectly plotted to capitalize on none of their strengths while emphasizing all of their weaknesses.
I was a little surprised at Charlotte's choreography. I thought they would do something more elegant along their strengths, and add some of Jon & Rachel's style tricks, which were phenomenal yet still capitalizing on their lines and extensions. That was the first time I disliked Char's choreography, partly because strategically I didn't think they could out-shake or out-lift the suxy-twins. But kudos to them anyway for stepping outside their box!
I don't get all the Alec love. He seems creepy to me. And greasy.
But, but... a guy with great hip action can do, uh, a lot of great things! It's ok, less for us to share :) I agree though, he looks much better in the rehearsals. Most of them do... like Joey with scrubble.
Seriously, I showed my bf who I've been trying to get to dance for the last 5 yrs. and showed him Alec's rumba. I was like "See that, I want you to learn to dance so you can hold me just like that!"

I relate to Kelly way too much now. I'm 5'2" and have a large set of natural boobs. When I put on weight it goes straight to the boobs and when I lose weight the boobs are the last to show it. Shopping for shirts with buttons or dresses is a frustrating chore.
Also... even as a tiny kid I was a tromper. My mother used to say I walked like an elephant. I guess, in a way, it's nice to know that I'm not the only little thing that tromps around like some kind of gladiator.
That being said, no way could I have ever landed on my knees like Kelly did last night and then get up like nothing had happened. Hell, if everything else had gone horribly awry I would have been applauding her for that. It looked like it hurt something fierce.

I'm perfectly content with that ending, but I also would have been happy if it had gone the other way. I like John, even if he seems to be "on" all the time, and I like Kelly's attitude. (I also like looking at Kelly, but I'm able to put that aside for rooting purposes.)
I must say, however, that my favorite part last night was Evander. He was never going to be technically good, but he sure did look like he was having fun. Actually, we think he looks like a good dancer having a fun time at a wedding. He would totally be the star of a wedding video, especially if he wore that yellow outfit.

Evander definitely looks like he has great rhythm, just the way he bops to the music. Just that ballroom is not the style for him with all the travelling in close quarters, light-footedness and lines required.
I bet he can really get his groove on. Social swing dancing I'm sure he can do, you can see it on his improv on the Jive.
Anyway, it was definitely a highlight to see him smiling. Did you see him pinch his nose? Very cute!

I'm a tromper too. My brother always used to say that my Indian name would be "Walks like buffalo" (Dances with Wolves was the big movie at the time).
I don't think the competition was rigged at all. In fact it would have benefited ABC and John much more had he won since he was the one with all the outside press and the more recognizable face.
I would love to go to a club and dance with Evander. He grooves to the music so well.

I'm sure its a sign that I became far too emotionally invested in this show but I was horrified that Kelly and Alec won.
Their samba was decent, I didn't have any complaints about it. But the freestyle was awful. There were four very clear incidents where she misstep and other times when she simply seemed to have lost the beat and looked to Alec for what to do next. Landing so hard on her knees at the end was just the most obvious issue (and, in fairness, probably more Alec's responsibility).
So when that ended I though "well, okay that settles that" but what was with the 10s???? I suspect that someone told the judges that Kelly got the audience votes to win and they needed to give out 10s a) to make it look plausible and b) for the added finale drama.
I think it is interesting - and a bad decision - that you never learn what the audience votes tally to. Don't they tell you on AI? It would be nice to know how significant Kelly's lead was going in. Maybe her win was a forgone conclusion.

And they are magnificent!
My Indian name is Runs with Beagles.
From the msnbc.com article linked a couple pages back:
Evander, in particular, looked even more uncomfortable than he did when he was getting regular practice, and it still appeared as if his enormous stomping feet might be a threat to nearby villages. Trista still looked like even touching the hand of a man not her husband made her feel guilty. Perhaps she would have been more comfortable if she had performed while encased entirely in plastic wrap.

I need to say that I'm devastated by the Kelly/Alec win. I was SO into John O'Hurley and Charlotte that I got a little tear in my eye whenever they danced. They were sweet and they sold every dance. I hear they will be on Jay Leno on Friday. I actually want to see them redance their program not just some interview. Would be interesting to see it again, I want to see the intended dismount!
And agree, I was like, finally they got a decent gown of Lisa Canning, too bad I still don't want to see her next season... we need better interviews please! Not the same goddamn questions everytime.
Also why I would dread Kelly & Alec going to all the talk shows just doing interviews... I bet they would ask her the same underdog question over and over, and she really has no choice but to say "perseverance blah, blah... Alec is great". Show, don't ask, people! Oh, I would. Well, that is, if I watched any of those shows (AI, CSI)! Any time that this show comes onto the lineup, of any network, I will make a point to tune in and watch it faithfully. Hear that, ABC (et al)???
BTW? I'm on board with the "Alex is a hottie off-set" group! Sans the greasy, slicked-back hair and makeup, he actually has fluffy, curly, hair...sexy bod...and some evidence of a personality! I wonder where his personality goes when he is 'on'? When they're standing around before & after performing, he has the blankest look on his face I've ever seen. It's like he hasn't got a thought in his mind. On the dancefloor, it seems like his body simply takes over...and he's suxy, but for my taste I simply prefer John's style.

I know this wasn't meant as a compliment, but oh the places my mind wandered to. Much enjoyment for me!
In spending some time thinking about this I agree that the freestyle choice of John & Charlotte didn't really show them in their best light. Maybe Peterman just doesn't do shake it/shake it that well. It seemed strained. They have looked so elegant & graceful when dance, but this routine didn't click for me. I think the judges got carried away with the 9's & then were stuck if they wanted to rank Kelly & Alec higher. Not enough forethought on their part. I also get what some of y'all are saying about Kelly looking like she missed steps in their freestyle, but I also think they threw in a lot of dancing, and in hindsight I don't think J&C did as much. Still I enjoyed the entire cheesefest that was this show & am hungrily awaiting it's return.

Jul 7, 2005 @ 1:42 pm
I'm in the camp of those who wanted J&C to win because I think they really did have the best synchronized steps, smoothest movements, and cutest personal chemistry thruout the whole show. And dropping 20 lbs, gaining grace and confidence, plus actually being able to LEAD a partner as fantastic as Charlotte IMHO makes John most improved in my book!
I've never seen a soap opera episode so this was my first look at Kelly. I like her personality, the obvious determination and hard work it took her to improve so much, and she has a totally smokin' bod. She did a good job during the Samba, but OBVIOUSLY was just running to keep up with Alec during the freestyle...several missteps, wrong turns, and at least once, she stopped for several beats to catch up! So WTF with the 10's, judges!?! Do you really think the American Public is so stupid we didn't see the mistakes?
Anyway, Kelly can have the Disco Ball on a Stick. She did a good job and did improve a lot from week one. This whole show was fun to watch, the costumes were beautiful, the people were great. Hope the next one doesn't have such an obviously rigged ending.
BUT...watching the gorgeous Alec move like liquid fire across the dance floor with his incredibly fluid shoulders, arms, and hips.....priceless.

Blondie, thanks for reminding me that Alec does have an upper body as well. My focus tended to be directed a little more southerly. (Must stop being a dirty old lady -- is it hot in here, or is it just Alec?)

I was so upset about the outcome last night that I logged on but couldn't actually type. No, this isn't something that is earth-shattering (ala London's goings-on today) but it just seemed so wrong to give a perfect score to an imperfect dance.
I do have to say, however, both Kelly and John were huge winners regardless of who actually won the show last night. I had no idea who either one were prior to this show (forgive me, not a Seinfeld fan) but now, would travel all the way to NY (from Oklahoma, thank you) to see John on Broadway. No, I won't start watching the soaps to see Kelly but I know her name - that's something.
I will miss seeing John and Charlotte dance every week, though!

There's one thing I'd change on this show. Well, maybe two.
One, I'd love the season to start off with some non-elimination episodes. I'd like to see some of the weeks of training/practice that happen before the first episode, with maybe some "dress rehearsal" dances done for the judges to get feedback and tips. I could handle a couple of "getting to know you" episodes with lots of backstage footage prior to the eliminations. Kind of like the AI bad audition shows. Those are actually all I watch of AI anymore.
But I'd have enjoyed seeing someone like Evander having fun with his dancing for a bit before he got eliminated.
The second thing I'd change would be hosts. I'd love John O'Hurley to host.
And how can anyone not love the disco ball on a stick?
*sheepish* I kinda liked the disco ball on a stick *sheepish*
IMO it was as a fun, lighthearted, right-slice-of-cheesy for the show. I actually laughed in pleasure.
I have to ask because I keep seeing GH fans bringing up how "hated" Kelly is....are soap opera watchers so involved in this make believe world that they've lost the ability to differentiate between a character on a show and the actress who is paid to play that role?
Obviously making blanket statements about any audience would be inappropriate. Just because we all watched DWTS doesn't make all of us on this forum the same.
As for how playing a "hated" character might affect an actor's popularity, I don't think it's hard to understand. If one's character is on day and day out (or week in and week out in primetime), and that character isn't popular, the actor playing the character isn't likely to garner many fans. I rarely see anyone post about how talented an actor is at playing a hated series character. Movies are an entirely different entity. The viewer sees a character for a couple of hours, and next time s/he sees the actor, the actor is either playing a different character, or doing some personal interview on the pimp-your-movie circuit. But when some movie actors get typecast as particular kinds of character, that can affect their popularity as actors. Someone who plays heroic characters in movie after movie is more likely to have a strong fanbase than someone who plays the evil foil in movie after movie.
Because Kelly played an unpopular character, there weren't many GH fans predisposed to like her as an actress. So she wasn't riding some huge fanbase coming into DWTS. Now, a name like Lucci (who has also done many personal interview spots, letting people see her out of character) might come with a huge fanbase. Kelly, not at all.

It's official. I would like to request that ABC put Alec in one of their shows. Preferrably always in tight clothes and 50% of the time showing at least his shoulders or is half-nekkid... which half is optional! Because I can't wait until next season -- if he even comes back.
For the Kelly GH fans... Alec does Q&A's every Sunday right? I've read some of his answers, seems like a sweet, intelligent guy... has anyone:
1. Found out what his tattoo is all about?
2. Intimated to him that he looks much-much more gorgeous when his hair is not all slicked back, when it's all loose and you can run your fingers thru it? Because if not, please do, heh.
He also went to Berkeley as an undergrad, so I like him even more!

I am 5'2" but I have a butt... a LOT for my small frame. When I was thinner and more boy-shaped, I hated shopping for clothes because I have a natural arch in the back that makes pants fit weird and having small boobs makes shirts with buttons a HORRIBLE experience because... nothing to fill it out. Thank goodness for "blossoming" and fasion realizing that women come in all shapes, sizes and have body issues (unless supermodels who MODEL the clothes!).
And to add more to the sharing... I tromped too! I was SUCH the tomboy. Then I learned to use that to my advantage and coined my "strut" walk. *LAM* It is my version of imagining I am walking a runway... kinda letting the natural hip movement flow while still walking like usual. My "hubby" thinks it is sexy, so who cares, right? *L* But I could SO relate to Kelly and her akward, clumsiness because that is SO me.
Ok... I have over-shared enough. But I enjoyed it all and getting to know the contestants. So carry on!*S*

I have to say, it has been a very long time since a show has pissed me off this badly.
I call BS, rigged, ABC sucks, the judges suck, etc...
I love to dance, but, I'm no expert. The flaws in K & A's freestyle routine were glaringly obvious, even to me. Not only did Kelly land with a serious thud, she also kicked Alec in the leg on one landing. You could almost hear his pant-leg rustle from the contact. When they climbed up on the platform to dance, they actually both stopped in an awkward manner. Sorry, I cannot buy that these things were intentional. From what I have read here, there were even more flubs in the routine. And 10's? Three of them designates perfection. K & A were not even close. Whether the judges were going along with the popular vote or not, it was just wrong and sends a poor message. Their job was to judge each performance and not cave to popular vote. So disappointing.
And count me among those who were pretty sick and tired of Kelly's "we worked so hard" spiel. EVERYONE WORKED HARD. And word to whomever mentioned that John O'H had to "lead" in most of the routines. Having the celebrity as the male partner put them a little at a disadvantage from jump. Kudos to JO'H, JM, and EH.
I enjoyed the show as a whole, but, the ending was a definite turn-off. Much as I despise reality genre shows, they almost had me sucked in. Too bad they blew it with the predictable and shallow ending. I guess youth and tight abs really do beat class and grace. Pity it wasn't more about dancing prowess.
I know ABC doesn't give a shit, but, I won't be tuning in for the next round.

Well, speaking for me, I enjoy villians/vixens the most. I think the people who hate her on GH are the more rabid Sonny/Carly fans (and some don't differentiate between fantasy and reality). But I always thought she was cool in her interviews and the like.
And I just want to join in on the Alex was hot train. The way he moved during the freestyle was wonderful! Loved it!
I wish most here would give this show another try. Like most things, the beginning is always rocky. Ah, well.

Some quick thoughts:
-- Yup BS. The Arcadia household was all in shock over the 3 10's. However, thank you for the insight that the judges gave J/C 3 9's so they kind of had to give K/A 10's. Although they took more risks, it was sloppy, awkward and a mess in my opinion. No way deserving of even one 10.
-- I'm kind of bummed I missed Alec in the pool! I was too much in shock to see Kelly in a full one piece bathing suit, I didn't pay attention to anything else.
-- Get rid of that host chick. I've only been watching the last few weeks but wow.. she's annoying.
(pssst... Miss Alli, you misspelled Joey's last name in your article. ;-) I loved the article by the way. (..from a fellow Minnesotan))

kittybidee, those are all excellent ideas for the show. Another idea I came up with is that since the pros are divided evenly genderwise, they should have the pros pair up for a performance (maybe one pair every two weeks) so the audience could see what two pros dancing together would look like without having to rent a ballroom dance movie or wait for PBS to throw us a bone. Obviously it wouldn't require as much rehearsal as the routines with the stars since the pros already have the technique and could pick up choreography in a snap, even though I personally would be content to see basic dances shown off to their fullest. Of course I'm suggesting this not knowing if there are any existing feuds or past affairs that would make the whole idea uncomfortable.
But on the assumption that they all get along, I would love to see Charlotte with Alec (blonde beauty with darker hottie), Ashly with Jonathan ('cause they're both so darn cute) and I guess that would leave Louis and Edyta.
Edited to add: DUH! I was perusing the ABC message boards and discovered that Alec and Edyta are dance partners (and also involved--lucky her) in real life. Oh well, I'd still like to see him do one short dance with Charlotte just because I think they'd look good together.

The whole show seemed thrown together. Like they started with the idea but didn't pay any attention to how it would all work. The hosts were horrible, and no one seemed to figure out how to make the segues smooth, it was this jumpy, awkward transition from interview with Tom, judge's reaction, interview with Lisa backstage, dancer's reaction to judge's reaction, scores. The "last dance" sequence was just painful. Have the couples prepare something for a last dance! They all just did the clutch and sway like in high school, or ran around hugging all the other dancers and ignored the dance altogether! Too talky, not enough dancing, either rehearsal segments or actual dancing. I enjoyed the little "what to look for" segments at the beginning and would like to see it expanded a little. On the whole the show was entertaining but it certainly needs some big improvements on the production side. It could be smoother, more interesting, more stylish.

they should have the pros pair up for a performance (maybe one pair every two weeks) so the audience could see what two pros dancing together would look like
Or at least have them do a 30 second review of some of the steps required for each style dance before we see the stars performances.
The Samba you are about to see should include at least one "A", one "B", and one "C" step.

is it hot in here, or is it just Alec?
Oh, honey, it is definitely Alec!! And he's not just fun to watch because of the exteme hotness, but his technical skills as a dancer are sheer joy. As we could see from both dances during the finale, Alec completes every move to the very tips of his fingers! As a dance teacher myself, I just loved seeing a man move the way he did without making the slightest ripple in his machismo persona on the dance floor.
Loved
Miss Alli's article!! Thanks for the link. She's in her usual snarkalicious form.
Didn't the finale's ending (hee!) seem very awkward? After announcing the (alleged) "winners", TPTB just seemed to leave the last few minutes up to Kelly & Alec to fill with hugging and milling around. (Well, of course, after dumping 4 tons of cheap gold confetti on Everyone!)
I'd REALLY love to see (on the next season) more of the practicing, background on contestants AND pros, and a few pro with pro performances. Oh, and in case no one else thought of this yet....please "can" Lisa Canning.
P.S.
Drummouse, THANKS big time for that reminder of the horrid alternatives! You are so right!! This is a light, fun, interesting, and wholesome hour to spend, especially compared to some of the other ugly dreck they are offering us nowadays.

On the dancefloor, it seems like his body simply takes over...and he's suxy
I know this wasn't meant as a compliment, but oh the places my mind wandered to. Much enjoyment for me!
Oh, no, you misunderstood me! Twas a compliment, definitely!
(edited to 'splain that sultry+sexy=suxy, as per Judge Len)

Did Patrick Swayze go to the same plastic surgeon as Joan Rivers?
I noticed that too! Patrick looked mighty stretched...
While I didn't like Kelly and Alec I do admit that Alec sure knows how to shake it...and for that I'd give him 10 but not for deer-caught-in-the-headlights Kelly/Rocky.

oh my - accidently tripped into the ABC Boards - scary place it is.
I think for the next season they need to allow for half points - last night K&A more deserved 9s and 9.5s, but like so many of you have said, J&C's 9s sort of left them with no wiggle room - yes, despite the mistakes. I personally think that freestyle was my fave dance they did - and you gotta give Kelly credit for not even reacting to being slammed down on her knees - now that's impressive!
I really hope this doesn't get bogged down in some ridiculous controversy about it being rigged. Honestly, with a show that is half determined by the audience, of course it's going to partly be a popularity contest. Most of don't know anything about the nitty gritty of ballroom dancing - I certainly don't. I always voted for the pair whose I had the most fun watching - and it was always either J&C or K&A. I was happy they were both in the finals, and would have been glad if either pair won.
