Hi everyone! I'm back from the business trip that wouldn't end. I'm looking really forward to catching up on the huge backlog of fic. Hey, HP is no excuse. I finished it by Monday :) I think a mix of weather, vacation and laziness is to blame. This week has been slow in general, but I'm working on something new and School Daze is almost done, so.. We'll see.

Well, it seems pretty dead in here so I'll pimp an old story that I've recently continued. Both Planes Were Lost In The Crash, Veronica finds Logan five years after he ran away. It's multi-chapter but for those not into WIP the last chapter is half-written right now and will be posted before the end of the weekend.

Speaking of work, I just posted the first chapter of a new story I've started called Looking For Logan. For quite some time I stopped posting new stories because I had found my creative batteries exhausted. I started a number of different stories without really continuing them, because I just didn't know where to go with them. I knew I wanted to do an AU story in which Veronica really is Duncan's sister, but I wasn't sure where I wanted to go with it, but I think I have an idea now. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.

Great idea to do this ficathon, all you TWoPpers. It's definitely gotten me feeling more creatively stimulated, and the quick deadlines are great. We had an excellent turnout for the first round, and I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone produces for the next one. Also looking forward to some of my favorite writers maybe jumping in to the new challenge (*cough* sexycereal *cough*).

Would you believe I'm writing Duncan/Veronica fic right now? Always late to the party. I'll have to check out this next challenge, but also just wanted to drop a quick line and say that I loved Grand Canyon. Haven't managed to get round to leaving a comment yet but I'm sure I will.

bybrandy, the challenge is only for secondary and tertiary characters as defined by Mars Investigations. But if you must write about what Keith is doing this summer, I'm sure we could force ourseleves to read. Oh, the horror! Hee. But I don't think we could accept it in the challenge.

Now, Ms. James does count, and I'm sure she still has feeling for Keith. If you'd like to write a story about her that features many, many daddy-daydreams... well... (actually, if you want to go AU and say they never broke up, there would be that too).

I have a new one-parter up. It's another aftermath fic - I'm addicted to the angst of it all. Also, I didn't intend this, but this works nicely as a follow-up to Jumper and I used lines from Sleater-Kinney's Jumpers in both fics.

Sophia Bee, I loved "Lovers on the Bridge"...absolutely beautiful!

After lurking on this board for quite some time, I thought it was time to jump on in. And Sophia Bee's "Lovers on the Bridge" -- that got me. So here's to comment #1 on TWOP: Sophia Bee rocks the aftermath, Logan-jumping angle. Go you.

call me blue, your fic Worth a Thousand Words, was absolutely amazing! It was beautifully written, sweet, and answered many of the nagging questions we were left with - I loved it!!

If you're looking for a funny fic that's a bit different than the norm, I recommend Hollywood Makeover. Great stuff, and pokes fun at television in general, which I know everyone here can appreciate.
