I'd be happy to take a look, Babs, if you'd like - can you get my email from my profile?

Awesomeness RedFlora! Do you need Part I and Part II also, or just Part III, which I just emailed...

Jun 2, 2005 @ 8:15 am
Cool - it came through just fine, and I will get feedback to you ASAP. If I can't get to Parts I and II through the links here then I'll email you... I'm totally excited now for my lunch break! Later!
Meaning, of course, that I'll be reading this all through my morning meeting, and sending a response by my lunch break. Thanks for helping me stay awake!

I must say I love all this fanfic! I have never gotten so into a TV show that I even knew there was such a thing as fanfic. But Veronica is no ordinary girl. And some of these stories BLOW ME AWAY, they are so wonderful.
Would it be too much to ask people to run their stories through a basic grammar check? Every time I read a "her and her dad" or "him and Logan" or "me and Duncan" or "I did good" or "'to' instead of 'too'" I want to scream. These are wonderful stories written by very talented writers. But the poor grammar and spelling takes away from some AMAZING work.
Some of these stories are so well written that they should be published in a "Veronica Mars Collection". I think I'll suggest it to Rob at his website.

For all you fabulous writers: I'd still stalk these boards and every other place and check obsessively for updates and new chapters even without the rampant sadistic cliffhangers. Give a girl a break, let me finish one installment without screaming "noooo, what's next!??!" Cause really, my blood pressure?, it's not suppose to be this high at my age.

Please restrain yourself. Fan fiction is a notoriously gray area of copyright - white enough to not be regularly bombarded with Cease & Desist letters and by being somewhat accepted/ignored by most copyright holders and black enough for some copyright holders to get every fanfic in public site removed.
Add to this that there has been at least one case where a fanfiction writer sued the copyright holder and then realize that the golden rule of fanfiction is "don't show the copyright holders/creators/actors fanfiction."
Seriously. Ask Blake 7 fandom. Ask what is left of the Anne Rice fanfiction community. Just don't.

Just don't.
Okay, I won't. But it's just sad that such great stuff is limited to those of us who read TWOP. I tried to navigate LiveJournal on my own and just ended up frustrated. So I'll just encourage everyone to link to their masterpieces so we can be amazed and entertained for the summer.

skk670, if you get frustrated navigating livejournal, just try bookmarking this link:
http://www.livejournal.com/community/veronicamarsfic/Many people who write VM fic post it there, and that's the page where all the most recent stories will go. That might be helpful for you, and many of the TWoPpers who post fanfic, post to that community.

Could anyone told me who wrote the veronica mars stories in television script format. Its the one were in one episode a psycho true crime wanna be fiction writer steals Logan's belongings and plants them in Veronica's car ( after he is presumed dead). I really liked them, and can't remember who wrote them.

Okay someone needs to write more fic, like now. I had to read Smallville fic today, I haven't done that in like a year. It's not cool. Please entertain me now. I think I've lost the ability to read actual books.

ITA, WickedRipePlum. Today has been a really slow fic day. I've got dozens of books sitting on my shelf, waiting patiently to be read, and what am I doing? Trolling for VM fanfic. It's pathetic.
I need something, preferably V/L that is angsty, hot and sweet (the V/L trifecta) to cleanse my palate and help me forget things I've read tonight.

Jun 3, 2005 @ 1:02 am
Well, it's short and nonsteamy, but I just posted the final chapter to my series. I hope it takes the edge off:
Chapter 14I'll write some more stand-alone fic tomorrow. If anyone has any requests, holler at me.
DebraAnne
Jun 3, 2005 @ 1:21 am
Thank you, thank you, thank you, sadie kate, for your wonderful series. It was entertaining, well written, and had hot, smutty scenes. One teensy complaint - no more dark water scenes at night. Ever. Way to tap into my biggest fear, dead bodies and sharks. ACK! Every other part was great.
Have you thought about writing a companion piece about Duncan or Wallace (with plenty of L/V)? I like Duncan more in your story than in the television series.
sadie kate
Jun 3, 2005 @ 12:28 pm
Aww, thanks DebraAnne. It was a lot of fun to write.
I think after all the romancey stuff I've been writing, I may try my hand at a non-romantic piece, and either of those characters would be a fitting star.

JenJenL, this is hilarious. And I'm with you on the mood swings. I saw your original post, then just came back after everything calmed down over in other threads, and saw your edit. What a roller coaster day, huh? Thank goodness for fanfic to help balance things out!
I should also add that while I haven't posted before in this thread, I've been eating up all the fanfiction and am loving all of it! Thanks to all you amazing writers for helping with the withdrawal symptoms!

Sadie Kate is my muse! And I stole your shoulder bite and gave it to Lilly.
JenJenL As for angst-o-meter, no one dies, no one is mortally wounded, it's just dark and explores the relationship between pleasure and pain, which could sum up Logan and Veronica on a lot of levels.

I am having a problem with LiveJournal. A lot of the stories say "Chapter 2" or "Chapter 5", etc. How do I get to the previous chapters? Some of the authors have been kind enough to put a link in the new chapter that goes back to the previous chapters. But other authors do not. I've tried clicking on the author's name but it just takes me to an info page.
Help!
Quick Like Cat
Jun 5, 2005 @ 7:11 pm
skk670, past chapters can be found, but it can be a little tricky. Here are some ways:
1. Click on the 'veronicamarsfic' community name (I am assuming that is where you read the stories), and it will take you to the community. At the top, in about the center, is a link that says 'Memories.' Clicking that will take you to the memories section, where the fiction your author writes may or may not be listed under author name. They've got a lot of the constant writers, but I'm not sure it's been updated in a while.
2. Or, on the veronicamarsfic community, click on the author's name next to the story you like. Now you're trying to find the author's individual memories section. Some people have crazy layouts that make it difficult to find the memories link, but if you type into the address bar "www.livejournal.com/users/[usernamehere]/memories" that person's memories will show up. They may or may not show the fiction they have written.
3. Once again on the veronicamarsfic community, you could always go to the main page with 20 entries each, and do control+F searching for the author's name. You can keep on going back in time/entries, and keep on doing control+F until you find what you need.
All of these can be a little time consuming. I'm so appreciative of the authors that link to past stuff.

peregrine, that was awesome as always. I loved it! But I am so nervous now about what will happen next. I can't wait to read more.

I agree about 40 miles from the sun. I might have to postpone reading part four until part five comes out. The ending was great. I wish there was a way to bribe authors to write faster- faster faster!

Naked pictures of jason Dohring? I know that if I were a VM fanfic writer (still finishing,
