I like angsty fill-in (fill-in where the show gives us hints) type of fics best personally.

2 out of 3 chapters are up, and the third should be up tonight.

Starts after S&E over the break, and it's most LoVe and Ensemble. Kind of angsty 'cause that's just how I roll. ;) Lots of crazy POV stuff. It does include some stuff from recent spoilers (from somewhere in the next 3 episodes, I believe), specifically the whole Madison thing .

During the month that's now sadly missing, someone posted a fic that I loved about Logan and Keith finding out years later that Veronica hadn't died in the bus crash but been captive in Mexico... anyone know what and where that was?

Hey everyone!

Just dropped by for a little self-pimpage (I know. I'm shameless). I recently started writing a Logan/OFC (original female character) fic and thought some might enjoy it. I know original characters are not really favoured in fandom, but I promise she's not a Mary Sue.

Of Serenity And Sage (PG-13 for now).

I haven't been reading much fic lately but I clicked the link for Finite Erasure out of curiosity. It's so amazing I almost wish I hadn't. That has to be one of the best recs to grace this board.

I think sometime in the month we lost someone was asking for a rec for a good long, mystery-driven fic. I can't remember if romantic was also part of the request, but in any case, if you're looking for a really awesome fic that combines all the above, check out Chemical Reactions by secrets_and_lie. It's a post 3.9, Veronica and Logan find their way back together story, and her emotional perception is really startling. It's pitch-perfect Logan and Veronica and the way they work out their issues is very realistically done. Also, it features Piz and Mac and I love them.

I just want to recommend this:(Im)Perfection

It's beautiful, but dark and complex. It's Logan/Veronica, but also Duncan/Veronica and Hannah/Logan. Basically, Veronica is dating Duncan, and staying because of his daughter and the promise she made to Meg, and cheats on him with Logan over a period of about five years. Once you read it, you will have to re-read it to make sure you have everything.

Also, I have to re-rec Finite Erasure It’s deeply, deeply disturbing, but utterly compelling. It’s basically a story where everyone thinks Veronica died on the bus, but, in fact, she’s alive in a hospital in L.A., but she’s very far from well. Just read it, but don’t at work, because you’ll be crying so hard your co-workers will think something serious has happened to you.

My new convert is a Mac fan. Can anyone recommend a good fic featuring Mac, maybe with a pre-sociopathic Cassidy?! Thanks in advance!

I've been reading fan fic online for the past 12 years (which is impressive in that most of my friends didn't HAVE internet 12 years ago). I've read stories from probably over 10 different fandoms, many of which I will never admit to having been involved in (grin). Something I've learned is that bits and pieces of stories stay lodged in my brain, and I never know when they're gonna pop-up, and I'll drive myself crazy trying to remember where it's from & wanting to reread it.

So I save every, and I mean every, story I read on my computer. That way, if a site goes down, if I forget a name, or I forgot where to look for new parts, I have it all saved right there. Sometimes I may not even really like the story, but there may be a line or phrase somewhere in there that struck a cord that I'll want to revist later. Now saving everything may seem a little crazy, and I admit it is, but I know myself enough to know that it will save me heartache in the long run. You may just want to save stories you really like.

I never repost stories or put them on websites; I just keep them for my own personal use & to share with (real life) friends if it comes up. I actually had an instance where the author of a story had lost it when a web site went down, and I emailed it to her (another tip: authors, keep your stories on your hard drives!!)

I keep the stories in a fairly organized manner with subfiles as well. Each fandom has their own folder, which has sub folders. Examples for VM sub folders are stuff like season 1, season 2, season 3, futurefic, etc. Multi-part stories sometimes get their own folders, as do particularily good or prolific writers.

Anyway, that's my advise on how not to lose stories! This way, I never have to worry about down sites, broken links, or lost bookmarks. Plus, html files are fairly small & easily backed-up.

Hello, everyone. Although I just gained posting privileges, I've been lurking for a while and am very grateful for all of the fanfic recs. I am looking for recs for hurt/comfort stories (especially Logan/Veronica) and/or stories that actually deal with Veronica's rape (her coping with it, the effect on a relationship, Keith finding out, Logan's thoughts, etc.).

Ok I'm looking for a fic and it's driving me crazy. I think perhaps someone was looking for it in the previous posts, but I've looked back and can't find anything, unless I'm totally blind.

The fic deals with Logan/Veronica, Hannah. Hannah's back from boarding and she catches up with Logan at the Java Hut. He's surprised to see her and she thinks they're still together, but Logan tells her that he's with Veronica now.

The Basement and the Sky and its sequel Lightning Crashes by polarthestral. It centers around Logan/Meg and is one of my favourite fics.

Chopped Liver (Logan/Caitlin Ford). I realize the pairing sounds horrible, but dark_roast did a FABULOUS job fleshing out her character. The link to the sequel is linked at the bottom of the page for this fic.

A few months ago, I asked about a fic that I think is by sexycereal where Logan is eating with Keith and Veronica and he has a panic attack and blacks out...somthing like that. I still can't find a link for this fic that works. If anyone could help me, it would be much appreciated!

There'a a fic that I've been looking for.
It's where Veronica and Logan are together, but Duncan's still in love with her.
The fic takes place way after high school, and Duncan comes to them for help. One of his ex-girlfriend's had been killed, and letters were coming to the Kanes saying that the killings would continue.
Jake and Celeste are also in the mix, and Jake, Wallace and Keith are all amused by the way Veronica and Logan hump like monkeys whenever they're in the room.

I'm a little vague on the detail, but it was a futurefic. I THINK its a Weevil POV one where Weevil runs into V in NY and they spend the night together. Shes an alcoholic and he was warned by Logan and Wallace about it... thats about all I can think of.
