Ok I'll admit I didn't look hard enough for this fic, but the looking that I did do got me all impatient so I decided to come here to see if anyone knows where I can find this story. It's involves Logan at the cemetary by Lilly's grave about to kill himself with a gun, until Veronica and Weevil both save him. I believe the story ends with Logan and Veronica at the beach together.

If anyone out there knows this story and can point me in the direction of where it's located, that'd be great! Thanks!

If the show is cancelled, do we produce a fan filmed fourth season that takes place at Hearst, or the proposed FBI situation?

I think people will do both, depending on their preference but I'd stick with Hearst and take things one day at a time instead of a huge four year gap. Either way, it will generate massive fanfic. I don't know about you guys but the only way I'm getting through the next few weeks is by reading fanfic.

I was hoping someone could help me find a fic that I apparently didn't bookmark (or else my computer ate. It happens sometimes)

The fic was L/V set during "Cheaty Cheaty Bang Bang" when Veronica comes over to confront Logan about his affair. One thing leads to another and they end up spending the day in bed. When Logan wakes up, Veronica is gone and he assumes she's left after all of their emotional craziness of the day and he calls her up to call her every unpleasant name in the book, only to realize she had just gone home to get provisions so she could stay the weekend with him. Logan goes all apologetic, but it's too late. The fic continues with Logan trying to make things right and Veronica deciding that Logan is only good for sex. I'm not sure if it was complete and I just didn't get to finish it, or if it was a WIP, but I'd LOVE to find it again.

Any ideas of what it is or who it's by?

It was driving me crazy and I really enjoyed this fic. I saw that the author plans on posting new parts (possibly through the end) begining towards the end of this month if the Betas enjoy it. I'm really excited. If I still wrote fic, I would write you thank you fic. Alas, those days are long gone.

I should have done this when I initially read them, but I've decided to bookmark my favourite fanfic.

Currently I am looking for a future-fic oneshot involving Logan and Veronica. These are the little bits of the fic I remember:

- Veronica gets shot in the chest while on the east coast. Keith is the one to call Logan.
- Months later Veronica is visiting(?) Trina (on set I think) and after talking briefly to Logan, moves in with him.
- Theres a part where Wallace, Logan, and Veronica are playing a board game while V still recoups.

Vague, but its all I've got. Any ideas/help?

Does anybody know of any mac-centric stuff? I've read a lot, but I seem to have hit a dead end because I can't find anymore. Any Mac/Bronson stuff either?

I'm interested in knowing what the three big no-no's would be if I were to write a season 4, in the event the show is canceled. I haven't decided on which format I'll go with yet (I kind of like the FBI idea). But, if that's one of the 3 no-no's, please let me know.

I would write 13 episodes to finish it all off, and they would be in script format. Any thoughts?

I am not sure if you mean "no-nos" in the sense that there is an "official" list, but if you just want my opinion (and if we are cancelled I will be reading A LOT of fanfic).

1. No Veronica/Piz long term. She can learn a relationship lesson or two from him, but then she better move on as I loathe him.

2. No Logan longterm with anyone but Veronica. We've stuck by them and we should get the payoff! Same relationship rules apply as above...learn a lesson and move on

3. No major character deaths. If you need to get rid of someone, then I say send them out of state and/or country. I don't want any more of my friends to die. Madison, Piz, etc feel free to murder gruesomely :)

Hi, I was looking for fanfic recommendations? I'm very new to Veronica Mars and there's so much fanfic out there it's confusing. I'm looking for stories set before, during or immediately after Season 1 with good, show-like snarky dialogue and preferably a mystery plot of some sort. And Logan/Veronica, please*.

Sorry if that's too precise but if anyone has any recommendations that'd be great!

* Since I'd like Season 1-centric fanfic, there's pretty inevitably going to be Duncan/Veronica and Logan/Lilly in the fics too, which is great, but I want fics with some sort of Logan/Veronica, too. :)

Jiggedfool season one L/V fic is all I read. I'm in the process of saving my favorites in my LJ memories. If you look for eternal_twilite on LJ I have some great ones already in there. So far, I've only got the ones by the same author but she's awesome and when you read them you'll know why.

I had read this fic, and now I can't find it. In it V lives elsewhere and comes back for a high school renuion. She and Duncan are just friends, and she sees Logan for the first time after a long time. There is a limo, Duncan's house and hot chocolate. In the epilogue they are in a car driving to get V's stuff. I think there is an old cd/music talk involved. Care to help me?

I know a lot of people, aren't in favour of the whole VIZ (Veronica/Piz) thing. Being a LoVe fan myself, I've had some doubts with the idea, but I've grown partial to Piz. I have some fics that explore what could happen. Logan is not made out to be a villian by any means. In fact, I think you'd be surprised with the outcomes of each story.

Perfect Now:
Happiness lives in a remote campsite in Oregon. AngstFluff. Viz, LoVe. Summary: Veronica follow Piz to Oregon for the summer. She's tugged by two conflicting feelings.

You're Barely On My Radar:
Veronica visits Piz for help with a Christmas gift. Mentions of Logan, Mac, and Dick...VIZ.

The Thirsty Scholar:
Veronica chooses a night out with her friends to cope with her personal issues, drinking a little too much for her everyone's taste. Piz decides to confess something at a less than opportune time. LoVe, Viz.

Give it try then?

By the way, I'm not sure that these are what you had in mind for "really great, developed mysteries"--everything I recommended has mysteries at about the level of the show, which has always had some great and some subpar MotW and cheats at the big mysteries (meaning, they're actually thrillers, not mysteries, because if they really were mysteries, the audience members who were better at deduction would figure out the murderer, and let the rest of us know via the internet, which would actually be a major bummer). Still, I don't know that anyone expects Dorothy Sayers from fanfic (or from television, for that matter).

I rec QueenHaq's "Alive" but if I were you I would not read the Redux version as it probably will not be finished or end up Logan/Veronica if that's your only VM ship.

I also rec Catheryne's "For Thy Sweet Love Remembered", the story is all sorts of epic and beautiful.

For fluffy goodness, Taken_with_you has some good reads here. And if you are going to read that then on principle I must rec her other fic Keeping Count of Broken Promises because it is incredible and gorgeous and can also be found in her memories. And can't forget about "Marriage is a Rocky Road" which is ridiculously hot.

And finally, because I love some good angst I rec Lit_chick08's "Drying Out" and "Kicking Shadows". This story hurts good.

Now for my request. Does anyone know of any Veronica/Logan fics that take place in a different time than the modern day that the series exists in? I absolutely love TrueMyth's "Parallel Tracks" and Sophia_bee's "The White Rose Fades" part 1 and part 2. I would love to read more stuff like these.
