Whereever he is, Bill must be jealous as hell of Kwame.
To say that Bill is more beautiful than Kwame is your own subjective opinion, which is okay. But a lot of people obviously disagree with that. I am one of them. Kwame could have easily slipped into obscurity post Apprentice. But his personality is just sparkling and endearing him to a lot of people as seen around the talk show circuit. The same can't be said of Bill. He is just as unentertaining and uptight as he was on the show. But I'm sure we will be hearing from him soon commenting on how underseving Kwame is of all the attention because Bill being Bill won't be able to keep the jealousy to himself much longer....you know how whining is what he does best.

Ooooooooh! Yummy Kwame! I could stare at that gorgeous body for hours. He looks amazing in a suit but I miss seeing him in boxers. I confess the only reason the girls in my dorm even watched The Apprentice was to lust over Kwame. Grrrr...... Woof!

Really? I think Bill will be so occupied with dealing with this Trump-sized headache in Chicago that he won't have time to envy Kwame...or if he does, he'll do so privately. And why would he be jealous? He won - not only the job, but the fame of being the first Apprentice ever and access to Trump's contacts. Sure, it may work out that Kwame gets more lucrative deals and more ink, but that's not going to take Bill's win away from him either. (Some people think winning is its own reward.)

I haven't seen much jealousy amongst the contestants as they all scramble for what they can (other than Omarosa vs. whomever she has in her crosshairs at the moment). I thought that they would have been jealous of DT offering to pay for Troy's college education, and was pleased that they all seemed excited for Troy, instead of resentful.

I don't think Kwame deserved to be in the Final Two, but can see why he's getting attention - he's likeable, smart, accomplished, well-spoken, grounded, and definitely wears his clothing well. He didn't get into the backbiting morass that mired others and yeah, he's easy on the eyes.

It seems like the Omarosa-fest might be dying down. Who wants to take bets on what sparks the next flurry of articles? Will it be a product launch, a restraining order filed by Trump or what? Guesses?

Here's my take on it. The show is OVER now. In a few months it will be a hazy memory. Bill did a great job on the competition and he won. Good for him. Now he can go off and work on that building in Chicago. Go Bill!

Kwame is damn sexy! All the girls in my dorm noticed him right away because he was stacked. It's the only reason we watched the show. Strangely, even all the HoYay with Troy was oddly arousing.... Kwame has got an amazing body. We would scream every time he showed up in his boxers. Yummy! He's very handsome, gentlemanly, courteous and such a sweetheart. He also knows how to dress. That's why I want to see Kwame on my TV screen.


Exactly. They all seem to have gone on with their lives. I'm happy for them. If a good opportunity comes up, they should just go for it. I don't begrudge anyone getting attention, especially if they're as delicious as Kwame!

Oh, I heard that hat sold for a few thousand dollars. Maybe it was $8000 not $8 million. Omarosa maybe got all the zeros mixed up.....

Does anyone have a link or a definitive source for Omarosa's claim that the hat sold for $8 million? I have a hard time believing even a pathological liar like Omarosa would go that far off base. I believe it actually sold for $2,500.

Right back atcha. Your comments about Bill are your own subjective opinion and a lot of people, including me, disagree with that. Kwame seems nice and very well spoken, but I prefer drive and backbone to a set of ripped abs (pretty as they are). I think Bill went on the show to really work in Trump's industry, not to present a "12 week commercial" for Bill or to get into show biz. Don't worry about Bill. He's doing what he wants to do. And if that involves a challenging and high-profile construction project in his beloved hometown rather than making nice on the talk show circuit, then more power to him.

She actually said that on the Wayne Brady show, as witnessed by many posters here. I didn't see it myself, but perhaps some TWoPers who did could verify?

I predict when attention dies down on Assy, she will Tawana Brawley herself and fabricate herself once more as the victim of a non provable crime.

She will file a police report saying she was jumped from behind and punched etc. She can't identify her assaulter, however it really really happened. "Look at my bruises which I did not self-inflict"

I saw her on Wayne Brady yesterday as well, and she did say million when referring to the hat. If that hat raised that kind of money then why hasn't anyone reported it on one of the tabloid tv shows? Someone would have for sure.

That would mean that that hat would have sold for more than some stars homes for goodness sakes! She really does take us for rubes doesn't she?

I think she could have side-stepped the see-ment fallout if she had just made light of that one issue after the show was over. But the lies are compounding faster than the national debt now. I think I will drop Operation Smile an email and inquire as to the selling price of that hat and make sure that they are aware that Olyingdawg said that it made so much. Maybe she should be responsible to make up the difference between what she said it sold for and what it actually sold for herself. After all, she could have lost the money just like she did in the flea market epi, right? The money got lost somewhere between the hat and the Assy. Hee.

E.T.A. I just saw Kwame on Extra! They asked him about being in People's 50 Most Beautiful People. He was soooo bashful and shy. He said he was surprised and thought he wasn't even in the top 50 million beautiful people. Awwwww.... What a hottie! They had a few clips of his photo shoot and he looked very sexay!

Actually this contradicts the part where Bill notes that he entered the show as part of a marketing ploy.



That doesn't mean he won't get jealous. He is human, as are his fans who have expressed anger at the attention Kwame is getting over him.

Bill was on the WGN (local (Chicago) superstation owned by Tribune Corp) morning news today. After teases for almost 2 hours - we were told he was going to be on during the 7 a.m. hour, but there were only glimpses and snippets of him until they did the interview just before the show ended at 9 a.m. Not much new...

--What will you be doing? Chicago point person for the Chicago Trump Tower
--Relationships - How do you know who to trust? Has a very good group of friends - local support system by staying in Chicago
--Jen from the Bachelor? Standard response - she lives near me - we've gone out a few time but everyone's trying to marry me off
--How real is the show? Everything you see is real - no scripting - no retakes - people may be hamming it up, especially at the start, but then you forget about the cameras and get lost in the competition

One kinda snarky moment - right before the interview they showed a clip about a rumored romance between Christina Aguilera and the NBA's Carmelo Anthony. The sports guy told Bill "I put that in there for you cuz you've been all over the tabloids recently with all the rumors".

Bill: They make me look like I'm having a much better time than I'm having.

Anchor: Who do you wish to be rumored to be with?

Bill: Cameron Diaz would be nice - or Sheryl Crow

Anchor: Omarosa?

And then everyone laughs.

Cameron Diaz? Sheryl Crow? Ugh.

I know this is a late reply, but time to bust out the shallow dark side of me, but I don't think she is attractive AT ALL even when she isn't talking and acting like a beyatch. I would rather sleep with all the other girls, except maybe Heidi before her. Seriously.

This isn't really directed towards Bill, but has anyone in the media ever questioned Mark Burnett, Donald Trump or any of the apprentices about how some of the tasks were apparently staged?? There are several articles on the Internet about the apartment task being staged. A man who lived in the building even wrote a long article about it. Also, there was an article a while back about the celebrity auction being staged too. That last aparentment rental with Amy and Nick seemed awfully fishy too. I for one was NOT surprsed when Regis accused the show of being fake. He was on it enough times to know.

I'd like to see what Assorama looks like without her makeup.

By the way, in her own thread, they're talking about how she might pose for Playboy. *shudder*

On the Operation Smile website they have a list of contributions made between April 1 and October 31, 2003. Jessica Simpson is listed in the $25,000 to $49,000 range, with Donald Trump listed in the same category. They obviously didn't include his donation with the total raised that night. So, that puts her total contribution from that concert to, at the very least, below $49,001. Kinda puts the wet blanket on the 8 MILLION dollar figure that Omyiamlying stressed on the Wayne Brady show. You can check out the list here [ PDF file format - page 12] for yourself.

She also said that she and Kwame have a good relationship on Wayne Brady. I don't doubt that, really. One can assume that he could thank her for being such a beyotch and see-menting America's empathy, sympathy and admiration for him.

Funny thing is, she has guaranteed that he would receive the reaction from the public that she was hoping that she would get herself, by screwing him and lying about it to anyone that would listen. That must really piss her off the most.

A snarky-ish column piece from Richard Roeper of the Chicago Sun-Times taking umbrage with Bill for calling their building "the ugliest in the city."

I was going to post the same thing! The timing seems a little, how do you say, coincidental?

With that US article, you didn't miss much, ItsJessMe. It was actually ridiculous - they brought in some Match.com executive to analyze Jen's predilection towards successful, moneyed bachelors from reality shows. (Yes, she seeks them out. Who's next? Adam from Average Joe once he tires of Samantha and her tiny dog's outfits?) The Firestones were stunned that Jen should have hooked up with another person who lives under the fame microscope, since she supposedly tired of that while with Andrew.

Since US was all over itself a couple of months ago announcing that Jen and Andrew were back together, I think they're making a mountain of a molehill here.
(Another sign not to take the article seriously - Andrew won the "who's hotter" poll from a larger than 3-1 margin.)

But it is ugly!

I think Roeper's tongue-in-cheek point in that column is that the building is one of the ugliest buildings in Chicago, and that Bill shouldn't go around disparaging buildings when people have worked there for a gazillion years. I think it must have been a slow day for old Roep.

I'm hoping fellow TWOpers can help me with something.

Something has been bugging me all along about Bill's smile. And, in this week's US Weekly, they show him at Giorgio Armani having a fitting for suits and tuxedos. Of course, that way to glaring whitte smile is featured in the shots. The same smile featured in the opening credits of The Apprentice.

But on the next page is a pic of he and his Mom...and his whole smile is different. Teeth aren't nearly as white and seem much...smaller.

So...here my question....doesn't it seem odd that someone would get their front teeth bleached and capped (easily about $8,000-$10,000 wrth of work) just to go on a reality show??? I mean...wouldn't it be more likely to have that done KNOWING you were going to get some sort of payout?

I've been getting a sneaking feeling that Bill was winner all along and the other 15 were "casted" to just fill ut the show. I'm really starting to believe that this show was very, very scripted.

First, look at the female candidates...were any of them truly ever a contender??
Then, think about the handful of challenges that seemed forcibly staged or had the deaus ex machina feel to it. Then...two wrods...OMA-ROSA.

Am I just jaded or what?

If Bill had his teeth capped, and that is entirely possible, he may have done it in anticipation of The Bachelor, not The Apprentice. I don't think that his vanity is definite proof that he was the pre-ordained winner.

As for how scripted the show was or wasn't, the only episodes that seemed at all "rigged" were the two with real estate leases and the finale. The results of the leases did seem rigged because of the last minute nature of each team's win. The finale seemed rigged because the Trump employees were almost purposely dim-witted and incompetent. I agree with you 100% that those episodes weren't entirely kosher in appearance, at the very least.

However I doubt that the entire show was scripted from beginning to end or that the winner was chosen by Trump (whether he informed anyone else of this decidion or not) prior to the show starting. That level of cynicism is too much for me to comprehend and then makes me wonder how much of reality (not just reality tv) is scripted and I don't need that particular mind fuck right now.

Lots of regular people are forking out the cabbage to have their teeth professionally bleached these days, and Bill's made some money of his own from his cigar business. I could see a rising young single guy spending that kind of money to have his teeth fixed, whether he's going to be on TV or not. I mean, come on, how many women who don't seem to have that much money still manage to get boob jobs?

And yeah, the Sun-Times building is beloved by a lot of people -- particularly those who have windowed offices in it -- but that don't mean it ain't ugly.

Re. cosmetic dentistry:
I don't think it's just Bill. It's the attack of the Burnett clones.

Whenever I watch Survivor, which is not that frequently, I always notice that EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM (except the occasional old guy) has exceptionally white teeth. How the hell do they look that good on a desert island where water is scarce? I'm sure that it's a rule that before they go on the show, they all have to have their teeth done.

As for Bill and his super-white, super-big teeth (they're like Denzel Washington's teeth - too big for his mouth), I suspect he maybe had veneers put on them - those teeth are just HUGE in comparison to his mouth.

But I doubt it was just for the show. I've noticed in close-up photos from the show of people like Amy who you can tell have their own teeth (maybe a bit whiter, but their own teeth) - she has that Katie Couric-gummy smile where you can for sure tell it's her own teeth.

But I definitely think Burnett probably sends them all to get the super-power teeth bleaching for whitening the teeth pre-show.

Apprentice highlights on Extra today:

The big news was Trump and Melania's engagement. He proposed on Monday. No date set. He gave her a rare 12 carat emerald cut ring valued at a million. A few of the apprentices were filmed giving their good wishes:
Kwame: In sunglasses and a windbreaker, wished them a "blissful and happy wedding, as well as a marriage that will last forever."
George: "You have my heartiest congratulations."
Nick: In a t-shirt on some city street, wished them "all the best, and I'm positive your relationship will last longer than mine and Amy's."
Amy: On the street, "Nick is right, Mr. Trump, but I'm a little confused because last I read in the press, you had a crush on me." Classy.
Omarosa: "Congratulations. May your marriage be prosperous (Say what? Is that directed to Melania?) and may your life be full of joy."

There was also a segment on Mrs. The Donald #1, Ivana. She was looking a bit puffy but was quite charming. She's glad for TD's success and enjoyment of The Apprentice. She's exploring a possible reality show of her own, rumored to be about older women and younger men, but she couldn't confirm. She herself is dating a younger man.

Omarosa made a studio guest appearance with Simon Cowell. She told him she wouldn't make a good guest judge, and he said he wasn't offering her the opportunity, and she said she wasn't asking to be a guest judge. *pulls hair out* Simon asked her if her husband has a twitch. BWAH!!

Extra had a story about "Troy". My ears perked up and then I realized they were talking about Brad Pitt's summer movie. Pfft.

And... Access Hollywood:

They filmed Bill's trip home on the Trump private jet. He got to take two friends with him on the plane. The requisite ooh-ing and ah-ing montage, complete with Bill whistling his approval. Two bathrooms with gold sinks, two full sized dining areas, a bedroom and a well stocked bar. They got to hang with the pilots in the cockpit. He said of his first real meeting with Trump about the project that it was surreal to sit there with him, Donald Jr. and Charlie (Reese I presume) and having a real full blown meeting. He was asked about Omarosa and said "I'm done with Omarosa. I have nothing to say about her. She's in this for the press and it is what it is. I wish her well." (In other news, I now love Bill). He deplaned like a rock star to a gaggle of press then headed to a party with friends and family. He was asked about his love life. He hasn't had time blah blah blah. His buddy said the girls are swarming, but then Bill looked at him like he's crazy and said "Now you're just talking to talk." Hee.

Hee hee... This was funny. Nick finds money on floor.

I think there's a lot to these Mark Burnett productions we don't know about. Everyone who goes on his shows has to sign 50 page contracts swearing them to secrecy. Burnett freaked out when one ex-Survivor revealed that all the contestants had to see a therapist/counsellor right after they were booted. If you think about it, it's a 13 week mindfuck. We do know that some of these tasks were definitely "fixed" and several contestants seem aware of being "casted" and following an achetypcal "script", so who knows? Even Regis thinks the show is fixed.

About the Survivor teeth, I heard they were supplied with certain necessities, including condoms, so that might include dental hygiene.

Aww, good for Nick. And here all along I'd had him pegged as the kind of guy who would charge a finder's fee on that kind of thing.
