I agree that the candidates will be divided by age. Based on the NBC preview photographs, it looks as if Jennifer W. and Mark are on the same team, so no division by gender. If the teams are divided by age, the division would likely be 22-28 years old, and 29 +. This puts
Adam, Brian, Chris, Clay, James, Jennifer M., Kristi, Marshawn and Rebecca in the first group, and
Alla, Jennifer W., Josh, Mark, Markus, Melissa, Randal, Felisha and Toral in the second group.
As far as the other questions, I haven't gotten too far yet. For question #3, the answer is unlikely to be "an unlimited credit card," since that would be a hugely unfair advantage, or "being New Yorkers," since (I think) there's only two candidates from New York in this group. [ETA: correction, three New Yorkers.] Maybe "faster transportation"?
For number 5, I'm thinking
Alla is the candidate that the other team members find difficult to stomach. My initial impression of her is that she's inclined to be obnoxious.
I also think that Markus won't be around long, although perhaps he won't be fired this week or next week. He has that "offbeat creative entrepreneur" air about him that marks him for an early exit.
I just read your updated post,
AmberDawn, and I'm also inclined to think it's Adam or Markus. If the teams are divided by age, then Adam (as the youngest) and Markus (as the oldest) would be on different teams. Maybe the younger teams loses, and Adam is the likeliest firee for this week?
P.S. Bren's new Yahoo!site column is posted
here. Snark supreme--in fact, if this column sets the tone for the rest of the season, he'll be the harshest snarker yet, of the various commentators. Some samples:
Alla
Oh my God, where do I start? Apparently, "Alla" is Russian for "Vegas Stripper." Don't get me wrong. After all, I am a former prosecutor and a current member of the criminal defense bar. I hold a special place in my heart for those engaged in the, um, performing arts. I'm curious, did Marky B install a pole in the suite just for you? Did the boys get any two-for-one specials on lap dances? Don't worry folks; Alla has thick skin. It's a trait found in all reptiles.
Brian
Finally, someone who is shorter than me. Your height (or lack thereof) doesn't bother you like it used to? Oh really? Is that why you are five feet one AND A HALF inches? Actually, this guy has staying power. The Donald likes to keep short people around him. Why do you think I lasted so long?
Jennifer M.
Oh how Donnie has doted on you. I bet you just love the attention. Darlin' ...anything short of walking on water will be a real disappointment.

Hi everyone. My spoilering will be far more limited this season than last. My main source has moved on, and what I have left is not much - someone who is involved with some, but not all of the production. I know nothing about Episodes 1 or 2. But I do know something about Episode 3 that allows me to make the following spoilers:
1. Rebecca is seen in Episode 3 having been injured. I understand she was injured during a reward in the previous task. Thus, Rebecca is not fired in the first 2 episodes, and her team wins episode 2.
2. Episode 3 does not involve Dick's Sporting Goods (it involves old people, actually - senior centers, I think). Thus, we know Rebecca makes it past Episode 3, too (and Josh, if he was who was spotted in the Dick's Sporting Goods task).
3. Markus is seen in Episode 3. Therefore, he isn't fired in the first two episodes, either.
4. My source mentioned one other guy from Episode 3, but I cannot remember if it was Jacob, James, or Josh. Sorry.
That's all I have. I am of absolutely no help on the Yahoo questions. Unless, that is, you subscribe to Amber Dawn's process of elimination. Then I just helped you figure out who is fired in Episode 1!

I think Bren is my new Internet Husband.
For the fantasy game, my guess would actually be on "being New Yorkers." Transportation for the candidates has always seemed to be fairly equal -- they seem to be either in cars provided by the show or at the mercy of the city. If they're doing a street-hustling task (...again), then it would make sense that the group with the most New Yorkers would be perceived to be at an advantage.
