How is Vicky and Danny breaking off their engagement Michelle's fault?

I just finished re-watching the episode where a 'Mr. Lou Bond' wants to but the Tanners' house. Can I just say that Michelle is the biggest goddamn brat on the planet? Her little pout when the rest of the family is so excited to move because they have no fucking room just grates.

The Lou Bond episode is actually worth it just to hear Kimmy call herself "the next dohr neighbo-ur". It is one of my few genuine FH laugh-out-louds.

How is Stephanie's friend Gia getting into that car accident with the two guys all Michelle's fault?
Hmm. If the adults hadn't been completely distracted by
Michelle's video game, Danny probably would have been paying attention when Gia came over and noticed that there were two guys in a convertible waiting outside for her and Steph. He, instead of D.J., would have forbade Stephanie from going and also would have threatened to call Gia's mother if she went, too. D.J. didn't have enough authority to make that kind of bluff over a non-relative. But
Michelle kept Danny from being a responsible, attentive parent that evening and no one was able to keep Gia from going, and thus she got into an accident with those guys and it's All! Michelle's! Fault!

Wow, you guys are good at the "it's all Michelle's fault" game, but here could be a stumper if it hasn't already been addressed. How is the death of the mother, Pam, Michelle's fault, given how much of vague details we have about the death.
hope829
Jun 22, 2006 @ 8:29 pm
Pam got into a car accident racing away from the house after a full day of baby Michelle?
Anakela21
Jun 22, 2006 @ 9:46 pm
wow sjbrown25, that was awesome!
And I agree with hope829- I am sure that Pam needed a few minutes of peace and quiet from baby Michelle. Or, more likely, Pam was running out to get baby Michelle a new stuffed animal because Michelle hadn't received a new toy in about four hours and there's no way that the princess should have to suffer for so long without a new toy. And that is why Pam was on that road at that time to be hit by that drunk driver and it's all (baby) Michelle's fault.
Ok here's one: how is Uncle Jesse dropping out of high school all Michelle's fault?
Drew T.
Jun 22, 2006 @ 9:54 pm
That's a tough one.
From all that we know, at least DJ was born by the time Jesse was a senior in high school (Stephanie was born soon after since she was 5 when Jesse was 24 according to the Full House age continuity timeline which, I believe, was really good). Jesse, realizing that his sister would have to like the sex with young Daniel Tanner to get pregnant at an early age and risk the wrath of their apparently mean father (remember, he made Jesse practice baseball a lot), knows that she's going to have several more kids. After all, she's Greek and given what we know about Jesse's family, she's likely a Greek stereotype. So she's going to have at least two more. So he drops out of school to get a job to help Danny and Pam out because he's a swell guy, and he ends up having to kill so many bugs to buy Michelle everything he wants that he can't go back to school to finish until she's older.
I know I took that question a little off course, and a little too far, but it's all I can do. I'll let someone clean it up.

Jun 22, 2006 @ 10:11 pm
I got it! Michelle made DJ think about writing the paper about keeping kids in school, which caused continuity from Jesse's high school reunion in season 3 to be completely wiped away and all of a sudden he was a high school drop out his senior year. Instead of the James Dean spoof of Jesse riding his motorcycle into the school gym the day before graduation. Which in real life James Dean got kicked out of college for riding his motorcyle just four days before graduation in the hallway of one of the school buildings.

There was an episode of FH that aired yesterday where Joey was the substitute teacher for Michelle's class. How the heck did that happen? When did Joey go to school or get his teaching licence?

Ok the talk of Jesse is Greek and Pam is Greek and such reminds me- how come Uncle Jesse was always all Greek all the time, but his sister's children weren't? I just never remember seeing much pride in the Greek name, Greek heritage, etc. in/from them.

You can totally play the blame Michelle game with this one, as I am pretty sure that Michelle was Patient Zero of the flu epidemic, which caused all of the teachers to be sick, which caused Joey to have to be a substitute in her class. :)
How is Stephanie having to get glasses all Michelle's falult?
cyaxel
Jun 23, 2006 @ 12:02 pm
Easy. Stephanie's eyes burned so much from looking at Michelle, that eventually her eye's were ruined. Thus, the glasses.

Jun 23, 2006 @ 12:05 pm
I hate that substitute episode because Michelle tries to actually blame herself (well, she blames the whole class) for Joey getting in trouble with the principal, but Joey won't let her. HORRIBLE.
And Michelle is such a little bitch in that episode. Joey isn't a bad guy and he'd be an interesting teacher, but Jesus, she had to make it a joke and then tell Danny that Joey was a bad guy.
That's a fun episode, though, with the guitar part. Mildew is awesome. I love any time the guys have a separate story from Michelle.
The episode after that was the Donkey episode. Enough said.

Not that I need to defend myself, but I would like it stated that I am a 100% straight male.
And I own somewhere around 13-14-15 Stephanie books, maybe eight Michelle books, and I've read one of the combo Stephanie/Michelle ones.
Stephanie books were always enjoyable. I wanted to see those characters come to life. I think that The Flamingoes would have made an interesting addition to the show.

I like the Stephanie books. (In fact, I'm reading one right now.) I figured they didn't make a series for DJ because she was in college.
I watched the curtain call on YouTube, and if the girl running out with Trent is Lizzie, she looks about as tall as the monkey twins, which is scary because she's three years younger than them.
Drew T.
Jun 24, 2006 @ 10:09 am
The Michelle books were mainly pretty stupid. Some weren't as bad as others. But, for instance, we got gems such as Michelle getting a letter in the mail saying she'll win money and so she buys everything she can, taking money from unsuspecting morons like Joey (I think). That one pissed me off because, in the end, Danny makes Michelle work off the money she's borrowed and can't pay back. That's fine. But what kills me is that they PAY HER TO WORK IT OFF. So they've given her all this money, and now they're going to give her more so that she can pay people back. The Tanners are out even more money than they should have been.
At least it was in character with the series.

Monkey twins- heh. I remember always thinking they looked like my
Monchichis, and feeling (a little) bad for thinking that about two babies...and then just about to plotzing when, while watching one of the "VH1 I love the 80s/90s/in3D" shows, someone on the show made the Monchichi reference!
But yeah, the monkey twins are way short-

Oh yes - I have that issue of Teen Vogue. It really shows how much better the twins could look if they didn't dress in clothes ten sizes too big for them. I've always liked Lizzie ever since I read that issue.

For some insane reason, even though I've seen it before, yesterday's episode (Michelle's nightmare big feet) made me laugh like hell when Michelle stepped on Joey's foot and also when Joey said "When you put your left foot in, (Hokey Pokey) you took everyone out."
And last night was the 2 parter we all seem to love to hate, with Princess Michelle at Disney World.
I think I need to get a life.

See I liked the episode yesterday(I think it was yesterday...maybe Saturday) where Becky wanted to sing w/the guys and she was terrible, and Jesse says "Guys, we have a real problem here!" when she leaves the room.
Joey: "This isn't a real problem. A real problem is, like, when your butt falls off"
Comedy gold, people. Comedy gold.

Okay, I don't know why I'm analyzing this, but the episode where Step-on-me is in the band was on today. Is it me, or is Steph's and even Michelle's (as manager) acts a conflict of interest with the fact that it's a "Wake Up San Francisco" talent show? Of course, Michelle's act had to win. Heaven knows that if nepotism is going to rear its ugly head, it's certainly going to involve Michelle. Stupid stupid stupid.

I like the fact that the Olsens are so hideously untalented that the producers couldn't even make us believe that almighty Michelle could win a talent contest. She had to be a manager. Good episode, though.
I also like the Kareem episode just because Jesse is so horrendous and we get to see Danny and Joey show off their mad skills.

Just depends. I'm the only one in my family (in two generations, and on both sides of the family) to have brown eyes. Everybody else is either blue eyed or green eyed. Hell, there's more blondes and redheads in my family than people with brown eyes.

Mel21! Being European I'm not likely to get to see it any time soon. And as long as Jodie's enjoying herself that's a good thing, I guess. She seemed keen on getting back into show-biz, and it seems she's got her wish.
And I'm probably the last person to find out about this, but I just realized that you can watch clips from tv-series at tv.com. I watched the ones from Full House yesterday, and I really think it's amazing what a talented little actress JS was at such a young age. You know, it's funny how the writers tried to recapture the magic of Stephanie's wedding with Michelle's. The "husband" even went home for meat loaf.
The problem is that Stephanie's wedding stemmed from deep insecurities and feelings of frustration about being the Jan Brady. She just wanted attention. It was a well thought out, psychological storyline.
Michelle's just a fucktard who thought Steve would be interested in her. Jesus.

She really was. The episode where she gets chicken pox and it spread to Jesse and Joey had the most charming (for lack of a better term) acting in the series. Most of it was due to her. She was believable as a sick little girl without being too glib or precocious about it.
