RichardAK, would it be possible for you to link to the first parts of your story? I don't typically read WIP, but am interested in picking up yours, but I'm also lazy. If you want to be really snazy, you could add the links to the lj post.

Chapter Six of Looking for Logan is up. I can't believe how long this story has gone on for. This was supposed to be the last chapter too. That'll teach me to go for the happy ending.

Ridicarus, A Land Down Under was awesome. I'm so slow. I never figure out the mysteries, so I was pleasantly suprised at the ending.

RichardAk, I read the first chapter of Looking for Logan but didn't read any more because of the presence of Donut untempered by Loganess (yes, I know what the title of the fic is, but I'm not rational when it comes to Logan, lol). But I decided to read the reast of your chapters anyway and I am so glad I did. Your fic is so great! You made me like Duncan. I wish he was more like that on the show.

If you are looking for something different than the standard VM fanfic, I recommend Immiscible Mixture by Queen Haq. It's a Mac/Casey pairing but still incorporates the regulars like Veronica and Logan. Nice change of pace that explores some of the minor characters.

Hello all of you excellent fanfic writers!

I have had this idea for a fanfic that I would love to see written, but I have never written any before, and am scared to try. So, I thought I'd throw it out there and see if anyone wanted to run with it....

The idea goes something like this:
It is somehow revealed that Weevil is the illegitimate son of Aaron Echolls from an affair that he had with Weevil's mom who used to help her mom, Mrs Navarro, out cleaning & stuff at Chez Echolls as a teenager. Thus, making Weevil and Logan half-brothers. It could go in a million different directions from there as far as how it comes to light, whether Weevil has known all along, what their reactions are, etc.

Any takers?

Laurgan, I'm very glad you decided to keep reading, and that you yourself were glad you did so. Thank you for your kind words about my writing; it's what keeps me writing. And don't worry, there will be more of Logan in the rest of the story.

It occurs to me though that I've never really written a Logan-centered story; he got a chapter in Talking to God and played small roles in some of my other stories, but that's about it. Maybe I'll do something more centered on him for my next story.

This is a series of 100 words drabbles (2 in each chapter). The first drabble is the thoughts of a character who didn’t really interact with ghost Lilly, about her. The second drabble in each chapter is Lilly’s beyond the grave impressions about them.

LadyD, I left feedback on your Killer Crossover post, but I just wanted to add here that I adore this fic. It's absolutely clever and entirely in character -- for both fandoms. Crossovers can go so wrong in so many ways, but this one avoids them all. So -- everyone ought to go read this one!

While I am working on the next chapter of Looking for Logan, I thought I'd issue a fic challenge: In CotT, when Lamb searches Veronica's wallet, he finds a driver's license for Lilly Kane, a San Diego State student ID, a driver's license for a 22-year-old Veronica Mars, and, of course, a massage therapist's license. Now, we know that the two fake driver's licenses had their provenance explained in CWCD; likewise, she presumably made the student ID for use in WoC. So here is your challenge: why did she have a massage therapist's license?

The only rule I'm making for this challenge is that it can't be AU (it would be too easy that way), but otherwise anything goes. Maybe the license wasn't even fake. I just want to read what people imagined was the reason she had it.

If you are going to participate, go ahead and post the story anywhere, but you should probably be sure to link to it here.

If you don't have a problem with NC-17 material, you should check out To Meet In The Middle of Impossibility by buffyx. Its excellent, very dark.

RichardAK, that would make me so happy you have no idea! I normally never read Duncan-centered fics ever. Your fics are the only exception because I love them so. I'm sorry I never leave much feedback for all you wonderful writers out there. I can't seem to figure out how to do it on livejournal, which is where I read most of them. Y'all must keep up your stories; they keep me entertained and distract me from how much I hate being an official adult.

skk, what an excellent job you did wrapping up that plot! I loved the dialogue and the interaction, especially between Aaron and Veronica. The bit about the salsas at the end was perfect.... banality of evil and dark underbelly and all that!

Today I got to wondering what happened with Logan and the 09-ers post-ATTD. Veronica was avoiding him. He told his friends they were dead to him if they had a problem with his relationship. Did he sit with the group at lunch? Did he sit by himself? Did Dick heckle him? Did he try to reconcile with Duncan?

Plus, the rest of the school must have heard about the relationship. The story of the party must have been all over school. How did people react? And what was Logan's response?

Bunkster, is your reply spoilery for the second season or the first season?

Sorry, first season. I just don't want the newbies who are just seeing the episodes for the first time this summer to get upset.
