The TV gods love me this week.
For over a month all I've asked for is Chris to cry in the boardroom when he got fired.
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
What a fruitcake.
On a side note, I got every single question right on Fantasy last week with the max bonus which put me in the top 100. I was thrilled to say the least. I even missed the first two episodes. (Fantasy Apprentice led me to TWoP for which I'll always be grateful.) My point is that when I answered the questions this week I really felt unsure of almost every one except Chris getting fired. I wonder if I'm not paying close enough attention anymore or if reading everyone's opinions is starting to pull me in different directions. I love seeing everyone's viewpoints in here, from spoilers to speculation but I think I lost some of my own intuition in the process. Does anyone ever feel the same?
Oh well, it's worth it!

An unlikely hero emerges during the task and blows away the competition with their creativity and dedication.
Who's an unlikely hero? Frankly, I'd want to say Alex, since he hasn't shown much actual usefulness through most of the tasks. However, I'm pretty sure this refers to someone on the winning team. I could see Tana being the hero...
Both teams attempt to pull all-nighters to complete the task but one project manager is left alone by their sleepy colleagues.
Well, that answers one of the fantasy game questions.

Oh, most definitely. I'll read the questions, come up with answers, and then come here and second-guess myself (and third-guess, and so on). So far, so good - right now I'm ranked 20th even after missing the first week and seriously screwing up week 5 (Airstream). AmberDawn still blows the rest of us out of the water, of course!
Must remember to make extra popcorn for this week's Boardroom. I must admit a certain odd fondess for Chris, but am still greatly looking forward to the meltdown. But darn it, I was hoping for ranting and screaming and jumping up and down, not pitiful sobbing!

This is what sucks as far as NBC stacking the deck to have two women from each team in the final two. After Bren is fired, Alex is alone against Tana/Kendra/Craig. It is Donald who moves Tana to Alex's team, not Alex choosing someone, or Magna moving someone. Donald's actions ensure one woman from each team, and then the firings are Alex, Craig, and finally the two.
I am about to meet my friend/source at Bar 89 on Mercer street, so I will try to find out some more info.
As far as my earlier postings about Kendra go, I asked again, and I was told that what I posted was the truth. She is about to be pulled into a nasty divorce. The producers found out about it before she did, and apparently everyone behind the scenes from Mark Burnette and NBC were freaking out due to scandal potential.
In Cooler'sopinion, in spite of the drama, it will still be Kendra as the final chosen one, because she was never in the boardroom except for being on the team of the one that lost the task, and she is from Florida, and Trump is building some type of 100 story building in Tampa, but that is only my speculation.

Not knowing the facts about it, (did they fool around while he was still 'with' his wife or was the marriage obviously over), the only things that would be my concern is a) did this affect her job in any way or her co-workers and b) will this affect her job is she wins.
Divorces are costly and time consuming. I seriously doubt Trump will be happy she has to take a lot of time off for depositions or attorney meetings. ETA: Possibly she shouldn't have to be involved since it's between the husband and wife ultimately. But if this is all true, is Kendra and this man still together? If she loses, will she be going back to work for him?
All that said, I still like her better than Tana. I think she is smarter, more driven and less goofy. I'd prefer to work for someone like Kendra than Tana but I'm very different professionally than out of the office. I think Tana is a better person based on what we've seen and people would get along better with Tana (out of the workplace). I've never been one that needed to 'like' my bosses though. I'd prefer to love their work ethic than their personality.

I could see Tana being the hero...
But she would be a "likely" hero, not an "unlikely" one, especially being the winning PM on the last task. That's stretching it too far, even for the NBC promo monkeys.
Kinda interesting how many of this thread are in the top 50. That's me at 43, so I am reasonably proud. I agree that this week's questions are hard. Mainly because they could mean so many different things.
Not the top 50 here, but I just broke into the top 100 too. Like a few others, I missed the first episode's questions: unfortunately, I haven't gotten much in the way of bonus points either, since I usually change at least one answer on Wednesday or Thursday. Sometimes I regret that later, sometimes not. Given the ambiguity of several questions on this week's list, I'll probably change another answer or two when the Yahoo! video preview comes out. But, nice to be in good company.

The first point, I agree with, but the second point, true, Trump is building something in Tampa, but then again, he's building stuff all over the country. I recall hearing something last fall about a huge residential project in (maybe) St. Louis(?), or a nearby Midwestern city that he was trying to negotiate, although the deal hit some rough spots and may have fallen through by now.

Obviously, I can't picture DT feeling bad over firing either Chris, Alex, or Bren.
See, now, I think DT has made his love for Chris pretty darn apparent. I can TOTALLY see him feeling bad for firing him, giving him some pep talk about "potential" and "growing out of bad habits", and finishing with "someday this could be you...just not today." Alternatively (although I'm sticking with the Chris firing), I could also see Alex losing it and crying. I don't feel the same DT-Alex love, though, so I doubt Trump would take pity on him. I think Alex only looked better to DT in comparison to Angie. Now that Angie's gone, Chris is the hard-on favorite.

Actually, I remember hearing Tana make that "Oh God" comment in an earlier episode this season so I highly doubt that Magna is going to the Boardroom this week.
As for Chris, I can't wait for him to start crying. I'm sure the Donald will feel bad for him. Trump has spared him for 4 weeks now and practically gave him the benefit of the doubt in a couple of those boardrooms. If Trump didn't like Chris, he would have probably been gone instead of Erin or Steph.

From various articles on the media thread, we now have confirmation that the finale will be aired on May 19. And it will be one hour! Considering that the April 28 episode will narrow the field down to the final 3, I still have no ideal what's going to be on my TV May 5 and May 12. I still predict a second clip show.
One poster, after hearing Trump on a radio interview, reports that season 4 will start filming in a few weeks. Everyone be on the lookout!

Sounds like a good prediction, especially since the grand finale will only be an hour.(Amen, hallelujah! No time for Regis or Omarosa or clammed-up Calamari.) Perhaps interviews and first part of the task on the 5th, clip show on the 12th?
I think Trump would feel bad if any of them started sobbing. Or at least pretend to.
I'm still having a hard time envisioning Chris sobbing, but maybe if he really really really believes that he's a future Trump . . . If Alex or Bren broke down sobbing, I think Trump would want to laugh, and would have to pretend to feel bad, but since he seems to see raw potential in Chris, maybe he'll be more empathetic? Yikes, the thought of an empathetic Trump is making my head spin.

Am i to presume, base don Trump's comments abotu how "no onw wanted to see a reunion" that there will be no reunion of the cast at this year's finale? How will they fill the show?

Well, we know that Alex is already a "star" and Kendra, Tana, and Craig have all had moments of "being the hero" for the team.
So...least likely hero? That would be Chris.
But since Chris is also "The Most Likely to Breakdown in the BR", my guess for the unexpected hero (and probably PM of the winning team) would be..."Mr. Cucumber" himself.

I wonder if Tana will have immunity that episode?
YourNightmare
Apr 13, 2005 @ 3:27 am
I believe immunity is gone in the final 4.
How many think Trump purposely made sure Tana and Kendra were on opposite teams so he could make sure there was a stronger possibility that a woman was hired? I think it's odd that a spoiler states he picked who went to the one man team. I don't recall him doing that last year but I could be wrong.
I'm not saying he definitely wants a woman to win or that it's fixed, I'm saying, if it’s true, he made sure the odds were better for the women so he could be placed in the best light possible since he has hired men twice in a row. How sad is the public that it was viewed as sexist after only two seasons? I never saw one woman in either season that I felt was worthy of the job therefore I never viewed his final decisions as sexist. I felt there was a possibility that maybe some of the earlier decisions in past/current seasons... and definitely the Erin/Stephanie issues this year seemed sexist but you never know. I have a belief that if the cocaine issue was true, that it was Angie who was doing it and that's why she was just fired. Certain things she did lead me to believe she was using. I don’t believe Angie getting fired was a sexist decision, I think it either had to do with something we weren’t privy to or the fact that she lost for the umpteenth time and Chris is more fun to watch so he kept him for one more week.
I think the female candidates so far don't seem to have the same amount of stamina to handle psycho candidates on their team, lack of sleep and decent meals as much as the men seem to have in handling it. I think it's showing with Kendra, she seems to be deteriorating a little (or just typical editing). Tana seems to be handling it ok, but when you have kids, you're used to some extreme conditions. The men can handle the 'workaholic' attitude a little better in my opinion.
If trying to look non-sexist (word?) was the case, to play it smart, he'd put the weakest man with the best woman and vice versa. Then if both women screwed up, it's not his fault he didn't hire a woman. So I see Alex with Tana and Craig with Kendra if there was an extra task before interviews. Both men are extremely weak in my opinion but Alex seems to have a better business sense as well as the better ability to communicate. He'd keep Tana out of her goofiness the best and Kendra would over-power Craig's inability to be articulate and still win..
I'm a workaholic. I'm a rarity amongst the women I've worked with who seem to become pansies/gossip queens/complainers over the littlest things. But it doesn't make me a better person. I am a bitch in the wrong place at the wrong time occasionally but for the most part, I can go weeks in extreme stressful conditions and I know how to handle it. I'm a hard worker and I never have a problem pleasing the mostly male population of clients (bosses) I have. I think these two women seem to have that knack as well which is why I’m glad that people aren’t completely disappointed these two might have made it to final two. They actually might have earned it..
My point being is back to what I said earlier. Kendra seems to have that drive which is why it was obvious to me she'd make final 4 and Tana had the right personality so she'd make it as well. However, what exactly would Trump want? A person who makes the people who work for her feel comfortable and happy so they work harder to please her, or a person who drives everyone (batty sometimes) to work harder and do great things although they may hate their boss. I personally would want to be driven to do great things while somewhat complaining that my boss works me too hard.
In my opinion, if neither of them screws up too much in final four, which I don't think they'll do, I think he'll hire Kendra. If there was some kind of surprise, it'll be Alex. Craig has no chance in my opinion.

This right here DEFINITELY describes one of two people.....Chris and Craig. I get the feeling that Craig and Chris are PMs for this task. But the unlikely hero description will probably go to Chris. Methinks that Alex and Bren will jump ship on him as PM and leave him to do all the work. He puts forth great effort, but it is not enough to topple Magna and Tana's superd selling skills. In the boardroom, Chris is commended for a good try, but it simply was not enough. Trump tells Chris that unfortunately (much to his own dismay) he is fired. Chris gets super emotional and cries after pulling an all nighter on a losing task and getting NO help from Bren or Alex (breakdown a la Verna). Trump comes over and hugs him and tells him that he made it this far, and don't give up because he has something special. With that in mind, it's off to Sequesterville.
"No.313"

The candidates invent a new product that helps clean up the office. A troubled business relationship boils over, while an opposing pair finds creative bliss.
For all you Fantasy Gamers out there, I am thinking ahead. It seems to me that there will be trouble over at NetWorth and Magna blissfully wins. I have to come to the conclusion that Alex and Bren are the troubled business relationship that boils over and Craig and Kendra will be the opposing pair that finds creative bliss. That sure won't last for long.
ETA: I know that I posted that Kendra and Chris may be the PMs earlier, but something inside tells me that Craig will be the PM on this task and Kendra will PM the next task. One thing I know for sure is that Chris is the next PM for NetWorth. Which may mean that I will have to rethink some of my Fantasy Question answers. Cooler,

So, after I was reading the recap, I started to wonder... how did Chris pay for dinner? Because he supposedly left his credit card at Best Buy, correct and unless Miss Ali's theory of them giving Chris a fake creidt card back is true... it make me think that maybe he paid with a different credit card for food. And if so, what else does this other credit card pay for? The chef hats from the Dove Ads? Presentation supplies?
This is not really spoiler-related, so I'll be brief, but during the scene in which the duties are being assigned, I saw a stack of bills (meaning cash) in front of Chris next to the credit card.

Definitely an interesting run down of the show. I really didn't think it would be Tana who would cause problems though. She & Craig bailing doesn't bode well for their future. They're just lucky that Chris is apparently "interiorly" and "exteriorly" without a clue!
It sounds like it will be an odd boardroom as well.....Chris having a meltdown....rather than a yelling fest....WOW! I can't even imagine Chris: "I never in my mind thought I was going to lose." . He's just a tad bit deluded!
Execs were so impressed with Magna's brochure (read: Kendra's brochure) that not only are they declared the winner, but GM is going to use the actual brochure when the car goes on sale.
HeeHee! When Kendra is hired she will then receive one of these cars. Kind of fitting since she was PM and apparently they will be using "her" brochure. It also explains the Yahoo Fantasy question about it being a "personal victory".

According to the majority of alleged spoilers, Magna will continue their winning streak in spite of their squabbles.
Task 13
PM for Magna = Craig
PM for Net Worth = Bren
There's footage of Craig feuding with Kendra. I don't know what happens next, but Magna somehow wins this task. Maybe they've patched up their differences.
Candidate fired = Bren
Task 14
PM for Magna = Kendra
PM for Net Worth = Alex
Instead of Alex getting to choose whom he wants to pull over to Net Worth, DT makes that choice for him by picking Tana to go over to Net Worth, leaving Kendra and Craig on Magna. Apparently, Kendra and Craig somehow manage to put their personal squabbles aside and work together for another Magna win. Even with Tana by his side, Alex still fumbles and Net Worth loses
Candidate fired = Alex (Both Carolyn and George see Tana as a potential star and they talk DT out of firing her. Alex gets fired instead due to his win/loss record being nowhere near as impressive as Tana's win/loss record)
The Interviews
I'm not sure whom the executives say who is the best candidate. All I know is that one of them really fumbles the interviews and gets fired for it. By now, I know of only one person whose communication skills are the worst of the three remaining candidates and that person is Craig.
Candidate fired = Craig
The final two are Kendra and Tana.
If this spoiler turns out to be true, then it will be Kendra who will end up looking better over Tana. The reasons for making that assumption is the following:
OK. Let's assume that the spoiler I've just posted is right on the mark. Here would be the resulting stats for Kendra and Tana (prior to the final task).
*Note: Both Magna and Net Worth lost on Task 4*
Kendra (Team Magna 1-14)
# of wins as PM = 3
# of losses as PM = 0
# of times on winning team (counting Tasks 1-14) = 10
# of times on losing team = 4
# of times brought into the final boardroom = 0
Tana (Team Net Worth 1-7; Team Magna 8-13; Team Net Worth 14)
# of wins as PM = 2
# of losses as PM = 0
# of times on winning team = 9
# of times on losing team = 5
# of times brought into the final boardroom = 2
Unless Kendra screws up in a major way during the final task, I don't see how she could possibly lose (given that these spoliers I've posted are right on the mark). Go Kendra!

Please don't let them saddle Kendra with Craig.

Oh my! That's going to suck. If it's true, I think that the loser will lose because of their inability to work with shitty teammates. See Omarosass.
Any thoughts on who they'll bring back?
Craig: So obnoxious, but if so please put him on Tana's team. (Anyone catch him kissing the top of Kendra's head when he saw the brochure. Disgusting.)
Danny: I'd like to see him come back and show us he's actually more talented than what was shown. As long as he doesn't sing, I'm happy with him coming back. His creativity with Kendra's marketing could go a long way.
Michael: Couldn't care one way or the other.
Todd: Who? Cares.
Verna: She doesn't deserve it. Keep her whiny quitting ass at home.
Alex: Couldn't care one way or the other.
Angie: Can't stand the bitch but she's smart.
Audrey: Please don't subject us to her 'beauty' (read obnoxious, whining, pathetic ass). I might have to hang myself. Or drink myself silly before watching.
Bren: Didn't care for him much until last episode. Couldn't care one way or the other.
Brian: I'd love to watch him and Chris freak out together and cuss every 5 seconds. Maybe he could make Chris cry again.
Chris: He'll be back. He's good TV. He might be the reason one of the final two hates their teammates.
Erin: Sniveling, whining, and obnoxious? No thanks. She and Audrey need to stay home. Please.
John: Who? Oh the guy who thinks he's just like DT. Whatever.
Kristen: I'm realizing I can't stand most of the women this season. And yet a woman wins. Go figure. Stay home Freak!
Stephanie: Couldn't care one way or the other. She's boring and whiny.
Tara: She'd be ok. Couldn't care one way or the other.
I'd love to know how they decide who comes back.
ETA: I love how fast the forums are now. Yayy. Thanks TWoP.

archetypewriter, I had the same thought, and that the "balking" finalist is Kendra.
But, Kendra has always managed to put the task first, so it's more likely she's the finalist who works at pleasing the sponsors (in spite of Craig). At least, that's how my fantasy is playing out.

I agree with you, WinCan. Kendra has already had to deal with obnoxious, unhelpful teammates yet managed to persevere. I think she really wants to prove herself as The Best, and if that means coping with whatever idiots she's dealt, she'll do it and smile. (besides, she has a bit of a martyr complex, so she'll enjoy having to do all the work!) My guess is that Trump will put fired Street Smarts on Kendra's team and fired Book Smarts on Tana's team. So far Tana has cruised, but I think she'll find the final task a lot rougher when she has to deal with the likes of Erin and Stephanie without having Craig there to watch her back. If the distribution from last season holds true, the last two firees won't return for the final task (Sandy and Kevin didn't), so Craig wouldn't even be a factor. Bill and Kelly were micromanagers, and so is Kendra. Okay, Kendra isn't the greatest people person, but I didn't think Kelly particularly excelled at that either.
Bren is fired in the next episode, right? Wow, I wonder how he managed to foul things up worse than Do-Nothing-Useful Alex. Maybe he gave Carolyn a paper cut.

I'm torn on which candidate will complain about thier team members. Kendra has shown that she can work with people she doesn't like, but it also seems that Tana has less enemies. Kendra doesn't have enemies exactly, but I can't think of anybody in the early going who had it in for Tana. Like if you bring Erin and Stephanie back I could see them not wanting to work for Kendra, but they've never worked for Tana. I can maybe see Tana complaining if she got Audrey back or something, but I also see Tana having an easier time laying down the law early on with difficult team members whereas I'm not sure Kendra would lay down the law early on.

As I see it, the worst case scenario would be a team of Audrey, Erin, and Stephanie.

The candidates from last season brought back were from episodes 5-10. They didn't bring back the last 6 fired or the first 4.
If that equation holds true this season, the 6 getting brought back would be:
Michael, Tara, Audrey, John, Erin, & Stephanie
Only if you don't count Verna. I'm definitely not counting her. What a waste of space.
If the above is correct, Adurey, Erin and Stephanie would all prompt an 'I can't stand my team' thought. Michael would too if he kept up his sexist demeaning attitude.
I still would really love to know how the brought back people are determined. Based on last season it's obviously not a creative process.

Regarding the candidate leaving for personal reasons spoiler, perhaps Magna loses the next task, but Bren leaves, thus no one is fired from Magna.
If Alex then gets to pick someone from Magna for Task 14, he will most definitely choose Kendra, which means Tana will PM for the 3rd time and win. This will definitely place Tana over Kendra in terms of PM wins and team wins. And it will make the teams completely reversed - Magna members on Networth and original Networth members on Magna.
If Trump forces Tana to move over, then Kendra will PM, given Craig's reluctance to do so. Then it is Kendra who has 1 team win and 1 PM win over Tana.
If Craig moves over for Task 14, then Tana and Kendra will most definitely win.
