I think Sharon is more interested in Lance than Kelly is, or at least Kelly doesn't want to make a big show of it on TV.
I've started wondering if Lance and Sharon are having some sort of illicit affair. It'd be the only explanation for why, every time I risk it and watch five minutes of this show, he's on. He has absolutely nothing to promote.

Did anyone see Kelly and Oz do the duet? I thought it was great!

This show is seriously nauseating. Each time I have tuned in I can't watch very long. Today she had Mandy Moore on which was actually pretty good... but then Martin Henderson came on and she mauled him! She's all over so many of the male guests and it's supposed to be funny but it gets old. She force-kissed him and you could tell that he was uncomfortable though he was a very good sport. It was terribly, embarrassingly bad.

Good God, this has to be the worst talkshow ever. It's so painful to watch. I'm just waiting for someone to just interrupt her and go: "Uh Sharon? You can't do that on t.v." Why does she have to be so nasty? The other day there was a stupid guy that asked her "How hung was Ozzy?" What the hell kind of question is that? Then she told him Ozzy was hung like a donkey or some stupid mess like that.. You don't talk about that nonsense on a daytime talkshow! What is going through her empty head? Lawd, please take this show off the air. I can't take it no longer! Sharon needs to go!!!

Tribune Pulls Plug on 'Sharon' Talker
The Tribune station group has made a pass on Sharon Osbourne, and not
in a good way.
The move to drop "The Sharon Osbourne Show" solidifies the Tribune
stations' plans for this fall. The group has now picked up Universal's
"Home Delivery," delayed a decision on Telepictures' potential Steve
Harvey talk show for another year mulled the future of King
World-distributed "Everybody Loves Raymond" and is in the running for
off-network runs of NBC Enterprises-distributed "Fear Factor."
Sources at the station group said Tribune has not picked up another
year of Telepictures' "Osbourne" strip, letting the renewal deadline
pass and likely closing the door on Ms. Osbourne's foray into daytime
television. Telepictures sources said that although they will make an
effort to change Tribune's mind or find another outlet, the series is,
for all practical purposes, not coming back. The Tribune source and
Telepictures both declined to speak on the record for this article.
The show has averaged a 1.4 rating this season. The ratings
performance wasn't helped by the star's departure from the show
following an accident suffered by her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, in
December. When guest hosts stood in for Ms. Osbourne, the series
reached new ratings lows. The strip premiered at a 1.5 in September,
and most recently earned a 1.2 for the week ending Jan. 11.
In the demos, however, "Sharon Osbourne" easily outranked its freshman
competitors. In women 18 to 34, the series has averaged a 1.3 for the
season, sixth among all talk shows, tied with "Jerry Springer." (From tv week)

I am not too suprised that this show got canceled -- it was totally pointless. I never thought Sharon had what it took to be a talk show host, Ellen yes, but not Sharon.

On last night's Osbournes, we see behind the scenes of her talk show. Very sad the way she was begging her family to participate. I think she's actually afraid of her producer - one of the dogs crapped in the producer's office and Sharon rushed around to clean it up before the producer came back. Sharon kept whining about how they tell her off and that she's going to be fired.

I have to say, here and there I enjoyed this crapfest. In a fascination-with-pure-crap kind of way. I watch DOOL, and she had "Rex" on, and of course, she removed his shirt for him. And all the other semi-nude people in her bed. Hell, if I were famous and on the show, she would get me to take off my shirt, and I look like her son, Jack. She's a real character, that Sharon. The only thing I'll miss is Amy Poehler making fun of the show on SNL.

I was off a couple days after having my left wisdom teeth removed and happened to catch a couple episodes of this show for the first time. It's weird because it's something I wouldn't normally watch but I caught what was probably a rerun when the Bachelor/Bachelorette host guy, whatever his freaking name is, was on it. She was practically kneeing the guy and he kinda timidly returned the favor.
But my point...I actually liked her show. She's crazy and quirky but it seems to be just enough to keep you interested. How long, of course, is the question?
Then the show after that where she had a 12 year old boy admit to having intercourse with a 13 year old and the father was proud. Her comments cracked me up. To his father, she went..."So do you consider yourself a stud?" He ignored her at first but then she asked again. And then she was like (I'm paraphrasing), "Cause lemme tell you something honey, you're not." Then she kept telling the guy he needed therapy. That was very, very funny considering the seriousness of the topic. It kept me glued to the show.

I never saw the 12/13 y.o. sex ep as described, but I completely believe it.
The one I couldn't believe was when Sharon had her audience warm-up guy strip down to boxers with his, er, genitalia hanging out, and then she explained she was going to send him to have all his bits waxed. Oh, this also involved monkey underwear.

I just saw Eliza Dushku on this show. She talked about the crush she had on John Mayer....

Sharon had Ozzy sitting in on the show yesterday, in the audience. He was wearing his sunglasses, so I couldn't tell how irritated he was to be in the midst of several dozen screaming middle-aged women--not exactly the prime Ozzy fan demographic. I don't know why she cares about getting him on the show now that it's been cancelled. It must be awfully boring for Ozzy.

Does anyone know who the musical guest was on the show on Tuesday, 3/16? I woke up in the wee hours and heard a song that I really liked, but fell asleep again before I could find out who sings it or what the song was. I checked her website, but nothing listed, but I'm 99.99% certain it was during her show.

Finally, someone at the network sent Sharon the message that what works on MTV doesn't cut it on daytime television. SAHM's apparently rebelled. If you don't win the daytime SAHM audience, forget it. She should know this fact since she's so damn "business savvy", Queen Bitch, and all that. Right? Guess not. I've only seen the show about a dozen times. But I am so sick of her and those nasty guests. Nobody cares....Like Tommy Lee...he is nasty and contaminated...I bet she sanitized her dog after he came on the show and kissed up to it. The only thing I like about her and her dysfunctional family are the cats. Poor cats. Somebody liberate the cats.

God help me, I watched this show for Daryll Hannah because I love her in Kill Bill. She was funny, but she seems so nervous in every interview she has. Sharon has to die, I mean it; someone kill that bitch. She can't go for three minutes without refferences to Ozzy, her husband. I stayed, god forbid, for Reiko Aylesworth because I like Michelle. What do I get? Sharon saying how rehab people are still nice people but just with problems, I wonder why she is saying this? Maybe because of her husband and her daughter, perhaps?

For any of you regular viewers, is the one on today w/ Donny Osmond and Kiele(sp?) Sanchez a repeat?
Tackhead
Jun 10, 2004 @ 7:10 pm
I think they've all been repeats since the Friday before Memorial Day, which Sharon identified as the last taping. The final credits roll that day featured a major bitchface from Corin, Sharon's long-suffering producer.
Sharon claimed that they had a bunch of extra original shows saved up to air during the summer, but I haven't seen any so far. Needless to say, repeats of this show aren't any better the second time around.

Sharon was good at interviewing people, but I think she touched her males guests way too much.
