A Rose By Any Other Name) and (
Tingling Toes) There's also a ton of stuff on all the VMfic places on LJ if you are still interested. They are my new fave couple that will never ever actually happen

Those who were looking for Logan/Veronica as parents fics, here's another really, really good one. It's also a great character study of Veronica and just all sorts of beautiful and powerful.

Can somebody help me find a fic? I have no idea who the author is, but I first read it back at the end of season one or during that summer. It was a future fic where Veronica and Logan are together but not married, and they meet up with Weevil who now has hair. They end up taking him back to their hotel room and LOTS of things happen. But the point of it was that Veronica set it up so Logan could tell Weevil some things about his dad that he had him killed in prisonthat he couldn't discuss with her.

Anyone got any Dick-centric fic that isn't Mac/Dick? I'm not a fan of the couple, but since Dick's breakdown in front of his father last episode, I'd love to read a series about Dick becoming an actual person . . . without his dead brother's ex-girlfriend's guidance.

Before we lose the forums I want to thank all of the writers who contributed here. Through all of your stories I have seen Veronica and Logan do just about every single thing a human being can do and a few that they can't. Your creativity has allowed me to see these characters live out their lives together.

Ah and also before we lose the forums, are there any really good Veronica Mars/Dean Winchester fanfictions I can read? I'm really in the mood. I've read all the halfway2home home ones. Any others? Thanks.
BTW: Thank you to all my fellow writers and everyone who helped here. I live on fanfic and you helped the process.

About losing the forums, this...
"The "expanded" forums (like VM, GG) means we're just moving the forums en masse out of the Current Shows area and into the Other TV Talk > Dramas area."
... was said by Glark in the "Forum Questions, Issues, and Comments" thread.

I'm not sure where to put this, but in order to keep the show alive, would people be interested in writing a continuation?
I used to read a Buffy continuation religiously that was absolutely superb, and I was wondering if anyone would want to try a virtual fourth season for Veronica mars, if it does end on a cliff-hanger.

I know I've been writing some options in my head. Not that I will likely ever write any down, I will have to keep the story alive for at least a while. I really look forward to reading what others are brave enough to write. I'm sure Rob will leave us a lot to finish up however we see fit :)

Okay, so following the finale I'm thinking of setting up a forum where us writers (and as many as we can get!) can join and discuss creating a Virtual Fourth Season or maybe even a mini-series of sorts.
Would people be up for joining? We could just start out by throwing ideas around, maybe it would come to nothing but if we had enough people on board, I think it'd be possible to make a really great online season.

Well, I've never written fanfic (nor really read it) but I care enough about what happens to Veronica that I have to see a resolution so I'll be reading this.
I think the first big question would be whether you'd start the FBI idea or pick up on Year 2 at Hearst.

These are the sort of ideas I'd think of playing around with on the forum. If people don't want to write, I'd love to have you on board just to help with the planning. If anyone knows these characters, it's us, the fans. And I think if people worked together, we'd be on to a winner :)

I could throw ideas around as there are bound to be a lot of what-ifs in my head tomorrow, but it's been years since I've written any fanfic and I'm more than a bit rusty. Would people write an episode each? Would it be in script form? Would each person write a separate vignettes from each character's point of view? There are so many ways of approaching things.
Being in Buffy fandom, there was nothing more frustrating than finding a really good season eight continuation and having it abruptly stop due to lack of interest. (Of course, anything Buffy is a moot point considering the season eight comics which, sadly, haven't yet lived up to the potential of a large deal of fanfic that was out there.)
Just so this isn't offtopic -- Rorikon, not sure if this is what you're looking for and it's been recced loads so you've probably read it, but I love
Requiem for the Uncomplicated by Amelia Kay which deals with Dick's thought processes at the end of the second series. It's a short, sharp read that really gets his inner monologue down.

I've always had this weird mental line of "not writing fic". It's basically the one last hopeless defense I clung to for the benefit for everyone who told me "it's just a show." That, and I've always associated fic with the stereotypes of badly-written Star Trek slash.
That said, I'm more than willing to break it for a virtual season 4. So yeah, if y'all will have this complete fic neophyte I'd love to at least visit the forum.

Okay, because I enjoyed the finale so much and thought it was a great way to end things, I'm a bit wary about venturing into a possible fourth season.
But I'm currently trying my hand on a script for a virtual season premiere, and then I think I'll post it here to receive some feedback and see if people like the direction and style. If people do then I'll set up the forum to get everyone working.
Oh I do love how Veronica Mars is the only thing that motivates me to do anything in life.

I am interested in reading virtual season 4 fics.
But until then, I was wondering if anyone ever saw the third installment of a three-parter, called "Scotch on the Rocks", written by Haley J. The Bat. Part one is called "Pink Lemonade", part two is called "Sex on the Beach". In the story Lilly is alive and she, Logan and Veronica are at Logan's Hawaiian family estate and do very naughty things together.
If anyone has a link to the third part, that would be great.

I'm writing mine. I'm basically half way through my first "episode", and I've mapped out where I want to take the season. Which was rather hard.
Before I go live with a website I'm setting up, would people be interested in reading my first-finished draft of the premiere and giving some honest reviews/criticism?

Freecake, that's a really great episode! I was very impressed with how the lines rang so true to the characters (when the don't is in my list of pet hates when reading fanfic).
There were a couple of things I wasn't too sure on.
The Pizonica breakup flashback didn't seem quite right. Now, this could be because I'm a shipper, but they were head over heels and Piz strikes me as a character too nice (for lack of a better word) to break up with Veronica. He's had a thing for her since 3.01 afterall. I also didn't catch and particular reason... could be a lapse in memory!
The other thing was Azura's entrance. If I read it right, Wallace and Veronica were in the Mars Apartment? I'm not sure how Azura got into the bathroom without Veronica noticing she had entered.
Only minor things and I thought it was really, really great. It leaves me wanting to know how the Fitzpatricks are going to get their revenge and what the hell happened to Logan... sheesh!
I wish I could write like you!

Thanks for your lovely comments, Tennis5tar!
In regards to the Pizonica breakup, I totally agree. It's at the top of my "to be changed" list. Basically, I wanted to keep with the idea that Chris Lowell would not be returning for the fourth season, but I wanted to show the actual demise of the relationship. I sort of implied that Piz was just too on edge after the whole Cafeteria incident, but it will be changed.
Azura's entrance is another gripe of mine, so I'm glad we agree there. Basically, Wallace and Azura were already in the apartment when Veronica arrived home, but Azura was offscreen in the bathroom. Azura sticks out like a sore thumb in that scene, so I'm considering leaving her entrance until the next episode entirely.
Thank you again for reading and for the input. Means a lot :)!
