Hee! SunMoonStar, just before I looked at your post, in my other window I went to Chapter 2 of your story! Coincidence? I think not.

Is anyone familiar with fanfiction.net? Specifically, I'm being encouraged to put Subterfuge and Consequences on there but I'm concerned that the proper rating might be MA, not M. Can anyone advise?

I never really understood those ratings. Could someone explain please?

M stands for Mature, meaning that it's for mature audiences only. That kinda leaves it open for interpretation, but basically, I think it's referrying to anyone who is 17 or older. Many video games are rated M if they involve heavy violence and strong themes.



I've read them both(and they are emosewa!), and I think an M rating would be fine for them...after all an MA rating is more or less the same. It is to me, anyway.

Okay - I'll put them on as a single story and if I get kicked off, I'll blame you!

I'm working on another one now. Experiementing with future fic. I'm leaving town in the morning for a bidness trip though, and won't be back till Thursday, so I doubt that I'd post anything till Friday at the earliest. Or, if it's going to be long, as I expect it will be, I may post the first installment tomorrow.

Ooooh... will you write a Weevil guest appearance? Most future fics usually deal with Veronica meeting Doncan/Logan, and it'll be nice to see future Weevil.

I seriously have no idea where I'm headed with this. I have a feeling that all roads lead back to Logan, mainly 'cause I'm with such a sweet boy in real life, I have to get my bad boy fix elsewhere.

That being said, even if that's where the road leads, there are bound to be plenty of detours along the way.

Just wanted to share a link to my first full-length VM story: The Comeback: The Vanity Fair Profile.

It's speculative futurefic, with spoilers through the finale. Not really any one 'ship. It's written (hopefully) in a glossy-magazine format, the way one of them might write-up the events that went down in Neptune recently and the way the world would see them. Hope you guys enjoy.

Oooh, Yahtzee, "The Comeback" was... well, "fun" isn't exactly the right word - but it was very effective. What a mind-spinner! I could totally see this happening (in denial about Logan/Duncan & Veronica, yes, but I could see it) - and I now have to sit down and remind myself ONCE AGAIN that these are fictional characters. Yahtzee, that fic was just amazing. Disturbing, but amazing. The best part (or worst, I guess) is that it makes you realize that you never quite know the true story behind anything unless you were involved -- and the power of media manipulation, whether overt or unintentional.

What an original, perfectly-done fic, Yahtzee. It was so brilliant, so pitch-perfect - and you gave the 'reporter' such a voice. An interesting, not unbiased third-person view, that I could really see come to life. The lies that we know still exist, the public perception, seeing the characters from an outside view (a view stunned by fame), all were captured to perfection, just brilliant and real. Thank you for writing it! I hope to see more of what you do.

Oh, ITA. I already commented on this fic, but it's so brilliant that I have to comment again: the best thing about this piece is indeed, as Kelmette16 said, the reporter's voice. There were moments where I almost believed her (her?) view of things, which is very weird since I am watching this show after all.

I read that when it was first posted and thought it was great. I hate most fanfic but I certainly liked that.

Whoa, Yahtzee ...just Whoa!!! That story was too wonderful! You've just completely blown my mind, so sorry if this doesn't even give words that bring justice to that story, since I'm fiding trouble putting thought together. I loved how it was just spot on with the Vanity Fair reporter, kissing Aaron's ass and making him in to this golden hero and Trina into the loving daughter!!! Also the fine details of Haaron and Lynn's careers, like the scene in Breaking Point and Lynn at the party. It absolutley terrifies me that this might happen, but it's definitley realistic. I loved Veronica and Logon's interviews, so spot on!!!!!!
Man, I'm speechless!! There in is no way I going to be able to not think about these characters every single second now!! As if there was before, but really great fanfic.=)

Also, going to add to the love for "Past in Prologue". An excellent Logan piece, with great characterization. It has little snippets of "media" clippings which are wonderful.

Just wanted to drop a note that I wrote a light-hearted piece. Logan and Veronica are a couple in it, but it's not a romantic fic, more humorous. It also features Keith and Wallace.

Well, about the fic: I LOVE IT! I love how natural and friendly Veronica and Weevil are, and I love how Weevil turned out just fine and remained in touch with Veronica.

Hee! My favorite part. :) I really like the lighter tone you gave this chapter. As much as I appreciate angst and darkness, a lot of fics tend to get way over the top with their edginess. It's really nice that we can see that Veronica has a lot of issues with Neptune and it's people, but at the same time she can just joke around with an old friend.
I can't wait for the next chapter!

Hee hee HEE. :) I really like your fic, arabian! It's great to see an optimistic fic for a change. Again: Most of the recent fics I read were terribly angsty and dark, and while angst make good drama- there's only so much a girl can take.

This one is all kinds of dark and angsty. I've already got the first draft of the next chapter written though, and it will go back to being light.

So when do we get to see a confrontation with Logan? Or Duncan? But hopefully Logan, cause we all(well, me) LoVe Logan...okay, I think I've dropped sufficient hints! Once again great work...Can't wait for the next installment!

You'll get some Duncan in chapter 5, that I can tell you for sure. I'm hoping Logan shows up soon, too.

And I have no idea where this came from. I get a lot more creative when I'm on the road. It's why I was a vagabond writer for 2 years after college.
