Hee. Bibbo's a guy in the comics. Sort of a simple, ale-guzzling guy. Friend of Jimmy Olsen's and a big idolizer of Superman. He won a giant lottery and bought a pub - Ace O' Clubs - which he runs.
He rescued the newest version of Krypto (Superdog), and did a lot of work helping out after Superman died. He's a really decent guy, and helps Clark and Lois out with stories sometimes.

God I love the Ezra stuff -- I'm so glad it's back.
The passage itself is long and I only recognize like one line of it, so I'm not gonna post it. However, to decifer it, you have to figure out that T=9 Y=7 O=0 L=2 E=4 R=6 U=3 K=5 B=1 P=8. It's not very hard since they fill in the majority of the words. But when you put these letters in order from 1 to 0?

Passage translated:
This is my only chance for survival. It's not written in any language known to man. I know about the lab at Metron. It's been a long time, but I never forget a face. You can say what you mean, but it won't change a thing -- I'm sick of the secrets. Multicolored lights speeding past, washing time and reality away -- you don't have an end. Clark -- It's happening! I don't like riddles, doctor. One of the cars will break loose -- I won't see you alive again. They made me into someone no one can love, not even you! Live amon them, not above them. boiling bubbling, it turns ink-black. The Cage will shut. You won't find the answer by looking to the stars -- it's a journey you take by looking inside yourself. Trust me, there's no future in crime fighting unless you enjoy being sued. They will cry tears of blood. I should load my conscience with grave sinse against the sacred spirit of lucidity. Hey, Atticus, you may want to change your shirt. According to the Greeks, he was greater in strength and stature than any other mortal. Any idea how an only child can make like the Olson twins? Bye, Gene. May want to rethink the frames, too -- I can barely reckognize you behind those things. Do you need something, Loreen? Memory seeps from my veins -- let me be empty and weightless. As he watches, her eyes close peacefully, her beauty undimmed. Didn't your parents teach you to respect your elders? No, not now ... not you ... I believe you're going to save more people in this world than youll ever know. She could be anyone brainwave.
At least, I'm almost positive that's what it says.

Hee!
When Superman dies, John Henry Irons makes himself a suit (giant metal thing, very bulky but protective) and calls himself - The Man of Steel! He's an amazing metalworker, and ends up making all sorts of things for the Metropolis Special Crimes Unit - IE, a unit dealing with metahumans (Krypto-freaks) and the rest. When Superman, er, un-dies, he politely asks The Man of Steel to shorten his name to just 'Steel', and they become loose partners.
And after typing all that, 'steel' no longer sounds like a word.

This week's Ezra has this line in it:
I have to live with my mistakes. Don’t let them become yours.
It sounds really familiar, like something Lex would say. A lot of the lines are direct quotes from old episodes, but with a few words switched around. (I have a theory that they do this on purpose so I can't google it) I don't suppose anyone recognizes it?

Letter #6: PINK EYE FOR THE SMALLVILLE GUY
LETTER TO THE EDITOR
Why is the Talon so pink? Every time I'm in there, I wish I could teleport out, it's so pink.
Alicia
I thought they wouldn't considering the
spoilery nature of it. As soon as I read
spoilers about Alicia, her teleporting, her Lana-hate, and her crush on Clark, I posted that letter. But they left out the part about her being a new girl in town and being "obessed" with 'that Clark guy'
a little too spoilery perhaps, and opted to reference the crush in the title "Pink Eye for the Smallville guy".
I wonder if they'll "print" a letter hinting at the Clex. Like, "Why does a billionaire playboy and Luthcorp Exec. spend so much time with a wierd farm boy? Are they, like, having an affair? Just kidding." Or, "Those two are up to something, sneaking around town in the dead of the night."

Frankly, Smallville is already infamous among Kansas law enforcement because it well exceeds the state and national average of per capita automobile

What is going to become of Meteor, the horse that stomped Lana [Lang]? I have to say what happened to Lana was awful, but it wasn't really the horse's fault. With respect to the Ezra Small prophecy 18/2/04:
After decryption, there were a series of numbers, followed by periods, ranging from 13 to 44, embedded seemingly at random in words throughout the prophecy (e.g. "When I look at these walls, I feel like I co15.uld solve..." ). If the letters following the periods are pulled out in numerical order, you get the phrase: "Pour aimer sa ville elle doit la partir"
Translated from the french using a web based translator, this reads: "To like its city it must leave it"
Jaded482
Feb 20, 2004 @ 9:47 pm
"Pour aimer sa ville elle doit la partir"

Ezra: It’s like for the first time in my life, everything fits...like we really are destined to be together.
Cyb: Has this already been said in an episode? Because if it's a future Clana line I don't think I want to see that episode.
clarkenwell: Yes it's Clark talking to Lex about his relationship with Lana in Calling.
Unless Clark says the same line twice, I'm pretty sure this is from
Skinwalkers, not
Calling. Clark says it to Jonathan about Kyla:
Clark: Yeah, I can be myself with her. For the first time in my life, I feel like everything fits. Like we're destined to be together
A lot of the lines tend to be old quotes. For instance,
All my father ever told me was, "Don't get caught. Don't cause a scandal." that's not love, that's public relations
is Lex to Clark in
ReaperETA: I think I found the line you are thinking of,
clarkenwell. It is very close. Clark to Lex in
Calling:
Clark: But we’re meant to be together. I’ve never been so sure about anything in my life.

Also on the
Ledger, an interesting little
bit of news. From that article:
The circumstances call to mind a similar situation in 2002, when doctors at Chicago's County General Hospital staged a walkout to protest the lack of metal detectors in their emergency room. A chief resident led the revolt, two years after himself surviving a vicious workplace attack that also took the life of his female colleague.
Asked if doctors at SMC will have to resort to such tactics, Scanlan commented, "Granted, we're not a major urban hospital like County General. We don't have riots and gunmen in the emergency room every third week, or helicopters falling off the roof and Army tanks smashing into the ambulance bay. But there has to be a certain standard of protection even in Smallville.
Hee! Hee! Hee!
