I really enjoyed this fic. Perhaps a little too much because I want to send the writer millions of emails begging for more. Seriously, check it out, its an L/V fic and it's just smart and sweet and a bit smutty and just...everything a little fic needs.

Plus, it has a comparison of Logan to a rash...which sounds weird but oddly works and makes you giggle.

I'm warning you now that this fic is RPF so if you're not into that kind of stuff I'd suggest not reading it. However, if you do decide to read it I can pretty much guarantee you will laugh your ass off.

Still working on my multiple chapter fanfics. I worked up a draft of chapter 2 (Of the newest fanfic i've done) during class yesterday. SHould have it up by this afternoon, maybe. Also working on Chapter three on crossover fic (Veronica Mars with NCIS).

The problem isn't that it's not on topic for this thread. It's that the authors of that fic don't want it pimped in places this public.

I, too, have never been interested in RPF, but liked Liberation, which I read after hearing about it here. Also, I'm loving the Mac/Dick stories, especially Ghost World, Good Eye, Sniper, and It's Enough.

So the LoVeShack fic webspace is blocked/locked for approx. 3 weeks. Is there a way to get around it without becoming a member? I hope anyone who posts there will also crosspost their stories elsewhere.

It's easy enough to become a member. You don't even have to post if you don't want to. The reason it's currently locked to members only is because the board status is up for renewal in a couple weeks and because there are normally a ton of guests on the board at any given time (a lot more than actual members), it was going to be pretty expensive. So it's locked to members only until the price can be locked in, hopefully making it less expensive.

Some people do post their fics in multiple places, but not everyone does. So I guess either you wait until it's open again and get a whole bunch to read at once, or you become a member so you can keep up with whatever you're interested in.

Anyhow, I wrote a fic last year called Alive and I recently submitted it for the vmwhat_if challenge. We were given prompts that would change the direction of the fic and I guess I'm trying to say in a roundabout way, I'm re-writing Alive.

I don't read or write a lot of fanfic, but a very short missing scene fic popped into my head and I had to write it out. I posted it here. It features Beaver, and the scene fits into Episode 1 of Season 2, or possibly it happened briefly before that episode.

It's nothing much, but the idea amused me.

I'm looking for fic, and thought maybe you people could help me.

The vast majority of fic in the vm fandom focuses on pairings, which, for once, I don't really care for. Particularly Veronica and Logan, I get enough of that on the show.

What I do want to read about are non-romantic relationships (for pretty much anyone on the show, I like all the characters!) or something that explores a particular character without going on at great length about their love life.

VMFanficUtopia, the brainchild of several TWoP posters, is a community that runs challenges several times a year focusing on wide varieties of characters and scenarios. Most of the fic posted for challenges is not 'shipper fic, and there's a fairly wide cross-section. Here is a link to the memory section where all fics are archived; it might also provide a good starting point to find authors you enjoy. Hope it helps.

Ack. I need help. I've recently read a fic that had a scene in it with Keith and Logan talking about how Keith thought it was Logan who passed on the chlamydia to Veronica. Does that ring any bells with anyone? If so, could you post a link to it? Thanks.

It's not quite what you want, Lgodave, but I just posted a fic that is my fun with AU. It was written for the Loveathons Courthouse Smutathon, and thus is Logan/Veronica with some smut in there. It actually doesn't really spoil episode 2x22 at all.

You can vote for your favorite submissions to the Courthouse challenge here, and, if you're in the mood for some fluff, I suggest you at least read Sarah_p's Trial by Furry. I think some of us have convinced her to make this story into a series.

And Loveathons has a new challenge up. It's pretty simple. All you need is L/V Smut in the middle of a heat wave.

So I've somehow survived finals and am actually at the point where I might write things again. Shocking, I know.

So as a little reintroduction to this whole fanfic thing, I wrote probably the most schizophrenic fic I've ever done. It's Logan's thoughts the morning after the big reveal, as he waits for Veronica to wake up. Not sure what inspired it or if I even like the final product, so I'd welcome feedback of any kind.

Bunkster, when you mentioned Veronica breaking her arm you totally reminded me of Nightflower (Part 1 and Part 2). It's Season 1, written even before The Kiss, and is still one of my all-time favorites.

Delurking to recommend Hollow World. Really dark (Logan sure gets injured), but so well done and with a hopeful ending. Really loved this one.

She also wrote a great story about Logan getting injured in a car wreck and Keith taking care of him: In Case of Emergency

Funny you should ask, madSeason! There is this, What You Need, an excellent piece of crossoverness, by violaswamp. It is via sadiekate's fic rec list of awesomeness, which just keeps giving. I don't watch House, but this is enough to make me want to.

I remembered seeing this earlier in the month at veronicamarsfic. It's a fic with Lilly and Marissa, although I have no clue if it's good. I never read it, but I will now.

Hey gang, its forgetful Tundra again. A while back (a few months now) there was a fic with a descriptive scene of a young Logan (6 or 8) getting jerked out of bed by a rampaging Aaron. It resulted in a dislocated shoulder for Logan because he didn't pick up his toys, or something like that. Does anyone recall such a scene in a fic? If so, do you have a link to it? Thanks in advance.
