It's about time Erin was fired. Trying to flirt with Trump can only take you so far, and he goes home to Melania anyways, so he's bound to get tired of Erin in an hour or so.
I'm surprised Craig did so well, and by himself. Chris stayed relatively cool. It was almost a "Bizarro Apprentice."

Damn you, 8.30 start time. Can we get a quick review of the tasks?
Best reward ever. Loved Bren doing the "Worm".
"One minute to save your life, Chris. One minute." Hah! Poke that crazy with a pointy stick. God, these people have no read on Trump, completely not taking them seriously.
"Hey, sir" Yeah, not so much. Geez, seems like Trump just did not really care who got fired. Ahh, sorry to see Erin go. I'm even more sorry we ever saw the pink bathmat of death.
Yup. That's the Erin I love in the taxi. Hee!!

Erin needed to go as soon as possible, and doubly so after her poignant and accurate statement about being a beauty queen and knowing about crowns but not crown molding. She brings up Chris's tobacco addiction simply to make him look bad, and then calls Chris unprofessional? Ugh. At least George and Carolyn have a bit of sense and spoke out to keep Angie. She definitely didn't deserve to go over the other three.
And geez, Trump, get OVER the tobacco! People are genuinely bad workers, and you're harping on that?
Ha, Erin's firing was the most delicious thing since...well, since Jen didn't win A2. None of the other firings have really rated "delicious" so far.
Carolyn still rocks so hard, and George does too. I don't blame Donald for firing Erin after her comment. What else does she think George and Carolyn are there for? Looks??
MUCH love for Craig and "The Box". I thought early on that it was a good idea, if only people were creative enough, and they were. Glad the rest of Magna eventually came on board. Better late than never, I guess. Tana is awesome at selling, isn't she? Man.
Ah, I now need to go savor the sweet Erin-being-fired induced euphoria.
Raise your hand if you had horrid flashbacks of Ivana when Erin said Chris needed "adult supervision".

Damn, does Erin sneak out of the suite every night and give Trump hummers? His nose was definitely wide open for her.
Can anybody tell me what the statement was that Erin said causing her firing?
Each and every one of Magna were condescending, patronizing and unfair to Craig. I don’t know what that was about, but it appeared they were not about to listen to him nor take him seriously from the get go.
He rocked for having the fortitude to pull them out of their backslide and on board. I never thought he showed much before, but he certainly was extremely impressive and foresighted in this.
I wonder if Craig and Tana are going to have “make-up, make out” sessions in their room.
The box actually was damn cool in its conception for use and simplicity for the seminar.
Finally, I guess I won’t ever understand the segment of society that feels Erin is Attractive.

Erin: "Everything I say in the boardroom is poignant." "He can't 'articulate himself'" WTF?? She must've failed freshman English or something. Erin was such a bitch tonight, I was SO hoping she would get the boot. And what was up with that winking crap?? Whew! Trumpy surprised me tonight, thank God. Clearly, though, Angie and Chris have no hope for the future.

Do you think Chris realizes that he can’t possibly win?

Wow, talk about putting the last nail into your own coffin! If Erin had just kept her mouth shut, Chris would have been fired. And it's funny - she's really the most articulate of all the Apprenti, which is refreshing, and though I won't miss her hair, I will miss her succinctness.
Loved the snarky Carolyn in this episode - no wonder her face is so thin, she gets a real workout with her frowns and eye-rolls and other excellent facial expressions.

Erin should’ve been fired just because she was under the mistaken impression that everything she said in the boardroom was “poignant”. Carolyn doesn’t think you’re so poignant, you dumbass. I loved Carolyn’s expressions in the boardroom. I love it when she can’t quite contain her utter disdain. And yay! George for defending Angie. Although, she should’ve stuck with the crown molding idea. I think that would’ve been better with what they ended up with.
Trump scared me there for a minute. If he had fired Angie, after telling her to just keep quiet, and fired her because he had some boner for Erin and her “presentation” skills, I was going to have to get pissed. Thank goodness he didn’t. Probably just Trump being Trump, but it was stupid.
Enough with the tobacco already! Sheesh!
Erin also should’ve been fired for not knowing what crown molding is. Idiot.
Awww, I’m glad Magna won. I felt bad for Craig making his little box all by himself. I wasn’t sure the box was a great idea until I saw the other team’s “kitchen island” idea. That was stupid. And I applaud Kendra for having the self-awareness to say that Craig was probably the only one who deserved the award, since the rest of the team’s attitude sucked. But, man, Craig really needs to learn how to communicate his thoughts. I thought I was bad, but he’s just atrocious. I still liked him, though, he’s just so earnest. And their show rocked.
Erin also should’ve been fired for constantly winking at Trump in the boardroom. Putz.
I think I really like just about everyone left, with the possible exceptions of Stephanie and Chris. Definitely a departure from last year, although I loved Jennifer to the bitter end. I’m still not sure why.
Erin also should’ve been fired because her hair is just out of control. I’m so glad she was fired.

That was so beautiful!
I thought for sure he was going to whack Angie or maybe Chris but Erin shot her mouth off one too many times.
Craig, take a communications course or three.
Did anyone else catch Erin giving the cleavage shot when she pushed herself away from the table to leave in the boardroom when they got excused to the waiting room?
And it looked like she was going to go back and say something to trump after she got fired didn’t it?
At last Donald caught on that the fluff (not fluffer) should get the axe.
Oh and the usual name for zero G parabolic flights is "The Vomit Comet". I wonder if any of them booted.

Lame, lame, lame task. So boring and it seemed over so (mercifully) fast.
Lame, lame, lame reward. Gimme a nice meal at a NYC restaurant and I’m happy.
What’s with Trumpy chit-chatting the HD execs, THEN asking their names? That just seemed so odd to me.
I love how the extent of “marketing and promotion” for these yutzes is handing out fliers. Oh, and having Erin talk about how sexy it is to build your own island. Not that there’s much else you could have done. But stop calling it marketing and promotion! Call it handing out fliers.
Wow, Angie called her adopted children morons?? And “hated” everyone? Can’t say’s I blamed her, but it just seemed to come out of nowhere. (Yes, I actually bought all the hugs and kisses upon Erin and Chris’s return.) I think Craig’s box succeeded because of the warm fuzzies and, of course, Net Worth’s unmitigated incompetence. I feel bad for Angie. I love her for saying “me?” when Trumpy asked her who was going upstairs!
Wow, did the editing tide turn on Erin. “As a former beauty queen, I know what a crown is….” The excessive gum chewing and mouth-wiggling, the return of the toilet-tank cover. And she knows about the corporate structure of Home Depot? My. Ass. So so happy the freaking winking did her in. How professional. Can’t believe she brought up the tobacco. Bitch. Poking Chris was too easy, and Trump was being mean. Hope your stay in Sequesterville is poignant and accurate. Plus, were her quips all that original and funny? Not to me. See ya.
Did both of these demonstrations seem very “inside the box”? I was expecting some kind of added-value promotion. Participate in the workshop and get 10 percent off materials or something? I guess since the judging was subjective they didn’t need to sell. Still, seemed pretty boring.
Good for Kendra saying they didn’t deserve the reward for their attitude. Still liking her. And Tana is very good with children. Apprentice material? Eh.
Floating Bren freaked me out! And raise your hand if you’re getting tired of his quips. Thinking outside the box. Yawn.
Alex has taxicab ears.

God, how smug was Erin going into that boardroom? What an asshat. Not only was she canned, she was humiliated.
And her, "That's hot/that's sexy" schpiel to the guys at Home Depot?
"Fluffer" now seems totally acurate.
She was a whiny, back stabbing, catty twit and I'm so glad she got canned.
But, still, none of these people have yet to really do something "Apprentice" worthy. No amazing decisions, no amazing creativity, no amazing plans...they're all painfully adequate at best.

After Trump stated that Carolyn and George both thought that Erin was terrible, he made this comment "...and I have to listen to them", to which the overconfident Erin replied

(Then Carolyn said THAT WAS A DUMB STATEMENT...and TRUMP said the magic words to Erin)

Too bad Bren beat me to the punch(line). I was all ready with:
Tana: Everyone has a box.
Craig: I don't have a box.
Squidgie: Guys, you have to think OUTSIDE the box!
Erin's fatal comment in the boardroom was in response to DT saying that George and Carolyn said he couldn't fire Angie, and he had to listen to them. She asked him, "Do you have to?" and gave him another wink (blech).

Craig got away with it when he brought up Audrey's home life, which had
nothing to do with the topic at hand. Seeing Erin get eviscerated for it when Craig didn't made me all kinds of angry.
However, she went way, way, way too far over the line trying to slip inbetween Trump and his cronies and it was obvious she realized that as soon as Trump gave her the Firing Fingergun. What was that little thing she did when it almost looked like she was going back in the boardroom? It would have been hilarious if she'd actually tried to plead her case again.
Ah, well. I actually liked you Erin. Too bad you took it too far.

Best episode since season 1!!!!
Loved Craig with the box - actually got teary when it started going well for him (yes I'm pregnant and on high hormones)
Loved that Kendra during the reward admitted that the only one on their team that deserved the reward was Craig.
Erin in the boardroom thinking she was such hotshit that she could say anything and follow it up with a flirtatous wink and that made it okay.
Loved, loved, loved Carolyn calling Erin on the bullshit with Chris' tobacco chewing!
Really loved that Carolyn and George stood up for Angie and could have knocked me over with a feather when Trump actually kept Angie because they went to bat for her.
Best firing in a really long time! Erin "do you have to?" (wink) Trump "Your fired"

Heh...it was the final battle between George & Carolyn vs. Trump's penis...and the viceories pulled it off. So to speak. Seriously, if Angie had to walk the plank and those two nutters got to stay, blood would have flowed.
Chris...he's Mark Burnett's wet dream; a man who will lunge for The Donald's throat once he's fired. I know that there are probably twenty dudes behind the camera that could kill Jerry Springer's bouncers, but it would be a sight. And with NBC hyping the show next week, looks like it'll be a given. BTW...thanks for showing us who joins Net Worth next week.
Craig...I think Bren has a point about the connection between Criaig's mouth and brain. If Magna fucked up, Craig would have be fired for waiting too long to PM. But he pulls it off, Networth imploded, and Craig's the hero. Nicely done.
Tana...she got a worker to shimmy. Love her.
Reward...best ever. I figure that people would get sick going that fast, but I didn't see that happen. Bren was cute doing the worm.
Erin...thank goodness she's gone. Now...if only she'll get a tongue bath from Gene Simmons. Hated her.

After viewing that CRAZY episode, I have a few joyous comments:
1. Ding Dong, the wicked witch is DEAD!!!!!! YAAAAAAY!!!!! I knew that Elmo was gonna get the axe. So much for her being in the final 2.....that will be Kendra and Tana!!!
2. For those of you who wanted to know, the famous statement that got Elmo fired was her saying "Well, do you HAVE to listen to George and Carolyn?" in response to Trump disagreeing with them about Angie, but going ahead and conferring with them.
3. Props to Trump, George and Carolyn for laying the triple smackdown! Oh yeah!!
4. Chris is a ticking time bomb. Brandy on ANTM 4 has nothing on this guy. He was really shouting at The Donald, Carolyn, and George. He is not long meant for the Apprentice world...too much of a liability. Although he did hold his own in defending himself with Erin.
5. Although I like him a lot, I felt bad for Craig. Alex, Bren, and Kendra condescendingly wrote the poor guy off, particularly the former two moreso than the latter. Way to go Craig for having your idea come to life!! The Box.....coming to a Home Depot near you on April 2, 2005. Go Craig!!

I lurvvve Angie for saying, "Paris Hilton would've been much better than Erin on this task." BWAH!

Mar 24, 2005 @ 9:43 pm
I don't think that all of Magna is made up of smug, condescending people. Based on past tasks, Craig seems difficult to understand and relate to. He really wasn't doing a great job of speaking TO the team, instead of expecting them to just do what he wanted. Which is somewhat annoying, since he criticized Tara for the same thing.
I wasn't crazy about his idea. I think Magna finally growing the fuck up and doing that fantastic presentation is what helped them win. Tana was wonderful in that presentation, and she seems to be moving up every week. Did Tana have a new wardrobe this week? I didn't recognize any of those clothes. She seemed MUCH less "goofy" and gormy. Did anyone else get that sense?
The first half of the episode was extremely difficult to get through. Everyone was so morose and unhappy. I thought there was some unseen footage of Kristen rampaging through the suite with a bazooka, looking for Audrey, and then pistol-whipping the lot of them when they told her Audrey was hiding away in her sequester room, mouth-reading Highlights Magazine. There also seemed to be new background music for the earlier scenes.
A few things about Alex I noticed tonight:
a) He isn't very funny or clever, which is fine, but someone along the way told him he was funny and clever. When you practically have to use a pie chart to make an analogy? Not clever.
b) He and Bren are very juvenile together and they are a task loss waiting to happen.
c) HE HAS NO ASS.
d) He looked really sexy when he was speaking fluent Spanish. An unfunny, assless man who can actually speak a foreign language without sounding like he's Hooked On Phonics? Impressive and hot.
I'm glad George and Carolyn stuck up for Angie. She did her best with a worthless and unstable team. Trump clearly wanted her gone because she wasn't Erin. He was itching to fire her. Then he was going to fire Chris, until Erin stepped in her own mouth.
There must have been so much we didn't see regarding Erin's past behavior, because the viceroys clearly LOATHED her. Carolyn has never been so openly contemptuous of anyone. She hated her so much that she saved Chris, in spite of Chris yelling at her last week. I think that the viceroys respect Chris on some level because they know what it's like to work for a difficult boss, and they think perhaps Chris can mature someday. They just wanted Erin gone, because she had become a pollutant.
Finally -- what was with the Home Depot ad for the box?? I thought that was an SNL parody. I started laughing, I said, "SNL hasn't been this funny in years!". Then I realized it was real. Oops. I guess Home Depot thinks everyone will go out and buy whatever Kendra recommends...?

I haven't needed a cigarette after a boardroom this bad since Ivana got roasted. Erin is really pathetic. How can someone be so out-of-it, that they have no idea anything about Home Depot. Not even about Home Depot, but Jesus, she "ew"'d at a perfectly clean toilet seat? What the fuck, where does she think they come from? What does she do in the bathroom? And she winked twice in the boardroom. You could just tell George and Caroline were basically pleading that Trump not pass over Erin to fire Angie. Buh-bye, Erin! Don't let the elevator door snag your muppet ass on the way out!
Judging from the previews, looks like Chris is nicking BIG TIME to blow up like that. Poor guy, they're just trying to send him over the edge.
Best remark was Alex's extended metaphor re: Erin and...whats-her-name are space cadets, planted firmly in the gravity of their situation, meanwhile they're experiencing zero G, etc etc. Who knew he was biligual?
Craig is awesome. Too bad he had to deal with such a shitty team in the beginning. They should all kiss his feet for that kick-ass reward. Whatta man!

What I find nearly as infuriating as Erin's inexplicable idea that her comments are poignant (I thought maybe I'd misheard and she'd said "pointed", but evidently I was right the first time) is her idea that not knowing anything about diy home improvement meant she could check out on the brainstorming. First off, she must live somewhere, so she clearly has some knowlege of what people would like to be able to do with their living spaces. Secondly, seminars at Home Depot aren't exactly geared toward people who already know how to do these things. They're geared toward people who want to do this stuff but don't know how.

And what does Chris's tobbaco chewing have to do with anything? Its gross sure, but you should be judging employees on what they do at work, not what they do on their spare time. (wait, did I just suggest something that makes sense in a work environment for TA? Silly me). Chris was right was saying that his addiction has nothing to do with his being a good apprentice. I think his anger management and random outbursts will do him in. Trump is probably afraid to tell him the REAL reason he will be fired because Chris might just stalk him and kill Trump in his sleep in a fit of rage.
And winking at your boss is also incredibly unprofessional, you self important beauty "queen"

Geez, I didn't think that Erin was so bad until tonight. I was surprised she didn't break out with "Math is hard!" and "Don't ask me, I'm just a girl!" And on and on about the tobacco use, which clearly is a button for Trump. As long as he's discreet about it, GET OVER IT.

That was satisfying...for all of Erin's flirting, winking, lip-pursing and other strange little ticks, Trump shocked me and ditched the sultry lawyer/TV personality, and not a moment too soon, because she wore on the only nerve I have left these days throughout the episode. She behaved like Michael, without the threats of violence, and I could have done without her beauty queen line...Just another Erin-ism that fell flat. And her word of the week was poignant, instead of pertinent. She is dangerous though, as shown by her mixing it up with Chris and pulling Trump into the fray. Thankfully, Carolyn and her bs detector were on duty tonight.
Meanwhile, Magna behaved like a bunch of brats. Why is it that no one can ever come up with a viable alternative to an unpopular idea? And why do project managers act like their ideas must be used, especially when met with so much opposition. At least they managed to pull together for the performance, but this is a pattern with this team-- discord throughout preparation, and pulling it together in the end. It also helps that their opponents tend to suck often.
Loved Carolyn snarking at Erin just before she got the boot. Also, Alex uses the word dude much too much.

Ding Dong, Erin's Gone!!!!!!
God, I hated her. If she'd been a character in a book or a movie written by a a man, instead of a real person, I would have said whoever created her was sexist pig.
I also thought Trump gave Angie way more crap than she deserved. I agreed with Carolyn and George that she was a good leader. I can certainly see her in the final four, whereas there's no way Stephanie, Chris, or Alex is making it. They're definetly the new Dead Apprentices Walking(hattip to whoever first came up with that term).
Also, for once, the reward looked awesome and was the best part of the show, other than watching Erin get fired, of course.

Chris is probably goin' down. I believe Trump is going to hold him to that No Chaw pledge Chris made in the boardroom. Chris will either...
1) Give it up, and go completely insane from the addiction 0_o and blow up (like the previews show) and snap people's necks for looking at him.
2) Chew it again and George or Carolyn or the all seeing eyes of the cameras catch him and Trump automatically fires him for it. Heck, maybe his own teammates will rat him out for it?
