Here is a picture of what he looks like now as well as some other Full House characters.

Wow, I knew he would look funny, but not that funny, lol. WHy is he hugging up on girlee from Punky Brewster? (As you can see, I am horrible with names, lol). And yep, him and Danny Pintauro are neck and neck for the gayest of gay children. BTW, I totally forgot that Pet Cemetary kid was on FH. He will always look scary to me. Journee, OTOH, looks great, and I would love to see her in more acting roles (I hope she hasn't given it up!)

Then it dawned on me that the writers may have been stupid enough that they didn't note the double entendre there and meant for it to mean Steph was calling Kimmy a "horror" and us filthy minded folk think whore.
To be honest, I always thought it was supposed to mean "horror-scope". I guess I'm just as stupid as the writers! I still think the line is pretty fun though. For Full House anyway. However, I do always seem to find myself cracking up at the jokes more because of their corniness than cleverness.
Anyways, Whore-a-scope. Never would thought that, you dirty minded people :)

It is, isn't it? I've seen Miko Hughes on several "child stars all grown up" type shows and he always comes off really articulate and down to earth. Then when I start to find him cute, I remember he's Aaron from Full House and the creepy little kid from Pet Cemetery.

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I hate Michelle with a passion of a thousand suns. I liked her as a child growing up, but I never realized how AH-noying she was until me and my college roommate watched that Nick@Nite Full House marathon.

Yes, Michelle does suck. I noted more evidence of this when I was watching my season 3 DVDs the other night. In a short segment before the intro song, the girls and Danny are trying to decide a name for their new puppy (to be dubbed Comet). Michelle suggests "Michelle." After Stephanie suggests "Comet," Michelle says, "I like Michelle." Then after they make their decision, she leaves the room pouting. Of course, we're supposed to find it funny, but...HATE!
Also, something I was surprised by: In one of the eps in season 3, Joey and Jesse are briefly acting motherly toward Danny and one of them makes the comment, "I know about those magazines under your bed." A somewhat racy joke for Full House?
How come the "Stephanie-is-clingy-after-an-earthquake" episode is rarely on? I caught it on TV last week, but that's one I barely remember seeing. The rest I've seen so many times I couldn't count.

Her "You got it dude" and "Youre in bug trouble mister" got tired after awhile. Even Stephanie didnt say "How rude" all time.
I'm just wondering...how come DJ got grounded for bringing home a horse, but Michelle didnt when she bought home that donkey? Spoiled, much? And a lot of episodes seem to revolve around her. I think Teddy and Denise should of dumped her good in the best friends episode.

That's because she was the Princess, Princess Michelle. I remember the episode where she got her first punishment, at like age 4 or something, (way to be proactive, Dad) and that was after getting away with murder for the entire episode. Spoiled doesn't begin to descibe her. I don't know if I hate her, or the writers, because all they gave Michelle was stupid catchphrases to say, that quickly grated on my nerves.
Oh, and for the longest time I thought Mary Kate Ashley Olson was the longest name for one child. Why couldn't TPTB afford to put in a "&" in between the names in the earlier seasons?

I think I remember that... Didn't she bring the pool into the house? Like, after every single person in the world told her not to, and then Danny gets all sappy and mopey when he realized he has to 'punish' her? Ugh.

I actually like Michelle's first punishment because I think it rings fairly true. Yeah, Michelle's a brat, and yeah, Danny's a pushover, but he at least explains WHY at the end. He just doesn't want to let her go. That's fair. The problem is that this episode was only the beginning and there was never any other acknowledgement of her bratiness ever again.
And yep, definitely thought she was Mary Kate Ashley Olson for years.

They've done much racier than that.
How about season 2, "A Little Romance" when the guys are participating in the bachelor auction--Danny is auctioning himself off and he is happy that someone actually put up a bid. All excited, he encourages the crowd: "Don't stop there, I can go all night!"

Oh. My. GOD. Michelle is the hugest brat in the world.
Not that we didn't already know this, but today was the Tanner family picnic/Jesse needs to write a hit song fast episode.
Jesse promises Michelle he'll run in a race with her at the Tanner family picnic. But then it turns out he has a shot at a record deal - IF he can write a fantastic song over the weekend. So he tells the family he can't come to the picnic. Michelle whines that he promised. He explains that he has to work. "But you promised!" This goes on for about two solid minutes, until he finally loses his temper and says he's breaking his promise and storms off.
Stuck and alone, he goes to a diner and runs into an Elvis impersonator who scolds him for ignoring his family over his career, saying that his kids won't care if Daddy has a platinum record as long as he's there for them. So Jesse goes to the picnic and apologizes. Everyone but Michelle forgives him immediately, because, as Danny says, "We understand the pressure you've been under." To which Michelle snots, "No we don't."
Jesse asks if she can't forgive him and she brats, "Your name is Uncle Meanie!" And, of course, Danny says nothing, instead of telling her to stop being a brat and apologize immediately. So Jesse says he guesses she's still made at him. To which she replies, "Duuuh!" and he laughs and says he deserved that. But if it makes her feel any better, he felt really bad about breaking his promise. To which she says, "That helps a little."
He grovels some more, she "forgives him," I puke, the end.
Seriously, who lets a four-year-old get away with that kind of shit?
Also, the twins are really, really creepy (the Olsens, I mean.) They don't connect with any of the other actors; they just kind of stare blankly at/through people. I keep expecting them to tell the other kids to "Come play with us forever..."

Oct 30, 2006 @ 4:00 pm
I remember seeing in some special (True Hollywood story, maybe? or some special like that) that the Olsen Twins were fed lines from someone right behind the camera, so that's probably who they were looking at if you see blank stares. That also explains why their lines sound so stilted, were usually one-liners, and 2-3 beats off in comedic timing.

I know the practice of aging kids up on sitcoms is pretty ridiculous in some ways, but in others it makes a lot of sense. I'd rather an older child capable of acting than robotic toddlers performing for a treat being dangled just out of camera range.
And I still don't get why they didn't just stick with one of the twins after the girls were old enough for a full-time acting gig. By the end of the series they were older than Jodie Sweetin was when the series started; why did they keep on with both of them?

Maybe I'm thinking of something else, but I believe later in the series they were going to drop one of the twins (don't ask me which one), but Stamos fought them on it.

Yeah, I've heard the same thing. I don't know which one they wanted to drop, though.
Which is fine by me. As much as I hate Michelle, there's something nice about the fact that they actually did age properly on camera, and it's kind of cool that they had the twins playing the role.
When I first read your post sjbrown25, I thought two things. Either Stamos fought against a storyline where he dropped Nicky or Alex and one of them died, or Stamos fought them against just dropping either Nicky or Alex and having Jesse and Becky suddenly have one kid.

I heard they wanted to keep Ashley because her comedic timing was better. But then again, I heard it was the Olsen parents that didn't want one of their girls being fired, so who really knows.
I hadn't seen an episode of this show in so long, but I was going through an old tape yesterday and came across the episode of Danny being Bachelor of the Month. Total Michelle Hate (TMH?) in that one. When she decides she's going to sneak on Danny's date, Teddy tells her, "But your dad said "No"'. Michelle snarks back, "Well I said "Yes"! That kid needed to be locked in a cage. And of course after Danny gives her the lecture and takes most of the blame for her actions, he treats her with gourmet cake. I'll give him the slight benefit of the doubt since he was on a date and didn't want to be a mean dad in front of Vickie. Still, I'm seeing what all you guys are saying about Michelle being a total brat.

Basically, all the episodes in the later seasons were "Michelle acts bratty and everyone apologizes." The Disneyland episodes were the best demonstration of it. But I put total blame on Danny & Jesse for being enablers.

It's scary that they're not identical twins, but I assume that the clarification was determined through a DNA test.
There's some speculation, however, that they're really half-identical twins. While identical twins form from one egg and one sperm that split after fusing and fraternal twins come from two eggs and two sperm, half-identical twins are from one egg that splits into two identical eggs that are each then fertilized by two separate sperm.

I have twin cousins who are fraternal but look exactly alike. One is a little bit skinnier than the other, but otherwise they look identical, so it does happen.

I knew someone who worked on one of the Olsen twins movies a few years ago, and she told me that they were both really nice, but that one of them really wanted to get out of showbiz and be "normal." (This was a few years before NYU even.) She stuck it out, though, because she knew the other would never have a career if she quit. (Which is, I'm sure, what her parents/agents/managers/whomever had beaten into her head.) I cannot, for the life of me, remember which one she said it was, but my gut tells me it was Mary Kate. Which would make sense, especially if Ashley was the one the FH producers wanted to keep.
As god-awful and precocious as most kids on tv are, I don't think there are any who were as annoying as Michelle. The only one who might come close is Olivia from the Cosby Show.

Yes, polar twins. There is some doubt whether polar twins actually exist or not, but if they do, this is a good explanation for why the girls look so alike but do not test genetically identical. However, if polar twins don't exist - or if the girls are not even polar twins - my bets are on them not ever having had a reliable DNA test. I've read articles where twins experts say that they are more than likely identical and probably have never had a reliable test to confirm this and have always assumed - based on small differences like height - that they are fraternal.
Okay, topic? More Michelle hate today where she gets all butt-hurt about another baby being in the house. Welcome to not being the center of everyone's frickin' world, you damn brat. And then when they tried to bribe her to act like a "big girl"? Who does that?!?! Yes, that's damn fine influence when you use childish bribes to make a child act more mature.

Hey, I'm new to these boards and just sort of making the rounds. Full House is the only show that I've seen every episode of...and of course some episodes I've seen three or four or five times :( I grew up with it, and always looked forward to watching it. I love the episode where the truck comes through the kitchen and spills all the wet concrete and they try to scoop it up with china. Hahaha. Also the one where Steph and DJ make a hole in Danny's bedroom wall and then they sing that song..."Dad, dad, dad". There are so many great ones. Oh yeah, and the one where DJ sneaks off to see Stacey Q.
The only thing I hated about the show was the way it ended. You don't get any sense of wrap-up or conclusion with the last episode except that you figure out that Michelle is going to be okay after her falling incident. I still wish they would've given this show a proper ending.

Megaburger, I believe when they filmed the episode they didn't know that it was going to be the series finale. The decision to cancel the series came afterwards.
When you think about it, though, it does make an appropriate ending to the series. Because everyone talks about how important Michelle is to their lives, and that's where the show's focus was for the last four seasons.
