Point of clarification that I meant to copy here a long time ago and never did, because I'm easily distracted:

Mythellaneous Mythunderstandings is about the show's "rules." The mythology of that world. Souls exist, vamps need invitations to enter homes, they can be killed with stakes & sunlight, other dimensions/worlds exist... Those are all rules of the show's reality. So the topic is for questions about what those rules are, how they work, attempts to explain apparent contradictions (fanwanking, essentially) etc. Basically, it's a game where we pretend there's a systematic logic behind things when the actual reason is either "it's magic" or "it's a TV show."

Deep Thoughts is for questions which aren't about explicit rules on the show. Whether or not free will exists and whether evil is just a matter of persective aren't specific to the show's universe, and they're not rooted in anything on the show. The show may highlight or exaggerate those kinds of questions, but they aren't governing the characters' abilities. Nobody is ever going to say "Hey, Fred shouldn't have been able to do that! It's a violation of the categorical imperative! What a huge continuity error!"

A lot of the character topics have been merged to make things a little more manageable and to eliminate old topics that only had 5 or 10 posts. Here's how it works.

There is still an individual topic for every character who was in the opening credits: Angel, Wesley, Gunn, Illyria, Cordelia, Lorne, Fred, Spike, Connor, Doyle, and Harmony. There are also still individual topics for Lindsey, Lilah, and Darla, because they were in a lot of episodes, across multiple seasons, and they had fairly active topics.

Everyone else should fit into one of these three groups:

Wolfram & Hart: This is for discussing any characters (besides Harmony, Lindsey, and Lilah) who worked at/for W&H. So that'd be Holland, Knox, Lee, Eve, Hamilton, etc. It is also the place for any discussion of W&H in general, and the Senior Partners.

Enemies & Evil-Doers: Anybody who's deliberately causing trouble for the main characters probably goes in here. I merged together the old topics for Jasmine, Holtz, Drusilla, The Beast, and the Monsters of the Week.

Acquaintances & Allies: Friends, girlfriends, boyfriends, roommates. I merged together old topics for Phantom Dennis, Nina, Gwen, Faith, and Groo. This would also be the place to talk about Kate, Virginia, Anne, the Found Boys, etc.

Remember that I merged together old threads to create these, so if you look at older posts, some things will be out of context now. Of course, you can also discuss characters in the appropriate season topics; you don't need to use these topics at all. If you just can't decide which topic to use, you can certainly ask in the Advice thread. The only one I think would be really tricky to classify is Harmony, and luckily she was in the credits and gets her own topic, so I win!
