Uhh, I was reading the last couple of pages, and there are quite frequent mentions of the fic that "must not be named"...um..can anyone tell me what that is? kinda confused about it...

First, I wanted to thank everyone for their feedback and comments last month. Reaction to my first story was ah-mazing. Totally made me determined to write some more...once I get through summer semester, that is. Seriously, the outpouring of goodwill was really awesome.

Next, I wanted to say I am still totally enamoured with All Fall Down. It just gets better every week. I can't believe it has so many authors, and I cherish each installment. Too, too fun. I've also completely adored the VM_whatif stuff, because I am such a fan of that genre and because everyone writing there is just beyond talented.

I also wanted to say thanks to everyone here for recommendations because, well, I would have totally been lost immediately post-finale without your guidance and, hey, because I totally need something to help procrastinate homework!

Finally (and most importantly!) I come bearing a recommendation! eleventh hour by lennalie. It was written for the 5 Things That challenge (another favorite place of mine!) and it won a few awards there, all of which it deserved. She has created an amazing Logan. I really enjoyed this and so felt like I had to share it!

Glad you're still enjoying All Fall Down, fairyecho. Chapter 8, "Treasons of Love," was just posted by Kantayra and it is fluff, lusty fun with some nice progress on one of the mystery arcs.

My latest fic, Nightfall, is up. Future fic, but I tried to make it a little unusual. And it ended up kinda long, for those of you who enjoy that.

Okay, so I haven't posted on here but I'm one of those crazy lurkers lol. I love all the stuff posted here! Anyway, I just posted my very first fanfiction ever, it's a Logan character piece I guess, a missing scene from 2.22. I would love it if all the writers I really respect like Tiana, Sadie Kate, MutinousMuse, Queen Haq, and many many more would read and leave feeback. Its also my first time using LJ so, if some things are wrong just tell me in your comment. I love Concrit, and welcome it since there is no way for me to get better. Its very short, under 500 words, but I just wanted to post a short piece that I felt comfortable with.

I was just coming here to rec this. I'm just going to come right out and say it: Best. Fic. Ever. My complete lack of writing skill makes me unable to adequately describe what a truly beautiful and moving piece of writing this is.

So, I have to second what Yuppie said. I bawled, like all out sobbed at my computer, woke up the baby in the next room with my crying. Just so beautiful. Lovely and heartbreaking, and completely amazing.

I just read both Nightfall and A Fathers Worth and they both are just wow.

I love the imagery in A Fathers Worth between younger and older Logan.

Nightfall made me cry, and I hate to cry but I loved it.

utsusemia I MUST jump on the bandwagon an say WOW! It was so beautiful and heartbreaking and bitttersweet and deep and lovely. The list of words to describe it can go on forever. It is impossible not to cry while reading this, even if you never cry. I loved your take on their relationship and why they never had any kids. I can't even begin to articulate how wonderful this is. There are no words I could give that would do it justice.

I know that this fic has already been recommended many times today, but I have read just about every VM fanfic out there, and I have to say that Nightfall is possible the most outstanding story I've ever read. It is simply so beautifully written on so many different levels that it defies description.

A while ago I read a fic that I think was an L/V-fic. It had Veronica losing a lot of weight over the summer and riding a motorcycle, I think. At one point in the story she drove it off the road trying to avoid confrontation with Logan. Probably a post-1x22 fic, and I believe it was a WIP. Does anyone know which one I'm talking about? I'd really like to read it again but now I can't seem to find it.

I know my description is very vague, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

So I know that there has already been a lot of praise utsusemia's new fic Nightfall, but this story is so incredible that I feel the need to second (actually more like tenth) the recommendation! Seriously, if anyone hasn't read it yet, there are multiple links to it, and you should go read it NOW.

I also wanted to pimp my own ficlet, An Honest Attempt for the Evasive "Cool", which is about as fluffy as Nightfall is heartbreaking and beautiful. It's a very short Keith and Veronica story. I hope you all enjoy :D

Any short, upbeat, well-written fics without Logan? Like, none. Unless if someone mentions how he died gruesomely or something. That's totally allowed.

You'll find plenty of those here by monimala. They mostly feature a V/Lamb or V/Weevil pairing.

I particularly love her "Between The Rock and a Not-So Hard Place" series, every chapter fits the "short, upbeat, well-written" request with a lot of humor thrown in for good measure.

I was reading a story awhile ago but I can't seem to find it and I was wondering if someone could help me. It was a take off on Lilly's murder but Logan and Veronica witnessed the murder and then the sex tapes of Aaron and Lilly were leaked from the sherriff's department.

Hi! This will be my first time ever posting here (I mainly live at The Office board and lurk here) but I wrote this fic yesterday that I really, really want some feedback on. It's called Brothers On A Hotel Bed and it's a Logan/Dick, Logan/Cassidy fic (something I've never done before) and a lot darker than what I usually write and features a pairing I'd never even considered before (Logan/Cassidy), and it's rated R. It started out as just an idea that crawled into my head for a Logan/Dick fic and it sort of took on a life of it's own.

So I know I'm rambling it's just I'd really, really like feedback on this fic good or bad.

Nightfall truly is one of the most amazing pieces of fic I've ever read. I kept on thinking about it even days after I'd read it.

Kur has written a very interesting piece, Bob & Lydia. It focuses on Grace Manning (yes, Grace) and Duncan. Very, very unique.

Also, I recently posted a fic called In Pursuit of Chicken Wings. It was written for the Unconventional Pairings Challenge and focuses on Troy and Wallace (strictly platonic, not romantic) and has mentions of Troy/Veronica.

Wanted to recommend the latest by bigboobedcanuck, Perdon. I really enjoy stories that are from unusual (ie not Logan or Veronica) POVs, and this one is from the perspective of Weevil's grandmother. Really effective glimpse into Logan's childhood.

Can anyone rec any other stories that are from the POV of tertiary characters? It's a nice change of pace.

The previous chapters are posted there, so if you haven't been following this fantastic AU Logan/Weevil(no, not like that, though I like that, too) fic, now is the time to go and read!

Since I'm a bit sick (who has a flu during the summer??), I needed something to read that'll take me to the escapism route for a while. It was so fun reading it, I went on to read the original Alive posts, but got stuck at parts 32-34, because I can't access those pages.

I read this story a while ago, where Veronica is pregnant, and she's mad at Logan at the beginning because he wouldn't let her eat icecream. It was just fluffy smut, but I can't find it anymore. Anyone know what I am talking about?
