Okay, it was good in that some of the promised things didn't happen--no QVC Darlene, no Trump Improved and Better WTC model--and Kendra won, although I had no serious doubt about it. However, as a Yahoo! Fantasy Gamer, I'm ticked, because most of the questions didn't reflect the episode. No one really recommended anyone, just gave their comments, and several of the questioneers weren't even interviewed. So, what do you think? Should they add 1000 points to everyone's score and call it a day?
Here's an idea for anyone who goes - take a bag of bitches and present them to Tana as a lovely parting gift . . . which she'll probably need after tonite's smackdown - oops, I mean finale.
It WAS a smackdown, and on a basis that I can entirely agree with--it's sucky to treat your employees like dirt under your feet. Yay!!! That's why you were fired, Tana, even if it takes a while to penetrate the layers of Mary Kay makeup. Even Boyfriend Bill came around, despite some of his earlier support for Tana's candidacy. And, I don't give The Donald credit for much, but I do give him credit for hammering (relatively gently, but steadily) Tana for her lousy attitude toward her team, and making it clear that she blew it for exactly that reason. Good judgement, Donald. Kudos to The Hair! (That exclamation may never happen again.)

Fantasy Gamers, I want to take the time out and congratulate you all on a job well done. I really hope that a TWoPer takes the number one spot. I did horrible because of picking Tana after Tara was fired. Everyone else was fantastic. Thanks to Cooler, spindotdat, CheekyCricket, and many others for all of the help and spoilers. I'll miss you all until MS or TA4 starts. It's been a fun journey. This was my first season on TWoP and I enjoyed it a great deal. I never would've come here if it weren't for Miss Lovely Alli and Google.
I hope one day I can add more than my own two cents if they'd only tape this shit in lovely LA. We're the home of Hollywood movies yet most reality shows are shot elsewhere.
Cooler, I hope you had a blast at the show and any parties you attended. I also hope your friend wasn't mad at you for sharing with us. I truly appreciated it along with how much I appreciated everyone else here.
For anyone who dares to bid on the Apprenti at the auction, may the force be with you.

I really think they missed a lot that they should've shown us. ITA with the above info. I watched and am now thoroughly confused as to what the answers for the fantasy game were supposed to be. I'm sure I've moved down from my #11 spot (boo hoo!)

Wow, this final fantasy game set really killed me - dropped from #8 down to a tie for #38! And Dorothy, who had first place locked up as far back as I can remember, wound up at #138.
Now I've forgotten... who's "Fire Trump"? I think you're the highest of the TWOP players at #37. Congratulations!
My deepest gratitude to all the spoilers and interpreters out there, especially cooler, spindotdat, and let us not forget Outside Food and the intrepid Coworker Barry. See you all soon when the TA4 names are released! (or is Martha Stewart's version airing first?)

I got the same message! As for the game...I went from 11 to 254! I don't see how not even asking some of the contestants counts. The questions just didn't seems right. Even though Carolyn didn't specifically say I want Kendra...you know she meant it, George too with his "out of the ballpark" comment. How disappointing!

Don't bother looking for my name, I'm way down at 803 from 71 last week (also, I use my Yahoo! account name which predates my joining TWoP). I still don't like the way most of those questions were framed, since the implication (as I read the questions) was that Carolyn, George and the firees would be asked to make a recommendation, but that didn't happen, and . . . oh well, sour grapes. Congrats to Hail Eris, Impromptu, and all the other TWoPers who moved up.
I will now go wallow in my general air of Loser-ness . . .
Hey, I just looked, and there was a total of 18757 players, so I ended up in the upper 5% after all (of course, that probably includes people who only played once or twice, but no need to quibble).

Magsi2, they are definitely filming now. My son was told to deliver a piece of equipment to Keyspan Park today (in Coney Island, the Mets farm club stadium). They were using the equipment for The Apprentice filming. Of course I grilled him for any descriptions of people and he said all he saw was security.. tons of security.. but not Apprenti. the charity softball game turned into everyone being crammed into the locker room for outback catering and a pretty miserable celeb auction. Trump had to bribe one of the members of G-Unit to bid on a project Runway model who put herself up for auction, and she only garnered $600 at that. Sugar ray Leonard, jerome williams, jerry o'connel, g-unit, the queer eye guys, and the gastineau girls are some of the people i remember.

If they were having a large charity softball event....could it be that it is one of the events for the final 2?
I guess it could be like the charity auction in S1 where both teams had to come up with stuff to be auctioned. I think that was the "experience". S2 would have been..?...I don't remember! and S3 would have been the fuse rock auction.

A charity softball match doesn't sound large-scale enough for a final task, unless there's some kind of corporate sponsorship or if celebrities are involved. (But I've been trying to find some sort of comprehensive schedule for Coney Island--no luck so far.) Also, you're right, there wasn't an auction-related task in the second season.

the field wasn't covered, it rained, hence no softball game. It was associated with Trump's pet charity for autism. It was the final 2 task and yes there were the celebs I mentioned before. Auctioned off items were selected by the autism charity like Sugar ray Leonard autographed stuff, a u2 concert, and a family suite at Keyspan.

Woo! It's a final event, and part of the event actually was cancelled because of weather. That possibility was dangled in front of us during season 1 (frost on Bill's golf course) and season 2 (rain, rain, rain, would the polo field dry out in time to have some corporate logo painted on). I'll be interested to see how that misfortune is figured in, in terms of the event evaluation: since it was a final two task, then it may depend on whether it was the PM's responsibility to see that the field was covered. Or, on whether the other task ran into an equally unfortunate turn of events.

Hi everyone:
I'm back with dirt on one of the first few episodes of the upcoming season (not sure which episode yet)! Would you believe that the Apprentice 4 crew actually has to work with an ADVERTISING AGENCY to film a COMMERCIAL for a PRODUCT? Hope there are no cucumbers in this one, though, because I believe the product is some sort of GM automobile. May get more details later. The reward involves carousing with ATHLETES from a MAJOR NEW YORK SPORTS TEAM. And one of the female apprenti gets injured during the carousing (wasn't someone wearing a cast in one of the previously-announced spoilers?).
Sorry for the all-caps, but I wanted to emphasize the genericness of it all (see Knicks from last season, Donny Deutsch, etc.). I'll be back in August with more.
Until then...

Word is that Mr. Cucumber himself, Bren will be hosting the Yahoo site for TA4. He will be giving the commentary and blogging for the fans---just when you thought it was safe to return to the produce section of your supermarket...
Bad News...my source was promoted (good news for her) to production for Mark Burnett because he wants to break away from reality and into made-for-TV-movies and wants to have a "Da Vinci Code/Revelations" movie made, edited and ready for sweeps week in November, so I will not have the same inside scoop I did from TA3...but I am still gonna try to work on it.

They were at the Woodbridge Mall in New Jersey (a second team was at a NY mall) at Dick's Sporting Goods. So I assume they were still filming out of New York and Trump Tower.

George Lucas will be on TA4. From
TVGuide.com...
SITH SENSE: Donald Trump has hired Star Wars mastermind George Lucas to appear in the upcoming fourth season of The Apprentice. According to Advertising Age, Lucas will decide which team comes up with the better concept to promote the DVD for Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith. A lightsabre duel between Omarosa and Ereka Vitrini, perhaps?[/quote]

I wasn't able to link to the TV Guide article, but according to some of the Star Wars fansites, the tentative release date for the Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith DVD is November 8th (which is a Tuesday).
The scuttlebutt I've been reading is that the DVD is expected to do better than the actual movie, since the PG-13 rating has kept younger kids out of the movie theaters. (And if you've seen the movie, you know that there's good reasons for that rating.) So, curious to see what the next group of Apprenticistas will come up with in terms of promotional ideas. The Season 3 crew was noticeably weak on promotion/marketing skills, so hopefully the incoming group will be stronger, given how many of the tasks are promotion-related (and I don't expect that to change).
Update: The release date has now been set for November 1st, so if the promotional campaign episode is tied to the release date (which is pretty much what's happened so far), we can figure that episode will air on November 3rd, or possibly the week before, which would be October 27th.

Maybe this is true but I'm very skeptical that Trump would allow his son's girlfriend to compete on this show. Most national contests and game shows that are subject to government regulation (like the FCC) have strict rules against nepotism. People who are related to or romantically involved with the contest's employers or employees are usually not qualified to enter. For legal and ethical reasons, it just would be bad for any "significant other" of Trump's children to be on this show.
Besides, why would a girlfriend of Trump's son need to be on this show to get a job with Trump? It would be easier for her just to ask her boyfriend for his help in landing her a job with Trump, and she could avoid all the crap you have to go through to be on a reality show like this. Mark Burnett has already gotten sued for showing "favoritism" to certain cast members on "Survivor" in order to manipulate the outcome, and he could open himself up to more legal trouble if he allowed anyone personally involved with Trump or his children to be on "The Apprentice." It's also bad PR. So if it's true, it could get very messy for the producers of this show.

But I agree - that's highly unlikely they'll let her participate...

The new season for TA4 is scheduled to start September 22, 2005 with 18 people. That seems late and puts you into January for the finale if you do the math. Maybe he fires an entire team of 3 or 4 people this time, because my understanding is that the finale is the week before Christmas-on the 15th.

I don't know how reliable the source is, but I do know that this girl goes/went to my alma mater, and they did have auditions there. I don't know why she would need to audition, but I have heard on more than one occasion that she did audition.
