Ok, so I recently returned from a six week backpacking adventure in Australia...during much of our trip we used the Indian Pacific Railroad to travel cross-continent, and they would show the most random American movies...since the train rides were up to 40 hours at a shot...ANYWAY...one evening they pop in a film called "Desert Bloom" featuring John Voight as an evil dad, because John Voight can be nothing other than evil....but the leading lady? Annabeth Gish! She couldn't be more than 15 in this movie...which is awfully boring and about the atom bomb being tested or something...in some desert. But it was very disconcerting that Moronica should find me all the way on the other side of the planet. Oh yeah, and Donnie Pfaster definately does the voice over for an Advil commercial. Cure that headache girly girl!

"We're not interested in vengeance, in 'whodunnit' at this point. We just want to make sure that her soul's been properly captured, because she had lots of it," her father said.
"How can I have ill will toward a bunch of people who were probably drunk?" Janet Wright added.
Wow, these two are saints. I wouldn't take her death half as well as her parents.

There is talk on the net that is wasn't WB Davis but another actor named Bruce Davis (although I understand that the "B" stands for Bruce). I believe that the newspaper has made a correction and removed the original headline of "Smoking Man's Daughter Killed".
This is how the story appears now - it mentions her mother, Janet Wright, but only quotes her father once and calls him 'Bruce'.
Very confusing.
Either way, it's a horrible thing to have happened to any family.

Playing By Heart is running on A&E now. LOVE that film. Pretty please, when Gillian goes back to work, can she do something opposite Jon Stewart again?
Glasgow -- There are several screen caps of her
here. Heather McComb has also appeared in
Profiler, as Bailey's daughter, if that's a series that crossed to the UK -- she was on during the Ally Walker years. She was a quite prolific child actress, if memory serves. Seems that's mostly where I know her work from.

I mainly know her as Neve Campbell's college roommate on Party Of Five--she was being physically abused by her boyfriend, but then Neve stole said boyfriend, and then Neve was physically abused by the guy. Then Neve dumped him and she and H. McC. were friends again. Of course, I am the only person on earth who watched Party of Five, so this may not be relevant or helpful.

I saw the guy who played Robert Patrick Modell (Pusher) in one of those Lifetime Movie of the Week things and he was even dressed the same way and with exactly the same hairstyle as in the episode. It was freaky! His on-screen daughter was crying that no-one liked her and got all suicidal about it and all I could think was: Hey, why doesn't he just make them like her?

There's a nice

The commercials for Bad Apple have been running for a while, but only last week did my husband and I notice RP in them. I don't know if different commercials were airing before that, or if we were just not observant. Anyway, the other day the commercial came on, and we both did double-takes: "Was that who I thought it was?" Yep. Very weird.
However, it does mess up the fictional universe even more. See, Richard Belzer played John Munch on both Law & Order: SVU and in Unusual Suspects. Therefore, the X-Files and L&O exist in the same universe. So it messes with my head when RP and Chris Noth are onscreen together as different characters. (Sort of like when Lenny Briscoe talks about Sex in the City.) Not as bad as trying to understand the mytharc, though.

I flipped past the opening & saw his name on the guest list - then I flipped past again later & caught a scene where a lawyer refereed to his character as someone who "ratted out" his friends. Which naturally made me giggle.

Bad Apple on TNT tonight, and oh my Lord, Robert Patrick is a funny, funny man. Comedy platinum, folks. The whole thing is a scream, but he is just perfect as a gleefully sadistic chainsaw-wielding "cleaner" who has a penchant for listening to and singing "Someone Left a Cake Out in the Rain."

He is pretty, isn't he? It was sort of jarring to see him as a nice guy. But in a good way. Caught a much younger version of him on some cheesy silly Sci-Fi movie this afternoon, and I definitely prefer the current version. =D
Saw that Zuleikha Robinson is the female lead in Viggo Mortenson's new flick, Hidalgo, and that gave me quite a happy. I really did not care for her as Yves at the outset of Lone Gunmen, but by midway through the run I had really started to like her. I'm glad she's working.

I don't think he was in any other episodes. Maybe he's just got one of those faces. He did an excellent job, though. One of my favorite moments in the show, ever, is when Mulder opens the door and he's standing there holding the chains hooked to Dr. Blockhead's chest and he goes "look what I caught!" <yank> and Blockhead's all "ow!"

Heh. Yes, it was funny to see Bruce Harwood looking like Byers, but behaving nothing like him on “the L-Word”… On the other side, John Neville as an evil attorney on “Queer as folk” season 2, could have been WMM’s secret identity: working as an evil attorney in Pittsburg after faking his own death in FTF.

Speaking of HITG Patrick Killpatrick... (who, btw, also had a medium sized role in Minority Report). I met him at a Sci Fi Con (shut up) once. He spent a great amount of time hitting on my 19 year old sister who just wanted to know what episode of the X-Files he was in. Major weird-o. I watched Wonderfalls last night because of Mr. Minear's plea - I liked it well enough and will give it another chance tonight but was of course amused by Mr. Minear's casting of the lovely and talented Diana Scarwid who was of course Pusher's sister in Kitsungari, written by none other than Tim Minear.
I liked her doing comedy a lot! I've only ever seen her in dramas (No! more wire hangers).
