No problem, glad to be of service. And thanks for the compliment!
Edit:
Have you ever wondered what would happen if Logan Echolls were to be adopted by his distant relative, Dr. Greg House?
Yeah, I didn't either. But then I stumbled across this fic about it, and I grinned like a maniac the whole time I was reading it. So delightful. Check it out:

Kelmette16 and Her Owlness, thanks. All excellent recs. And while I enjoyed them all thoroughly, seriously, I'm still holding out hope for something sort of like Purple Skittles (which rocks, by the way), but with Veronica and Logan. I'll keep looking...

I don't usually talk up my own FanFiction but I've worked really really hard on it so far (near obsession level here!) and would love for others to read the fruits of my labors. It's my own huge conspiracy theory that, while starting small, will include pretty much everyone in the VM cast of characters. In fact, I had to make up extra characters (okay so just had to name a few PCH'ers since I don't know any names but Chardo (in jail) Felix (dead) and Weevil) It's called
The Twisted Emotions of Humans. Since it is on the LoVe boards it is heavy in the LoVe action (but the sweetness factor is pretty low....no dreamy romance...so not good at writing really romantic crap) But it's got some other interesting pairings such as V/D (for a very short while) DuKe (Duncan and Kendall) LoVe (of course) and one of my favorites LaVe (Lamb and Veronica...no I am not lying.) Plus it's evil Duncan!!!! It's got a lot of twist and turns and it's taken me a lot of time to figure out how the whole thing works. All of those interested in reading can click on the link below!
http://p092.ezboard.com/flvvmfrm36.showMes...picID=197.topicI'm in the process of writing more so....I really appreciate it if you gave it a chance 'cas I've gotten a lot of positive response so it can't totally suck!
By the way it's got some "R" rated parts so if you're under 17 ask your parents permission first...ha ha! Just kidding! Maybe not appropriate if you're like 12

Mogo, thanks for posting here about the new chapter of Holding the Curve! I went straight to bed after putting the chapter up and forgot to do that first. :) And I'm so glad you enjoyed it! (Do you have a different name on LJ? I just like to connect the dots when I can.)
YuppieLawyer, I'm sorry! I certainly didn't mean to torture anyone...even in a fun, UST kind of way. I mean, I DID mean to write excruciating UST, but torture? Nah. Forgive me and hang in there. The suffering won't last forever. :)And laciet, you too? I'm torturing you pleasantly? Um, thanks? ;)

sadie kate , I loved your new fic Visit Every Continent. What an original concept! Of VM fic genres I think I'm most hooked (currently, a girl has the right to change her mind and I often do..hee) on future fic and I honestly believe you are one of the best future fic writers I've had the pleasure of reading (along with your greatness with Veronica/Logan and Veronica/Lamb)
The subtlety of Visit Every Continent was astonishing. I loved how each "scene" was like a snapshot, very brief but very memorable. The ending was beautiful...I think for all of the wonderful angst that can be written in fiction it is supremely harder to write great fluffy/happy endings. Yours was fantastic.

Hi all!
I finally managed to get an account here, for some reason the request would never go through before. So yay! Lurking days are over!
Just wanted to thank everyone who ever gave my stuff a rec on this thread before now, very much appreciated.
On to the shameless self-promotion:
My latest two fics, if anyone's interested, are:
Hypothetical, an AU entry over at the vm_aufiction community. It's Logan and Duncan's friendship after tragedy.
and
Grayscale, my attempt at a Lambfic.
Thanks for reading everybody.

I hated fanfic before I started reading VM ones. Do you mind if I name a few favourites?
sadie kate, I've read Who Was Crying Or What They Were Crying For like for 5 times and cried every time. Sigh. I'd already love No Proper Names no matter what, but mentioning Patrick Swayze and Dirty Dancing? That's not fair game!
kur, I couldn't help crying while reading It’s Always Business With You finale. I needed it to end like this. Thank you.
queen hag, no need to mention Alive since it's one of the best I've ever read, also Quickest Way To Get Into Hell is just perfect and So! Hot! I'm a sucker for your L/V NC-17.
MissBegonia, the way tou describe how nothing else matters in Burn Inside of Me kills me. Also, The Mess Around brings out the fangirl in me and I squee. A lot.
sexycereal, I'm so in love with both Out of the Closet and Not Any Heavy Thing. The first one is hilarious, and the second one is totally smoking!
mutinousmuse, Kiss Me Deadly makes me feel so uneasy, and I'm loving it!
When the Cuddling Isn't the Best Part! skk670, just post the next part, please!
Holding The Curve is the one that made me start reading fanfic. tiana, I love you. And Stay? Oh God, it killed me. Killed me!
Sorry for such a long post, and I forgot so many others! Just wanted to say, guys, you all rock. I feel privilaged just by reading your fictions.

OMG, skk670, I'm sitting here with tears streaming down my cheeks from your latest installment. Wow. I love how you've taken the subtext of the show and made it into text by having Logan and Veronica finally discuss all the events and actions that have made their relationship so necessary but so untenable at the same time. And your description of her feelings post-rape was truly heartbreaking and painfully realistic. Outstanding job. Thank you for it.

I have a question...very early on in this thread, there's a fanfic site referred to as having great VM fanfics (fanfic.neptune-high.net). The link no longer works...there's a site that's neptune-high.net, but I don't see any fanfics on it. Does anyone know where those fanfics are now posted?

deevall, my understanding is that when Juliette revamped NH.net, she took town the fanfiction section of the site, along with the forums, and some other things that I can't remember at the moment - preferring to specialize on more topics that aren't covered as widely elsewhere in fandom.
There's plenty of other fanfiction sites around - particularly, there are sometimes seemingly endless amounts of VM fanfiction communities on LJ. I don't know who was all posting there, but I'd presume that a lot of those same stories can be found elsewhere. Was there anything in particular that you were looking for?
