Now overall it sounds like Chloe to me, and I know the "we need you" came from Chloe.

The first one is a toss up, between Chloe or Lois to me.

Apocalypse trailer on youtube, for those of us without the CW.

I watched the trailer and listened for those lines: At first, I thought it a toss up bet. Kara and Chloe. But, IMO it's definitely Chloe. I'm sure this will be a realworld!line not an AU.

That's definitely Chloe saying that. And who is Clark grabbing and pushing against something @ :11? It looks like it could be Jimmy, but I don't think it is. Is he in the episode?

I'm pretty sure that IS Jimmy, but it's hard to tell for sure.

I've watched the trailer many times and the person Clark is smashing against the bookshelf is Jimmy, I'm almost positive because he's wearing an outfit similar to what Jimmy in Superman Reaturns wears.

In the AU Jimmy doesn't know Clark, so, there be some friction between the two for some reason. And, seeing Tom with the glasses REALLY makes me want to see him on the big screen. And, God help me if it doesn't make him look different enough to fool people in that universe..lol..

It sounds like the first part comes from Lois and the latter from Chloe but I can't be 100% sure....

It sounds like Lois at the very end of that first part, cause Lois always have that weird twirling voice affect thing when she speaks sarcastically, but it's such a higher pitch that it sounds like Chloe.

It seems to be Chloe and it doesn't make sense for Lois to say that.

If you look at the Apocalypse trailer caps at Ksite, you'll see a few that don't appear in the 20 second trailer, they're probably from the extended trailer but I haven't seen it yet on the CW site.

The new shots:

-Kara following Lex around (he appears to be angry at her or something)
-A shot of someone in their pajamas when something is dropped on the floor
-Lex with black glove speaking on the phone while Braniac is showing him the contents of the briefcase

It sounds like at least part of the voiceover is her voice.

IMO, it sounds like that's what happens exactly. She sounds more emotional in that VO than she has since "Cure."

Chloe does sound very emotional there, no? I wonder what happens to make her sound so desperate. (Though the idea of Clark guilt-tripping himself so much he even makes Chloe, who sees this on a regular basis, sound like that? Not appealing.)

President!Lex just looks so very cool. And damn, JM's smooth "Are you alright, Mr. President" is just so sexy. I'm curious as to why Clark's slamming Jimmy against shelves, and what is that thing that drops to the ground in the middle of that trailer? It looks like OJ to me, but I can't be sure.

It looks like Clark is posing as a reporter for a press conference. I would love to hear him say, "Clark Kent, Daily Planet."

Whoever it is, they're barefeet and in PJs. I'm thinking someone got an early morning shock. Also, that location does not seem familiar at all. Does Lex's place have wooden floors?

I bet it's Chris Kent when Clark enters the Kent house after returning from the FoS in the AU. Not really a reason to drop juice, but I can't think of anyone else who would have juice, be in PJs, and be surprised.

I would love that, if she's not going to get emotional about losing her job then I want to see her snap at Clark for all the guilt he throws on himself.

I think it was Chloe's voice saying both sentences, though I am not 100% sure. More so it wouldn't make any sense for Lois to say them, IMO.

That's most definitely Chloe in the VO. You can tell by the great acting ability :)

I'm really pumped about President!Lex! I'm loving that he's talking about launching some kind of missile or weapon because it throws back to "Hourglass".

It's that last part in the first VO. It sounds like Chloe until you hear that voice thing, which is a trait of Lois. But the voice itself is Chloe, just with that Lois thing... thus confusing.

IA that it's definitely Chloe in the voice-over. But I'm also bummed that there is no Chloe in the trailer at all! That's quite depressing especially since it's almost like a pattern lately.

My take on Chloe not being around in trailers, CW promos etc: I think tptb, marketers and whoever else, just use the mythology "big names" for marketing reasons. Eg: The Women of The CW campaign: focused alot on Lois and Kara, with a tiny Chloe in the background..also, the Smallville weekly ads always feature Clark, Lex and Lana...

So while Chloe doesn't get into most of the trailers...I'm ok with that, because she does get a good bit of attention outside of the CW...like the TV Guide issue and others. OTOH, while TW obviously gets CW promos as the star, I'd like to see him get more acknowledgement from outside sources as well. I loved the Vogue spread that he did, and I hope to see more.

I'd not have watched. I watched the first few minutes in primetime. Self preservation instincts kicked in with the first indication that this would be Chloe and/or Jimmy heavy (that ridiculous conversation in her apartment). I got the show later via friend's Tivoing.

It made me hate Smallville.

So I don't know whether the promo people are smart or evil for not indicating her level of involvement in this episode. Because all through the rest of sleeper I was paralyzed, just paralyzed by how utterly ridiculous the focus was and going "Never. Never. Never. NEVER will I watch smallville again." Which I'm guessing isn't what the CW is going for.

I haven't heard/seen it myself, but from a logical standpoint, it could be either of them. Even if specific knowledge is required - it's an AU, so that knowledge can be learned in the AU.

So it seems Robert Picardo plays Edward Teague. I generally love him, but I think it wasn't the best casting for this role. Still, he is a great actor, so he will most probably be very good as ET.

I was totally thrilled to see Robert Picardo. I always loved him on Voyager, and I squeeed like a little kid when I recognized him on the promo. I'm really surprised they didn't publicize him more in advance, though.

I think it's cool that Edward Teague is dressed like a monk with that robe on because wasn't the original idea for Veritas to have them as members of a secret society who wore stuff like that? Interesting that they finally get to incorporate that.

I'm totally getting a "Da Vinci Code" feel off that trailer - the robe, the church, the secret society stuff ... this should be good!

It's the "Vessel" save, just before the big Chlark kiss. I'd like to think its presence in the trailer was intended to suggest something Chlarky might happen in this episode, but frankly I think they just thought, "Oooh! There's stained glass in the church, and stained glass in this old clip, too! Cool!"
