On the other hand, you had blatant exemption-chasing like Kelly. He wasn't seeking a leadership role, just a safe ticket to the next week. I think the lack of the exemption in TA1 encouraged actual leadership rather than a get-out-of-the-Boardroom-free card. [/quote]
I think more talent and ability encouraged actual leadership in the first round. By the end of TA1, it became clear the show was more about "TV entertainment" then actual business acumen. Really, it was the 2nd and 3rd time wiggling butts resulted in a "win", the dealio became clear.

I would argue that people shunned the PM spot because Trump kept firing losing PMs.

I would really, really like to see the final tasks assigned randomly. I thought the final episode of this last season, Kendra's task was ridiculously easier than Tana's. (Just my opinion) I know that it can be hard to find equitable tasks, but at least assign them randomly so it doesn't appear that they're handpicking the winner with the assignment given.

I think if they had had eachother's tasks, that Kendra would have still won. Tana would have been able to manage the game thing well (Since she's all hip to the jive of ALL pop culture :P ). But, I think Kendra would have aced the Olympics thing. Even if they both got the same amount of praise from the event honchos, I think Olympic honchos beat out Game honchos.
In any event, I believe that they were assigned to their respective events because of their ages. Young Kendra for the young gamers and Older Tana for the older olympic comittee people. I think that Trump didn't want to give Kendra the Olympic task because she seemed to young to be in charge of a high and mighty Olympic bid task.

My God, I had to go to page 5 to find this thread. Anyway, IF there are more seasons, based on something I just read in the episode thread AND if anyone still cares, one good change might be to make the winner have to win by a certain percentage not just by "a penny" or more. This season it is annoying and unsatisfying that Heidi is revered as a great PM with what some people pointed out are very small percentage wins. It has happened in the past as well though the only example that comes to mind at the moment is the season two show where one team won by something like $10 when they sold stuff on PVC or whatever.
While in most cases, whoever got fired on these episodes deserved it for one reason or another (Carey, for example, while an interesting guy, greatly miscalculated who he was selling to and deserved to go for that and for the fact that the team lost because the men's suits did not sell.), the margin was too small for the other team to get such rewards for winning. Winning by a certain margin would be a much more interesting twist than making the losing team play survivor.
