Chuck Mangione played at my college back in 78, I think it was. Good concert.

If you're looking for a sweet news story, here's one.

You may have to register to read that, so here's a synopsis: one of the local Humane Society shelters had an outbreak of feline distemper. Over 100 cats had to be put down. The local news reported this week that all the remaining, healthy cats were also going to have to be put down, because they were going to close their cat facilities for a month to disinfect the place. After hearing the story on local news, hundreds of people raced to the shelter and adopted all the cats. Every one of them now has a home.

No, I'm not crying, I have something in my eye. Really. Shut up.
birdlady
Jeez Tracey now I have something in my eye too! I'm so glad there're still so many people out there who care enough to save helpless creatures. Now I really hope they care enough to get their new pet spayed or neutered.

We ended up with our Crissie-kitty because she was apparently unwanted and someone just dropped her near our house. As far as I'm concerned we're blessed to have her.

But I remember when she showed up, I could hear another kitten crying nearby and I looked and looked and called and called, but I never found it. It makes me so sad to think that I couldn't save that other kitten who's only crime was that it had been born unwanted. I'll tell you, the minute she was old enough, we took our Crissie to the vet and got her spayed! There's no way I could live with myself if I contributed to the horrific problem of unwanted pets.

By the way Tracey, do you still have Sierra? I'm so glad you've been able to enjoy her love and company. My Crissie is currently driving me crazy, because apparently even though her dish is full, I have to get up and walk her to her dish and verify that it's full, otherwise she's just not happy! She absolutely rules us, body and soul, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm sure you can't tell, but I'm absolutely nuts about animals!

ETA: Crissie showed up at our annual summer party about 5 years ago. We went to see KISS on Friday night and had our party the next day (I'll never do that again!) and my goofball husband wanted to name her Peter, after Peter Criss. Thankfully my logic prevailed, and we ended up naming her Crissie instead of Peter!

Geez, Tracey and birdlady, that eye thingie must be catching...It's good to know that society isn't all that bad.
Woody, I've never been to a concert either. But my friends and I are seriously contimplating going to the Baskstreet Boys concert, just to relive the good times. :)
netful
Oh, Tracey, what a wonderful story. You know what a sucker I am for kitties. I got Boodle and K.C. both from the pound, and yes, birdlady, I had them both fixed.

Ain't it true that our cats rule us and not the other way around. I feel like I've been blessed with my kitties too. They are such a joy. I know that those of you with doggie friends feel the same way.
TraceyBee
birdlady, yes, Sierra is still with us, thanks for asking. She has surprised everyone. It's been over a year since her cancer diagnosis, and no one thought she'd last this long. We're very grateful that we've been given all this time with her.

ETA: Does Crissie get dry food? Every cat I've know that gets dry food does that thing where they want you to walk to the bowl, even when there's food there. It's like they want you to stir it around or fluff it up or something. Very strange creatures, they are.
Woodlock
Oh man, I love my cat but he really is a pain in the ass ;), his dry food can never have the bottom of the bowl showing ever, and he has to get fed can food twice a day, and he likes to poo in the living room grr, and for some reason most the time I'm all like "Oh Pepper you silly thing". Yeah he bosses me around, what can I say I'm weak haha.

Backstreet Boys?! PiP, I'm so there haha, but Nick is mine just so you know. ;)

ETA: Well it actually depends, Miss Net, cause I'm not employed by Holiday Inn itself, so it depends on the GM of the hotels if they take other Holiday Inn people discounts or not.
birdlady
Tracey I'm so happy for you that you still have your sweet Sierra!! Here's hoping that she beats all the odds and sticks around for many more years!

And yes, Crissie gets dry food. She doesn't even know that canned cat food exists! And I think you're right about the stirring/fluffing thing. For the first two or three years that we had her, we had to stir and/or shake the food around in her dish before she'd finally leave us alone and eat her damn dinner, but lately she's been content as long as we walk her to her dish and pet her once or twice before she eats. I swear, she has us wrapped around her little paw so tight!!

She can be incredibly annoying, but when she rubs herself against my legs purring for all she's worth and then rolls over to show me her pretty belly, what can I do? I love her dearly and I feel so lucky to have her.

pinki and woodlock, Backstreet Boys??! Do they still tour? Wow, I guess I really don't get out much, I thought they were broken up and had all moved on to other things.

I just got a really nice bonus with my paycheck today and I can't think of a better way to blow the extra money than to find another kickass concert to go to, so I'm off now to see who's playing.

Enjoy the weekend everyone!!
pretty in pinki
Actually, b-lady, Backstreet Boys just came out with a new cd. I thought they broke up too, but I guess they were just on "hiatus." And Woody, I hate to disagree with you cause you know I love ya, but Nick is mine.
Well, I have to go finish cleaning...my friend (the one who gave me the lifesize cut out of Legolas...jeleous?) is coming to stay with me. Have fun this weekend guys!
Woodlock
Okay PiP, dear that's against the rules, you can't have Nick and a life sized Legolas, no fair! [whines], well then Justin is mine and you can't have him :P, also so is Captain Jack and Will. ;)
pretty in pinki
Okay, Elf darling, hows about this: You can have Justin and I'll keep Legolas, and we share Nick, Jack, and Will.
Where is everybody? Did Woody and I drive everyone away with our talks of the Backstreet Boys and such?
birdlady
Hi everyone! No pinki you guys didn't drive me away, I've just been enjoying this wonderful weather. I keep thinking "This winter, when it's 20 below 0, I'm gonna be dreaming about this fabulous heat and wishing it was summer again!" Of course, having a pool helps alot in making me think kindlier toward the 98 degree heat and and the drenching humidity. It's only a 4 foot deep, above ground pool, but it certainly does the trick. I'm very grateful to be able to cool off when I want to, and really enjoy this fleeting season of baking heat.

And I'm very grateful that I don't have to put up with the exteme heat that poor Aussiegirl gets when her part of the world experiences summer. As much as I love the heat and getting a bit of a tan on my fishbelly white skin, I don't think I could bear going through what poor Aussie has to endure. Well PeachyPrincess, I guess that's what you get for not having to put up with ice and sleet and snow! Maybe it all evens out.

Anyway, I wanted to tell you all about a fest I'm going to this weekend. There'll be hot air balloons floating around overhead, all kinds of food booths including delicious chicken spiedies and Lou Graham from Foreigner giving a concert. I went to same fest last year when Kansas was playing there, and it was fantastic!!The music was awesome and the fireworks afterward made it perfect!

Have a great weekend everyone, enjoy!!

ETA: you can have Legolas, I'll take Aragorn!!
AussieGirl
Well, I wouldn't mind the extreme heat we have here in summer if we had a pool. That would make it bearable. As it is, we have to drive across town to either my sister's or mother's houses to cool off. We're having quite a mild winter here, in fact my oldest son got sunburnt at his school sports day last week, and he ended up with a bit of sunstroke. But I think you're right, Birdlady, not having ice and snow evens things out. Glad you are enjoying your summer! And hope you have a good time at the fest this weekend!
birdlady
Hi everyone! I had a great time at the fest, even though it was too windy for the balloons to fly and Lou Graham sucked!! Oh my Lord, he was just pathetic! His sound system was absolutely atrocious. But we had a lot of fun laughing at his pitiful attempts to seem "cool". We could only stand to watch for about five minutes, then we wandered off to check out the food and the crafts. When we were leaving the fest we heard a kid behind us ask his dad, "He didn't look like that when you saw him did he? God, I hope not!" We just laughed and laughed! Poor Lou!!
vb68
I wish I had a pool too, AussieMate!

Glad you had a goodtime, BirdLady! Poor Lou! Hee!

I'm really on a Van Morrison kick lately.

Oh, I also got the DVDs of the second season of the Mary Tyler Moore Show. Maybe the best ensemble ever for a sitcom. You really see how it influenced later shows, like the whole group concept of Cheers and the wacky buddies who live near you, like say Seinfeld. Classic stuff.
birdlady
Hey everybody!! Gosh, it really is quiet in here. I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Just wanted to say, since we were talking about our kitties earlier, my wonderful Crissie just brought me a live mouse! What a gal!! I heard her yowling outside our back door, so I let her in. After I closed the door and started walking down the hall I thought I saw something moving, and sure enough, there's a mouse running around in the living room!

I kept my cool though, I just said "Look Crissie! Get that nasty old mouse!!" And after a few seconds she caught it again, so I scooped her up, mouse and all, and tossed her and her "present" out the door and on to the front porch.

That crazy damn cat!! She always insists on showing us how "cool" she is by bringing her kills up to the house [I can't tell you how many little corpses I've stepped on (with bare feet of course!) and then had to scoop them up in a shovel and toss them into the field next door]. but I can never remember to check her mouth before I let her into the house!!

I guess it's my own fault for letting her in without checking, but JEEZ!! Is this shit never gonna end??!!
Kris223
My cats don't go outside, but they do like to kill the crickets that somehow get in the basement. Cricket corpses are so pleasant to deal with first thing in the morning. Has anyone had problems with their cats not wanting canned food? The cats we had when I was growing up would scarf it down in about 10 seconds but the ones I have now will eat a few bites and then walk away.
TraceyBee
Kris, cats are mysterious beings when it comes to their food. Sierra used to be a dry-food kitty, but we had to put her (partially) onto canned when she developed bladder problems a few years ago. There were some canned foods she liked, others that she'd turn her nose up at. (Fortunately, when she had to go on prescription food, the kind she needs, she likes.)

I'd recommend trying some different varieties of food. I've known cats who would only eat one brand.

In other cat news, we had to take Sierra into the vet today. Since Sunday afternoon, she'd been acting like she was in pain - listless, a bit off her feed, spending lots of time hiding under the bed, moving stiffly. Anyway, turns out she's got a lot of fluid build-up in her abdomen, related to the cancer, and the vet drained a bunch of it. They can't drain too much, because it can cause problems with their blood pressure and fluid balances, but we can take her back next week if it looks like more should be drained.

She seems to be feeling better now. We just have to keep an eye on her, so that we can do whatever we need to keep her comfortable. We know she probably doesn't have a whole lot of time left, so we want her to be as happy as possible during the time she has left.
netful

birdlady
Tracey I'm so sorry to hear Sierra's feeling poorly. I'm hoping and praying hard that this is just a minor little setback for her, and she'll bounce back.

we want her to be as happy as possible during the time she has left.

It's so obvious how much you love Sierra that I'm sure she'll be as happy as it's possible to be. Just being with you must be a huge comfort to her.

Kris223 I would second Tracey's suggestion to try a few different brands. But don't be surprised if it turns into an ongoing, ever-changing process. Sometimes a cat will eat the same kind of food for a couple of years and be perfectly happy with it, then get a wild hair up it's ass and decide that it can't stand it and refuse to eat it. Cats are odd creatures.

the ones I have now will eat a few bites and then walk away.

That's one of the reasons why I feed my kitty dry food, she does the same thing, and the dry food doesn't get all dried up and nasty looking when she only takes a few bites at first.

Also, if your kitties are strictly indoors, they might be just kinda bored (I do sympathize with the cricket corpses thing, just imagine what it's like finding dead mice, birds, chipmunks and the occasional baby bunny). Sometimes if you can make sure your kitty gets a good physical workout while you're playing, that will stimulate it's appetite and it won't be so finicky. Of course that also sometimes stimulates the "evil" side of it's nature and you're likely to find yourself all clawed up while you're just innocently playing.
Kris223
Thanks for the advice TraceyBee and birdlady. I switched brands the other day and they seem to like it. For now. Also cut down on the portion size too. TraceyBee, I hope Sierra is doing better.
(I do sympathize with the cricket corpses thing, just imagine what it's like finding dead mice, birds, chipmunks and the occasional baby bunny
Ick. I think I'm glad Felony and Misdemeanor (yep, I watch waaay too much Law & Order) are indoor cats now.
pretty in pinki
That crazy damn cat!! She always insists on showing us how "cool" she is by bringing her kills up to the house

I completely kow how you feel. My cat used to do that, and now my dog does. I'm pretty sure that the cat taught him to do that. Let me tell you, dead opossum is not a pretty sight. On the plus side, now that the cat is no longer with me, the dog has become a mouser. He caught two mice in the house (EW! I didn't even know I had any!), and one in the backyard.
Tracey, I really do hope that Sierra is doing better. You are such a great owner.
Woodlock
heh My dog has always been a better mouser then my cat, but not really mouser, more like a ratter, birder, snaker, and prarie dogger, that was odd to see I didn't even know we had those in the area, much less dead in my back yard.
Bubba Dharma
Cats bring you their kills as a gift, or so I read somewhere.

Cats bring you their kills as a gift, or so I read somewhere.

My (male) cat has a piece of lambs wool that he carries around like a baby. Every, single, solitary night, he brings it to my bedroom and meows very loudly until I wake up and acknowledge his presence and his present. Then he jumps up on the bed, kneads my tummy and falls asleep.

My female, on the other hand, has little play mice that she carries all over the house and won't let me near them. Unless, of course, their stuck somewhere she can't get to them.
Woodlock
Hee! Does K.C. hiss at you if you get too close, Miss Netful. :)

Pepper (my cat), has never really liked toys, he likes shoes, he rubs on them all the time, sometimes he seems to enjoy it way too much and he also likes his eyes poked, it's odd but he is a crazy cat.
TraceyBee
Aw, netful, that so sweet about your kitty bringing you a present every night.

Some animal experts theorize that cats (especially female cats) bring us dead things because they're trying to teach us poor, benighted creatures how to hunt. It's the same thing they do with their kittens.

Sierra, being an indoor kitty, doesn't treat us to dead things, and when she catches a silverfish or something, she eats it. Of course, we praise her for being a mighty hunter whenever she catches a bug.

We're taking Sierra in to have more fluid drained from her abdomen tomorrow. She's been doing better since her vet visit last week; she's been jumping up on the furniture, as normal, and her appetite is good.

In other news, the Minnesota State Fair starts today! One of the new food items this year is something called a fried chocolate sandwich. It sounds absolutely deadly, but I just have this feeling I'll be eating at least part of one (maybe I can get a friend to share). Mini-donuts and Pronto Pups and fried pickles, oh my....
Kris223
It's chocolate and fried. So that hits 2 of the 4 food groups.

Felony is a more playful cat than Misdemeanor. He likes to lean out of his cat perch/scratching post thing and bat at those plastic balls with the bell inside when I toss them. And they both like chasing those around. At 6:00 in the morning.
netful
Wow, Woodlock, you have a good memory. Hugs and kisses from Boodle and K.C. No, she doesn't hiss at me. She just hides them. Every once in awhile we have to go on a treasure hunt. They usually fall down in the heat registers. They're all lovely and dusty when we find them.

Okay, Tracey, what are pronto pups? We have a really nice festival here in the fall for Apple Butter. It's more of a crafty and food kind of thing though. We actually have lots of festivals here, but the Apple Butter is my favorite. Probably because it's so nice and cool then. Sweatshirt weather. Not to mention Buckeye Football weather. Give Sierra a big kiss on the nose from me.

My kitties like to chase balls too, Kris. My house is long and narrow, so they get some good exercise that way, being the indoor cats that they are. Luckily, I'm able to sleep through the late night and early morning romps. There are some advantages to being deaf in one ear. hee
TraceyBee
netful, Pronto Pups are corn dogs. It's a brand name, and many Minnesotans swear that Pronto Pups are far better than any other kind of corn dog.

I love apple butter. I love apples in all forms, actually. The University of Minnesota has orchards and a program to develop new varieties. They sell apples during the season every fall, and we always go pick up a few pecks. I make applesauce in the Crock-Pot, so yummy and makes the apartment smell so good.

The U's Apple House has a tasting table, so you can taste-test the different varieties. It's great fun to go check out the varieties that are so new they don't even have names yet - "Hey, this number 5739 is pretty good, let's get some!"

If you can get Haralson apples where you are, they are outstanding in pies and crisps and such. One of our local upscale supermarkets sells Haralson apple pies and makes sure you know it, because they're so good. My favorite apple, also a U-developed variety, is Honeycrisp, but I don't know how widely distributed it is. I never heard of it before moving here.

Sierra was very good at the vet this morning. She had an upsetting morning, between the vet and the nasty thunderstorms that moved through here early (she hates thunder). She had some crunchy treats when we got home, though, and is having a nap.
birdlady
Hi everyone!

Tracey I hope that Sierra is still feeling well. Cats are such wonderful creatures. It's so heartbreaking that they can only stay with us for such a short time.

Well, it's coming on to autumn now, the nights are starting to cool down considerably and the leaves are just starting to turn to their beautiful fall colors. It makes me very happy in a way 'cause I just love the crisp fall weather and the wonderful smell of apples and the delicious aroma that drifts around as you walk through the dead leaves in the woods. In fact, I have a couple of days of vacation coming up next month and I'm going to go horseback riding through the Finger Lakes National Forest. I can't wait!! I can't think of anything more heavenly than riding on a horse through the woods and the meadows on a beautiful fall day.

Unfortunately though, I can never forget that winter is waiting to pounce on us right after all that gloriousness. Oh well, as I'm sure I've said before, winter only makes spring that much better and more welcome.

I also wanted to send everyone affected by the recent hurricane my sincerest hopes for a speedy recovery. I just can't understand why the emergency planning seemed so slipshod and why so many people had to suffer so severely. You would think that after literally years of warnings from experts who presumably knew what they were talking about, that the federal, state and local authorities would have had a better catastrophe plan in place than the one they implemented, which was basically "fend for yourselves!" It's not as though this was a tremendous surprise coming out of nowhere, and nobody had ever thought this could happen.

I do know though, that passing blame and being bitter isn't going to help anyone right now. It makes my blood boil to think that a lot of the suffering didn't have to happen, but I really hope that we can all pull together and do everything we possibly can to help everyone who now has to try to put their lives back together again.

I remember what a spirit of unity we all had after America was attacked by terrorists. I know that we all feel that same kinship and compassion now, and we'll do whatever it takes to make it easier on those who need our help.
AussieGirl
Hi everyone. Long time, etc.

Yes, it's been quite tragic to see the news coming out of the US. Such terrible suffering and a terrible response in terms of the lives that could have been saved. Yesterday I saw a TV report where the media found this house that had 5 children in it, all in poor condition, and they said their mother was not doing well either. The news people went in and found the mother lying on the bed, but she was dead. That is just so tragic. It broke my heart to see that and know that there are 5 more motherless children there, along with the countless others.

I think you echoed my thoughts Birdlady, so I'll leave it at that. But I hope all our regular posters here and their families are all okay.

On a lighter note, just 9 more days till the best show on TV comes on! Usually we have to wait 4 - 5 days after Survivor airs in the US, but for some reason they have decided to show it on Friday night here, which, with the time difference, means only 8 or so hours after it airs there. Cool. I have missed seeing Peachy on my TV. Mmmm, I am looking forward to my weekly fix of Peachy dimples.

Hope everyone is doing well!
heidihug
Hi, TraceyBee and Netful and everyone else!! Just popping in to say hello and I am very glad Surv starts soon. I have been suffering from GOOD reality show withdrawal all summer.

Apples? Yum. Wolf River Dutchies are highly sought after in NE Wisconsin - they make truly superb pies and baked apples. We had very few decent apples off of our trees this year, due to the drought in July. Next year should be better if we get more rain.

Give Sierra a kitty-kiss for me, Tracey, and tell her I hope she is feeling better.
netful
Hi {{{Heidi}}}, nice to see you. I was just thinking about you.

Sorry about your apples. I wish you could come for the festival. I still have plenty of tomatoes available. ;-) That hot weather earlier was great for them. I did have to water a lot though. But it's so worth it.

Tomorrow is my Bro's birthday, plus the Buckeyes have a big game too, so we're having a big party. I've been cleaning all day. I can't wait for all the food and fun. One of my brother's friends gets very excited about the games and uses lots of colorful language. Last year we set a limit for him on the F word. He called me today and wanted to know what his limit was for tomorrow. hee If the Buckeyes play as well as they did last week it shouldn't be a problem.

K.C. and Boodle send lots of love to Sierra. They've been saying their kitty prayers every night.
TraceyBee
Thanks for the good wishes for Sierra, everyone. She's still hanging in there. We have another vet appointment on Thursday, to have fluid drained from her abdomen again. She doesn't seem to be in any pain, fortunately - her appetite is good (boy howdy, is it ever!), and she still jumps up on the furniture.

Re: apples, we're planning to go to the Apple House at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum on Saturday. The Arb, which is part of the U of Minnesota, has apple orchards and develops new varieties; the Apple House sells them, including new ones that don't have names yet. At any rate, it's time to start making applesauce, apple crisp, and apple pie! Some friends of ours have an annual Hannukah party, at which they make the World's Best Latkes, and I've volunteered to provide the applesauce this year.

My favorite apple, by far, is the HoneyCrisp. I don't know how widely it's distributed, but if you see them, get them. For apple pies and crisps, the Haralson apple is outstanding.
heidihug
Thanks for the apple suggestions, Bee. I will look for them next time I am at the farmer's market. Glad to hear Sierra is hanging in there.

Sorry about the Buck's loss, net. Hope you had a fun party anyway, and there were not too many f-grenades tossed about.

Tonight is the premiere of House/Gilmore Girls/Supernatural/Bones, so I am going to be busy with that, plus I plan on canning some spaghetti sauce made from garden tomatoes, garlic and peppers - yum! Survivor is just 2 days away!
iMissEthan
I almost missed the premiere this season. That's what I get for leaving the Meet Market when the show is not in season. Nice to be back here, fingers crossed for a good season.
netful
Thanks for the condolences Heidi. hee The Bucks beat themselves this time. The party was great fun though.

I'm glad Sierra is feeling a little frisky, Tracey. I told mom about her and she got all teary eyed and said to tell you that both you and Sierra are in her prayers.

I can't believe it's Survivor night. I've watched two new shows this season already and it still doesn't feel like the Fall Season yet. It probably won't until I see new episodes of shows like Desperate Housewives and The West Wing, and things pick up where they left off. I really liked Gray's Anatomy too.

I really hope that a bunch of the old Meet Market Gang find their way back here.

Big hugs to the little Elf.
Keupi
Deleted because I finally figured out where to post it!
bucketyell
I totally understand netful. I almost missed the Survivor premiere as well 'cus it just seemed too early for the fall season to start. I guess its the unseasonably warm weather up here. Plus, Big Brother hasn't ended yet so maybe when it does, summer will officially be over in my world.

Just to chime in on the cat discussion from a few pages ago... my cat loves to bring me clothes out of the hamper. And he wails the entire time he is dragging something. Loudly. And he doesn't particularly care about the time. In his world 3am is a perfectly acceptable time to go hunting in the basket for some ornery article of clothing. This is also the same cat who is currently 'dating' a stuffed dog.

Please tell me that I didn't see Rupert acting in an episode of Yes, Dear. I nearly broke my neck doing a double take.
netful
Oh my goodness, bucketyell, I was reading your name as buckeye tell. I thought I finally had another Buckeye fan. Darn. But I suppose we can still be friends. hee

iMissEthan, I missed the first episode of Survivor Thailand and I was here posting before the season started. It just totally slipped by me. It ended up being one of my favorite seasons, so maybe it's a good sign for me that you almost missed it. Hey, I'll latch on to anything if helps the show. :0

No more Rupert. Ever. Please.

Shout out to Noved. I'm here!!!!!
bucketyell
Sorry, not a Buckeye fan. But I can change! Really... I can.... honest! I'll share my Thornton's chocolates with you... :)
Woodlock
Hey guys (Hi Mama Net!) :)
Nothing really to say, just at work bored about to get to go home yay!
Loved the premiere, I have 5 tv boyfriends this season, and pre show I had maybe one, the pics did not tell the hotness right. ;)
Alrighty I'm rambling and this post looks like it's written by a 15 year old so I'll go now byeeeeeeeee!
netful
Thornton's chocolates

My friendship is now officially for sale. ;) Mmmmm, chocolate.

Hi there yourself, little elf. Do tell about the TV boyfriends. Which ones? I haven't decided about any of them yet. Don't worry, Sweetie. We can be 15 right along with you.
Woodlock
Blake, BJ, Brian, Jamie, and Rafe :)
netful
How many BFs do you need Woodlock? hee I haven't even thought about any of them yet. I do like BJ though. He's adorable, he's a hard worker, and I don't think he's a dummy in the brains department like some do. I'll let you know after Thursday if I like anyone else. We may have to fight over BJ. :O

How is your Mom doing, BTW?

I gave my brother my old couch I had in the basement and he gave me a recliner in return. K.C. hasn't been out of that thing for two days. Maybe it's because I put her soft blankie in it. ;) She's gonna have to move here in a little bit, cuz I'm gonna sit there and watch a movie or two or three.

Love to all of you.
JerseyGirl291
Hey guys. I'm new here to the meet market. I've been watching Survivor since the second season, and I've been on TWoP for about a year, and today I randomly decided to be part of a MM. And you guys seem nice, so I'm here :)

We may have to fight over BJ.

Can I fight for him, too? I need at least one Survivor boyfriend, because most of my TV boyfriends are from other shows. Hee. But I like BJ
TraceyBee
Welcome, JerseyGirl! Nice to have you with us.
netful
Can I fight for him, too?

Sure thing, JerseyGirl. But, don't worry. I'm not really much of a fighter and Woodlock is just a big Teddy Bear and he's been known to share. That's why we love him so.

Hi ChipBach and JerseyGirl! Hope everyone is enjoying this season of Surv. I don't have any TV boyfriends this time around, all of them are much too young or too pretty for consideration. Y'all can fight over them if you want. Gary or Brandon are more my style, but one is too tall and unable to tell a convincing fib, and the other needs to get rid of that hat!
