Does anyone remember a fic that has Veronica calling Logan in the middle of the night but they're both in relationships/living with other people? The ending has them meeting at the beach I think.

Hey I'm wondering if someone could help me find a fic, its with Veronica and Logan and it was pre-series. It went along the lines of Lilly bought Veronica a bathing suit and then she and Duncan went somewhere I think possibly somewhere in Europe and this left Veronica to hang out with Logan and she ended up staying at his house for a night or two.

Hi, I've been lurking for a while, I've just recently gotten into VM... I'm looking a fic. I remember it had a strong Keith & Logan friendship which developed after Logan & Veronica broke up. Logan was an recovering alcoholic & ended up writing best-selling novels under another name based on Veronica. Anyone know what I'm talking about? It's driving me crazy...

Chiming in with a 'what is that fic?' question. I swear I saved it to my lj memories, but clearly not.

I've trawled through vm_fic and veronicamarsfic, but haven't found it and I really should be finishing an end of semester essay.

It was set post 1x22, and Logan-centric possibly with some spoilers for 2x1?

Anyway it has Logan being taken to school by Lamb because he was in danger of being mobbed, but due to Lamb's inepitude it turns into a car chase with the media, and Logan calls Cliff, to tell him to turn on the news because Lamb is taking him to school. Cliff does so saying "No there's some police chase", to which Logan replies "yes that's us" to which Cliff replies "He's really taking the long way" <-- bad paraphrasing, but that is the only scene I clearly remember, because it was so very Cliff.

I don't recall this having been rec'd here previously (probably because the stuff over at fanfiction.net is decidedly hit or miss), and since a fabulous new chapter went up today, I thought I'd mention it:

Life in Slow Motion by Angel Monroe is terrific. It is an AU from the point of Lucky and the gun at the beginning of Happy Go Lucky. It explores what would happen if there were actually bullets in Lucky's gun and he took a hostage (includes spoilers from the rest of 2x21 and 2x22 in later chapters). I highly recommend it.
