I think I've gone blind, but I'm not sure if it's because of Omarosa or whatever that hell Heidi is wearing. The party they are attending appears to be a black hole of reality TV (there I go with my rascist comments TM Omarosa), sucking in contestants from various "unscripted" shows (Apprentice, Survivor, Real World, Average Joe).

Gad. That outfit of Heidi's is the worst I've seen of any of the women from the show, during or since. I can't believe I'm looking at something that makes me long for O's puppytail dress.

I have to admit, seeing Heidi dressed like that was a bit much, but if she wanted to do that, it's her business.

Not if she gets her picture taken for public consumption it's not. She makes it ours. With great deliberation and rather poor judgment. She's an intelligent woman. Why cheapen herself thusly?

Heidi's outfit looked like a Black version of Omarosa's. The only difference being that Omarosa's had a split (ugh...am I the only one that remembered the NY Post article about her lack of grooming when seeing that pic). I guess there is so much more to hate about Omarosa, the fact that her outfit is actually worse doesn't really matter much lol.

Okay, I know I said I wouldn't post another story about Omarosa but this letter sent to the 'Dear Harriette' column is a prime example of how damaging O's infamy can be to people not affiliated with TA.

It really pains me to defend Oma or Heidi, but in those pics they were modeling bathing suits for the party. That's why O has a different outfit on in the red carpet pics. Heidi was just too classy to change into regular clothes.

That may be so , Ty, but I can't recall seeing that information anywhere. Can you offer us some validation? I'd be much happier if I thought Heidi was doing some modeling. At least that would make some semblance of sense. I have to admit, I'd also find it very amusing to think that O & Heidi were asked to model something and Katty & Ereka weren't.

This press release appears to be genuine and if so they need to get their shit together. They clearly don't know what they're typing about even in re: people's names. One prime example? They refer to Ereka as Eric. And no, I'm NOT kidding. And this "press release" they've put out? It's to help them find financial backers. As if. eMediaWire.
Even if it was their PR firm that's responsible for this level of incompetence, someone at this dude's management firm ought to have proofread this before it went out. The capper? Carrie Keranen is or used to be a client of this management firm. I hope they send out a corrected release soon. This is just B.A.D.

ETA: Being a helpful sort of person, I typed a quick note to the management firm handling the Reality Rewind website and promotion. I pointed out the errors in their press release and even, because I am utterly shameless, offered my services as proofreader. For a reasonable fee, of course. "Steve" sent me a reply already. Heh.

'Apprentice 2' continues NYC filming... and challenge details continue to leak. Reality TV World. Spoilers in the article, some of which have been mentioned in previously posted items.

The shameless plugging of network shows by "news" outlets is briefly discussed in the Live Online transcript of today's Media Backtalk chat. The Washington Post. TA and Dateline were of course mentioned. You need to scroll a bit.

I saw it on a segment of Extra. It showed them modeling in the middle of the party. Yes, the midle of the party, not a runway or stage in sight. People were just standing around staring. Katrina & Ereka modeled too, but they (surprisingly) wore regular clothes.

Dull. Boring. Nothing much. Mere dropping of a name here and there. Not worth the bother of posting the links so far. The Chicago Sun-Times mentions Bill and Amy and how he's NOT talking about it. Ereka's involved with eDiets somehow. Like they used her photo on their last email newsletter or somesuch. There's a press release about it at MarketWire. That's it.

Sam is reportedly shopping a book proposal. Includes chapters on kissing ass and washing hands excessively (he sounds even more germophobic than Trump.)

Heh. And those who need it most never are looking for proofreading help, are they?

I just saw the repeat of Omarosa's latest appearance on Jay Leno's show. Jay actually asked very good and incisive questions -- only he used his nonconfrontational "talking to little kids and animals" voice that his regular viewers know. Using this voice, he openly confronted her about being the most hated person on American TV, being generally regarded as a "b____," and lying to Kwame, but his voice was so gentle and nonthreatening that O appeared to be totally disarmed and the interview went smoothly despite what he said to her!

I think NBC/Burnett/Trump wanted her to go on the Leno show because she was making a lot of ugly noise about the "unfair" (ahem) way she was busted for lying in the final episode. I think that's why Leno didn't interrupt or argue when she went into her goofy, delusional, sociopathic explanations---the more she rambles, backpeddles, and denies, the better for NBC.

It's a gray day in these parts. The news is slow. I've posted a few links but really, they're not much. I'll keep looking. Check back if it's a slow day for you too. Maybe I'll hit paydirt.

I saw the Extra segment with Ereka last weekend. What I find funny is that L'Oreal (which I think is a sister company to Clinique, Ereka's most recent employer) has about 20 different job postings for Marketing Managers and above listed on the job search portals. I'm surprised (well, okay I'm not surprised at all) that Ereka wasn't offered her job back at Clinique or re-assigned to a new division when taping of The Apprentice was over.

I don't get the impression that any offers are rolling in for Ereka, Heidi, or even Amy. And on that topic...where has she been and what happened to the alleged job offer Amy received form Trump? Page 6 here in the Post had her canoodling with Bill.Is it my...or has Amy sort of just faded away?

Well since Amy's sold her book already, she's likely working on that since the publisher is aiming for a September release. That's a mighty quick turnaround even though you know she's got to have a ghostwriter and/or very involved editor working on it.

Ereka seems to be focused on famewhore-type gigs related to the fitness field. How she's doing with that beyond getting her pic on the eDiets newslatter or tossing out baseballs at minor league games I dunno.

Oh yeah, there are the promotional parties they're getting invites to if they'll do some modeling. What I'm wondering is if they're getting paid for those appearances. And if they are, what rate? Free merchandise? More items in the gossip rags? And do they even realize they're below D-list celebrities now that the show is OVER? Once the new season begins they will *poof* into obscurity, with the possible exceptions of Bill and Kwame, and we'll all be typing about the new crop.

I cringe at the thought of Amy's book. Full of "y'alls" and blather abut Trump's crush on her. Had she not turned out to be such a self-absorbed air head I may have actually bought the book. And her September release? Yep...just in time to get on board with Apprentice 2 promotions. What else would we expect from a fame-whore? What about a job? What abotu all the job offers she talked about? Jeez...is it a coincidence that the guys seem to have gotten more certifiable, confirmed job offers than these women? It seems like all of the "deal" and "job offers" that these women spoke of either never existed or just fell flat.

I would much rather see a book from Heidi. Now that would have some good stories.

Aas far as the gals hitting the party circuit...no, they don't get paid. They get free merchandise and the opportunity to have their names in the paper. Ereka supposedly had several magazine articles coming out, yet none that she's touted on her website have ever made to to print. She was unemployed for the 4-5 months between filming and when she got fired and I think it's sort of sad that she's waiting around for something "bigger and better" to come along. If she hasn't received any solid, confirmed deals by now she never will. Her public ultimatum to her boyfriend to propose within a year will blow up in her face as well. All of these women were such horrible, horrible role models to female professionals.

Apparently, the Donald's casino has been able to make a critical interest payment on its yooge debt, and details about the ongoing negotiations to refinance the debt:

Eek. At the end of the season, I remember someone mentioning that the O and Sam might be making 'appearances' next season. Somehow, I imagine many of the first season contestants participating in activities in order to extend their fame and/or promote a book/appearance, etc.

Actually, L'Oreal owns Lancome, which is probably Clinique's #1 rival (work for Clinique and all you hear is battle cries of, "We need to beat Lancome!") Clinique is owned by the Estee Lauder umbrella (they own tons of makeup lines like MAC and Prescriptives, etc.) Anyway. As a former Clinique employee (who actually attended a meeting once with Ereka), I can tell you that they are a very spiteful company. If you choose to leave their employment, especially if they like you, they'll be damned if they ever take you back. I suspect it would be a long time coming before Ereka would see another Clinique job in her future. And, if you piss off Clinique, you piss off the Estee Lauder umbrella, too, so you can count out any jobs with the sister companies. She'd actually have a shot working for the competition, if she wasn't so damn insane!
