I'm trying to find one where Veronica, Logan and Weevil are all working together to try and find Felix's murderer. It's not actually about solving the mystery, but more about the dynamics between the three of them. The only detail I can really remember is that Veronica forces Weevil to get a Sidekick and ends up getting him a pink one.

All this talk of room mates fic reminded me of one i read a little while ago. I think it may have been called Sand; Logan and Veronica shared a house on the beach, and Logan thought that when he asked her to move in, he never thought she'd do housework, but she did, often sweeping out the sand. He also remembered that he used to bring women home, but somehow stopped doing that. It ended with the two of them sitting on the beach talking, moving towards a kiss without actually getting there. Anyone know what I mean?

Ok this is going to be pretty vague but it's all I can remember.

AU. Lilly was not dead. Veronica was raped at Shelly's party by Duncan. All of them knew this but chose not to talk about it. Everyone was playing spin-the-bottle and Lilly was trying to humiliate Veronica with her questions. Logan and Veronica had a talk by the poolside or the garden(I think). Sorry that is all I can remember.

bfragrant, I don't think it's the same (because Veronica wasn't raped) but that sort of reminds me of It Was Fated (Ch. 2-3 has the spin-the-bottle scene and L/V talking outside). Sadly, that fic will probably go unfinished.

holly thanks for the link but that isn't it. The story I read was on lj (veronicamarsfic maybe?) (definitely) and was complete. It had very few chapters or was a one-shot.

PS Why do you think it won't get finished? If you are sure I won't bother reading it, I hate not knowing the ending :)

It might get finished, but there was a months-long gap before the most recent chapter, and that was in March, so it's been months again. So I suppose it's possible that it will get finished, especially since I thought it was abandoned before March and then she posted again. But either way, I would still read it. It doesn't leave off horribly. No one's life is in jeopardy, there's not big mystery unanswered. L/V are fairly solid (though they are sort of in the middle of a fight, but it seems like they're solid enough that it will be okay). Anyway, I know how annoying not knowing the ending is, but it's a fic I really enjoy (the writing isn't the greatest ever, but the storyline is good and different from other stuff out there and the characterization is good) and don't mind rereading even if it never finishes. Things are okay enough that it's easy for me to imagine an ending.

All I remember is that Duncan is there too and Logan is mocking Veronica about her love life and she tells him that her 'lover' died, they were having an affair he was a reporter and they bonded in foreign countries over bourbon.

A friend of mine was talking about the movie She's the Man today and I remembered reading a LoVe story that was based on it. I know it took place after Ain't No Mountain High Enough and Veronica got stuck working a kissing booth. Anybody know anything about it?

Wow. It's taken me about 2 weeks to read all 232 pages of this thread, and save about 1000+ fics I plan to read in the next little while. I haven't even made a dent yet! A few have stuck out in my mind so far tho (I don't have the links to hand): a futurefic where Logan, veronica and Duncan meet up for the first time in 9 years when a film is about to be made about Lilly's murder, a House/VM crossover, a Breakfast Club/VM crossover, one where Veronica runs into Logan in the drugstore and she patches him up after one of Aaron's beatings, a futurefic where Duncan is trying to get Logan and Veronica together (Logan's a recovering alcoholic in this one, and I didn't think this was a theme I'd go for but the story is SO well written)...

It's lucky winter is nearly upon us (it is here in Scotland, anyways), as it doesn't look like I'll be going outsie for quite some time!

There is or was I'm not sure, they were posted Veronica Mars Fic, the summer between seasons one and two I believe. It was a series of two AU stories Prism and Violet World, Lilly is the one that lives in Violet World and I think in Prism Mrs. Echolls might be the first one to die?

Does anyone have a link to a WeeVer fic in which Veronica sleeps with Weevil, and then tells him about what happened at Shelley Pomeroy's party? Weevil then punches his fist through Veronica's door or wall, and then vows to help her find out who did it. I cannot seem to find it anywhere.
