Carolyn & Mark B's answers about Stacie J were so formulaic, but they contradict each other. Carolyn tries to save her boss' ass by saying that Trump investigated Stacie's behavior, then Mark B. says that Trump can only take "their" (the women) opinion about Stacie's behavior. Well, which is it?
They can try to clean up the mess from Stacie J.'s firing all they want, but Trump can't scrape all the crap off his pink ties. It's sticking, no matter what anyone from the show says.
Trump investigated Stacie's behavior all right - by holding that ridiculous kangaroo court when he called Team Apex back into the boardroom. If there was a real investigation, when did it happen?
If there is footage to show that Stacie was truly a threat, where the hell is it? If it really exists, and they are holding it for DVD sale, as someone suggested on one of these threads, fuck them. They won't see a penny of my money. I'm not going to be played that way.
I think they are trying to play it from all angles. They showed enough footage to show that Stacie acted strangely. Her teammates looked bemused, surprised, and maybe annoyed. But no one looked scared. I don't really believe that anyone was truly scared, or that Stacie freaked out to the extent that the Apex bitches said she did. Do they really expect me to believe that Jennifer M. was really the only one who was willing to live with a deranged 8-ball pyscho? All of Apex's credibility went out the door with the timing of their accusations, IMO.
I think that once TPTB saw how things played out in the boardroom when Stacie was fired, they edited the 8-ball incident to make Stacie look as bad as possible. This way, it would lend credence to those lies and exaggerations, and it wouldn't make Trump look like he got played by Apex. Everything but the final two episodes were filmed before the season started, so they could edit the shows anyway the wanted.
Mark Burnett and Donald Trump are low-life, rat-bastards, IMO. I don't care at this point if there really is more damning footage of the 8-ball incident. Even if there is, Stacie didn't deserve to have accusations of mental instability thrown at her by those prevaricating bitches in the boardroom. No one does. They can take people to task as much as they want for messing up on the challenges. But that attack on Stacie's sanity took the boardroom politics somewhere it should never have gone.
Even assuming that Apex was right about Stacie and she was seriously disturbed, (which I don't believe), she would be a sick person in need of a doctor's care. Would Trump have treated someone he discovered had a serious physical ailment the same way he treated Stacie? Would he say to that person, in the boardoom, in front of several people, "You have cancer, and I can't have someone with cancer working for me?" Of course not. If he really thought there was something mentally wrong with Stacie, he could have handled the matter privately, and in a way that would preserve her dignity.
I don't give a rat's ass what kind of bullshit stories Mark Burnett, Trump, Carolyn, or anyone else from the show tell now. They used the Stacie's situation as a ratings ploy, and it blew up in their faces. They don't like the negative feeback they received, and now they're playing spin doctors. Well, that shit is not working on me.
Damn, I didn't know I was still this angry about this until I read those quotes from the TV Guide article.
