When does this thing get going again. I'm having fucking withdrawals!
Got to have me some Williams and Wiegel!

Williams to Jones.."You dont even like shrimp fried rice!"

Just about choked on my coke when she said that!
LMAO!!!!
Kaboom
I could have sworn that I saw the last few seconds of a commercial on CC saying that there would be a mini-marathon of Reno next Monday, I think starting at 7:30 pm EST. Our girl Niecy Nash aka Raineesha showed up on a VH1 show called Britney vs Christina (or something like that; I had no control over the remote control on Sunday), commentating on the two pop tarts, and she was hilarious!

CC showed the ep when Dangle needs help moving to his new place late Saturday night. I will never forget Junior's tour of the station with the Junior Deputies. "Do you know what circling the wagons means?"
Pulpbomb
"I will mace you!" I NEED NEW EPS! Sorry to shout, I'm hoping someone in power will hear me.
DiePhoebeDie
I was laughing my ass off last night when Williams was dressed in the hazmat suit and started to approach the briefcase:

Rodriguez: "Williams! You're not on the Moon. Stop walking like jour on the moon."

LMAO.

And then, finding out that Rodriguez and Kim are crooks and they fleeced them of $300,000 worth of stuff?

Priceless.

This show is a gem.
Alexandria Bay
Niecy Nash is hosting segments on E!'s Golden Globe day-long extravaganza. So far I dislike her even more than I do her character on the show. But ymmv.
morecowbell
When they open the suitcase and Neicy takes out the silk shirt and says "this is nice, is it a Gordon Gartrelle?", I almost passed out laughing because that's a old school Cosby Show joke.

Tom Lennon and those pants are freakin' hysterical.

I heart this show!
jennifuh
I'm sorry guys... I mistakenly posted awhile back that I heard Niecy say in an interview that new episodes would be showing in January. I must have misheard her because now I've hread that they are taping new episodes now to be shown in June. Dammit!
Joe Perry Rocks My World
No new episodes til June? I thought they started taping a while ago. WTF have they been doing all this time? Damn.
Caroma
June?! Day-unm. At least it won't conflict with new L&O's.

Article in this Sunday's NY Times Arts n' Leisure about Cheryl Hines, and how little she resembles the REAL Mrs. David but how people think she's really married to Larry. Hilarious.

Anyway, Cheryl herself is a real newlywed, and it turns out her hubby is Paul Young, who is one of the gazillion producers of RENO 911! So, that's why she was on the show as the dentally challenged trailer trash pot-smokin' nightstick swingin' woman. Hope she comes back, that was a good character. "Leave her alone if you don't want your nuts bit!" Good advice, Jonesy.

Carlos Alazraqui in Comedy Central Presents!!!!! @ 1030pm this Fri, at least here in Pacific Time. yayayay the preview joke was good, i hope he does voices! yayayay something to look forward to. :D

cuyler123
The complete first season DVD of Reno 911 will be released on June 22nd.
Caroma
WOO HOO!

Extras extras extras! I want commentaries and lots of 'em!!
Kaboom
WOO HOO!

Hooray! I cannot wait til June, especially since we have to wait for such a long time for new eps.
DrJulia99
On the Chappelle's Show commercials he reads a letter that asks why he got a second season and he replies it's because they ran out of episodes of Reno 911! Say it ain't so! I know some people said maybe June, but I thought that was just for the DVD. Any info would help.
Sean C
I think he just means Reno 911! is on a hiatus. Odds are, if it were totally gone, they wouldn't even mention it on the air. I think this summer is still the plan for new episodes.
cuyler123
The Futon Critic reports that the second season of Reno 911! will premiere on Wednesday, June 9th at 10:30 PM ET.
Tigerlily Sandybanks
Three days after my birthday! It's okay, Comedy Central; I can deal with a belated present.

Yay!
brand x
I saw an ad for the second season of Reno 911 on Comedy Central, and I about wet myself. It just legitimized everything and I cannot wait. I didn't think I'd have anything to look forward to this summer except reruns of Arrested Development, but now I get new footage of my sweet, sweet Dangle.

I'm such a Reno dork. My roommate went to Reno last year and bought a keychain that kept falling apart. She was ready to picth the whole thing, but I begged for the main component, a small gold circle that has the Reno "skyline" depicted in black and gold, and I made a necklace out of it. In my defense, it's really neat looking.
tinasdad
This show really needs to hurry up and get back on the air.
runtina
Ok junior deputies, does this:

http://www.wftv.com/news/3314503/detail.html

sound like something that would happen on Reno 911 or what?

Brand x, I would pay good money for a necklace like that.
Ty
Anyone see the new promo with the gang arresting Flava Flav while he sings "911 Is A Joke?" Hi-fucking-larious
Kaboom

Hee! Maybe the guy got the idea from the show?

Anyone see the new promo with the gang arresting Flava Flav while he sings "911 Is A Joke?" Hi-fucking-larious

What?? The only promo I've seen on CC is the "sexy" one with the gang in sexy poses with provocative shots (Weigel using her inhaler in slo mo, a close up shot of Dangle's package, etc.). I have GOT to see the Flava Flav one!
Kaboom
There's going to be a Reno 911 marathon on Saturday, June 5 on Comedy Central!! It's called the Reno 911! All Night Stake-Out and starts at 6pm EST.

If you go to the CC website to look up which eps will be aired, they also describe some of the upcoming new eps so be careful if you want to stay spoiler free. :-)

TV Guide's Dream Emmy Ballot
Lantern7
Was that Weigel wearing clown makeup, freaking the kids out?

Gonna be one helluva season. Sadly, I don't think the Emmy folks would nominate this show.
Kaboom
Gonna be one helluva season.

I can't wait! TV Guide has already listed some of the guest stars for this season: Sean Young, Martin Mull, Lorenzo Lamas, Wayne Brady, Lou Ferrigno and 'ex-Baywatch flotation devices Traci Bingham and Donna D'Errico, and Reno's #1 fan, Kenny Rogers.'
Ty
Hmm. I don't want the show to turn into a revolving door of guest stars. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
tinasdad
Loved the little interludes with all the characters commenting on the episodes.

Realized that the character of Junior is almost totally undeveloped--he's never had an episode focus on him and he hasn't really done a lot besides crack wise about everybody else. Junior needs his own episode.

For some reason Junior is my favorite. He's there to fill out the cowboy role. I guess I like how he works as Dangle's sidekick. I think JR understands Dangle being gay and is actualy pretty comfortable with it and his best friend on the force, like when they were coming up with Steven Sondhiem musicals and that's why he's his best friend on the force. His tour-de-force has to be the Junior Deputies "Who knows what circle the wagons means?"
entigral
omg the promos rock so hard!

can anyone tell exactly what the lyrics of the Flav song are? transcription, please! :D

only 3 more days!
roosterboy
Public Enemy's "911 is a Joke"

I've had this song stuck in my head all week!
kfree9
I want to get a new pet of some sort just so I can name him Steed. That name was cracking me up last night during the marathon.
JYR
Loved the little interludes with all the characters commenting on the episodes.

My favorite was Junior and Jonesy after the Dangle/Jonesy hookup:

Jones: I helped him move.
(Pause)
Junior: Did you bust a move?
Jones: Is that a Young MC reference?

I can't wait for the new episodes!
Not4Me
How sad am I for trying to plan my entire summer around not missing a new original episode of Reno 911? I used to have this kind of obession for Sunday nights Simpsons episodes.
Kaboom
How sad am I for trying to plan my entire summer around not missing a new original episode of Reno 911?

I'm planning on doing the same thing, and I don't find it sad at all. :-)

Junior needs his own episode.

Hopefully he'll have one during this season. The marathon on Saturday was AWESOME, along with all the interludes. I wish Flava Flav would make a cameo on the show.
cuyler123
Tom Lennon (Lt. Dangle) is scheduled to be a guest on tonight's Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC).
thepurplepixie
I am not on good terms with this show. I like Dangle. Stop being so mean, it makes me sad. Ok? Ok. 'Cause he's awesome. And lost-dog guy turned out to be a thief and a pepper-spraying ass, and now no one cared that he was maybe leaving, and I CARED! I did. So be nice. Stupidheads. Thank you.
Saffron
I was underwhelmed by the new episode. Maybe I was expecting too much, but I really didn't laugh that much. (And I laugh hysterically at the old episodes, even if I've seen them 5 times.)

And they changed the ending. In season 1, the "on next week's episode" was just made-up funny stuff, now it looks like it's actual stuff from next week's episode.
Lantern7
I laughed. Hard. The Kenny Rodgers dream, the basketball obsession, the naked guy chase, Dangle and Junior getting into a shootout, Wiegel the Clown firing a gun in a children's ward, Dangle acting like a pissy little bitch because nobody cares about his need to be bid goodbye...gold. All gold.

Anybody else like the info segment? This week, we found out babies are worth as much as car stereos. Priceless.

ETA: And they changed the credits, but Johnson still has problems with doors, and Junior still plays with dogs. No Dangle doing karate moves, though.
Kaboom
Was anyone else a bit disturbed that it was Garcia that had the dream? Especially since Dangle and Kenny Rogers are in it? I laughed, a lot, during this ep.

And they changed the credits, but Johnson still has problems with doors, and Junior still plays with dogs. No Dangle doing karate moves, though.

Hee! It looked like Junior was getting mauled by a pit bull. And yay! We got to see Junior's home (I am craving background on Junior, big time). And my theory that Junior is secretly fascinated, or something, by Trudy continues since he HAD to be at her house to steal Dangle's bike. Right?? ;-)

I gotta admit: my jaw dropped when Dangle showed up at Weigel's house. What was the phrase he used to describe what he was going to give her since he was leaving town?
Albanyguy
Oh, God, I waited all spring and my cable went out last night! I missed it! What have I done to offend the television gods?!?

Now, I'll have to wait until Comedy Central repeats it this weekend. But please, someone tell me, why is Dangle saying goodbye? He's not really leaving, is he? And the whole big shootout cliffhanger was just a dream og Garcia's?
VaVaVoom
I didn't laugh all that much during the episode either, Saffron. Bits of it were funny though. Yay for more Junior!

I hope we get to see more of TT (is that she spells it?) this season.

Dangle's not really gone, Albanyguy. He came back at the end.
TexasGal30
What was the phrase he used to describe what he was going to give her since he was leaving town?

I think the phrase he used was "charity sugar."

I was surprised that Trudy had an Asian man there - hasn't she made slurs against Asians in the past?

On another note, is it just me, or has Miss Raineesha Williams lost weight?
Charles Lane
The episode had its moments, but wasn't up to snuff. I'm gonna chalk it up to their being a little out of practice.
morecowbell
The "keeping it real with the reno pd" spot made me laugh pretty hard. Especially Clementine's "we were only goin' to have a few beers" and she holds up 2 fingers.
lawgiver
I enjoyed the ep - I loved the "plum smuggler" line, and the mess of naked, mulleted trailer park residents. Boy, they really make Kerry Kennedy unattractive by putting her in those spinster librarian outfits.
Kaboom
I think the phrase he used was "charity sugar."

Thank you, TexasGal! I am so going to use that phrase at some point.

I was surprised that Trudy had an Asian man there - hasn't she made slurs against Asians in the past?

Yup, against Koreans. I would've thought the ice cream guy from last season would be at her house (he had the red, white and blue push-up, I think...).
roosterboy
This week, we found out babies are worth as much as car stereos.

"Even if they're Chinese."

I missed the first few seconds of Garcia's dream, coming in just in time to see Dangle and Kenny Rogers in bed before the dream ended. So, last season's cliffhanger was all a dream?

Did anyone else love Jonesy in his big blue 'fro and silver face paint? That cracked me up somethin' fierce!
faninohio
This show is the shit! God I was laughing so hard when Dangle got tackled by Junior when they were fighting. So, has Junior been the one to steal his bike every time? Hee! Loved the naked guys! And the PSA was too fucking funny!! Why is it still almost two weeks till the dvds come out? Why??
Denman
That PSA was great I hope they do more! Seeing Dangle act in it reminded me of when he was in that prostitution sting and he was coaching the two hookers on how to better act in a girl-on-girl fantasy because "he had done some dinner theater"! I loved getting to see Junior's trailer. He's my favorite character especially when he was telling those kids touring the jail all those horrific stories of what went on there!
