At the moment I love reading pre-series L/V fics, especially with Lilly not dying. Does anyone have some recs for me?

marih, one I really like is Forbidden Itch by gertinator (pre-series, NC-17).

Is something going on with Livejournal?? There have been no VM fanfic updates since last wednesday? That doesn't seem right...

I was wondering the same thing.

The lj community is on moderated status, which means when people post a fic it goes into a queue and has to be approved by a moderator (for format, etc.) before it actually gets posted. So either nothing's been posted (unlikely), or the moderators have been busy or not around.

I'm going to have to ask for help again because I think my bookmarking has failed me.

I am looking for a pre-series fic about Lilly and V on the Pep Squad where V unexpectedly has to take her position on the top of the pyramid and falls down and breaks her arm...Logan goes with her to the hospital.

Also I am looking for a rec list that I was really enjoying. It was separated into I think 3 pages by season and each season was divided by episode with picture banners made for each episode. I think the person keeping the list turned against VM in season 3 so I am sure it hasn't been kept up to date, but there were a lot of fics there that I wanted to try out.

Does anyone have a good system for organizing their fav fics and those they have heard recced but have not had a chance to read yet??

I was wondering, holly96, if there was a reason fics have to be approved before getting posted all of the sudden. I mean, as far as I can remember this hasn't happened before with this community. Was there an excessive amount of rule breaking or something?

Just an FYI, veronicamarsfic just got updated with a slew of fic.

It's been on moderated status for quite a while now, at least a few months, if not longer. It's nothing new. I think they do it so they have better control of fics that break format rules, or are posted without an ljcut, etc. And, as KeyserSoze says, a bunch of new fics just got posted. There's also a mod post that explains things.

I have a request for season 2 summer fic that have a good explanation for how L/V got back together. I love Molasses and Taffy and I love fics that have some emotion and some length to them.

Any and all suggestions welcome, even AU where they don't break up again in favor of Duncan, but my favorite is good explanations of things left out of canon

I had a thought....has anyone written or read a fic where towards the end of Driver Ed 2x02, instead of Veronica going to sleep with Duncan she goes to either a) find Logan, b) sleep with Logan, or C) break up whith Duncan or d) all of the above.

jen I know I've read one where she slept with Logan AFTER she slept with Duncan (I can't remember the name right now but it was really good!) I don't remember seeing any where she didn't sleep with him at all though. If you happen to find one I hope you'll post a link!

Does anyone remember the title of the fic where it documented Veronica and Logan on the various anniversaries of Lilly's death? Like, one is where he crawls through her window and just lies on her bed and they cry together or something like that or when he's on the steps to her apartment drunk, if that helps. The author is really talented and I wanted to find the rest of her work.

It is a future fic set while Veronica and Logan are roommates. Supposedly a no romance roommate situation that apparently ends as LoVe. I don't remember much, but from what I remember, it was possibly a 2 part (maybe just b/c LJ has issues with long posts, which is stupid) story and the writing was good. I have started to read many stories that had bad writing and had to stop, but this one was actually good writing. That is why it sticks in my mind. So, if you know where I can find this story OR... if the story is yours, TELL ME WHERE TO FIND IT!!!!

There are quite a few futurefic where Logan and V are roommates. I think I know the one holly96 is referring to, so I'll see if I can find it. I myself would love to read it again.

I'm looking for a fanfic in which Veronica finds out she is pregnant (with Logan's baby) and she doesn't want the baby, but, Logan does, and they have Cliff draw up an agreement that Veronica will have the baby and give the baby to Logan - which she does, and then she is sad and runs into Logan and the baby buying diapers or formula or something. If anybody knows the link, I would so much appreciate it. It was really good and I wanted to read it again and now I cannot find it!

gretchenfaith, the fic you are after is Wreck of the Day by lit_chick08. It's my favourite baby fic. It's hard to write VM fic with this plot point, but I think lit_chick08 did an amazing job with the characterization.

sushio and katjs11, I asked about that missing roommate fic at another board and someone found it for me. It is Pinwheel. katjs11, hopefully that is the one you were remembering.

Also, if you want recs, you should check out vm_fic, a community for recommending good fics. They have posts dedicated to various characters, relationships, topics, etc. If you browse through there I'm sure you can find some good ones. There are also some fics rec'd in this thread. I can't vouch for all of them, but looking through I do know many of them, plus there is one post that I made (same username) on the 2nd page with a few. I would go through and make another list for you, but I have way too many in my memories and without knowing exactly what type of fic you like, I wouldn't really know where to start.

If I recall correctly, in the one i am thinking about they were roommates at the beginning of the fic. I am pretty sure it had a "continued" link at the bottom, cause I think that is where I lost the story. I don't know.

Hmm, if that's not it than I am stumped. I can't think of any that involved them being roommates at the start of the fic, though I'm sure it's out there somewhere. Definitely let me know if you find it.

pirategirl I am pretty sure I know which story you are talking about and I don't think so. In this story it is set in the future when they are in their mid-20's, young professionals, both single... I think... :) In the story you are referring to, they are still in college, right? They get together, they break up and then get back together again or something. I like that story, it was a good one.

I'm really hoping that someone can help me find a fic that I read awhile ago. I remember that Veronica and Logan talked through letters for some of it, and they had sex at a wedding. Veronica was always wearing Logan's hoodie, and she may have ended up pregnant. Thanks in advance.
