Whaaaaat??? They got business training after being fired? Not. Fair.
In one of his post-firing interviews Sam mentioned that they had seminars with TD and other execs in the Trump organization. I think he said it on The Today Show.

Sam mentioned that they had seminars with TD and other execs in the Trump organization.
So maybe Sam could come back next season and fill in for those couple of episodes where George is out of the country on business or something. I can only hope. Instead of George's disdainful frown, he could just stare down the contestants with those psychotic eyes as they try to explain their stupid decisions.

Katrina’s interview on Today. First, WTF was she wearing? A strapless dress and 5” CFM heels? Is she out of her mind?! She complains that she graduated with a 4.0 in Int’l Finance & Mktg and is in the Top 3% of realtors nationwide, yet isn’t taken seriously. Wonder why? You weren’t going to a Miami club. You were going on national television to represent young, intelligent, professional, successful women and The Apprentice. So, you dress like a Miami hoochie mama and say ridiculous things like: “casted” (dum), “sex symbol” (Huh? Wha?) and “delicate balance between femininity and respect” (BWAH!). Oh, and Katrina. You’re not fooling anyone. We all know you have the hots for Nick and are jealous that he likes Amy. We also know that you hate Amy because all the guys love her, all the girls love her, TD loves her and they all respect her as well. And she gets all that with very little effort. You can put all the eye liner, highlights, revealing clothes and CFM shoes on you want and get all the 4.0s and top rankings you want, yet you'll never be on Amy's level.
‘Apprentice’ a good lesson in how to land the job you want from the Chicago Sun Times
Trump does not ask a set of stock interview questions. However, he made it very clear, by his comments to his trusted associates and in his direct comments to the interviewees, exactly the kind of candidate he wants: a sales-driven, hard-nosed, aggressive, smooth, polished executive with a killer instinct.
From what we’ve seen (on a scale from 1 to 6):
Kwame 2.5 Smooth, polished (aggressive on occasion)
Nick 3.75 Sales-driven, hard-nosed, aggressive (smooth on occasion and seems to have pretty good instincts)
Bill 4.5 Sales-driven, hard-nosed, smooth, polished (with a killer instinct on occasion)
Troy 5 Sales-driven, hard-nosed, aggressive, smooth with a killer instinct (needs a little polish)
Amy 5.5 Sales-driven, hard-nosed, aggressive, smooth, polished (when she wants to be) with a killer instinct (on occasion)
That’s my take…what’s yours?

The Donald was on "Imus in the Morning" today hawking his newest book. He was a great interview, quite funny at times. Here's a few highlights:
- DT said that firing Katrina last night was a no-brainer. She was clearly the most useless of the bunch.
- He was ragging big-time on Dan Rather, calling him an unprofessional, lieing, jerk in his latest book. He, however, had praise for Mike Wallace, even though Wallace's interview on 60 minutes was much more negative. Trump said the difference was that Wallace was upfront about trashing him. I guess DT believes honesty is more important that a smear campaign against him.
- He also took a few shots at Mario Cuomo, calling him disingenuous, and was ashamed that he had supported him before he discovered Cuomo's true colors.
- Donald also said that he finds all these rumors about who won Apprentice amusing because he doesn't even know. He won't make his final decision until the April 15th live broadcast.
- At the end of the interview, DT admittied that doing the commercials was all about the money saying, "I'm not about to turn down $5 million dollars."
That last statement had Imus and company in stitches for about a minute.

That's exactly why I thought he'd fire her, while everyone else on the Spec thread was picking Amy. He's got them ranked. Some movement up and down is possible, but he's not dumping anyone for a single mistake at this point. Katrina was not going to be among the 5 he keeps claiming he'd hire.
I usually post the link to USA Today, but the panel wasn't that interesting today. They were discussing working with people you don't like, which I think I've mastered (along with humility). YMMV, in which case the article isn't that hard to find.

In her CNBC interview, Katrina changed from her hoochie-mama wear from the Today show, but managed to have an even shorter mini-skirt on. She basically repeated everything from the Today interview.
Though it was fun to watch the female interviewer from Power Lunch (dressed in a professional pant suit) call Katrina on her sexy, revealing clothing choices she wore in a business environment.

Kattam6175, ITA on the hooker-on-the-stroll outfit. Her boobies were dangerously close to popping out for their own 15 minutes of fame. I'm so glad that Matt called her on her ridiculous bullshit of wanting to be taken seriously, yet looking like she showed up at the studio after her night shift on 42nd Street. And those shoes? Oh, and since her legs and hair got so much attention on the show (said with an air of annoyance at TPTB on her portrayal), she's hoping to do various endorsements for razors and such.

The Donald was on "Imus in the Morning" today hawking his newest book. He was a great interview, quite funny at times. Here's a few highlights:
I'll add a few details about DT'S "Imus in the Morning" appearance:
DT said that firing Katrina last night was a no-brainer. She was clearly the most useless of the bunch.
When Imus told DT that his radio-station staffers were disappointed Katrina was fired because she was the most attractive woman of the original 8, DT was diplomatic in agreeing. He said something to the effect of:
"Katrina definitely has an attractive figure. I won't say she has an attractive body, because that will get you into trouble. I learned years ago with my own girlfriends that there is a right way to compliment a woman's appearance."
Donald also said that he finds all these rumors about who won Apprentice amusing because he doesn't even know. He won't make his final decision until the April 15th live broadcast.
In fact, DT seemed totally clueless about how contestants will be eliminated from here on out. There are three episodes: Thursday April 1, Thursday April 8, and Thursday April 15. We already know that the April 15 episode will start with 2 people and end with the winner, right?
Imus was wondering (as I am), how they will go from starting with 5 on April 1 to starting with 2 on April 15. How many will be eliminated in each of the next two episodes?
DT basically didn't answer that question, and I think he just wasn't sure about it.
------------------
Finally, DT said Katrina was doomed last night because of Amy and Nick's "big hot thing". HAHAHAHA. That is a hilarious description of any romance, especially Amy and Nick's "romance".

I don't think we know this; the prevailing speculation is that it starts out with three people on tape for the first hour, someone gets eliminated, and then there will be some sort of live showdown with the final two for the second hour.
HOWEVER: I don't see why it can't just be three people for the whole two hours. Having a three-way backstab/bitchfest is always more fun than two.

In this Week's
Soap Opera Weekly (Stop looking at me like that...I have a job!), there's an article about Omarosa, including a caption under a picture reading "I'm not Rambo." [sarcastic] Really? You know, because I was confused by the likeness.[/sarcastic] Some quotes:
- Regarding the Resturant Incident: "There was no walking into a restuarant and grabbing food, because we didn't have [our own] money. We had to ask a producter, and then we had to get the location approved." So, the producers made them hand over all the money they had? I don't know, it doesn't seem right to me.
- Regarding her concussion: "I went to the emergency room twicce in two days as a result of the inury. They don't show that at all. A doctor diagnosed me, not myself: 'Severe head trauma/concussion.' They prescribed me such severe pain medication, they said to the producers, 'These are the things she cannot.' The doctors wouldn't allow me to work on renovating the apartment; that's why I was out [playing basketball] with the neighborhood kids." Gee, I thought she claimed the shots of her playing basketball were from another time and edited in to make it seem like she was skipping out of work?
- On the boardroom: " 'I was told that I would have an opportunity to talk one-on-one with Donald Trump about my injuries, so when I walked into the boardroom I was shocked to see the cameras rolling and George and Carolyn sitting there. It was a reality set-up moment. I'm not Rambo. I'm not a renegade. I don't burst into boardrooms and tell people off!' ".
So, there you folks have it. Opinions?

On Katrina:
And on CNBC she said SHE had the idea for advertising on the rickshaws, and the editors only showed Amy repeating her suggestion.
I'm not buying whatever it is you are selling, Kitty Kat. The rickshaw episode aired AFTER Omarosa had started to make her editing charges, right? Why would NBC allow such a huge change from reality?
I will admit one thing though. In the thread for that week several people point out that Katrina had a lemon-face in the boardroom when they announced the winners, even though her team won. That might slightly support the idea that she was pissed because perhaps, in the boardroom, she wasn't lauded properly. Although, alternatively it could be just because she broke a nail or Amy breathed some of her oxygen accidentally.
On Omarosa:
I went to the emergency room twice in two days as a result of the inury
I believe this statement contradicts previous statements made by her, where she said that she was at the hospital ONCE, but for 8 hours.
The doctors wouldn't allow me to work on renovating the apartment; that's why I was out [playing basketball] with the neighborhood kids.
An even MORE direct contradiction with her previous statements, where she tried to convince us that the basketball incident was four days later. Since nobody believed her, the basketball is now back in the timeframe when it obviously happened, and now she only did it because obviously basketball is less strenuous than painting.
Penarol1916
Mar 26, 2004 @ 5:06 pm
Wow that's a lot of contradictions on the hospital story, I wonder why she never mentioned before that she couldn't work on the house, instead of blaming editing, this is probably the most blatant contradiction yet. The odd thing is I'm torn, I want her to get nailed for all of this, yet I also want her to go away, but she has to stick around until she gets nailed.
And Katrina, if you came up with the winning idea, then why complain about all of your ideas being dismissed? Now I want Amy to get fired next week, just so she can shoot that idea down.
bpr
Mar 26, 2004 @ 5:06 pm
amybeth5251, I have to grudgingly concede to Omarosa's one claim that she wasn't carrying money. None of the women are ever seen carrying a purse around on their tasks, so I have to reluctantly <shudder> BELIEVE her that she would have had to ask producers for money. Also, since the show would conceivably like to videotape them while they were eating, producers would have to get permission from the restaurant first, so it would sort of be their call. That is the only thing I'll ever concede to her.
OTOH, "I was shocked to see the cameras rolling"? Good. Grief.

Just saw the Katrina piece on Access Hollywood, and it was interesting.
It was funny because she said that Amy used sex more than she did, and all this while wearing a dress that showed the top half of her breasts. Classy.
Katrina also said that Amy had slept with someone while on the show, and had "sexual relations" with someone else after the show.
The final thing she said perked my ears, and it may be considered a spoiler, but since it was in a media piece I'll post here: Katrina said that Amy let two men get in the way of her landing the job. Did Katrina just give away that Amy didn't get the job? Even she's not that stupid

In Entertainment Weekly there is an article answering our "burning questions" about The Apprentice. An NBC rep said that as long as the cameras are present, the show will pick up the tab -- contestants are not allowed to carry their own money or use ATMs during filming. Hmmm, still does not clarify if they can carry the "show's" money.

She slept with Nick during the show, and then hooked up with Bill after the show. Amy&Bill have been spotted a lot as a couple.
You know what...if I were Katrina, and had to share a hotel room with Amy&Nick and have to listen to them have sex, then I would probably be pretty pissed too. I definitely would've asked for a separate room.

I thought that Nick and Amy just flirted, and Katrina was teasing them by asking if they wanted to sleep in the larger bed, but that in the end they slept separately. I figured that Katrina was just trying to play up the "Amy's all in love with Nick AND a slut" with her comments to the media. I can't believe Katrina's going on national tv and telling the world about Amy's personal life. Who the hell does she think she is? And, what does she think she's going to gain from it? It just makes her look even more immature, catty and unprofessional than she already did.
I'm just going to keep telling myself that Katrina's 23 and blame a lot of her behavior on that. I'm not saying all 23 year olds are idiots, but I know I wasn't very mature at that age and it's the only excuse I can come up with. Regarding the Restaurant Incident: "There was no walking into a restaurant and grabbing food, because we didn't have [our own] money. We had to ask a producer, and then we had to get the location approved."
This doesn't explain why we saw Nick and Bill together dining on chilled squid and plotting Ereka's demise. Not to mention how the boys were able to pay for their spa day. Also, I remember during O and Heidi's fight O said she was hungry and Heidi suggested grabbing a sandwich from vending. If a sit down lunch was not an option in O's mind, there would have been no fight (unless they were fighting over Chinese or Italian). There are just way too many holes in the explanation O gives for me to believe it for one minute.

Mega-word! She reminds me of girls from high school who were the Homecoming Queen and Most Popular and Head Cheerleader and Most Beautiful and everything else -- and then they go to college and find out that there are indeed brighter and more beautiful women on the planet - and all of sudden, they start self-destructing because they can't handle that thought....very sad, but all too common too - and Katrina is a prime example of this (unfortunately, she doesn't seem to have grown up from this experience, even at 23, going on 24).
