I was just coming by to rec utsusemia's latest. Like everything she writes, it is fantastic. Of course, reading it made me want to go read Nightfall again, and so I did, and then I cried again.

I love checking out these boards because you guys have great rec's and I really trust and respect my fellow fanatic's opinions on "good" fic. I love the "Alive" and "Alive Redux" fic from queen_haq (If you have not read this yet, RUN and read it now!) and shangri__la's "La Douleur Exquise!" and the follow up "Entropy" are fantastic! I was wondering if anyone else could help recommend some of their favorite WIP's or other (epic) long stories. Thanks for any advice!

I'm in the middle of a seven-parter (that is already finished--it's just being posted a chapter a day) by sowell called Paradise Island. It ponders what might have happened if Duncan snuck back to Neptune to ask Veronica to run away with him, and it is fantastic.

Over at vm_fic, some of us editors are putting together "Top Ten Ever" VM fic lists in preparation for the the upcoming Season Three premiere. nm973 posted her list today, and at least two more will be posted before the weekend is out. Hopefully, we can all find something new that we missed the first time around to check out. :)

Break You Down by Abvj It's a pre series look at Veronica before everything starting going downhill in Neptune. Incredibly well written with DoVe undertones and a lot of LoVe. I adored it. Go read and leave feedback.

Hello!! I was looking for a Logan/Veronica story that goes AU after the S1 episode (blanking on title) where we first learn Logan is beaten by Aaron - he has to pick out the belt for his beating. The story has Veronica and Logan meeting at the drug store as he is trying to purchase 1st aid things. She takes pity on him when she figures out what is going on and then their relationship changes from there. If anyone can remember which one it is or where I can find it that would be awesome!!

Just dropped in to enlighten people who (like me) didn't know. Chapter 15 of All Fall Down is up!

I'm not sure if anyone would be interested, but it seems there are a lot of VM fans who love Harry Potter (natch, they both rule). I'm writing a Hogwarts version of Veronica Mars, We Used To Be Friends. Hermione = Veronica, Draco = Logan, etc. It follows the first season.

There is a fic out there that takes place right after the final episode of season two. Its told from several different perspectives. First, Veronicas right after Cassidy jumps of the hotel, then Logans, the Keiths. It talks about telling the police about what happened on the roof, and then continues with Wallace and Mac, and I think Dick coming over to Veronicas house. At this point, I think they start drinking.

Any one know where I can find this?

Neptune Online is back!

This year, Logan is the editor, and he has definitely made some changes! The first issue features safekeeping tips from Veronica, friend-making tips from Parker, reviews of Top Model, and Little Miss Sunshine, and some funny start of the year emails from the Resident Assistants.

Of course, there are also our regular features like Logan's advice column, sound-off, and another Supernatural review from Gia!

Looking for some good season 3 based fan fiction. Any suggestions? I heard there's a story about Dick rooming with Logan (LoVe)...

Hey guys, I'm looking for some good Duncan/Veronica fic. Where Veronica is genuinely in love with Duncan, and he's not just a replacement for Logan. I'll take anything, one-shots, multi-chaptered, angsty, happy ending, whatever, just so long as it's well written and in character.

Hemotology (Blood Tells) is an excellent D/V by sinaddict. Photographs are Stored in Boxes is an AU future D/V by sadie kate that is amazing, as is her Funny For a Dead Girl. That's all I can think of off the top of my head, ashleigh12, but I'll post more if I come across any.

Ok, its L/V, and a fairly short little story that i dont remember much of (including where to find it) and i think i found it on this board, but i've looked to no avail. The plot line is something like Logan waking up and finding Veronica in the bathroom, finding out she had a miscarriage or finding out she wasnt really pregnant. Something along those lines. Its been sitting on my mind for the past three day and i would like to go back and read it....

blackink, I was seriously just coming on the board to ask for the same exact fic. It's a future fic where Logan wakes up on his birthday alone, goes wandering to the bathroom in search of Veronica, only to find out that she was pregnant and was going to tell him for his birthday present but she miscarried that morning or the night before.

If anyone could point me in the direction of this fic I would really appreciate it.

I'm looking for a fic that I believe was written for the loveathons community. I don't have much to go on but this one image from the fic that has been bugging me because I can no longer remember the exact line... It had to do with the tongue's pain receptors along the lines of 'the spicier it is, the more it burns... the better it is.' The author had concocted a really beautiful metaphor for the L/V relationship.

Triteia, does this sound familiar?
I'm not sure it's the same story, but your description reminded me of Standing On The F-Word by sexycereal. Even if it's not the same, it's still a great S1 look at L/V and I'd recommend checking it out.
