I posted chapter 21 of All Fall Down last night. It's called O Father, Where Art Thou. Why, Keith, why? Cameos by Cliff, Lamb, Sacks and, of course, the star of the show: Back-up. Veronica and Logan get their sleuth on. Pussy gets drunk. Fun is had by all (I hope). Just one more chapter left to go in our summer epic and plot threads are finally being tied off... right around our necks as the tension mounts (or something)! If you'd planned on catching up after it was all posted, you could probably start now since this monster collaboration is over 150,000 words long.

I'm fairly new in the forums. I think this is my 2nd post but I was wondering if anyone knew any good Veronica Mars/BTVS crossovers. I just stumbled across Ladydisdan225 awesome Killer Crossover which unfortunately is not finished and wanted to know if there was anything else like it. I haven't gone through the 200+ pages before so I'm not sure if someone asked this question already but I'd appreciate any help I can get.

I'm not into VM/BtVS crossovers at all, so I can't guarantee that these fics are similar, other than the two shows involved.

Aww, thanks, Tua! I really appreciate your kind words, and I'm happy to know that my fanfic recs are coming in handy. I haven't had the time to update that list in eons, but I have been archiving a few more in my memories. Plus, all the other fics are there as well. However, as I've been delving into Dark Angel and Supernatural fanfiction as of late, there are a few of those in my memories as well - just as fair warning before you get too confused.

Has anyone read a fic thats set s1 ish, is part V/D and part V/L. Its something to do with fairytales and its broken up into three (?) parts i think? The main things i remember reading about was Duncan reminicing about that night he found Veronica drugged and how it wasnt quite as consensual as he made it out to be, Veronica's life is still hell at Neptune High (couple of 09er pranks are mentioned) and i think Logan begins to fall for her or something and beats up Dick after he bad mouths her? Ring any bells for anyone??

I'm loving Keep Count of Broken Promises by taken_with_you on lj. It's part 1 of 3 but it has just enough angst mixed with hope for a happy ending. I am anxiously awaiting the next part.

One good thing about a hiatus is the fanfic starts to pour in (more than usual)....
I'm trying to backtrack all the good fanfic that i really loved, and i keep remembering one quite a few months back. L/V (as always) season 1 ish I think. I only say this becuase I remember Logan and Veronica being on the outs. Logan accompanies her to party (for a case, it may have been a frat party) where some guy starts bothering her and Logan defends her. I dont remember much more except that it was fairly long and i liked it...

FIC SEARCH

Hey y'all, I read a fic a few weeks ago and now I can't for the life of me find it. It was maybe twelve chapters long and set during 2x22 (Not Pictured). The entire fic takes place between the scene in the Mars kitchen when Veronica learns Keith isn't dead and the next scene at Mars Investigations. The POV switches between Veronica, Logan and Keith, and appearances are put in by Wallace, Mac and Dick. It's basically a fic about how each character copes with the events of 2x22. At one point all the kids get drunk together at the Mars apartment and Veronica shows pictures detailing her bruises from the rape. Later in the story she finally tells Keith about it.

Any help anyone can give would be hugely appreciated.

I'm new to this thread, and I was hoping someone might take the time to recommend a good piece of fluffy AU, maybe Lily is still alive, pre-series Logan/Veronica fic. Call me crazy, but finals week is coming up and I could use some non-angsty distraction where the lives of characters are miraculously un-sucktastic. Anyone know anything good?

isavedroosevelt - Two of my favorite AUs are Wouldst That It Were and Soundtrack of Your Life (Or 5 Songs Lilly Kane Never Heard). I'm not sure they live up to the fluff requirement, but they're both "5 Things.." fics, so there are parts that are fairly fluffy. Hope you enjoy...

I just read an awesome VM/SPN crossover by halfway2home called Chosen Family. It's Dean/Veronica and third in a series, so be sure to read the first two as well.

I'm looking for a fic that was posted here a while ago (I've tried searching but its very difficult). I don't think I ever finish reading the story. Some of the little things I remember about it: Logan is sick so Veronica hides him in her dorm room, Veronica finds out that Logan has been drinking too much so she starts watching over him, Veronica jets off to another country wihtout Logan...

The Sweet Life has 6 chapters and an epilogue, the link is to the epilogue which will have links to the preceading chapters. Also, I just read That Old Magic by tinyblonde1 which is an AU that takes several liberties with canon, but I think is a cute story, 4 chapters, <1> <2> <3> and <4>. Also, all these stories are light-R to NC-17.

Popping by to rec, not a fic, but a fic competition. This fun new VM fansite, Two Fangirls, is now holding an eight week long competition; you’re supposed to nominate fics in a given category each week and then vote on them the following week. It’s a cool idea, and I like the categories, but they need bunches of people (or at least one bunch) stopping by and getting into the action to make it fun, so I wanted to mention it here. (And no, I haven’t nominated anything yet, but I’m planning to do so shortly.)

BTW, one of the fangirls in question, Alaya, is a brilliant fanfic writer in her own right, you might know her as Utsusemia on LJ. She wrote Bright and Nightfall, among others.

And while I’m here, a fic search question: does anyone remember a fic where Logan starts sleeping platonically in Veronica’s bed every night after Lilly’s death, I think even through their hostilities at school? He stops when they’re romantically involved but maybe starts again after they break up. I’ve been searching for it and coming up empty.

Does anyone know of any fics from season 2's opener where it is not immediately known that Veronica got off the bus? I've heard there is one somewhere where she's found as a slave years later, but that kinda squicks me out. I'd just like some time for reaction from Logan/Duncan/Keith (mostly Logan of course) when they think she is dead and reaction to learning she's really alive.

Ok, I posted a question about a fic that I can't find, but it was lost in the great computer disaster. Since I have worn my eyes out looking for it to no avail, I'm going to try posting for help again.

I've only been reading fanfic for the past month-6 weeks to get me through the hiatus. Some of you are EXTREMELY talented and I've been very impressed at a lot of what I've read. I didn't bookmark any fic in the beginning (no idea why) and I am looking for one of the first ones that I read. I read it around the same time I read Molasses and Taffy (which finally inspired me to start saving fics to reread--TRULY AMAZING). At that time to the best of my recollection I got all my links from this forum, however I was randomly scrolling through 10 pages at a time of the 200+ pages, so one time I might look through 190-200 and the next 1-10. I have not been through the entire forum looking for it, but I have been through a considerable chunk!

I can't remember how it begins, but I guess Veronica is sick because Logan is later irritated that she gave him the flu. She takes care of him and then they spend the rest of the fic trying to get together though there are numerous interruptions. I'm pretty sure Dick interrupts them once and Veronica is hiding on the floor of the kitchen.

Not being able to find it is driving me crazy...I remember going to two sites around that time because there were recs here. Vm-fic.com and another one which has 4 pics of V in lingerie across the top of the page (name eluding me at the moment). I checked through the listings for V/L at both of those sites and didnt find it...course I have no idea of the title so that doesn't help. There was definitely some length to the vic though. Don't necessarily remember chapters, but it was pretty long which leads me to think it wasn't on LJ.

As I look at the list I realize I didn't really post anything entirely lighthearted...sorry about that! Is there any type of fic that you are particularly looking for? I mostly read LoVe and ensemble, and I don't read any smut only, odd pairings, and I've mostly stayed away from main character deaths, so if you have interests outside of mine, you may need to get recs from some others here too. I really haven't been reading fanfic for very long, but I hope you find something in the list that you like :)
