Chapter 6 - Walking on Water

Awesome chapter Sophia...I love the way you set up the messges, and Veronica continuing to grow weaker with each one!

And I wanted to add; txfem74, you have some AMAZING stuff going on there. I figured I'd take 5 minutes last night to check it out, and then ended up spending nearly 2 hours reading, and re-reading every last part. I love how you actually are going to let Logan interact with Aaron, which I'm sure will be impossible, as no one else has really addressed that issue. I was sooo impressed with the way the story flowed, and how Logan's emotional progress seems so real! Keep up the good work, and do it fast, I'm DYING to know what happens!

ethereal65, I really enjoyed your stuff. Is it over? :( There is still so much more of the story to be told...

Guys, I have to do a major gush about theohara's season-two-script-fics. They are AMAZING. Incredible, I can see every moment play out on screen. And the author OWNS the show. This is "Veronica Mars". If Season 2 of VM is HALF as good as the episodes of this fic, I would roll over and die gurgling little moans of pleasure. Best. Writing. Ever. ABSOLUTELY 110% the show. This is totally Rob Thomas writing. No doubt. theohara is even actually thinking like a TV producer/writer - using the actors (even if they're not "there"), giving Weevil his one or two scenes per week (of glory), using Jason Dohring even if Logan's supposed to be dead, not doing any flashbacks further than the actors could do.....AMAZING. Even the first fic, the S2 premiere, is read like the episode bringing new viewers up to speed, a little bit o' exposition, a lot o' style.

This fic is breaking my heart and getting more impressive by the "week". It's also just like the show, not really pandering to a fandom, even LoVe, just dead pitch-perfect. The opening scene int he third episode totally blew me away. Incredibly hot and then incredibly powerful. I can easily see this all up on screen, and I'm even more blown away picturing it. I'm mentally gawking at my TV. So cool, so good. READ!!!And my only teensy complaint is even real to TV, and the show - the VMVOs were a little too abundant in the "premiere"...just as they are on the show's pilot! And then they settled down and got even better in subsequent "episodes"...The flashbacks are also great.


Guys...I'm totally hooked on a show that is the show, only...not. Freakin' fantastic. Go read, all of you!!!

Sophia Bee, there are no words to describe just how unbelievably amazing that last chapter was. Just...wow. You're totally breaking my heart, but in a good way. I can't wait to see where this goes.

I completely agree with the above statement. I ususally don't care for script like fics but this series has completely changed my mind on it. Plus, the characters seem right on. I think these might be my favourite VM fics ever. AWESOME.

I originally did not plan to read it b/c it was in script format. But, man, it really has been amazing.

My favorite fanfics are sadie kate's "The Prodigal Daughter"; txfem74's "Rebuild a Life" and the Veronica viewpoint series; sophia bee's "P.I. to the Stars" series and theohara's season two series.

There is also a good one called "40 miles from the sun" set after WoCD. the author says she (he?) has chap 2 and most of 3 written, I say post 'em already :)

You know, I was just thinking today that Marisol was the name of that girl. I forgot about it at the time - I have a good friend IRL named Marisol, and I named the character after her. She likes to date bikers, so it seemed appropriate.

Sadie Kate, it is ok to have her named that, I didn't want you to feel bad. More than one Mari in Neptune doesn't seem weird. Plus, I can't imagine how hard it is to have to keep all that straight. I read a fic today about V moving and she was remembering Lilly in her apt, but Lilly was never in her apt. That kind of thing must be really hard, the details, when you just want to tell your story and get to the good part.

All this talk of leaning is reminding me of MSCL, and Jared-Leto-Jordan-Catalona's habit of leaning. And the other characters' habit of commenting on his leaning.

Ahhhhh! Love sadie kate, love Sophia Bee, loooove theohara's S2 scripts. This thread is my life. Everyone's writing here is AMAZING. Don't know how I'd make it through the summer break without this thread.

Add me to the chorus. I have never been a fan of "fan fiction" in the past, but with all the praise here for the ongoing sagas by sadie kate, Sophia Bee, and the amazing S2 scripts by theohara, I was curious to check them out, and they are all truly excellent.

Thanks to those wonderful writers for being so true to the characters, and thanks to everyone on the board for their recs and pointing me in the direction of those fabulous fics.
