Hey goobaletta if you are talking about this site, it is a sister site to Snewser's SurvivorNews.net. He has had SNN for many years and is the main source for spoiling info on Mark Burnett's Survivor.

He has been doing this for a long, long time; I think it is safe to say he isn't piggybacking off your work. He can be a great spoiling source, he knows the Survivor boots before they happen, so if he has focused his spoiling on this show, we may know alot about next season.
goobaletta
Yeah? As I've never had an interest in Survivor, nor do I expect to, there's no way for me to have known that.

Which is a good reason not to cast aspersions on people's integrity unless you are certain that you know what you're talking about. I don't have an interest in a board war, so in the future, if you have issues with another site, please take it up with them, because I don't want to hear about it, especially if it's completely off the topic of TA in the Media, which this was. Thanks.

Offending passages removed, ma'am. No intentional war starting here.

In the new issue of People (the one with the gal who won the "Swan" TV show contest on the cover), there's a photo of Omarosa...it was taken at that event where she and Heidi wore teeny-tiny outfits -- which, as some reported, were bathing suits -- and this blurb indeed confirms that. Just to clarify since some posters thought perhaps they just wore bra-type tops with uber-mini skirts!

Didn't her 15 minutes expire a LOOONG time ago?

You'll have to narrow it down for me a bit, BibiBella. Weren't they always wearing teeny-tiny outfits?

Kwame Jackson axed as Trump pageant judge

I like to think that he was desperately trying to get out of it and saw an opening. Smart smart man.

First major props to goobaletta and FuzzyLogic for the articles (spoilers? who cares!), thanks a heap you guys, but I'm coming to this thread to see if anyone has any saved copies of the Carolyn articles (NYT and Westchester wag) that they could send me, as they have both been removed from the sites. Just email me, at the address in my profile.

and has anyone heard anything more on this? Personally I would rather read this than Amy's or Sam's or whoever else is releasing a book from this show.
BibiBella
The news on Kwame's firing as a Miss Universe Pageant judge (Trump's pageant) is that he was socializing with the contestants which is against pageant rules for the judges so as no judge can be accused of bias.

Apparently, he was told not to socialize any more with them (he said he didn't know it was against the rules), but then he was caught a 2nd time socializing with them, thus leading to his firing.

Give that he's a self-described womanizer, this sounds rather plausible!

I received notice today from a site, TVShowsOnDVD.com, that The Apprentice will be coming out on DVD later this year. That's all the info they had on the release date.

Am I the only one who thinks s/he saw Amy in a cellphone commercial? I can't remember the particular make/model of the picturephone, otherwise I'd google it myself....there was this ad with a group of young women out on the town, and one (Amy/Ersatz Amy) is making eyes with a guy at one bar - the same guy who runs after her with her cellphone, which she's left behind at the bar. The two wind up dancing together at the next nightspot.

The woman in question looked very much like Amy, and I would have bet it was her, albeit a very glammed-out Amy. Has anyone else seen this?
gramcracker
Is it true that Omarosa has a 1-900 number now? Someone told me they'd seen it mentioned in EW (in the ticker that goes along the bottom of the page) but I no longer have the latest issue. Tell me there aren't people who would voluntarily give her money!

ETA: THe Omarosa thread points out that this is, sadly, true.
Txtwister
Checked back a few pages and didn't see this posted yet (sorry if I missed it) but according to the June 7 Us Weekly some snarky gal if Florida applied for a trademark on the name Omarosa and plans to use it for a clothing line. Seems TA O is fighting mad and may contest. Get.Over.Yourself. Can't see the line selling anything but trash anyway.

Very interesting!!! I was just downstairs where mom's got the Miss Universe Pageant on and they were introducing the judges. Seems like Trump got Bill to pinch hit after firing Kwame.

More like horny horny man. He was caught flirting with the girls in the contest and got kicked out for it. After repeated warnings against said flirting.

He just couldn't keep it tucked in his pants, that's all.

While I have no doubt that Omaorsa put her foot in her mouth.....I have absolutely no faith in anything Ted Casablancas has to say. He never has actual stories or snippets. Instead he offers vague, non-committal , no-facts allegations that are probably made up. He's offers a lot of hot air from a stretched-too tight by the plastic surgeon blow hole.

All Ted said was that Omaorsa ran into some of his friends who are in the merchandising/licensing biz and thast she "mucked it up." Geezzz...stop the presses, Ted. Douche Bag.

Sam gave a speech last week at a DC-area elementary school.

Regarding the $1000 cup of lemonade, he said it was an illustration of his "struggles as an individual". As opposed to everyone else's opinion that it was an illustration of his struggle against reality.

(gosh, I miss Sam)

Bwah! Check this out: The Nick & Amy Show.

Nick and Amy are perceived to be hip and sophisticated, and the 21 to 40 crowd cannot get enough of these two!

Eeee! The extras sound good, especially the George/Carolyn advice! I'll listen to Trump yap on, but I really want to hear from George & Carolyn!

As you can see, the outer box art has changed a bit from the thumbnail version we had previously: an entire row of candidates was deleted in order to see more of The Donald.

Hehe, tacky but in a fun way. Would we expect anything less?
Empress1
Oh good! I can see the first three episodes, including Sam's Stare of Doom. And of course I'm excited to hear more of Carolyn and George's wisdom. I'll watch Ereka's (I had to think about how to spell her name for a good minute) firing over and over, I'm sure. "I didn't think so tough." Awesome.
FuzzyLogic
Did anybody catch the Apprentice Files on CNBC? It was basically a recap of the entire season. The host invited Katrina to comment on different tasks throughout the show. Here some highlights that you may or may not know (these are her words, not mine):

1. She and Sam are good friends. Her other friends assume that he's a pain until they meet him and then they adore him.

2. If she'd gotten the job with Trump, she wouldn't have given up her job in FL. She was just doing the show for fun because her friends never expected her to do something so daring. (bullSHIT tm me).

3. She and Nick are great (not just good) friends and she was the one who hooked Nick and Amy up.

4. Omarosa asked to be her roommate because she sensed that Ereka was a diva just like her.

That's pretty much it. She smiled through most of the interview including her stories about Omarosa. But the minute Amy's name came up she looked like she was damn near constipated.

can't wait to buy the dvd 5 discs looks like ton of extras and its going to be

Wow...I wonder if any involve Oma.

Exclusive sneak peek into Season 2

If it was anything like the one shown during the reunion show...YAWN!

Sounds interesting. It'll be on my list of DVDs to possibly buy in the future but I won't rush out to get it.

Did anybody catch the Apprentice Files on CNBC?

I saw this show listed and wondered whether it had anything to do with TA, but presumed that it didn't. See what happens when we assume? Anyhoo, I'll definitely check out future airings of this. Hopefully they talk to the other apprentices and not just Kattyrina, because listening to her revisionist version of history? Sounds like the fun I'd have slamming my finger in a car door.

1. She and Sam are good friends. Her other friends assume that he's a pain until they meet him and then they adore him.

Yeah, but if they actually had to work with him, they'd want to kill him, too. I've seen his type once too often in the workforce.

2. If she'd gotten the job with Trump, she wouldn't have given up her job in FL. She was just doing the show for fun because her friends never expected her to do something so daring. (bullSHIT tm me).

ITA. Please. As if you'd actually say to Trump, "Gee, this offer sounds great, but I really need to get back to my real estate agency in Florida."

4. Omarosa asked to be her roommate because she sensed that Ereka was a diva just like her.

Yawn. Revisionist history, indeed. But thanks for posting, FuzzyLogic. I'll try to catch it on CNBC. It doesn't appear on their tv schedule, but it'll be on again, I'm sure.

I hope that the DVD has more of the boardroom - particularly George and Carolyn's discussions with Trump

Short blurp in TV Guide Online about a forthcoming book by...Bill Rancic.

In The News: Tony Awards, Sopranos and More!

Check under the June 7th in the link.

BOOK SMARTS: Bill Rancic is the latest Apprentice star to jump on the publishing bandwagon. Donald Trump's new recruit will pen You're Hired: How to Succeed in Business and Life, due out this fall. As previously reported, Trump adviser Carolyn Kepcher will release a business advice book for women in September.

A book from the actual winner makes sense, but when will we hear about the book deal for Sam's mother's cousin's roomate's neighbor?
Vermicious Knid
Kwame was in the last segment of Regis and Kelly. I presume this wasn't a repeat because they asked about the Miss Universe pageant. First he denied he had been fired twice because you have to be hired to be fired. Well, he was down there to do a job, so yes he had been hired. He had a bunch of friends who flew down to Ecaudor to be with him (what, he can't go anywhere without an entourage now?) and he went to meet them at their hotel, which also happened to be the hotel the participants were staying at. He saw them, they said hi, and he naturally said hi back and then they said, now you have to leave. I dunno, given the report that he had been warned once and then had contact with them again anyway he may have left some things out of his version. He also says he will be a judge for next year's pageant.

Hilarious Omarosa mention, once again thanks to TV Guide's Online entertainment news. Check under June 8 in the link below.

In The News: J.Lo, ER and More!

The mention reads as follows:

FOUR-LETTER WORD: Cable channel Trio has announced plans to air The N-Word, an original documentary that explores the roots and impact of that nasty racial epithet. The film, airing July 4, will feature interviews with such celebs as Chris Rock, Ice Cube, Whoopi Goldberg and Samuel Jackson. In related news, rumor has it Apprentice pariah Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth is pushing the network to do a special that explores the roots and impact of the phrase "The pot calling the kettle black."

Trump`s going to be on the radio beginning next Monday. He`ll do commentary on entertainment/politics, etc. on " Trumped " , a daily 90-second piece set to air on 300-plus radio stations. When Apprentice 2 debuts in the fall, he`ll devote Fridays commentary to why he fired a contestant on the show aired Thursday.

I saw that spread. Whatever stock Nick had with me shot way down when he admitted to having a crush on Paris Hilton. Just...ew.

I don't think it's been mentioned, but there's this hilarious Emmy ad being run in the trades for The Apprentice. It's this huge picture of Kwame with the caption: KwEmmy. And then a little shot of Trump scowling with the tagline The Apprentice For Your Emmy Consideration NBC. Beautiful in its simplicity.

Assaroma made it to Page Six -- again -- regarding her appearance on 'Best Damn Sports Show' indicating she would take it off for Playboy for $2 million. Seems she can't keep her verb tenses straight (I guess it depends upon which personality she's referring too).

I may have to poke my eyes out even imagining her naked reclining on a bear-skin rug, especially if there is any truth to the, uh, personal grooming problem that has been reported (from a previous windy photo shoot).

ETA: Hey I've graduated to Video Archivist with this post

Assaroma made it to Page Six -- again -- regarding her appearance on 'Best Damn Sports Show' indicating she would take it off for Playboy for $2 million.

It'll never happen. She can't, for pete's sake. Have y'all forgotten? "She's a man, baby!"

Years ago, back in the 1970s when I was a little girl and the world was filled with joy, Hugh Hefner used to release an annual list of women to whom he'd pay $1 million if they posed for Playboy. I have no idea if he's still publishing it, but as I recall, the list used to include unreachable icons like Jackie Kennedy Onassis and feminists like Gloria Steinem. Somehow, I can't see paying for nekkid Assorama twice the amount for nekkid Jackie O. Of course, Jackie would have been "nude," not "nekkid."

And then, there are the usual rumors of Playboy offering Britney Spears $x million -- 2 mil, 3 mil, 4 mil. Either way, if it takes a celebrity of Britney's magnitude to get Playboy to ante up millions, then there's no way in hell Ms. Delusional Psycho Ho will be seeing 2 mil from Hugh any time soon.

PS So what's the difference between "naked" and "nekkid?" "Naked" means you got no clothes on. "Nekkid" means you got no clothes on and you're up to something. (tm some comedian I heard once)
djmama
I'm sorry, but this?

Have y'all forgotten? "She's a man, baby!"

still brings the funny for me! Thanks Pocha! And I like your logic on the $2M offer. Makes perfect sense to me.

I was just watching "North Shore" on FOX. When they showed scenes from next week's show...was that Ereka Vetrini in the ad for the next episode? Did anyone else see this?
djmama
I just checked Ereka's website, Tashanir (here). No mention of an appearance on North Shore. Sounds like it would be right up her alley, though.
BibiBella
Is it me (?) or have I been saying "buck-naked" in error all these years?

No, that's how I've always heard that phrase - I've never heard "butt-naked" until this thread.
archer1267
Omarosa also mis-spoke when she chided Amy, Ereka, Katrina, and Kristi for having taken it all off for free - did she not see the spread?! They weren't nekkid.

As for Ereka appearing in North Shore, her only acting credit thus far (other than Apprentice and an appearance on Howard Stern) is "Guest Judge" on Episode 102 of "Ten Things Every Guy Should Experience." The episode is titled "Wrestlemania XX."

Woo! I'll get to see the episodes that I missed (which are almost all of the first 2/3..it's like new TV!)

Did anyone else notice that the packaging is going to *talk* when you open it? I... there aren't words. Gloriously tacky.
