For those interested in Andorian antennae, I found this quote from Jeffrey Combs on his Official Fan Website:
[regarding trying to keep the antennae subtle]
...like kelp in the sea: they're always there always undulating, and then every once in a while they react.
The whole
article is interesting, actually.

Do I recall correctly that the Andorian antennae were supposed to be their equivalent of external ears? 'Cause the ENT Andorians clearly already have those. It'd be neat if they would show Shran holding a chicken leg up to his antenna to sniff it or something. Or peep around a corner with them, to sense movement. Or show them reacting to some stimulus that we wouldn't recognize- like all the antennae flinch and the Andorians go "tss" while the ENT crew stands around saying "what?"
I like the idea that the Andorians could be like the mineral alexandrite: different colors under different light sources.

Back when Archer got the drop on Suzie Plakson's Andorian, he snuck up behind her- and when she realized (too late for her) that he was there, her antennae bent backwards for a "look." So they can look in two directions, but I guess often don't. I guess it might be something like us looking in front but listening to something behind.

Blue, green? I always considered them a bluish-gray. In fact, I think I have a book about 'em around here somewhere by Oscar Wilde (ahead of his time, as usual) called "Portrait - Andorian; Gray."
Well, OK I made it up. But it sounded good, dinit?

Yeah i always thought that they were Blue/grayish too. But i had noticed that they seem to change colour under different shades of light and backgrounds, abit like a comilian(not spelt it right, so 1 of them lizards that change colour).
Yeah an andorian does appear on TNG, but i liked them better in TOS, when kirk has to try and stop a war on ship when he has those to ambassdars, the other vulcan. It's quite funny seeing a vulcan try not to get angry and puch the other guy.
As i live in England we haven't seen any andorians yet, i hope they still look the same.

Wait... the guy who played Shran also played Weyoun and Brunt? My three favorite Trek non-main caracters!
