If anyone has a lot of time to kill, there is an incredible AU fic at LiveJournal. Its an epic AU that recounts the entire season with Logan and Veronica as best friends. It was really great, but it was 30,000 words, so it takes awhile to get through...

I've been making periodic fic recommendations at my fic journal, and a comprehensive list of all ninety-three fanficts that I've recommended can be found here. I'd list off specific favorites, but really I'd just recommend checking that out. I have favorites listed from almost all the pairings and groupings that I've seen fanfiction written about, and the fics are separated as such. :)

Definitely going to be checking out this thread a bit more often, I think ... Oh, how sheltered I've been, minimizing most of my fic reading to what's posted on LJ!

I wrote a little drabble from Lamb's P.O.V. I had one line in my head that I have wanted to use since the end of the season, and I finally got it into a fic, so that's what the inspiration for it is. Well, RedFlora, I unlock everything I post on the boards, and I believe there's a first chapter of a multi-part piece unlocked as well. I just haven't posted that anywhere yet because I don't know when I'll have time to continue it, and I want to be sure that I can get a good start on the piece before I post it anywhere - because I am *notorious* [in other fandoms] for being slow to update multi-part fics. Sorry Rant, but there will be no spoilers. What there will be are more chapters, such as Chapter Three of All That Remains, which is now up. Incidentally, while I certainly don't want to give the impression that I'm ignoring all the positive feedback I have gotten, there's no ignoring the fact that this story has generated far less feedback than some of my previous work. If people aren't enjoying it, I hope they'll say so, and if they are enjoying it, I definitely hope they'll say that. Thanks again.

I'll admit it, I have something against Duncan. I've never liked the character for some reason, but I'm really enjoying All That Remains. I was very amused by the twist in Jake's office.

Encore, I'm glad you're enjoying the series and the crossover. I was worried it wouldn't really work.

One of my friends emailed me a link to To Hold A Heart That Quits and I think it is one of the best fics out there from Lilly's POV. Lilly deals with Veronica, Duncan, and all her "lovahs" after LitB.

I'm getting a fair amount of that reaction Triteia. A lot of people just are not Duncan fans. I'm glad you're enjoying the story anyway. Chapter Four is up.

Looking back on my life, there are certain undeniable truths. I am less open-minded than I think I am. If I really think I am right, I will argue it to death even though I am probably wrong. And, most relevantly to this post, I have such bad timing that it is uncanny. From buying a house at the peak of a housing boom that fell the following week to finally getting my act together after months of procrastination the day after it’s too late, it is a knack. Possibly, I should be proud. Pragmatically, it isn’t that useful a skill.

This babble is to say that I have attempted another piece of fiction. It is not AU, it is not supposing a key event changed, it is not Logan/Veronica or love of any kind, and it is not any of the things that seem to generate lots of comments. But it is here. It is called "The Clash of the Trite Ones."

Actually, there is some love. Perverse, perverted, possibly paedophilic, but, I think, love nonetheless.

Sorcha, I'm a huge fan. I too cannot wait for the next chapter of Oh, So Cadaveric. I didn't get on to that particular fic until you were well into it. I caught up in one sitting because I simply could not get enough of it and had to know what happened next. Hope you update soon.
