Listen to
Jennifer C on the FishbowlShe also told about the sequester house (she calls it "The Trump Bat Cave" or "Camp Crazy"!) where there's nothing to do but drink!
Someone from the chat room asked about the jewelry reward from last night's episode, and Rich questioned Jen about the bridal shop task. She explained that the tasks are determined before casting, so it may not have had anything to do with Sandy's expertise. She talked about helping Sandy with the real estate task because of her background, which the other team didn't think was fair. Josh asked if Chris deserved his "firing" (she told how Jen M is playing the game under the radar). Another question was about people being "fired" because of what makes good TV (yes!). Josh quoted Katrina's Game On entry and asked Jen for her thoughts (she agreed that Jen M is like Amy from last year, but was concerned that so many people from last season are down on this season).
Rich asked what Jen thinks about Ivana (listen for what she says about when Ivana and Maria should have gone home!) Julieb asked what Jen thinks about Rob F (she love, love, loves him – they bonded over ping pong and alcohol!) Tedhighway asked about Trump wearing a bow tie when Raj was fired (she talks about Trump being in a bad mood sometimes when he comes into the board room).

She talked about helping Sandy with the real estate task because of her background, which the other team didn't think was fair.
I listened to that interview, and I remember rolling my eyes the moment she mentioned this. I mean really, Apex would think it's unfair that Jenn C. has real estate experience when their own PROJECT MANAGER has a background in real estate? It's either extremely hypocritical of Apex, or Jen C. is inflating her self-worth way too much. Sadly, both scenarios are equally as likely.
Jen C.'s comment comparing Amy and Jen M. was initially motivated by the host bringing up a quote by Katrina from the first season. Katrina basically argued that Amy was overrated and unfarily edited to look better than the other women, and proceeded to go into great detail about all these ideas Katrina contributed that were much better than Amy's ideas but got no play on the show. Jen C. did agree that Jen M. was the new Amy, but you could tell that she was holding back laughter at the thought of Katrina being better than Amy.
Jen C. spent way too much time making it all.about.her, but she was fun and her slams on Stacy were just absolutely brilliant. If you have time, I really recommend the Pamela interview from the fishbowl; that interview gave good behind-the-scene insights, and Pamela is a hoot.

Jen C originally started imitating StacyR and launched into a faux "Long Island" accent and then stopped herself. Jen C. is pathetic. She just doesn't learn. Desperately tryign to build herself up. Her "real estate" background? Is really about 4 months worth of experience yet she tried to make it cound like she'd been in it for years.
Her bitterness and jealousy was obvious. She just refused to admit that she did anything wrong and maintained that she was fired becasue "Trump was in a bad mood." Just one of those people who talks way too much and says absolutely nothing.

I was still recovering, pages later, from absolutely anyone picking Maria to win and then I had to go and be stupid and read the Omarosa interview with TV Guide. I have decided from now on that it's not that she doesn't get it; WE don't get it. She playing us for all she's worth. And even though it makes me gag, she's right about something: it IS her face we see all over the place and we're still talking about this crazy (and I'm sensitive to that) person a whole season later. Yeah man, we showed her, didn't we?
And as for Maria being picked AT. ALL?! Someone in my office goes to church with her. And believe me when I say that if it's people like him voting for her? Then I understand. Because he's wack.

This is interesting, and relevant to The Apprentice. The author of a new book titled "Lost for Words" - John Humphrys, a British journalist - asserts that people in US and Britain are increasingly using "cliched, dumbed-down, inflated and bogus management-speak" which he says now passes for English.
Humphrys blames "business gurus who are trying to sell their own particular theories and have invented their own ridiculous phrases and vocabulary to accompany those theories".

Can not stop laughing. Can not stop screaming. My mouth was open the whole time that I read the Omarossa piece. Ok, I am a "fan" of the thrivor/survivor Omarossa but, this photo an this interview is way over the top of the top.
Where was her publicist? Where was the duct tape? I thought she and Bill claimed that they were friends? Wasn't it Bill who got her the Herbal Essence no-gig?
On Kwame and Howard. You gotta love that. Our family has numerous Howard connections and attendees. I suspect that Omarossa was 100% behind the invite and logistics. She probably has a special "treat" for him when he arrives. Mischevious pause.
The comments from the Howard students are classic. The school is extreamly "high brow" and the students are connected to the max, hence, they might/might not go see Kwame. Other college students would kill to have a week planned as they do. Word on Omarossa and Howard. The school does not tout or promote her "alumni/professor" status and many of the students are like: who?
On the red carpet she is absolutely correct. Sorry Bill. She sells. She is a celebrity, model, actress, journalist and she just might think she can move JC over in a minute. You, Bill, you must work on that building. No time for the red carpets unless that is your "suggestion" to your boss for the floor covering for your building.

Celebrity, Model, Actress, Journalist! She is a quadruple threat, except not really. She is a minor celebrity who has posed for a few pictures and has been stunt-cast on a few tv shows. And recapping new Apprentice episodes does not make one a journalist. (All apologies to Miss Alli, I dont mean to insult her or her work on TWOP, but I can't imagine Miss Alli thinks her recaps are "journalism" either. Then again maybe I am wrong, and if I am, I sincerely apologize to the lovely and talented Miss Alli.)
Besides Last time I checked you couldn't turn a page in a magazine without seeing Bill Rancic at one function or another. He is the one who is truly enjoying the fruits of the Apprentice, because he is asked to be at these places and does not have to scam an invite, like the deluded Ms. Mannigault-Stallworth.

Well, since journalism is defined as the reporting of facts without interpretation or analysis, then I'd say that recaps on TWOP do not qualify as journalism. Thank goodness for that, too, since I for one don't come here to merely find out what happened in a given episode. It's the interpretation and analysis that make TWOP recaps so damn addictive. Miss Alli and other TWOP recappers, you are my crack.
And by the way, using this definition of journalism, Assorama's "recaps" also do not qualify, and from what I've seen, barely qualify as English. Assy, please get out of my life.

I'll admit I wonder a bit, but only because I'm curious to see just how far this woman will sink. It's not really possible to make a career out of crashing red-carpet events, occasional cable TV sitcom appearances, and weaseling your way into First Class on airlines. Sooner or later,
The Apprentice will finish its run on NBC, and all of the contestants will pass out of the national conscious, the zeitgeist having passed them by. Most will get real jobs or move on to the next phase of their lives. Omarosa, God help her, will do her best to linger on, like Brigitte Nilson (Stallone's ex, currently on "The Surreal Life"), Jessica Hahn, who showed up in a Sam Kinison video and had a 900 psychic line for a while, and others of that ilk.
Remember
Angelyne, the enormously-bosomed blonde who made a career of sorts for herself just by buying giant billboards with her photo and positioning them strategically throughout LA? I believe the "Omarosa" billboards will go up any day now. Angelyne's ads feature her truly astounding cleavage; Omarosa's will be a periodontist's wet dream.

While I, too, am sickened by Assorama, I can't fault her for wanting to remain in the spotlight. The gigs she's getting are quickie appearances that must be very easy to do, pay decently well, and, let's face it, with her record, how many legitimate places are going to hire her? She's going to be relying on Hollywood and media appearances for a long, long while, IMO.

CLICK HERE to see six pages worth of the Maxim soiree's photo op shots. The funniest caption errors are on the bottom of the 5th page. I shan't ruin it for you, but it's quite the giggle. BTW, there are some lovely shots of Robin included, as well as some of soap stud Grayson McCouch from
As the World Turns.

Bill now knows that some people refer to him as Boyfriend Bill.
For some reason, I find that incredibly embarrassing, despite the many, many times I have humiliated myself in alarmingly public ways. That actually made me turn red, sitting here in my apartment.

I'm pretty certain they weren't on the Today Show as I had it on for the entire three hours.
Goobaletta, though I didn't catch all three hours (and you have my sympathies, my dear), Wes and Maria might not have been on Today because Today threw a wedding in Anguilla, and Matt and KHatie were there. I thought perhaps they'd have Ann interview them, but I guess not. So maybe they'll do the show on Monday.
[happy dance] Yay! The boards are back! [/happy dance]
