Seriously, as long as they're throwing bones to shipper groups, why do Clana fans get a kiss and Chlark fans don't? That's just rude *frowns disapprovingly*.

Mercy has turned out to be rather lame, disappointingly. Not the actress' fault-- she's awesome. But her storyline has limped along, and it doesn't look like it's going to improve, does it?

Honestly, the Clana isn't really much more than what we already knew. We knew there was a kiss, and I can't say I'm surprised the Legion are pimping Lana as one of the reasons Clark becomes a hero; it's been pretty obvious, imo, that Lana's episodes were going to be All About Lana/Clana with everything else more or less grinding to a halt until she's gone for good.

That said: awesome trailer. Looks like MM gets his powers back, too.

Especially now that they outed that she betrays Lex... go freaking figure.


The Chloiser in me, Lana is part of the reason, but to me that means she's not a part of his future, unlike Chloe who'll always be there for him. Lana maybe a part of the reason he becomes a hero but Chloe is his constant.


Well I dunno, there is a scene that looks like the Chloiac/Clark fight goes to the DP and it seems Clark throws her through the glass windows into the Copy room. You see someone wearing white smashing through the windows.

I think Lana's wearing white, too. Could be someone throwing her around. I find it hard to envision Clark throwing Chloe through a window even if she is infected with a major villain.

Lana is shown either wearing dark grey or black, Chloe's only scenes have been with her in her white wedding dress. And it does look like someone wearing a white dress is crashing through those windows.

Clark's a shallow, hypocritical, short-sighted, lying blowhard. If Lana wants to be responsible for that mess, I absolutely am okay with it. I surely don't want Chloe taking credit for him.

I'm bored with KK already. I mean, sure, anything is better than Nois, but clearly KK's return is aimed at attracting viewers during sweeps and will amount to nothing more than filler. I suspect Clark'll have a good think about what Lana means to him and what the relationship truly is. And he'll realize he's over it just in time for Nois to come back.

I'm so glad Chloiac gets to knock around Clark and Dooms. If only Lana, Jimmy and Nois were around to personally experience Chloiac on a rampage, that'd be the only reason I'd want them around really. If Chloe is stuck being a doormat, at least they'd give the visual of AM kicking behind.

I have to imagine her remaining to be somewhat evil at least on her own because otherwise what's her point going to be on the show? To be the friendly owner of the DP? To be the girlfriend of Oliver Queen? (And seriously show, lobotomizing another female character so she could be in a submissive relationship with a douchey male?) There'd be no payoff to the Legion of Doom. And Doomsday can't be the singular Big Bad since there's no planning or strategy for him like there would be with stopping Tess- just violence. That bothers me far more than Lana being the reason Clark becomes who he is (and I fear what, if anything, they'll say about Lois).

At least Chloe looks like she's having fun.

Yeah, Doomsday's plot has been okay. Tess's arc, such as it is, has sucked and this "sleeps with Ollie and cries and betrays Lex" storyline SUCKS the big one. If she goes totally good, I hope Lex has a mutant plug her.

There's a bit at about 0:47 in the preview where it looks like Cosmic Boy and Lightning Lad are performing an exorcism on Chloe while Clark and Saturn Girl are holding her down on a table in the barn.

I'm thinking its also Chloeiac. Clark heads to the FOS confronts Chloeiac, she kicks his ass, he passes out. Somehow she ends up or is followed to the DP, another round of Clark and Chloeiac or perhaps with the LOSH this time, cut to her getting thrown through the window. She passes out from the hit and Clark and the LOSH quickly take her back to his farm to conduct the "ritual". The surrounding set looks like all hell broke loose. Looks like the same destruction from the barn after Dooms went postal.

But then there's a shot of LOSH in the morning/afternoon introducing themselves to Clark, don't know if in the process he decided to clean up, before the confrontation, or that mess was caused by the act of the exorcism itself?

I'm getting flashbacks of the film Constantine watching that same of her being strapped down...coincidentally the same film AM mentioned in her blog awhile back having to watch for research on her directorial episode?

Maybe she turns on Lex because he broke some kind of code, but doesn't necessarily join the white hats. She could just go rogue -- do things her way rather than according to Lex's offscreenville plans. It could make her more unpredictable and more interesting to watch.

I just don't think they'll take what's left of her badass away. She already is Ollie's wetnap. To put her on some goody redemption arc on top would be stupid. They lready know how "well" we responded to the first.

Then again, these are the producers that responded to massive cries of "no more Chimmy" by marrying them.

What I wanted to imply was, that it is very possible that Tess turns her back on him, cuz Lex loves Lana more than her. Like he only used her to save Lana. It's very consistent how I think the writers view Lex and his feelings for her. I find that really silly, yet so possible for a CW show.

No... the producers responded to the Standing Ovation that the Vessel kiss received in that screening with Chlimmy.

I think it's kind of funny that in that new trailer, when Chloiac and Davis are confronting each other in the fortress, Davis, despite having hulked out into a particularly spiky monster shortly before, is still wearing pants. Which meant that Doomsday had been wearing them all along. Which would, I think, have added an amusing note to that wedding massacre if we'd seen Dooms clearly.

While I agree that Tess might go Rogue Evil, her betraying Lex is still sad to me. He needs someone to side with him and I had so much hope for Tess, since she was cool. I still end up afraid that she'll end up Mrs. Queen and her "Legion" will be used for the big Doomsday battle at the end rather than to wreak havoc. I hope this is some sort of scam.

I had the image of John Jones writing down witness interviews that say "He was spiky, boney. He was grey with red eyes. And he was wearing Dockers."

It makes sense should Luthorcorp fall in order for Lexcorp to rise. It seems to me, should they go all Mythos on us, that Tess will be responsible for the fall of Luthorcorp, and since Tess and Oliver has been so close, even their businesses, to a point where they share everything... it makes me wonder if Queen Industries begin merger talks with Luthorcorp, and the sub company, Lexcorp is all that remains, and then Lex returns and Lexcorp sky rockets.

God, we can hope so. I'm amazed at PS3's ability to RUIN characters. I hold out hope because Chloe=Brainiac all this season. But they've ruined Clark and Jimmy beyond redemption (well Jimmy already sucked but Maxima put him over the top cause he claimed "it wasn't me" riiight). But they had Tess and Oliver---Tess has been in like seven episodes so far---and they managed to make them boring, uninteresting and irrelevant. Lois, always a drunk fucktard, has become a whining, crying, snotting, pining pwincess this season.

If Tess turns on Lex, he needs to bump her off. I figured he'd bump her off anyway, but this just makes it less regrettable. If she's not on Lex's side, she's worthless to the story. Rogue villains are not needed. Dooms fulfills that quota. Lex needs a minion to organize his army. If Tess isn't going to do it, then MR needs to get his behind back to SV asap to take care of the evil business.

BTW, as crappy as the CW treats AM/Chloe, I would point out that there was NO sign of JH/Ollie in the trailer, even though he will be in #12. They chose only MM, Clark, Clana, clips from 12. Even more insulting to JH/Ollie, the CW bypassed including new JH/Ollie stuff but inserted an old Nois shot.



Those are some short shorts on Doomsday. By comparison, the dockers are more dignified.
