I come bearing two fics - both of which were the result of my vm_santa participation. Both were for lostt1 (who might post here - perhaps with a different screen name?), and ... yeah.

Having Fun is a Casey + Veronica friendship ficlet and is a missing scene from 210.

On Shaky Ground is a Mac/Cassidy holidayfic with vague 210 references and some L/V UST in the background.

I'd love to hear what you think on either/both of these pieces - and I'm hoping to find time this weekend to get caught up on all the wonderful fanfics that have been posted and rec'd!

Herownless, I loved on Shaky Ground! The Mac/Cassidy vibe was perfect and I the UST between L and V was dead on! :) I think I'd be happy if L and V just stop dating other people and there's just that UST for a while, they don't have to start dating each other again right away!

i must reccomend Vengence Is Mine...Cliffhanger continued. It's excellent and totaly addictive. MYLOGAN is a genius and the stories are always great. This one is no exception.

I have to disagree on that one. The characterizations are absurd and the storylines are ridiculous in the extreme.

Oh good, I didn't have to be the one who said that as I believe I've already expressed my opinion about MYLOGAN's fic and this story is no better.

On a more positive note I'm second the recommendation for Dark Places Where Monsters Dwell and not just because I've always had a thing for post apocalyptic fic even in fandoms where they seem really random. That's AU (really really AU) done well.

AEFC is one of my favorite VMs and I love fics relating to that episode. Are you going to write more? I don't know what Logan was talking about when he was saying 'You really don't know?' Was he referring to Duncan still being in love with Veronica? MORE!!

I just read (ab)normal by sinaddict, and felt the need to share. It's an absolutely stunning through 210 fic, with D/V and hints of L/V. So much love.

I really enjoyed "I Keep Losing Everything About You", because it's been a long time since I've let myself read some simple L/V fic, and it's pretty funny.

"(ab)normal" was also excellent, as usual.

Maybe I just read your stories when I'm too tired, but there is one thing that I wasn't sure if we were already supposed to understand or will be clarified later: Has Duncan always been an alien, or did he recently turn into one or some other 3rd option?? LOL

Okay, I need help. Ever get a random scene from a fic stuck in your head, but you have no idea where it's from? That's me recently. I'm pretty sure it was in a fic posted in the lj community, but I could be wrong. And it would take too long to sort through the dozens of fics in my memories, and for all I know it's not even in there.

So here's the scene: Logan and Veronica are together sometime after high school (not sure whether or not they're married by this scene, or just together). Logan is a producer or writer or some other Hollywood type. Apparently the tabloids and others have been talking smack about Veronica. Logan goes on a talk show (Oprah maybe?) and defends her. Veronica watches from back home, and gets messages from various friends and family who saw him. In particular there is a message from her dad, which she plays for Logan when he gets home.

This scenario keeps popping up in my head and I'd really like to reread it (I can't remember what the rest of the fic was about). So if anyone knows what I am talking about and can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.

everyone: I'm also looking for a fic I read a long time ago but can't think of the title/author. It is an Angel/VM crossover where Spike turns Logan into a vampire. The first part was pretty hot and I can't remember where it is to see if it has been continued. If anyone remembers reading this (or better yet wrote it) and can help me out I'd super appreciate it.

Sorry for the long post but I just wanted to add one more thing:
This is the first fandom I've ever read fic for and I just have to say that there are some incredibly talented individuals on this and the other VM FF boards. For some reason I was always against the concept of fic but you guys/girls have made a believer out of me and I've started to branch out to read fic of other fandoms I like. Thanks for introducing me to a whole new way to slack off at work!

Now for my rant:
Veronica is a self-absorbed, self-righteous bitch. Logan was really insightful in the bathroom scene, questioning whether Veronica even recognized that her "righteous indignation" was jealousy. I was so mad at her in that scene. Like there is no way Logan could really be into anyone besides her without some Evil!motive. Whatever. *rolls eyes* I just wish Logan would realize that he deserves better than Veronica. Veronica and Dumbnut should just keep their heads up each others asses and leave Meg and Logan alone. I'm worried about where you might be heading (back to L/V) but I'll go along with whatever you have planned. :)
Ahem, sorry about that. I promise I'm not crazy.

As a hardcore L/V supporter, I thought there would be no way that I would like the L/M pairing...but I do. Their characterization is perfect. I can't wait for more.

Laurgan, I smiled when I read your rant; I love to see people get worked up about my chapters. As for how things will work out... I am going to remain mum for now but I will say everything has been planned out. I already know how it's going to end and I'm hoping people will stick with it until the very end.

I come in peace and garnering my first Veronica Mars fic. It's called Lather, Rinse, Repeat and it features Lilly and Christmas.

I set out this challenge of "What if's..." and choked on my own rules. Blah. Um, anyway, anything constructive would be nice. I wrote every section on a different day so they all have a different flow to them. That's not good, is it?

I have been devoting much of my fic-writing time to tackling Lamb for the fanfic100. I hit my halfway point today! If anyone's interested in checking out any of the fifty snippets I've written about Lamb, my master list is here.
