big house, classic car...what the hell did Danny do for a living?
He was a local talk show host, along with Becky.
Now the other guys are harder. Joey had the Ranger Joe thing, but what did he do before? And don't tell me that Jesse and the Rippers was a successful band. What was Jesse's day job?

He was a mechanic early on and then he and Joey became advertising executives and then became radio disk jockeys toward the end.

Jesse was an exterminator early on, I believe in his dad's business.
Also, Danny started out as a sports reporter and I can't remember when he stopped being one and became a talk show host? Does anyone else remember or did it change out of nowhere one day?

Second season when they brought in Becky. Danny's boss pulled him aside and told him that they were making him the host of a morning talk show and his co-host would be Becky.
I'm ashamed to admit it, but I taped every episode of Full House. It was my favorite show back in the day and I would watch my tapes all the time. While I haven't actually watched an episode in about 8 years, all of this stuff is burned into my memory.

I thought Steph was really upset at Uncle Jesse for taking the bunnies down because her mother put them there.
She was upset originaly when he first moved in and he said he wanted to take the bunnies down. Then she told him that her mother put them up for her, and so he kept them, until a few seasons later.

Oh yeah. I remembered him being a mechanic because of the coveralls with the name patch and I guess the episode where they are stuck in the garage for Michelle's birthday.

A couple of my friends and I were talking about Full House at lunch the other day (honestly don't know how it came up, this is the result of waking up at the crack of dawn to go to stupid school) and somebody asked if anybody remembered how it ended. Absolutely no one could remember...but somebody said it ended with that two part episode where Michelle lost her memory.
I didn't think that was right...can anybody help me sort this out? Thanks!

Same here. I would kick and scream and pout every time I'd miss and episode, refusing to go out the night it aired. (Used to in the TGIF line-up, I recall, but I vividly remember it airing on Tuesday nights. Am I right?) Didn't know the episode titles, so I had to label them "DJ gets and F Full House", "The love letter Full House", "Greek Full House", etc. Goods times. You know, as cheesy as it was, I miss this show. Granted, got over it when
Party of Five entered my life (seem to have an addiction to shows set in San Fran where at least one parent was killed by a drunk driver...), but then
that went off the air, and TV hasn't been the same since.

I like the show. It just gives me a happy feeling. It's refreshing to see a family who loves and supports each other. The chemistry was really good too. Sure, it was corny, but it was also funny.

Truth was, the whole cast didn't even know it was their last episode. There was doubt that they would continue another season. So, they wrote it as a wrap up of the show, which was the family stayed together and dealt with what came. Once they finished it, I think it was like a few weeks later, it was revealed that Full House wasn't coming back, so they did a curtain call of sorts with a studio audience and notified other actors as a last hoha. What was funny was Dave Coule had longer hair when they filmed the last episodes, but when they did the call, he just gotten cut short. He even made a joke of it when he ran onto the set, he was grooming his hair as in: "yep, I just got a hair cut in the last 5 mintues."

Was I the only one who wanted to live in the Tanner house? Not with the Tanners, just the house. I loved the stairs that curved around like that and the secret entrance to the kitchen from the laundry room. My house wasn't cool like that.
The house rawked. I loved the open staircase/landing with the window seat thing underneath.

I always thought the bunnies WERE Michelle's...but I guess she already had her own room, so that didn't make sense. Was this the same room DJ moved into later on?
No, the room that DJ moved into was Michelle's old room; then Michelle and Stephanie shared a room.

It aired on Tuesday nights for the last two seasons. I remember the first year it was on on Tuesday it was up against "Saved by the Bell: The college Years".
Didn't know the episode titles, so I had to label them "DJ gets and F Full House", "The love letter Full House", "Greek Full House", etc.
My tapes were all labeled "Full House 1", etc. (I had 24 of them) But I made a reference book for myself of all the episodes on each tape with very similar descriptions.

I come here to read some wholesome stuff about FH and what did I end up finding out? Uncle Joey is Mr. Duplicity in "You Oughta Know", and possibly the subject in "Hands Clean" by Alanis Morissette. Ewww.
Anyway, does any Canadian know what channel and what time Bell Express show FH? I'd like to see how cheesy this show is from an adult's p.o.v. :)

John Stamos was in yesterday's Friends episode (in the Netherlands). My flatmates and I all agreed on the hotness of him.
I always wanted a house like the one the Tanners had. With a bigger garden, though. The house seemed (to me) quite similar to the one in Two of a Kind. Did they repaint the set?

Actually, it was 4-bedroom, not counting the finished basement and subsequent attic.
Which reminds me..what became of Jesse's bedroom after he and Rebecca moved to the attic? Did Joey live there, so the basement could become a fulltime studio?

It was Michelle's room. They moved Michelle into Stephanie's and DJ's room cuz DJ was getting older and felt she should have her own room. Makes sense. I'm the oldest and I'd be pissed too if I had to share a room with the middle child whilst the youngest gets her own room.
Saved By the Bell where Jessie takes caffine pills.

The way they were going on about it, you'd think she was hooked on every available drug and had resorted to robbing defenseless old ladies to pay for it.

Has anyone noticed that Aunt Becky ALWAYS wears the same shoes? I just watched the marathon on ABCFamily, and she always has on mary jane type black heels. Weird.
Also, why did Michelle have such annoying friends? Does anyone know who they are and what they are doing now?
BTW, I heart FH marathons!!!

I realized today that as the seasons went on, Joey got uglier, fattier, and of course, creepier.
The burning question for you all is - Nelson or Viper? During first run, I preferred Viper, but now I think I like Nelson better. Also, Viper raped Tiffani-Amber Thiessen in my favorite Lifetime movie, so I can't help but think of that whenever I see him.

Getting back on topic, I'd totally watch a reunion show, just out of curiousity. The set was happy, right? No huge fights or grudges -- doesn't seem like there'd be a conflict there to prevent a get-together.

I was TOTALLY thinking the same thing. And if he really is 'Guy' on General Hospital, I'm not really seeing any resemblance to his days on FH.

Feb 5, 2004 @ 2:24 pm
I looked him up on the imdb and tvtome, and no "General Hospital" appearances are mentioned. Hm... I'd like to see what he looks like now as well. I saw Miko Hughes on one of those "Child Stars" specials (either on E! or VH1, I can't remember which), and I found it highly disturbing that I found him a little bit attractive.
Then again, this is coming from the girl who has had a massive thang for Saget since I was 14. I blame it all on my sister; she's a year younger than the Olsen twins, and when she was little, she'd just chant "Michelle! Michelle! Michelle!" over and over again. Jeez. We also have countless VHS tapes that just say, "Michelle" on them.
I've been watching the reruns on Nick and on ABC Family, and I'm all, "Hey, Bob Saget was *only* 31 when this episode aired! That's not much older than I am now!" But then I have to stop and consider the fact that when Bob Saget was 31, I was 7 years old. Then it's just creepy.
Did you all know that the drummer for Jesse and the Rippers is Roger Lodge from "Blind Date"? Jesse even refers to him as Rog in a couple of shows! Good stuff, good stuff.
And I have to admit to being a wee bit excited about the reunion rumors. I am a sad, sad girl.

I could have sworn Jesse fell into the back of a tomato truck instead of getting caught on a tree...what episode was that? Refresh my memory?
It makes me mad that ABC Family inserts commercials in weird places where there aren't meant to be any. Also, going to commercial on FH just isn't the same without that music!

I don't know why, but I've had this scene in my head all day. It's from one of the classic (and rare) episodes where Danny gets pissed at Michelle for calling Tokyo:
"Moshi, moshi, Miko-san!"
("Michelle-san!")
"I can count to 100! 1...2...3...4...5"
(Danny: Did Michelle call Tokyo?)
