All this talk about the fic that must not be named has got me really curious would anyone mind sending it to me?

Now, perhaps further updates to said fic should not be mentioned here in order to avoid just this kind of thing, posts and posts of people requesting information. That will get really annoying. So can I suggest that if we're not going to be open about it, that we just not mention it at all in the future? If anyone else wants info, maybe just e-mail someone else that seems to know instead of posting a request (I'm not volunteering to always be that person, though). For future updates, people who are already aware won't need to be notified in this thread, so I say we drop it.

Sorry, not meaning to sound bitchy, just doesn't seem like the best use of this thread, and it is probably wise to just not mention it in the future.

If whoever is behind All Fall Down is reading...I'm loving it. It's the PERFECT fic for summer. Long and twisty and different and...spaced out so you can't gorge yourself and then regret reading it all at once the next day. Hehe. Perfection. All fandoms should do this with authors as talented.

post 2x22, it's 10 drabbles, totally not songfic, and half genfic and half Logan/Veronica. Sort of a compilation CD for the summer after S2. Sounds strange, I know, but it makes sense if you read it. Er, I hope it does, anyway! :)

fairyecho, that was lovely, I really enjoyed it. Great job! And it made perfect sense. I thought the song titles for each section fit perfectly.

I LOVED fairyecho's Shuffle and thought imogen28's Anniversary was lovely.

In older news, I wanted to voice my support for the collaborative effort behind All Fall Down. Waiting for the next installment is almost as painful as holding out over breaks during the actual show. I'm also hooked on Molasses and Taffy by wily_one24.

holly96, I agree with you that the Fic Which Shall Not Be Named should just not be mentioned here. I can understand folks wanting to know what it is, but pages of requests for info does get pretty tiresome. If the writer doesn't want the fic to be named or linked to, it's probably best to honor that request by staying mum.

I did read a great story yesterday: The Flipside. I'm a big fan of bigboobedcanuck's writing, and I think this is one of her best. We didn't get closure on Logan and Duncan's friendship on the show, but we do here.

Sorry, I have to self-pimp... this is a new fic I'm starting, and the writing is really something different than I've been used to, so I'd love to hear what people think.

I second the rec for The Flipside. It's quite lovely, especially if you find the Logan/Duncan relationship as compelling as I do.

I'm sure it has been mentioned before and I can't believe I didn't discover this fic until now but I am stopping by to rec Hollow World by bigboobedcanuck. It may very well be the best fic I have ever read. FYI some very disturbing things happen to Logan so be warned.

Okay, I've seen "Hollow World" rec'd numerous times before, but never read it. Today after checking here, I was bored out of my mind and started reading it and couldn't stop. It really is one of the best fics I've read in the fandom. And even though I was warned about the disturbing things that happen to Logan, I wasn't prepared for *that*, but the author still pulls the story off really well. It's a great read.

I have to second havenhoya's rec for Molasses and Taffy by wily_one24. It's beautifully written, and I'm hanging out for the next part...

Also enjoying polarthestral's Divided Loyalties, which was recently updated. I don't always enjoy the AU "Lilly doesn't die" fics, but the characterisations in this are great.

All Fall Down: Chapter 3 has been posted, this chapter is by mutinousmuse. I haven't had a chance to read it yet but I love the story thus far and can't wait to read more. It's a 22 part WIP, written by some of this fandom's most prominent and talented authors and it's shaping up amazingly.

fairyecho, I loved Shuffle, especially the Dick, Mac and Weevil POV, and 7-10 of the V/L. Just gorgeous.

I just finished Molasses and Taffy and am here to say: GO READ IT, GO READ IT, GO READ IT! This fic is now my canon(the way the best fanfic can become) for the missing days at the end of Not Pictured. It is no longer a WIP, so the link above takes you to the final chapter, but the previous chapters are linked there. It only gets better as the chapters go on and by the end I was in awe of it.

Also, must second the love for all of bigboobedcanuck's stories and fairyecho's Shuffle made me a happy, happy girl.

I don't usually rec fics, but this one over at vm_awesomesauce on LJ is definitely worth reading. It's a script-format take on season 3 with an actual soundtrack. The characterization is well-done and features a plausible and engaging plot. Enjoy!

kukurosario - eventually all my fic will be archived at VMfic.com. I don't friends lock to be annoying or force people to friend me, however my parents found my journal and no matter how old I am or how supportive they are of my writing, at twenty I still don't want them to see sex scenes (explicit or otherwise) that I've written. So everything that was previously posted in my journal had to be locked.

Another way to find the trailer EpicAmends mentions is to go to YouTube and type in the title of the fic in the search box. I just couldn't wait to see it and I hope that saves you some emailing EpicAmends. Thank you for pointing us to it. It's one of my favorite fics and the trailer is perfect.

Hey, I just ventured into this thread because everyone in here is like scary and talented and I feel bad when I lurk, but I picked a really good time to peek in because True Faith is awesome. OK I have to go read a lifetime of fic now, because my only VMars fic fix has been ff.net and my brain had been shrunken enough. But this thread=awesome.

First off, thanks to everyone who commented on my first stab at writing for this fandom. I really appreciate it.

Now, a request. I’ve run into a lot of severely angsty Logan/Veronica fic recently, and, it’s kind of starting to depress me. Can anyone recommend something on the less intense side? Heavy on the snark, light on the soul-sucking misery?

The only one I can find at the moment is Convincing Arguments by sadie kate (it is hot, snarky, and ridiculously cute). I meant to rec one that features scifi geekery on the part of both Logan and Veronica, but I can't remember absolutely anything else about that one right now. If I remember it, I'll post a link.

I read a fic a while back, probably the beginning of the year, and I can't find it or remember what it was called.

It was pretty long, and dealt with the aftermath of Aaron being arrested. It was entirely from Logan's POV. In the story he isn't speaking to Veronica, and I think she keeps leaving messages on his cell phone or emails that he reads/listens to but doesn't answer.

There is a scene where Logan gets Aaron to legally emacipate him and another where Logan is watching a tape of Veronica and him in the pool house the night she finds the cameras.

Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? Anyone? Anyone?
