Right, but she's going back this week, and likely as losing PM as well.

Maybe, that could depend on who chooses her to move. If Trump has the NetWorth PM (Alex, since he's the only remaining NetWorth person at the start of the episode), choose his teammate like he has been doing the rest of the season, then Tana would just be an employee. But Alex was also PM last week. Has there ever been a situation like this before? Would Trump allow him to PM twice in a row? But yeah, Trump could also do what he did with Pamela last season and say "Hey Tana, you've been winning, go help the loser".

It's been spolied that Trumpy moves Tana over to Net Worth. Which is smart in a way, because that way, he doesn't have to fire either Kendra or Tana no matter who loses. Can you imagine if he let Alex choose at this point, and if Alex chose Craig and somehow proceeded to win the task? Goodbye all female final! Alex would have made it to the interviews if the Kendra/Craig team lost, because then Trumpy would likely have fired Craig. Either way, I think coming into the next task, both Alex and Craig were dead Apprenti bumbling...

THE FINAL FOUR APPRENTI TRY ON HANES THIS WEEK ON NBC'S "THE APPRENTICE"
Published: April 26, 2005
THE WINNING DUO GETS TREATED TO A "TOP GUN" AIR COMBAT REWARD
NEW YORK -- April 26, 2005 -- It's down to the final four on NBC's "The Apprentice" with Alex left team-less after last week's boardroom and facing the intimidating trio of Tana, Kendra and Craig (Thursday, April 28, 9-10pm ET/PT). Donald Trump, however, immediately summons the four remaining candidates back down to the lobby to let Alex choose a teammate from the opposing squad. His decision rattles "Magna" setting the stage for a competitive final four showdown.
Trump assigns the teams to create and design a commemorative t-shirt for apparel giant Hanes that will "celebrate fifty years of t-shirt culture." Each team works with a renowned pop-culture artist-Romero Britto for "Magna" and Burton Morris for "Net Worth"-to manufacture the t-shirt and sell it for one day at the Manhattan fashion boutique "Scoop." The team that generates the most profit wins.
During the task, one team scores a marketing coupe by working with the artist's fan database while the other team bedazzles their product with rhinestones and kicks up profit considerably. Back in the boardroom, Trump ignores George & Carolyn's wishes and unleashes an unexpected cobra.
The winning duo takes off to the skies during a "Top Gun" air combat reward.
Remaining Candidates:
"NET WORTH": Alex plus one member from "Magna"
"MAGNA": Kendra, Tana, and Craig
"The classic T-shirt is a must-have in everyone's wardrobe, helping people express their individual style for an amazing fifty years," said Sidney Falken, Hanes Brand Champion. "Hanes was thrilled to partner with The Apprentice in celebration of this milestone, and we were so impressed with both original designs that we are going to begin selling them immediately following the air-date." Consumers can visit Hanes.com on how to buy these Hanes T-Shirts.
Why, I'll be rushing online to buy it, just like I did with the Apprentice Whirligig Monster-Caddy!
So, Alex chooses Tana. I bet Craig and Kendra are pretty rattled when they realize they have to work together. Also, what's this about Trump ignoring George and Carolyn, and unleashing an "unexpected cobra"? (Someone at NBC should be fined for unleashing that expression.) Do they want him to fire Tana instead of Alex? Or is this more preview puffery? Considering that Alex has had a miserable run of late, I wouldn't call his firing "unexpected."

Huh...I'd thought that Trump himself would choose to switch Tana over to NW. If it really was Alex, it's not a bad strategy for him to leave Kendra & Craig together, but as we know, those two manage to pull out a win.
Back in the boardroom, Trump ignores George & Carolyn's wishes and unleashes an unexpected cobra.

Very interesting. I hope they show Kendra and Craig's reactions after he chooses. Priceless.
They may want her fired because she's the PM and screws something up. Since Alex's losing record is so bad, he'll fire him instead. Read: He needs 2 women for the final 3 so Metroboy is history.

Probably the smartest move Alex has made on the show, although it didn't pan out. Oops, sorry Alex, maybe next time.

Ah. So pehaps Craig gives unauthorized discounts to boost sales, or out of spite in an effort to lose and get Kendra fired. This should be fun.
During the task, one team scores a marketing coupe by working with the artist's fan database while the other team bedazzles their product with rhinestones and kicks up profit considerably.
Another Kendra marketing success. Think Craig will fight it tooth and nail the whole way? Or will he realize the young lady actually has good ideas?
Back in the boardroom, Trump ignores George & Carolyn's wishes and unleashes an unexpected cobra.
Okay, now I'm more sure than before that Tana is the one who says that Mr. Trump wants to fire her. She must have done a lousy job, thoroughly annoying the Viceroys who will both recommend that Trump fire her. Yet Trump fires Alex - maybe he thinks that Tana's overall record excuses one bad task, or that degree-holding Alex should have magically saved the task?

I think it might just be tricky wording, the "unexpected cobra". It doesn't say Trump fires somebody against Carolyn and George's wishes, just that he goes against them about something. Maybe the Donald brings up the Pontiac task and that's what Tana is taken to task for, maybe Carolyn and George don't think he should go there. I don't know, but I think the wording is too fancy to be taken so straightforward.
Plus unless Tana is a complete mess here and Alex a star, or if Tana does something to really offend Carolyn and George, I can't see them taking up for Alex over Tana. If Tana really does something so horrendous wouldn't it be alluded to in either the promo, fantasy questions, or press release. I mean, if there was going to be major drama the tv people would want us to know. Plus the way the rest of the press release is worded doesn't make it seem like Networth had any major blunders, just that they didn't do as well.

Except for the hated phrase, this is one of the better previews, in terms of information. I notice that Hanes likes both of the t-shirt designs, so I imagine that the loss likely won't be attributed to flaws in the concept and design, but something with the marketing and management.
So pehaps Craig gives unauthorized discounts to boost sales, or out of spite in an effort to lose and get Kendra fired.
I'd say it's in order to boost sales. If Craig gives unauthorized discounts, maybe Trump's decision to give the victory to Magna is what George and Carolyn disagree with? Ah well, plenty of possible angles for speculation . . .
YourNightmare
Apr 26, 2005 @ 3:00 pm
The discounts may be unauthorized by Kendra who is probably the PM. I doubt Trump, Carolyn or George would care at all how they were sold or what they were sold for. It's been about the bottom line in these types of tasks.
I don't even see Trump asking Craig about it, if it happened. When a team wins, he usually doesn't get too chatty with them about it. If there was another task, I'd bet it would come up if Kendra had a chance to nail Craig.
I wonder how long this list is against Tana. Would Alex even know about her falling asleep on the Pontiac task? He's been off her team for 3 tasks now I think.
At some point Trump says "you would have been better off telling the truth" or something to that effect. Alex does something that gets him fired even though Tana is probably the PM. Maybe he lies about the list and makes up shit. We've never seen Tana defend herself before because she's never had to. It should be semi-decent TV. Not much else to hope for, now that Chris is gone. Okay, I was mildly confused due to it being the wee hours. At first I was thinking that they did a car giveaway or something, then I realized it had to be coup. A bit slow on the uptake this morning.
Ah well, I did find some more information about the finale.
Track stars to be part of TA3 final task. IAAF.org 9th paragraph.
<snip>In a few weeks, (Justin Gatlin, the "World's Fastest Man"), along with Maurice Greene, Lauryn Williams and Allyson Felix, will make a racing appearance on the season’s finale of “The Apprentice,” one of the top-rated television shows in the U.S. “Yes,” he said, Donald Trump was there watching.
So we know they've got some track stars appearing. And we've seen gymnasts too. Do we have anything about the video game championship? I've been looking but have found nada.

However, I don't believe for an instant that occurred to Alex.
ETA: That's an interesting idea charleyhorse. That makes some sense if that's the way it went down. Although, book smarts vs. street smarts hasn't been mentioned by Trump in about 11 episodes. Go figure. I bet it's the entire theme during the finale.

Just heard Trump promoting tonight's show on Imus. In answering Imus's question as to who the final four were, when he mentioned Kendra he said "And Kendra's been doing very good" and "Craig's been doing very good. So we'll see what happens tonight." He names Tana and Alex, but doesn't give any editorial remarks. So Imus asks who the guy in the boardroom was last week, Trump says "Alex. He's there tonight, too."
So is Trump telling us the final two will be Craig and Kendra? Or is he telling us nothing? I just found it interesting that he was moved to praise Kendra and Craig, but not Alex and Tana.
All my "quotes" are paraphrased, by the way.
And...if Craig does make it to the final two, I'll be so pissed. Ditto with Alex.
Just a note: Whenever Trump refers to the A4 group he says "the cast" -- not "the candidates". It sounds as though there's no longer even any pretense that it's a serious job interview -- just good tv.

In other words, the sneak preview clip is available on Yahoo and - surprise! - Craig and Kendra are squabbling. Craig bitches about Kendra's time management problems in a confessional, then we see some rather pointless arguing about how Craig feels Kendra doesn't listen to his suggestions. He appears to be disgruntled because he wanted a star design, and she insisted on a heart one. Carolyn contemplates whether this poor relationship will hurt them in the end. (we in the Spoiler thread know otherwise)

Hmm, only thing I can think of is maybe Donald pointed out Kendra and Craig as being good because they won this particular task despite all their fighting. You know I can already hear Trump in the boardroom going on and on to Alex/Tana about how they got beat by two people that can't stand each other. Shades of the final task last year with Sandy/Jen beating Kelly/Kevin/Ivana.
Maybe he didn't say anything about Alex or Tana because he already pretty much flat out said Alex lands himself in the boardroom tonight. If he were to praise Tana too it would be pretty damn obvious who was getting fired tonight. He needs to keep some sort of mystery about the show.

So after Michael was fired, I mused - what did he mean by "Are you ready for the TAKEOVER?" on his website. And his website did say - stay tuned for much more of him. I'm now thinking this takeover crap has to do with the finale, now that we know Michael is indeed coming back. Should be entertaining TV.
One other observation: Kendra's real estate company has expanded from Florida into Las Vegas, too. Should she get the job, I would not be surprised if she takes the project that Kelly passed: the new Trump extravaganza in Las Vegas.

As a former beauty queen (not!) and native Las Vegas resident, all I have to say is cool! Real Estate here is booming (in the last year and a half, median price on houses jumped from $150,000 to almost $300,000) and "Vertical Living" is really attracting people (high rise condos, very New York chic).

Which is why it would seem the answer to that fantasy question about what Craig gets caught doing is "lying." About what, I'm not sure, but I certainly wouldn't put lying past the guy. Of course, if that comment is directed to Craig that means it is said to him during the BR when the results are brought (I think someone upthread said that the results are announced in the BR). msiowa, I don't think Tana's interview means that she has been fired. She is doing a promo for a children's book she has written, and I'd bet it has more to do with flogging her book. Odd, considering spoilers indicate her team did not win the task. I do think it has been interesting that Tana's performance on TA has gotten coverage on Des Moines' NBC affiliate, WHO-TV, while Tana's husband is a weathercaster (with a very annoying manner!) for the local CBS affiliate, KCCI-TV.

She is also pushing some T-shirt that purports to be the design from tonight's show. Odd, considering spoilers indicate her team did not win the task.
In the longer NBC preview, the Hanes people said that they liked both designs and would be selling both. Which makes sense to me, since I thought the actual artwork was similar (though it would have be funnier if both teams decided on stars with wings). I preferred New Worth's T-shirt, especially with the artwork on the back of the t-shirt and the choice of two colors, but I'm not really a fan of pop art, so what do I know? How Tana would have wrangled the rights to sell that particular shirt, I don't know, particularly since Alex seemed to have more to do with the actual logo design and artwork: maybe she's working with Hanes.
