Despite the terrible scandals surrounding it and the fact that I feel terribly guilty about it, I just cannot get enough of Dog the Bounty Hunter. And not because of Dog himself, or at least not exactly. I don't care in the slightest about rehabilitating criminals, and I know that they're probably causing the Honolulu Police Department no end of problems. I watch because I can't get enough of all the little moments in which everyone else is clearly thinking that Dog's newest plan/speech/idea/motivator is either dumb or insane.
I could watch hours of Leland or Duane Lee rolling their eyes in the background, Leland's pained answers whenever he is called upon to calculate someone's age based on their date of birth, Beth telling Dog that his plan is stupid and watching him squirm when it turns out that, in fact, his plan was stupid. Duane Lee's utter glee while making comments about his father in a talking head. And the finest moment of all, that time when Dog went on a talking head rant about how he was in a criminal's head now, and that based on the criminal's bond application, he knew they were dealing with a smart criminal that was going to test the team's resolve, and Leland finally piped up to say that he had filled out the application for the criminal because the criminal couldn't read.
Comedy gold.

It's actually a lot of fun and the relationship between Dog and Beth is very sweet, and her flotation devices are a constant source of potential comedy for the viewer.

I may regret this but... what do you mean by flotation devices, TudorQueen?

Beth is very well endowed. She's a curvy, curvy lady. I'll watch "Dog the Bounty Hunter" on occasion, when I need a trash fix.

This season I've been watching Fringe and Life on Mars. I'm not really sold on either show (I much preferred the original LoM), but both shows shoot in NYC, where I've lived most of my life, and I like trying to figure out where they are shooting. I like seeing parts of NYC shot that aren't usually focused on in the "glamorous" NYC shows (Sex and the City, Gossip Girl, Bravo reality shows). Life on Mars especially tends to show places I recognize. I also flip on to the Law and Order shows for that reason, despite my lack of interest in the actual cases.
