Me too, sadie kate, me too. In fact, it's only writing fanfiction that's keeping time from dragging. It's so weird. I have other fics from other fandoms in half finished stages, but I hadn't felt inspired to write since just after Christmas. Logan kisses Veronica, and boom, I've churned out several one shots, and a couple more that have the potential to become longer fics if I can get up the energy to make them so. What this show has done to me. :)

I would be doing the same, except movie maker has decided that it's time for it's yearly error mode, so it's not letting me do jackshit at the moment. On the other hand, that means I had time to crank out another fic. :)

Okay, I have bitten the bullet and made my first fanfic attempt, evah. It's Logan/Veronica, surprise, surprise, and I'm nervous, because I've never done anything like this before. I just had a long car trip sitting alone in the backseat, so I thought I'd give it a go.

Like I said, I've never tried anything like this. In fact, I had to create a livejournal thing just to have a place to post it, but you guys totally made my day with your kind words. I've been in this writing rut lately, so I figured this would be a good way to jog my creative impulses - it's easy to be inspired by the great work of Rob Thomas and the VM writers.

I'm thinking of doing just a plain PWP piece -- not sure, but I'm leaning towards one. Since LoVe hooked up, all of the smut has disappeared on them. Tis a shame. Anyhoo, thanks for the kind words on the story. :)

nikki, AU means "alternate universe," as in the characters will be basically the same, but something fundamental about their world is different. For example, I just saw an AU piece in which Veronica is an acknowledged member of the Kane family, and has been raised by them.

To post a completely difficult question: I'm looking for a fic that I read, loved, and can no longer find. It's Veronica's POV, and it mentions Lilly finding out about Logan's abuse, his scars; how he wouldn't take off his shirt with her; there's a specific line about her crawling into Veronica's window at 3 in the morning, crying in frustration because he won't let Lilly help him. Any takers?

It didn't work for me either, so I tried it in IE and it worked fine. It's a nice site, but it's not at all Firefox-friendly (this made my Firefox, who I've named George, very sad). I guess the site admin is aware of this, with the IE requirement mentioned on the front page, but still - a lot of people use Firefox. It's a nice site otherwise.

Sorry I haven't been around for a while---been busy with writing and finally started to read what I write. Which is the reason for this post. Don't know if anybody has reced it yet but just in case---I have a rec for one of the really great authors out there in fanfic land. It's one of the best WeeVers I've ever read called Call Collect by Batdz Angel. Now, I love all her stuff (Rain inspired Let it Rain from me) but this one had me crying. Now, off to write my answer as to how Weevil and Veronica find out about Logan's abuse by his father.

Notes from comm: Any pairing aside from Veronica/Logan is welcome, as is gen fic and slash/femslash. To clarify, fic about Logan and Veronica seperately or in an unromantic sense is okay, just not fic about them as a couple, becoming a couple, etc.
